[Resolved]  Vodafone — poor service

dear sir
i m a tv jurnalist and user of vodaphone since three years
but accidentlay i have loss my old number because i was a postpaid user
and that time i was out of city so i have got i new pripaid sim from lucknow city but
sicnce 10 days that outgoing service is barred .i have phoned many time the retailer
whose give me the new sim aftenr ten days he have gave me a number [protected]. i have called this person but
this man is talking very ruadly and say that he cant do anything he have also give a new number that is [protected]
but this number is switch off. i m totally disappointed with voda phon service'

I have purchased a Vodaphone prepaid sim a week back, submitted the proof of my residence but still my connection has not yet activated and i cannot make any calls nor receive. If you receive such service paying money in exchange then it is worth switching to other operators. There is no prompt service.

I understand nothing is going to happen on this so called complaint forum but just thought of checking whether it also works or not ..i am sure it does not.
Reliance Mobile reduced my prepaid amount 2 times by sending news SMS to my mobile without my permission & after complaining to Relience webworld they did not returned the amount back.

Vodafone — Scrap network

I am Balakrishna K P. I am using this Bull vodafone from past 1 year.I am currently staying in Vijay nagar, Bangalore-79 which is referred to as heart of the city. My problem is when i go inside my house i don't get any signal and my phone is like dead. Sometimes even outside my house calls get disconnected. This is really scarppy service. I have decided to change my service provider(Don't have patience anymore ).
Cannot send sms for the past one week, call up the customer care service vodafone but they couldn't solve the problem instead blame on the handset and message setting (my handset is in good condition)worst they hang up the phone on the customer.customer care is to undersand the problem of the customer and provide an input to solve the problem.I blame the network service which is very poor, sometime cannot even find connection in the heart of the city-very disappointed customer [protected].

Am trying to call the customer care but am unable to reach the customer care in time . Vodafone service is always shows not reachable or network busy when ever we call the opposite party . Now finally it came to customer care . you are having the facility to pay the bill online and if same happens again in last day to make the payment we wont be able to pay the amount in time, and you will charge the amout of 100 in next bill for us . Why should we have bare the charge for the poor service rendered by your side . When we are trying to reach customer care its not reachable, we people are calling only to know about your product and service only, not for time pass . Even if it got connected it takes 3 minutes to connect to Executive which leads to more frustration to the caller . Kindly look in to the mail, and try to solve the problem rather than taking the money from us .
I have a prepaid Vodafone number [protected]. For the past 10 days I am not getting the call charge detail (which is by default) after each of the call that I make. Hnce there is no clue to the balance amount in my account. This problem was reported to the Customer care centre in Nasik one week back. I was promised the corrective action in 48hrs. But even after a week this problem has not been attended. Today when I met the Customer care centre; they expressed inability to help me out in this matter. I do not know how to get this service reinstatd for my account.
Hi, My name is Punit Sahay from Bangalore my vodafone number is [protected]. Vodafone provides poor service to customer. I have exprienced it. I have made a complaint regarding my call in the month of October 2008 that I was not able to make call to my parents number due to network problem.

Whenever I make call to [protected], I get the message that this number is not in use or number error however if I make call from other service provider, there is no problem at all.

I requested Vodafone that please investigate about this issue however there is same response that they can not do anything because number is not in use however its not correct.

I tried with some few other Vodafone number however no one is able to make call to my parents number through Vodafone network.

So I can conclude that Vodafone Service is scrap. I wasted my lots of time while talking to Vodafone executive.

Hutch was good...VODAFONE IS WORST.

whan i called custumer care on the same day[protected] wednesday at around 10.pm)about the said matter, they said we cant do any thing about and cut the line.the one of them also said that your n. is barred due to in sufficient documents. i asked how it is possible when i am using this service from one year . I called three times, all in vein.
it was some important information which i had sent.i lost a lot due to that.
i want to book the complaint againest that persons whachn cut my line when i was calling.
please look into the matter personally. also remember consumers are your gods and you are only there to provide service to us.

i have a vodafone number and for past one month i am facing the network problem in the office area where i work.i have lodged the complaint with vodafone authorities. they say that it would take furhter 15-20 days for tower repair. meaning i would have to face the inconvinience of calling up the customer ( there by increasing my landline bill) whenever they call to me on my mobile. more over the road is under repair for which landline is having crackling noise and cross connection ( complaint lodged with MTNL) so my business would suffer for all this days. vodafone would charge me regular monthy bill eventhough the repair would take 20 days. it is totally unjust. i hold 3 number of vodfone for my business. i think they dont need me as customer.
I have taken 2sim cards from vodafone agent and he taken Rs.600 advance and he given receipt and for verifeicatation time I was not there at my house Once again
I asked to come again but nobody was visited and not called also simply they are disconecting my 2lines and I visited to vodafone store again thyes said we will send person to again for verification with in a week but no body was visited. Again I was visited to vodafone store I requisted to cancelled 2connections I asked mony back they said after 15days we will give a cheque.
After 15days I visited again they said after 40 days we will give you.after 40days again I visited one more
employee said actually procedure we are giving 60days after cancell the sim card again visited again they said after 90days after 90days I visited to Vodafone store we will sending mail to our sales corp pepole we will sending your mony to your address but till now I am not received amount.I was paid Rs.300 for 2sim cards total Rs.600.they giving very poor service and no prosidure no clarity.

I([protected]) have been complaining from 12/04/2009 to vodafone custumer care stating that I am not able to call my parents that is a land line of Orissa phone no is[protected] soro std code).Since 1 & half month i have been facing this problem that whenever i call this number its showing a wrong no or number is not in use.But till date the problem not been rectified, your custumer care people telling withen 24 hours it will be shorted out since 1& half month, but nothing happening.
please look into the matter other wise i have to change the server to AIR TEL OR BSNL.Because when i call from any other server call is going.

Iam an vodafone custemer .According to the known bond, in IDEA tower there should be signal of vodafone also .But there is no such facility in our region .So please kindly take action reguarding this problem.

I hope soon we will get proper vodafone service, as soon as possible.

Customer service over the phone is not up to the mark here in India...
Any problems i would suggest you walk in to your local vodafone office and sort it out with the manager directly.That should help Faster./
I took a connection from vodafone Trivandrum. The Executive told me if the connection should not go negative, first, the verification should be cleared. so i waited for 4 days for the verification process and 2 days for Activation process from the date of verification. Even since the verification was done before the activation process my connection was cut Why?? Is this the right service given to a customer. this was expected from vodafone Essar. My vodafone number is [protected]. Clear it to the maximum or return back my amount...
