[Resolved]  Tikona — delay in installation

i'm a foreigner in this country, and i don't know how can i complain about tikona customer care. its near 14 days i've paid 3700 RS as 3months deposit,(because i don't have cheque, tikona has taken 3 months deposit plus other services that i've never seen). up to now nobody came to my home for installation, and more than 5 times i called to customer care, but i didn't hear reasonable answer. so many times i called to technician and he said we don't have wireless router. in this 2 months that i'm living in hyderabad i found that, nobody in india is responsible for anythings, and i regret that, when my freind told me take internet from AIRTEL, i didn't accept. i ask from indian persons, if anybody knows what can i do, kindly contact me [protected]@yahoo.com

This is to draw your attention towards the pathetic service provided by your organization. Please find below the pain and harassment which I have undergone by taking your broadband service -



I stay at Naraina Vihar, New Delhi. On 11th April, one of your sales executive by the name of Pushkar ([protected]) visited my place and he offered me the new broadband service launched by Tikona. He was able to convince me and I agreed to buy the connection. The sales executive took my details and along with it he took a cheque of Rs.500.00 for installation. He committed that by 12th April the connection would be installed at my residence. However, the same did not happen, I called up the sales executive and he asked me to call up the customer care. I called up the customer care and they promised that with in 24 hrs, this would be resolved. I waited for 72 hours no one turned up, I again called up the customer care and they again assured me that the connection would now be installed in next 24 hours. Even after several follow ups the connection finally got installed after 18 days when I asked your customer care to refund my cheque.



After the connection was installed, I thought that my plight is now over and I would be able to now use the broadband service. However, to my horror I realized that the engineers that had fitted the connection did not have the password and the same would be delivered through the sms. I called up the customer care after 48 hrs of installation and they committed that with in next 24 hours. I would receive the password through sms. From that day till today i.e. 15th May I have been given fake commitments by your customer care several times. The last conversation which I had with your customer care department was on 13th May where I requested to be transferred to a supervisor however I was put on hold for more than 15 min twice and the call was then disconnected. I tried the 3rd time and I managed to speak to a supervisor by the name of Mr. Deshmukh who assured me that he would escalate the matter and I would receive the password by 14th may 11am or else he would call back.



Today is 15th May and more than 30 days have passed when I had applied for the connection and still I am unable to use the services. You have already charged me Rs.500 and have caused mental and physical harassment. As a customer I am feeling helpless and cheated so finally I am sending this email hoping that there might be some one responsible in this organization who could hear my plight.



I want my money to be refunded with interest as I am planning to move to Airtel broadband and I am marking a copy of this mail to the consumer court so that the suitable action can be taken against such a fraud organization.

I am tikona broad band user and i would like to share my experience.
TIKONA BROAD BAND SERVICE IS PATHETIC, AWFUL.
People first send the bill and then disconnect the service (broad band connection)
Had been to Tikona Office spoke to N number of people, assured all false promises but nothing works

If wind blows or even if it drizzles I lose the connection. I managed for a while, paid their bills even though the bill was never sent or received.
Walked up to their door steps explained, the service was active for a week. One of the Tikona officials asked me to ignore the bill (which was sent by SMS) and now they have disconnected the connection.

However, I still liked their practice of first disconnecting the connection and then sending the bill.

I have taken a conection fom tikona and payed them a chck o installation. my intallation was due on saturday but it has been 5 days and connection is not yet installed. even the amount has been withdrawn from my account. ANd evn if I am calling the person responsible he is disconecting my call evrytime.

hey, so sad...
here is my story...i've been waiting from the past 1 month... sales man took 500 r.s for installation charges by assuring that i would get the connection in 1 day...
After calling so many times, one guy came n installed the device that too after 4 days...

The real problem starts here...they seems to have a problem with their server..whenever i tried to login an error comes up as authentication login error...for the last 1 month, i've spoken to all the techs/officers for more than 100 times but none of them were able to solve the problem. Now i'm in the middle of nowhere..
I don't know what to do now, they r not ready to cancel/disconnet the service either...who will help me now?

I waited for 8 days no one turned up, I again called up the customer care and they again assured me that the connection would now be installed in next 2 days. today its 6th October n i didnt get any call from ur executive n also customer care just tell me wat u want i[censored] dnt want to give connection den get beck my money of 500 rupees within 72 hours.

i had applied for a tikona connection on 18th dec 2011 and made the required payment via internet banking on the same day...and i was given an assurance that the connection would be made within the next 3 working days...
it has been almost two weeks now...
despite the repeated reminders via e-mail, there has been no communication from your end...
even the representative Mr. Sandeep Sharma ([protected]) who had approached for the connection and made the assurance is not responding to the phone calls...
very very astonished to see such a pathetic service provider these days...
it is therefore requested to cancel my application as i would be turning to some other service provider and refund my deposit at the earliest..
definitely i will be lodging a FIR in my local police station and reporting to the consumer forum FOR SURE...

why government is approving such company in the market
when ever a technician come does the test in speedtest.tikona.in
why not www.speedtest.net
which is used to test the speed world wide

Reports:

speedtest.tikona.in = Speed is 3.2 Mbps of 4 Mbps Plan
Speedtest.net = Speed is 1.1 Mbps of 4 Mbps Plan

Technician shows
speedtest.tikona.in and says you are getting speed as per your plan

The Biggest cheaters of millenium
They don't have any bandwidth to server customer, just cheating is their hobby

I just want to share my feedback about Tikona support. I am always getting a good support from Tikona engineers. I talked with your engineer "Vikram Kale" who was very much interested to address my queries. He was good in explaining everything and he has good passion to resolve customer's problems. He was very polite in talking and interested to know my exact problem. Then he provided the right answers to my queries. Very good positive approach. I am very happy about the response which I received from him.

I can completely understand that, customer handling is very challenging type of work. You cannot satisfy every customer every time and those unsatisfied customers will be making big complaints. Satisfied customers will rarely send their feedback. The one very positive difference which I can notice between Tikona support and other company's support (e.g.- Nokia, HP support) is that, Tikona engineers are always very polite, interested to know customer's problem, Tikona engineers are not already frustrated like other company's support engineers and their technical knowledge level is very high.

Thank you for providing very good support to me.

long back i disconnect my tikona connect, and i paid full amount, now also they torching me like any thing...and they send billing mail every month and continuous calling also...
