[Resolved]  Whirlpool Refrigerator — whirlpool forcefully sells faulty product

I bought brand new whirlpool refrigerator (MasterMind 260 Litre elite model) from Dass Electric Trading co.(P) Ltd, wanowrie branch pune on dated 9 March 2008 .
From the day one of delivery, I am getting ELECTRIC SHOCK from the body of lower door of this refrigerator and I complained to DASS as well as whirlpool customer care support with Complaint No: 4825.
After a day whirlpool engineer(Mansoorkar-:[protected]) visited to my place and he himself observed the electric shock and concluded with the fact that it is manufacturing defects you should replace your refrigerator.
After that i approached to DASS with this problem and had spoken to its Manager named Bhuvnesh([protected],[protected]/24) and he sent his senior engineer/manager named Riyaz[protected]/36/37) to investigate this problem but again he even could not find out any solution to this problem and so relentlessly replied with shrewdness that this is normal and low voltage electric shock that is not hazardous so bear with this but DASS AND WHIRLPOOL WILL NOT REPLACE THIS REFRIGERATOR.
Finally I again requested to DASS Manager, Bhuvnesh, as well Whirlpool service centre senior engineer name Anil Patil([protected]) to replace this defective piece of refrigerator but they abused me and even threatened me for consequences.

I am continuously calling to whirlpool call center and there some senior lady named Shifaa already aware about all this but she said she can't do anything.

Basically they all know very well this is defective piece and sold this out to customer anyhow, which they did and now they are trying to mesmerize me .

I request whirlpool senior executives to come upfront and provide me justice.

I already sent my grievance to whirlpool: [protected]@whirlpool.com l.
I would not be satisfied until and unless they don’t give me replacements and if this not done within a week I will copy and file my grievances to CONSUMER COURT as well as telecast this to CNBC Awaaz channel but i wont let them to escape up to my last RIGHTS.

Whirlpool has lost it's value completely. We have Whirlpool washing machine and service is same as complainant mentioned here.

Whirlpool Refrigerator — Demanding money in Guarantee period

We bought a Whirlpool refrigerator 2 years ago, now the Whirlpool refrigerator doesn't work any move, we called the whirlpool Customer care, they checked the refrigerator and said, "Gas need to be filled" it's a manufacturing defect, and the most shocking thing he added is, we got to pay 3000 bucks.

We still have 3 years warranty and the person who came to service is demanding 3000 rs, it is totally not fair, if it is a manufacturing defect, it is the company who has to tweak it. It's shocking that we customers have to pay for some glitch made by the company?

Whirlpool Refrigerator — Defrosting not working

To whom it concerns, I had purchased a whirlpool refrigerator model 310 carbon colour on10.10.2008. It runs smoothly upto 16 .4 12. But on 17th April, 2012 it stopped working. After my complain Whirpool sent a man calledPartha Bhattechariya who told me that due to power fluctuation it so happens. He suggested to buy a power accessary to avoid such problemHe changed the defected part & hearing his suggestion & out of faith I bought a power accessory amounting rs 970 from PENGUIN SERVICE CENTRE who appears tobe whirlpool authorised service centre..But unfortunately it runs for only 2 months. Again Mr Partha bhattachariya replaced it, which runs only for 1 day & went out of order. Now he is telling to get satisfactory result I've to buy another more powerful accessary which will costRs 1800 . I'm ready to buy but I suggested him to adjust the money from the previous purchase, whic he disagrees. Now my question to th HIGHEST AUTHORITY OF WHIRPOOL 1) I 'm a housewife, how do I know which is better option for me ? 2) Whirlpool men should know which is the best option, It is their mistake . Why should I suffer for the mistake made by them. I request to the highest authority of Whirlpool to take the matter seriously for keeping its fame intact. Whirlpool Refrigerator — Unprofessional Service

I had registered a complaint with Whirlpool customer care, here in Hyderabad, as my refrigerator stopped working. A total unexpected service was given as no one from the whirpool service center bothered to come and check the product. Finally some agents came who had no clue about what was needed to be done, He undid and then tightened some screws here and there and finally declared that there is gas probelm in the compressor.
he filled the gas and said within 2 hours the refrigerator will be back to normal but to his outstanding comments there was NO CHANGE as the refrigerator did not work. this same scenario happened for more than 10 months.

after my several calls one agent by name Ansari showed up and without even checking the refrigerator he said the compressor itself is faulty, and he will be sending his technician to replace the compressor after 2 days. 15 days passed and no one showed up unless again i had to call and bang my head off for them to come.

2 techinicians Shbeer & Pradeep finally came and checked everything in detail and found the actual probelm was not with the compressor but some
PCP box(power control box), i appreciate these two gentlemen that atleast they checked the refrigerator correctly.

They said they will bring a new one in 2 days and left, infact as i was upset i asked them to provide me the mobile number of the supervisor who's name was Mohan as they were reporting to him. i had been talking to mohan since 5 days now and everyday he promise me to send some one but he seriously never bothered to send anyone.

after some many now i am promised again that Mohan will be sending some one tomorrow first thing in the morning.

Every morning I call, I am assured that the technician will visit my home that day. I had to take half day leaves to wait for him.

This is just pathetic customer service. I would have assumed some sort of professional behavior from such a company.
Please think twice before buying a whirlpool product in Hyderabad.

This is K.Satyanarayana Raju customer of whirlpool refrigerator.We have registered complaint regarding the user sensor board on the refrigerator on 14/11/2012 and were informed that a technician would contact us and explain about the problem. Today i.e, on 15th nov, 2012 afternoon a technician visited and seen the sensor unit and told that the "auto cool led bulb" in the user sensor board has failed and the entire board should be replaced else can use as- usual according to our wish. For this simple work we were asked to pay the visiting charges.We are not informed about the visiting charges when we registered the complaint, when we questioned about this he shouted at us and simply walked away.In our presence he got a call and informed them that we are not willing to replace the board and not willing to pay the service charges and warned that a complaint would be registered and the compressor warranty would be cancelled.We were highly disappointed with his behavior with us. The product of the whirlpool was good but when the service comes the people are not responding properly we are getting different answers from different people . I question whether you people know how to interact with the customers, we were serviced in a very bad manner the technician sent by the organization behaved harshly, which we never faced.This was not the first dissatisfaction we faced we had a previous experience that we like to bring to your notice.

We purchased the refrigrator on[protected] and have a warranty period for all the parts for one year and for the compressor for 5 years. We registered a complaint in september of this year regarding compressor which is in the warranty period but were charged money for compressor, relay, oip, capacitor, drier, I.C an amount of 2000/- . At the time of enclosing the complaint we got a call from the central office, then we questioned about the bill details why we were charged an additional amount when the compressor is in the warranty period, they replied the the compressor warranty was only 4 years and not 5 years, we were misguided regarding this warranty period.

As per the "master mind refrigirators use and care guide " book in page no 23 the warranty conditions are clearly mentioned.

We want to know about the warranty period, we hope that at-least you would guide us properly and send proper service people.Hope you respond to us else we would lose hope on you.

we have purchase new 220l classic in karnadu mulki electricals, first floor on dated 02-january-2009, after one year when i check it i found not working cooling is not get properly, then i approach to dealer in udupi your attender came and inspected he told filter is blocked and gas is insuficiant, and one week later he solved the problem, then after 2 month same problem is repeated 2 times then he told he will come next day .but till date (3-dec-12) no one came to attend the problem .

three time ihave contact to dealer but all was vain .

hereby you are requested to take some urgent action to sortout my problem .

My Whirlpool refrigerator is not working from last 15 days. And there is no follow up from the service center. When ever I called up they send someone to repair the faulty part with an assurance that it will start after 2-3 hrs. When it does not start even after 12 hrs, they say, it will take 13-14 hrs and after that they say, it might take 24 hrs to start. After 3-4 days, they again change the faulty part and the same story repeats. This is happening from last 15 days . And most surprisingly, we never get call from their end .

This is pathetic and at its worst level. We are tired of it now.
