[Resolved]  Vodafone — Inflated bills, Poor service, Bad behavior and Pathetic response

My Name is Zakir Hussain and using two Vodafone mobile connections. On my cell # [protected], I was using Rs 98/- 2G Rs. 98/- Internet plan. In the month of July I was having issues with the internet related setting and was not able to use internet properly. Approached Vodafone's helpdesk on July 14,2013 and the experience with the representative was horrible. Ref# SR[protected]. Problem was not resolved. On July 16, called again the help desk and this time representative surpassed the first one and his behaviour was non cooperative and didn't got resolution to the problem which I was facing. In anger I asked to that guy to deactivate my internet plan and he readily put the request.
On July 18, 2013 post coming to know that my internet plan request for de-activation is under process, I asked to rep on 198 help desk to reinitiate or re activate 2g Rs 98 plan on my cell. Same time as requested by the representative sent an request on Corporatecare.[protected]@vodafone.com stating that re initiate or re activate RS 98 2 G internet plan on my cell # [protected].
However that request was not processed and now I am getting calls to pay my inflated bill of Rs. 6476.05/- for the month of July'13 and unbilled amount of Rs 1240 for the month of Aug'13.
Approached Vodafone through customer care mailbox and they guys are also trying to justify the billed amount instead of getting that bill corrected and not answering that why my request sent on July 18 was not processed.
I am not getting support from Vodafone reps and they are not providing me any details about their seniors so that I can approach them and get that fixed.

Vodafone Mobile Services — Problem in Services and response

Sir,

I have taken the Vodafone No [protected]. Previously it was a prepaid No but i got it migrated to Postpaid. There was a delay in this.

Further to this, while my negotiation with Vodafone, I have been confirmed that i am not supposed to pay ' Clip Charges' but now in my bills they are charging clip charges. After several mails and calls, no one is responding to it.

I have the copies of mails where the Vodafone person confirmed me about the waiver of Clip charges and further i have mails to Vodafone to which no one is responding at all.

Further to this, they also stopped the outgoing services for 3 days. which create lots of problem for me.

Sir, I seek your intervention and support for this. It is simply a harrasment of the consumer.

Vodafone — Bad resopnse from the customer care

Vodafone has removed my customer care access saying i have tried more that 4 times a day.i have registered so many complaints in the vodafone shop still they are not giving the access to make call to the vodafone customer care.
The customer care response is sometimes unacceptable.

I am a user of your vodafone for long time using service 49 as advance rental plan. My cell no. is [protected]. As the TREI has slashed the call rate, but you are still charging at @ 1.75 pm. this too costly. The call rate should be slashed on my cell.

Vodafone — Vodafone is not good

Sir, I'm using Vodafone for the past 4 years. When it was hutch the customer service is good. After I become Vodafone its Customer service has become worst. Also they are cheating customers by activating Caller tunes of their own.

Hi,

This with regards to my Vodafone number [protected].
After the initial check by the Vodafone executive, I was given a credit limit of Rs.2000. An SMS was sent to me to that effect by the company.

Its been less than a month and I have just reached Rs.1200 on my bill.
Vodafone has cut off my out-going calls and messages.

After repeated calls to their service centre, I was able to get through to one of their operators.
I explained to him my problem and he kept on insisting that my credit limit was Rs.900.
After a few minutes of discussion, he claimed that I had requested them to reduce my credit limit to Rs.900.

This explanation I found to be completely illogical. It came across as made up to cover their mistake.
The solution that this guy then gives is to send in a request to increase the credit limit which will take effect only after 3 days.
This means, I have to go without making any calls for the next 3 days. Cant accept this logic.

In such a situation, instead of helping me out, the operator took a rude stance and banged the phone.
What do I do now? How do I go about with this situation?
The only option in front of me now, is to cancel my connection...

I have subscribed for vodafone mehfil-timepass and i am not getting any alerts.due to this i had to deactivate the service.vodafone is such a named brand but due to all this i have started disliking vodafone. i am getting no help by calling on [protected] or 140 .i have no number through which i contact directly to vodafone care executive.for every STUPID thing you all take 30 Rs which is ridiculous because the customer has subscribed for something and is getting no help.seriously vodafone is getting worst day by day.if anyone read this hope to get help in future.how can a customer deactivate mci on his/her mobile.

I applied for mobile number on 18-8-09. They gave me number [protected] and sim card. I was out of station for one week. When i came back and found out that number has been given to somebody else named Mr T aggarwal( something like that). And I went to Vodafone store Ansal plaza Delhi. They gave me another number([protected]) and sim and cancelled the previous number. Next day I received call from vodafone officer, named Lalit saying that they have trouble activating this number( Because this number was assigned to different person before it was assigned to me in postpaid service) and he will assign me another number ([protected]). I agreed to it. Now I am waiting for sim card for this number for 2 days.
And customer care --they have no clue of anything. They will put you on hold and will never come back. Every person will give you different information.

Hi Vodafone,

Subject: illicit and abusing conversation by Vodafone customer care executives.

I am a Noida based post-paid customer (number [protected]) and have faced problem regarding illicit and improper conversation from the customer care executive of Vodafone. I was talking to them regarding my bill payment and outgoing call activation, while the talk they used abusing language. And they were low on providing any solution to me from last one month.

Time: It was between 8:00pm to 10:00pm
Executive Name: Akhand Pratap (Akhand Pratap also included his manager in this conversation and there were few more executives).

I was a very loyal customer of Vodafone from last 3-4 years but now I do not want to use this network any-more.

This is a very shocking incident which has upset me a lot. I never wanted to stop this number but for now I do not want to continue. I just wanted a better solution from the customer care executive but he did something totally opposite to the brand-image of Vodafone.

Kindly look into the issue and revert back soon.

Vodafone/Cellular services — Billing not justified

This is to bring under your kind observation that i am customer of vodafone cellular services from last 2 yr's i had called the vodafone customer care for 5 to 10 times uptil now reason being i had found errors in my billing and they don't even have enough cortesy to even respond back or mail me the detailed hard copy of this bill.I wonder how this company is managed i myself is employed in an MNC never seen such a lack of management from vodafone side.Their customer service personnels are not trained well enough to have a decent talk or pass on the issue to their superiors.Although my cell phone no. is [protected] i had been wrongly billed for the sms services which i did not make.All i ask vodafone to justify the bill is it so hard of task on their side to do that to meet upto their customer standards.

Vodafone — Poor Response

Dear Sir,
I was using Vodafone postpaid number [protected].
Due to less usage, i have requested Vodafone team to convert the same as pre-Paid, but initially they refuse to convert as pre-paid. After the several communications they take the requested, which is pending since 10/01/2010.

After submitting the request to 10/01/2010, my number is still not converted.


Therefore you are requested to look in to matter & help us.
Although my rental is in advance, in spite of that i have deposited Rs.230 in advance.
