[Resolved]  Vodafone — Harassment

Dear sir,
I am Subhadip Chakraborty, a Ph.D. student in Jadavpur. Recently I have purchased one 3G compatible mobile to get the internet facility from my Vodafone connection. Before that I had a mobile, only for calling and messaging facility. After purchasing the new phone, I activated the internet facility by recharging Rs.98-/ as applicable. I purchased the new mobile set on 27th Feb, 2012 and on the same I recharged for internet facility with Rs.98-/.
The problem is , I have yet not got any internet connection. Then I went to Vodafone store at South City Mall. They told me to upgrade my connection. I did it, but no internet facility. Then I called vodafone customer care 111, [protected] two times. Every time they are saying, We are doing our best. But no internet facility. I am frustated and annoyed regarding this kind of facility from vodafone as this is very old connection (2006, July).

Please help me. what should I do?

Vodafone — harassing messages

i m receiving harrasing msgs on my cell phone frm REDIFFBOL... the guy/girl r writing bad and vulgur msgs abt me and my family...and i receive this msg every day or alternate day...pls tel me hw to search his name and address and who is he...

I was a vodafone corporate customer in India till Nov 08. I then moved to UK and i did not know about any outstanding balance on my card. This morning, one Mr. Kalyan from Vodafone (no : called up my parents and spoke to them as if he is my friend from my previous company. By begging and pleading to my parents, he gets my UK contact number and calls me at 12:30 Indian time. He says that there is a pending balance in my account of 1390 Rs which i have to pay by evening 4 PM else my name will be handed over to the Bangalore police. In addition, he asks for my card details so that he can take the payment from my account!!!

If they knew how to call my paents, they could have easily forwarded my bill to my home address which my parents would have been more than happy to pay.

I am surprised to see such crooks in the legal department of a company!!!

My name is Ranjit Chandra ,i am working in a reputed IT company as an engineer in PUNE, from last 4 days i am receiving call from VODAFONE CARE using BAD and ROUGH language and Harassing me since a person named MR.SUMAN.K who is my office friend from DELHI using your service and and i am not in touch with my friend from past 3 months as he is not in delhi and due to some bill issue your people Harassing me and telling me they will recover bill from me , they keep on calling me from following numbers-[protected](PREETI) [protected](AMIT) . This is regarding vodafone harassing there consumer's offering them fake plans which are not practical.I have a vodafone connection ,number [protected] in my name.One month back i have taken a new plan 199 which they told me this plan has 20,000 sms free.then after 3 days when i started my messages there harassment starts, sending me sms's saying your vodafone mobile phone usage of rs.....is reaching credit limit.we request for an interim payment for uninterrupted services. After 1 day they stopped my outgoing .then i spoke to one of their customer care executive and he said the same langauge to pay the interim amount if i want to start out going again.I had no option left because my business gets affected.so i deposited some amount.After every 4 days they started sending me same message saying interim payment.Then they stopped my services again.I called up once again to there customer care executive.to know why they doing so? they keep on harassing me.how my credit limit crossed? they told me that what ever messages i am sending they are charging me @ 50 paisa.i shocked to hear that.they told me that this is the process of our billing.that we charge you 50 paisa before the billing.once your invoice been made we give u the discount as per plan.i got confused and the very same day i got another message saying your bill for march of rs.....due on ....date,in this bill they had given me the discounts.then the very next day i paid the balance amount(i had paid them the interim amount-there bill amount=balance amount).the very next day they sent me the same message again regarding interim payment as i got there exceeded credit limit messages again and again.now today they stopped my outgoing servies once again.i called up the customer care executive rashmi.i made her understand that i have a plan off 199 which has 20,000 sms free.how my credit limits exceeded.she again told me that please make your payments if i want to continue my outgoing.she told me all your sms cost you @ 50 paisa before billing.then i told her that how i will be able to avail such scheme.in this case if i sms 20000 (which is free as per plan) i have to make interim payment again and again as per there process and then she kept phone on blank.i waited for her response but she didn't turn up....then again i called up another women executive did the same thing to me.they already charged me advance plan 199 in my previous bill.this is the regular harassment for me.i can't change my number because my business gets affected.can't take these kind of harassment any more.please help me.

Vodafone — Harassment by sending multiple messages

I am using this connection from the past 2and 1/2 years still I would be happy to disable Vodafone connection.
I am receiving daily 5 to 10 messages from Vodafone,
I send a mail for them regarding this (DO NOT DISTURB)
This is not simple issue for as my important personal messages has no space to fit in.

I know some promotional activities are OK, but I can't bear this any more.
I am switching to Air tel.
Coz they respond better.

Even though I have complained earlier about harassing calls I would again reiterate that action has to be taken against the woman who repeatedly made calls when I had been on roaming in Himachal Pradesh and other areas where Vodafone had accessible range. Why do you have to question your customer where he is travelling? Why do you have to question your customer when he will come back home? What do you receive by doing this? This is a horrible experience which I never had with any other service provider.

Constant calls on roaming made me lose money. It was in 2008 June and July. The last call I received was in July. This is not how you respect your customers by calling them constantly and questioning their whereabouts. Are you an investigation team? If you had any issues with the customer or any doubts you should have refused the connection immediately. This is nothing but humiliation. The services of Hutch started deteriorating and it has further deteriorated to third class finally with Vodafone taking over.
Vodafone continues to bill me for my numbers for which I had put a request for disconnection on 30Jan11.
Inspite of writing to them a zillion times & calling them a hundred times, they continue to harass me & bill me.
Im not sure if the authorities at Vodafone are remotely concerned about what is exactly happening with their customers... Im worried if they even CARE!!
Now they are claiming that I had given them the approval to continue my numbers... & hence they are billing me!!! This is nuthing but utter LIES... I had switched to another service provider before I surrendered my 2 numbers & hence they havent been in use. I hope someone responsible frm Vodafone reads this & takes action against their lousy billing & support centre.

actually i need to change my network through MPT(mobile number portability) so i send the message to 1900 but i didnt get the message from that services because of vodafone network blocked that services and that they barred the incoming message services to my number and also they barred incoming and out going calls because of same reason they are doing harashement like suspending mobile services

My wife paid the July bill by calling the Vodafone representative at my place in the amount of Rs. 920 (Bill Receipt attached). however, Vodafone is not able to trace this payment at their end, maybe the collector never submitted the amount to Vodafone. Despite sending the Scanned copy of the receipt multiple times they are still not able to resolve the issue at their end. We even called the Vodafone people at 111 and everytime got to speak with a different person and explaining him/her the situation again & again and when asked if I can speak with the supervisor or some superior person they make false excuses stating the supervisor is busy or the person is not picking the phone.
Now today we received an email stating that "We would like to inform you that as per our records Vodafone mobile number [protected] is suspended due to non payment dated 21/08/11. As per our records 1622.66 amount due on your Vodafone mobile number [protected]. Kindly clear the same to use the Vodafone service uninterruptedly."
We have clearly mentioned to first clear the July due in their system and then only the remaining amount will be paid.
I hereby would like to file in a case of harrasment & negligence against Vodafone India

I had taken a Vodafone postpaid connection number [protected] in march from the first bill they started charging me 150 as rental as per the marketing person it was clearly stated that 99 was the rental but again in april they sent me the 57 rs i am confused with this matter after that i called vodafone call center for the complain but they told i have to go to vodafone gallery there i went they told me we can't help it i have tried number of times with the call center they told bluntly they can't help me now i am getting calls from recovery department and they threatening me to pay 1275 rs amount which not acceptable i have already discontinued the number by going to vodafone gallery.IT IS MENTAL TORTURE TO ME.
Please address the same to Nodal officer of Appelete office of Vodafone.. they will look into the matter. You will get teh details from Vodafone Website.
Vodafone sucks !!! even for a new post paid connection they harras you so much!
Its been more than 5 days now and they have not activated my SIM...In 5 days I have visited the office 5 times...they just dont value customers time...bloody loosers!!!

Vodafone should be sued and burdened with all the more penalty and interest charges!!!

I give up and would never recommend any one to take this connection!

Loosers...you can never make it big this way!
