Vodafone Prepaid Connection Sms — Absolutely no responsibility from co officials

My telephone number is [protected], and i am extremely upset at the obnoxious service your company has been providing me on this number. I got a free sms national top up for this number; you continued charging me for the sms. i went to complain at your adyar, chennai office. i was given the same bland answer of two working days to set it right: no explanation for the error. THE customer pays a price for it.....
Next day, you tell me you have debited 30 rs. from my account and that i have a negative balance: for what??? i did NOT OPT for any service. again i run to the vodafone office, throw a fit, so i get the services activated immediately.. ( SO PROMPT provided the customer creates a ruckus!!)
everything is all right for just 24 hours. since today evening, my sms is again being charged::: WHY I WONDER? so that i make a trip again to your office? what say you i start my clinic at your office there? would it be easier? I am a counsellor, who needs to be on call 24x7 since i handle very emotionally disturbed clients:: i opted for this wreteched number simply becos it was easier to go to a vodafone office: i guess one of the major mistakes. WOuld you take the moral responsiblilty if i am not able to get back to a client who is contemplating drastic measures, simply because some clerk in your office does not like the look of my face, or does not like my number??? whom do i take this up so that you do not have a virtural dharna in your office????? and stop giving me smooth pat replies???

Hi,

The Vodafone Co. is just too irresponsible....!!! When you do not pay their bill, they are sooooooo much after you, to pay bill, and they also charge you for late payment...!!! why does the case not work this way vice versa too!!!!??

In fact, the case other way round also works in THEIR FAVOR only..!!

When they are supposed to pay you back your refund, (since you have paid an amount in advance towards the bill),

they will delay your request for disconnection of the number, keep charging you monthly bills,

despite you having disconnected the number,
and this bill amount will be taken from your advance... i.e. you are not using the number, thinking it has been disconnected...

so your bills have only rentals as the billing charges and NOTHING MORE!!!!

and when you come to know of this, and respond back... asking why are you still billing? I had requested for a disconnection, by visiting the vodafone gallery myself...

they say: " ohh nooo sir, we never received any request from you in writing regarding the disconnection..!! the bill has already been generated! i'm sorry , but this amount has to be paid by you. We'll disconnect your number now, but you will not get credit for the earlier bill's rental..!! "

'WILL NOT GET CREDIT FOR THE EARLIER RENTALSSS!!!'

DESPITE THE FACT THAT THE BILL AMOUNT CONTAINED "ONLY" RENTAL CHARGES, that too because of the mistake done BY VODAFONE....!!!

It's very disappointing to know that such a big Co. like this, can do such a thing!!!

Rather than giving the amount back which is wrongly charged to the customer, along with interest for faulty action and delayed payment, they take more and more from such customers, to make up for their loss which they face when people dont pay their bill's and leave the number as it is and throw away their card!!

Is this how Vodafone works!!!!! Is this how they make their earnings!!!! by Charging the middle-class people with their hard earned money for no reason at all !!! for no service provided!!

Vodafone Postpaid SIM Card. — issuing free sim cards and then billing for non-usage.

The vodafone co. issued 3 free sim cards for 6 months and then billed us for the next billing cycle which was[protected] to[protected]. We immediately surrendered the sim cards at their churchgate gallery but did not give us any token or receipt. After 50 days, a bill of Rs11,492.41 for the period[protected] to[protected] was received by us and after that all these months we have been getting threatening calls from the co. every 10 to 15 days to pay up the bill. We are respectable senior citizens and not used to this kind of harassement and abuse and threats. all the details and xerox copies are available with us and can be sent to you. kindly take the necessary action so that this kind of harassement to anyone can be avoided in future.
