This is to inform you that my whirl pool double door refregerator was not under working condition. This has purchased during 2005 and the warranty period is over. i had approached whirlpool service centre at Mumbai and they sent their representative to my kalyan residence about one month back and get it repaired and I have given him Rs.2100/- including service charge and replaced parts price. The service persons Mobile No. is [protected] (Mohan). However, after two days again there was no cooling on the below portion of the fridge. They have not given me any receipt for the money i have given and they told me we will give you after two days. So far they have not attended my fridge again in spite of my repeated call. I am unable to buy a new one with exchange of this as they have already taken Rs.2100/- . I am asking them to give me back the money after deducting your service charge. I am in dilema. Due to this problem in our fridge two members in my family have been already admited to the hospital due to throat problem. Today I dialled one Mr.Mohan of whirlpool service centre Mob.No.[protected] he is also not picking up the firm after seeing my mobile number. I need a confirmation or any solution as we both are working people hence the use of fridge is necessary. Please look into this

I SMT SAILEE DHAKORKAR BOOKED REFRIGARATOR OF WHIRLPOOL GENIUS FROM VIAY SALESNEXT DAY I RECEIVED DELIVERY OF THAT FRIDGE BUT THE HANDLE AND DOOR CAP WAS SHAKING VERY BADLY . SO I COMPLAINT ABOUT IT TO VIJAY SALES AT MAHIM THEY SEND ANOTHER FRIDGE IN THE EVENING ON NEXT DAY. AFTER KEEPING ALL THE THINGS IN THE FRIDGE WHILE OPENING THE FRIDGE ALL THE THREE BOTTLES OF WATER FALL DOWN ON THE GROUND. ONCE AGAIN I COMPLAINT TO VIJAY SALES THEY TOLD ME TO BRING THAT CASE OF BOTTLE AND THEY WILL GIVE ME ANOTHER BOTTLE CASE. I DONT LIKE THAT REPLY.
AFTER PURCHASING THAT NEW WHIRLPOOL FRIDGE WE ARE NOT HAPPY DUE TO THIS PROBLEMS WE ARE NOT STILL CELEBRATING OUR HAPPINESS. WE GAVE OUR VIDEOCON FRIDGE WHICH WAS USED FOR 14 YEARS BUT THERE WAS NOT SINGLE COMPLAINT ABOUT THAT FRIDGE JUST FOR SHORTAGE OF PLACE WE REPLACE IT WITH YOU.

Dear Sir,Introduction about myself: I am Sreekanth Sivarathri, a resident of Chandanager, Hyderabad. My mobile number is [protected].
I bought a Whirlpool refrigerator from Sony Electronics, No. 22-86/1, BHEL X Roads, Lingampally, Hyderabad - 500019 about three months back for Rs. 13800/- (Rupees thirteen thousand eight hundred only). Since last two weeks i am observing water leakage from the back of the refrigerator. Immediately i informed the same to Whirlpool service centre and Sony electronics shop. A representatvie from Whirlpool has come to attend the problem. After seeing the problem the representative said that there is a manufacturing defect in the plastic tub on the back. The back tub has to be replaced. He further said that i need to pay for replacement which i denied and raised the issue with Sony electronics. Sony electronics owner is so arrogant in his behaviour that he not only denied my request but said that he is not bothered for courts and complaints.
Also my electricity bill has substantially increased after i started using this refrigerator. While making the purchase, I am told that the power consumption whould be around 272 units per annum which should ideally come to around 22.6 units per month. But my electricity bill has increased by Rs. 200/- per month after i started using this refrigerator. When I raised this issue with Sony electronics, he was not at bothered to attend on the issue.
I have one year warranty on the refrigerator. I am not convinced to use a piece which has manufacturing defects. Hence I request this hon'ble forrum to look into this and do justice for me by replacing the piece with a new one.
I am surprised that if this is the treatment given to gents, how about ladies. I am pretty unhappy with the retailer[Sony electronics] with the way he spoke to me. Neither his language is good nor his behaviour. Moreover he has no respect for customers, courts and law and order.
I would also request this forum to warn the retailers to talk politely and keep a cordial relatiionship with the customers.

Whirlpool Refrigerator — 4 complaints - no response
I registered my first complaint on 24th August (complaint # MB[protected]) for my non-working fridge Ice Magic 450 Elite. I was told a service engineer would contact me and attend to the problem within 24 hours. No one called so I made another complaint on 25th August, and was told that thr engineer would attend that day itself. No one came. My third complaint was made on 26th, and today, the 27th I registered my fourth complaint. All the food in my fridge has been ruined and gone to waste which could have been avoided had the engineer attended within 24 hours. I have had to spend on an ice box and buy ice to store basic items. A fridge is a critical item unlike a washing machine or air conditioner, and needs prompt attention. This company does not care for its customers. Never buy a Whirlpool product.Yuti Bhatt

I have taken Fortran 300 ltr Refrigerator from Reliance mart Tolichoki, Hyderabad, on 08/05/11. from 12/10/11 onwards Refrigerator is not working at all it is stand stillThen I have contacted Whirlpool Customer Care to give a complaint, your representative told he cannot provide the service, as I have purchased the machine from Reliance mart
This is very surprising to me, I have taken this Refrigerator by Brand name and for its best service from Whirlpool, if Whirlpool and Reliance Mart have any internal agreement for sales & service it should be clear to the Customer, where as in my case it is kept hide, Now I am suffering since 3days no respond from either Whirlpool not Reliance mart.

Whirlpool Refrigerator — Leaking - Unable to be resolved by the Company's representative
When we purchased Whirlpool refrigerator in 2004 we were suggested by the Company to buy a seven year contract which will provide us with any service during the seven years.Very soon we observed water leaking from the fridge in the inside. When we complained about it, the service personnel came but he was unable to rectify the fault. One after another persons kept trying but they were unable to resolve the issue. They even pierced holes in the refrigerator to take the water out, but water kept on coming.
Different personnel gave different reasons but nobody could solve the issue. Now the contract has expired.
Can we get any compensation for the defective refrigerator?

I complained to Whirlpool that my refridgerator is not working. It has been more than 2 weeks and the problem has not been fixed. I have been calling them and they assure that it will be fixed the same day but it never does. The complaint number is 18112.Never buy Whirlpool. The service is HORRIBLE!

my fridge in not cooling properly i had buy fridge on 2009 since that i have change 3 compressor in warranty period know again i m facing problem and when i call to u r authorized service provider (GENIUS SERVICES , PUNE) that time he could not attend my call and after 1 day he can search for the problem but he said that gas problem is there and he cut the compressor pipe line since 3-4 day my fridge not working and also no buddy coming for the attending and also when i went ti his office that time he tell me that u have to pay 1350/- for re-feeling the gas.........i have previous bill that he only re-feel the gas in only 350/- know he is asking more money
and as u mentioned in manual page no 24.4year warranty of compressor line no 3 that "GAS CHARGING IS INCLUDED ONLY WHEN COMPRESSOR IS DEFECTIVE AND INOPERATIVE.
PLZ look into matter this very personal request 4 u i[censored] rally care the customer or u rally try to build good relation with the customer so solve my problem as soon as possible ...........
and teach some good lesson to u r service provider (genius services no:- [protected] pune)

My Refrigerator was not Cooling Properly so i called your Whirlpool Authorised Service Center person
(Mr. Ruksar-:[protected]) who sent an engineer ( Mr.Narendra Singh ) visited to my place and he replaced the PCB of
the refrigerator & charged me Rs 3, 875, on 07/05/2012. But the Problem Remains the same. So i
Complaind again with Complaint No.GB[protected] on 14/05/2012. The Engineer ( Mr.Narendra Singh )
came again and said that i have set it right and will now work properly.
But the cooling was not there again.so i called your Whirlpool Authorised Service Center person again
( Mr.Ruksar-:[protected]) who sent an engineer ( Mr.Narendra Singh ) and he told that the Compressor
is weak So now that also needs to be replaced.
That means my Refrigerator's PCB was perfect if the problem was with the Compressor, So now i want
to get the Amount returend for the PCB that i paid and will throw this product out of my house.
Basically they all know very well what the problem was but they cheated us.
I request whirlpool senior executives to come upfront and provide me justice.
I already sent my grievance to whirlpool: [protected]@whirlpool.com .
I would not be satisfied until and unless they don’t give me my Money and if this not done within
a week I will copy and file my grievances to CONSUMER COURT as well as telecast this to
CNBC Awaaz channel but i wont let them to escape up to my last RIGHTS.

I had also purchased one ton window ac . The service engineer in spite of making seven requests on the service centre number did not come even for the first service due on 11months for my ac sl no. Cnb[protected] to my Delhi address. The engineer named irshad never listened nor any phone number of the engineer was given .

I have to lodge a complaint for - (i) Tray near compressor found broken when newly opened from cartoon. (ii) Door gives noise on opening & closing. (iii) no sound comes when the door is opened for more than 2 minutes. (iv) it is defrost automatically, so why ice seems more in the freezer.
I have telephoned 3 times at customer care & at 3rd time & i got the complaint number only at 3rd time as 0872 dt. 08.05.12. But till date i have got NO response neither anybody came.
I want my fridge to be replaced with a new one.
