Hi, I have expereinced a similar problem with a canon 550D. Price 35k I was searching their site and randomly placed the order which was not clear in the site. When contacted them to cancel the order, they got back saying they will default me to the consumer, Their exact reply was Dear Sir: Thank you for the Order. Kindly note that orders once placed cannot be cancelled or deleted from the system. in case of non-payment for the Order within 10 days, the account details are forwarded to the Credit Rating agencies for listing the buyer as a payment defaulter and a copy sent to Mumbai Consumer Court for a hearing. You can make your payment within 10 days from today to avoid any inconvenience. Thank you for shopping with us. Soon after that they said bajaj allaince would take care of my EMI and after a few days they said my EMI option is not accepted and i have to pay the full amount (Kindly note i had paid 30% of my money by that time.) soon then i paid the full money as i needed the camera badly. I had ordered for the one with a lens. But they shipped me very late (saying the rains in Mumbai is doing this). When opened they didnt send me the case or the lens. SOme 10K worth things were not found. When contacted today, the whole day i was being insulted and put to lot of trouble. Every mistake i find in the site saying htey r wrong, they reply saying there is no such thing. They are now threatening me - Dear Sir: Kindly note that we haven't opened any case for your complaint and will not proceed further till there is Consumer Court involved as per your complaint made by you at your own free will. We have mentioned the case below. ""I am affected by them too. I was not provided the lens only but they had said they will do it so. I guess we all will unite and fight together. What do u say guys? My fb link is http://www.facebook.com/kannan.vikas.g Please frnd me. I am really frustrated. Please dont buy from them" " You are advised to seek the necessary solution from the online portals for your complaint. We will only proceed further once the online Consumer Court provides a feasible and practical solution. Kindly inform us only after you have received any solution from them and the same is submitted to us in writing. Thanking you for shopping with us. I wanted a pro video camcorder (SONY FX 1000) I
had been looking for this models for months and
finally bumped into this site called TITLUS DOT
COM and I found their price really great
(155, 990/-) and so called them up to confirm
the same. This guy Osmond Pereira very politely
said its available for the same price and I was
also offered an EMI option with Bajaj Finance.
After I sent them 30% down payment (Rs.
46, 797/-) they informed me that Bajaj Finance
has not approved the finance and so I will have
to pay them the entire sum.Obviously I was not
ready with such a big amount and somehow the
same day I stumbled upon the feedback you guys
have put in online (Thank you Mr Sunil Chauhan)
I realised that I am trapped. The options they
gave was either to cancel the order or pay the
entire amount. However, cancellation of the
order will attract a deduction of a major
amount. The following is what they sent
me...
"All Online Sales Orders placed
on Titlus.com are Final. Requests for Order
Cancellations are only entertained if the same
are placed in writing within 5 days of
placement of order or receipt of payment by
Titlus.com whichever is earlier. All Order
cancellations are subject to a deduction of
order processing fee of 5% of the invoice
amount plus deduction of a order cancellation
fee of 3% of the invoice amount. An additional
10.3% service tax is applicable to the total
deduction amount. Additionally any deductions
made by the bank as payment processing fees are
also deducted from the refund amount.
Additionally, orders cancelled after dispatch
from our warehouse are subject to a handling &
shipment fee of 10% of the invoice amount in
addition to the order processing fee and order
cancellation fee. Titlus.com will duly refund
the entire payment minus the above charges back
to the customer within 1-2 business days of
receipt of a written cancellation request from
the customer provided the above conditions are
met."
As I realised that I am completely stuck,
I asked them to cancel my order. They deducted
some 9.5K and sent me back the rest of the
money. However, the funny thing is the money
got transferred from one Abhijit Madhukar
Gatade. When I enquired, they said he is a
director with the company and transferred the
refund from his personal a/c so that its
faster. I cant believe that because you can
never have employees giving refunds on behalf
of the companies they work for (especially when
they claim to be some big international
company)
I only thank all the people who have
put in their feedback on so many sites online
and because of you all I only lost 9.5k
(surprisingly I never saw a single feedback
while I ordered...only to see them after a
few day of putting in the order)...who knows
otherwise I would have been duped of the entire
1.6 lac knowing now what kind of rubbish
products they have.
Bottomline is guys never
even think of buying from them. They are
cheaters. I am planning to put in police
complaints...lets see if anything works out.
BTW their Mumbai address only says MIDC
andheri...so thats completely fictitious.
Beware!

This guy is running the same scam as cronora dot in.
The listed address is fake. There is just one guy running the scam. He uses a voice modulator (which turned off while he was talking to me) to make it seem like there are multiple people.
The Mumbai address listed is fake, there is no landline number provided. The whole operation is a well managed scam. He even has fake reviews posted on Mouthshut (copied from Amazon)

Their payment option was, 30% down payment and rest as emi. Once you pay, they will reply after some time saying Bajaj rejected your loan, and according to titlus rules, you must pay full amount to get the product, until then the 30% is forfeited. There is no proof for this. They wont sent any docs from Bajaj or wont forward any emails from them.
Then the product. An unsealed box, the body was 9 shots old. lens is slightly damaged, and not the one that is supposed to be in the box. i.e the lens serial number on the box and on the lens is different. No warranty card for lens, missing freebies (4gb sd card + dslr bag), no mention of any product number on invoice and mismatching lens as mentioned on invoice.
The outer cover of courier was intact, hence i signed the courier docket. When informed about these problem to their customer care, they kept on reciting they sent only sealed boxes. and no one sign the courier docket if the mentioned problems were there. I don't know in which world courier person will take responsibility for the contained item. They have done their job, they delivered me a package intact and sturdy. But the Nikon box inside was not in same condition. And its not the problem of courier people. More over, the courier person called me to a junction near to my house to deliver the product. He didn't even ask for any id proof. I was lucky enough, that nobody else, just walked to him signed and took the product. That is how I got my package.
After continuously bugging them they asked me to provide evidence as photos. It took 5 days for me to make them ask this. I send these(http://www.mediafire.com/?sentuo551mik8). They said, the product images clearly shows a sealed box. Please check the images and decide yourself.
They never said about a word about their invoice or any thing other than the seal. That too they just kept on claiming, never they tried to substantiate. They even said, the photos were taken using the same camera i sent them. If they had checked the properties of the file, it would have said them, its a panasonic camera. Also little commonsense, would have told them, you cant take photo of the camera and lens using the same camera.
I have uploaded here(http://www.mediafire.com/titlus) all the email conversation, evidence, and my experience with them.
