[Resolved]  Vodafone — Cheating customers

I am shocked and deeply disappointed by the policy of Vodafone and its dealers/subsidiaries. I am new to Bangalore and have recently taken a Vodafone prepaid connection for 333 scheme from "The Mobile Store" in Bannerghata road, opp Mantri Elite building, Bangalore 76.

I went there yesterday and asked for Rs. 200/- talktime. Then I got SMS saying that "Processing request for a refill of INR 200.0 Transaction ID KK089/208689. Please pay to retailer". Then I got SMS saying that my account has been refilled successfully by INR 47.89. The shopekeeper was also confused or maybe was acting with malafide intentions. He is selling Vodafone connections and is in dark about your policies or has intentionally mislead me.

I called Vodafone care and the customer care associate (Shweta Deshpande) first said that it will come after 24hrs and then later said that the remaining money has been taken as service and processing fees. I called up three times in the customer care number and got different reasons. When I requested to talk to the manager in charge they kept me on hold for half an hour. All were ignorant of the fact why I got Rs. 47.89 when I paid Rs.200/-.

Later I came to know that if we recharge with Rs.150/- we get full talktime. Going by that logic we should at least get Rs.150/- if we recharge with any amount greater than that.
You have not educated your dealers/subsidaries selling your products and have neither educated your customers. There was no pamphlet or any other tariff plan given to me when I took the connection.

I wish to register my complaint with the strongest possible way. This practise of your company is highly illegal and unethical. If Rs. 200/- is not a valid amount then why do you allow your system to accept it. I request you to return my money or full recharge amount. I have never expected such "service" from an international company. If not then I wish to complaint against Vodafone to TRAI.

Every month i use to go for a recharge voucher worth Rs.45 for which local sms are charged 10 paise for a month.On May the 13 the validity of the voucher expired & without informing me they automatically activited a service for which 2 Rs daily are deducted from my account.On May the 19 i called the customer care centre the 1 CCE put me on a long hold for which i have to call again the 2 CCE could not give a valid reason for the activition of the service.i requested her to give me the procedure for the deactivition of the service.She told me to send a sms sms no to 111 again i asked for the complain no for which she replied the no will come automatically via a sms i thanked her & disconnected.When i sms to my surprise i got the replied as wrong keyword.Again for the 3 time when i tried to call my no is blocked.So i am thinking to file a case in the consumer court.

Vodafone — no amount credited on pre-paid account recharge worth 150 rupees

i recharged my vodaphone pre paid account yesterday for 150 rupees.then I got the message instructiing to pay to the retailer with the transaction id as kk[protected].
But I didnt get my account any amount credited to my account.
When i called the customer care to 111 the representative Ms.Priya told that i need to physically go to their store at Koramangala and show the message instructing to pay to the retailer to them as in their database i haventbn done any recharge.
I cannot do that as i am working .
I asked her to give the transaction id of the recharge i did .But she told it is of of no use.
Then i even suggested to forward the message to any of the number they suggest as the proof, but she refused to entertain that.
She seemed to be helpless.
The customer care department of vodafone seems to be there to tell the addredd of their stores for the customers to search and find and somehow physically go there to addredd the issue.
It seems that i live in the old primitive world.
We know about registering, processing and resolving it by contacting the customer care.
they offer to do that but pretends to be ignorant of such options.
I felt humiliated, dissappointed of loosing 150 rupees as it seems and unnecessary strss and strain associated with.

If any responsible person from vodafone see this, pls do help to retail the prestige and credibility of your organization.

Vodafone — cheating customer

they informed me of some other plan and are charging me for some other plan. they are not ready to refund my money or compensate my bill. i have tried their customer care executives but they dont respond properly neither does the store
Hiiii in ref.to the complaint no..[protected] i hav spoken to zafar and pawan(supv.) and it's related to a tarriff voutcher of 75Rs. which had to lower my calls to all cell and landline to 50paisa but the service hasent been activated and i'v spoken to 4exec.
Then on contacting the dealer he told me dat a scheem of 1Rs to all STD calls is already given free for a month and dats why the new local 50paisa (75Rs)voutcher s not working.
Solution -- he has put a new voutcher of 50Rs and refunded the balance now I HOPE DAT THE SCHEEME ON ALL LOCAL CALLS 50PAISA WL B ACTIVATED IN 4 HOURS CARD NO.[protected] WHICH HAS BEEN RECHARGED ON 18/11/08 TIME 5.00PM
Hopin dat the the scheeme s activated asap

Even I faced almost exactly the same issue while recharging my Mom's cell with Rs 150 prepaid amount.
Over and above I was told that they can't do anything as their systems are running slow.

I think they keep on accumulating these 150 Rs and later pay them for charity.

Don't take it's product and services...

After submitting address proof and ID proof my outgoing is still blocked..
I called on CC and lady was saying it's technical problem..

I am working in a corporate company. i have an issue regarding the recharges made by Vodafone think this may be a small issue but its effecting each and every customer of Vodafone have an issue i.e daily am getting an promotional messages regarding recharge offer for Rs 204 where you can get talk time of 36, 000 secs but these people have credited only 26, 000 secs when i called to customer care these people are giving me wrong suggestions and telling me to wait for 24 hrs for remaining balance. i have called to these 4 time but no response. My REQUEST NO# [protected]. i talked to the last representative whose name is Mr.Paul. I need justice.
I have been using Vodafone since atleast last 6 years. I had bought a new Samsung mobile phone with which I was eligible to get Vodafone 3g offer of 2gb for 2 months free but apparently in 1st month of offer I got exhausted with my free 2gb units before 2 days of completion of 1 month so I jst did a minimum recharge of 2g because I knew that after 2 days I would get one more month's free 2gb of 3g subscription and I require internet in the phone all the time so I did the minimum recharge. But after recharging of minimum 2g recharge I got a message from the company that I have been unsubscribed from the offer. When called up customer care they are not at all helpful. They are not ready to give me my offer back and giving me all irrelevant excuses. I feel really cheated. Kindly help me in resolving this issue at the earliest.
