Respected Madam/Sir,

I am Mr. G.T.Vasudevan Nair, KNO.no: [protected] residing at Laxmi Nagar has paid a bill of Rs. 1179/- (bill no.[protected] from the time period of 17 March – 30th June 2012 on November 2012. In the month of January 2013 again received a bill from Delhi Jal Board of Rs. 7790/- (bill.no.[protected] from the time period 2nd May to October 2012.

Whereas I have already paid till 30th June 2012 on November 2012 and still such a inflated bill for water has been claimed by Delhi Jal Board for 3 months.

I hail from a middle class family and such a errors and inflated water bills are unacceptable as well as impossible to pay off.

I want to bring to your kind notice that I have a jal board connection number [protected] installed at my residence F 4/18 Model Town Delhi 110009. The new k number for this connection is [protected]. I have already requested vide my earlier letter dated 7.5.2012, 28.6.12 and 21.1.2013 that no one was residing in this house from Jan 2002 to March 2008. I had enclosed a copy of the new electricity connection in support of this. From March 2008 onwards I have made the payment of Rs[protected]+25000) under threat that if don’t make the payment my connection will be disconnected. DJB officials who came to disconnect my connection I had requested them to send me the correct bil. It may not be out of place to mention that only two persons are residing in this house.

I had written first to Zonal Regional Officer, Delhi Jal Board North West IV Kewal Park Delhi then to The Joint Director Delhi Jal Board Varunalaya Phase II Karol Bagh New Delhi 110005 with a copy to ZRO again on 21.1.2013 but no one has bother to reply or resolve the matter. I have again received one bill where three days have been given otherwise my water connection will be disconnected. I shall also be grateful to you address of consumer court can be given to me so that one can file a complaint there also.

When it comes to the question of 'Lodging Complaints/Grievances' to Delhi Jal Board's much advertised log-in link www.djb.govt.in , I am afraid, if anyone may be successful ! Is the technical glitch in the interface - 'Complaints @ Grievances - deliberately done ?

Written complaint made after three failed successive visits in person by this Sr. citizen to ZRO (NW-3), remains unattended but subsequent bill delivered with a huge amount which I have never paid in last 30 years.

NOW, I AM DOUBTFUL EVEN COMPLAINTS TO " THIS FORUM " HAVE ANY POSITIVE EFFECT FOR THE CONSUMERS.

An intellectual foreigner once told me - " GOD IS REALLY SAVING INDIA ".....!!

Please refer my water bills no's763984dtd.20/04/2012 for rs 1373/=, bill no[protected] dtd.25/07/2012 for rs7688/= reflecting earlier paid bill for rs1373/=, which was got corrected at ZSO kanhaya ngar office by sh. bagrolia but again this whole amount of rs7687/= was added to the next bill no.[protected] dtd.17/01/2013.Again had to approach sh. Bagrolia and got it corrected and later the payment was made on the spot.
I would request therefore that I am a senior citizen and the harrasment caused to me and the time wasted for going door to door is irrepairable. who is to bear the loss?

Respected sir/madam,

I am one of the resident of MAHAVIR ENCLAVE. Our area is suffering from highly dirty and smelly water from past one year. which is not even suitable for washing and cleaning purpose, no one can even think of drinking it. It smells like it comes from some dead bodies. Please help us in this matter since it becoming a serious issue and already made some persons hospitalised.
We hope that our government will take some strict action in this matter so that we can proudly say that WE ARE DELHITIES

SO PLS LOOK INTO THE MATTER AND ARRANGE TO REFTIFY.

The sewage in 35/446 to 35/460 is overflowing since 12th Feb. 2013 and now the sewage water has started coming to residential premises. If no immediate action is taken it will give rise to health problems. It is reequested that immediate action may be taken in the matter.

Sir, all viewer of this site will surprised to see the nonsense bill sent by delhi jal board in favour o[censored]ndersigned. It has been proved that delhi jal board has decided to loot the residents of delhi. My bill amount is rs.25019/- (Rs. 26270/-with surcharge) from 23 nov.2011 to 25 oct.2012 for meter no. M[protected] under area code — a-2/yojana vihar. Such huge amount shows that delhi jal board is spoiling the image of delhi government. Being a senior citizen, i am disappointed and unable to pay such type of bill. I will furnish the details of such other bills sent to various consumers at the earliest.

I am sorry to take your valuable time but the circumstances compelled me to approach your goodself.

I am a resident of House No. 332 (G.F), Masjid Moth Village, New Delhi-110049. This house does not have even water supply line till date after 65 years of Independence, the Basic amenities have not been provided in the heart of Capital New Delhi.

The reasons are : This house is near A block South Extention Part - II and the entrance of this house is also towards South Extention Part - II. The water supply line of Masjid Moth does not touch this house and there is no way to connect this house with the water supply line, which is 300 yards away from the house. Masjid Moth area comes under R.K Puram Jal Board, the nearest water supply line of A Block South Extention Part - II which is only 30 yards away from this house, but South Extention Part – II area comes under the Lajpat Nagar Jal Board area.

About three times the water supply connection was sanctioned to this house, but till date, the concerned officer of water supply has not permitted to take a water connection from South Extention Part –II to this only house, due to different zones of Lajpat Nagar and R.K. Puram, with the result the resident of only house No. 332 Masjid Moth are bound to remain without water supply due to two different zones and life is very difficult without this very basic amenity

Kindly intervene in this matter, so that water connection to be given without any further delay.

I Anil Kumar resident of 18/406 , Trilokpuri , Delhi - 110091 , have registered a complaint for over flow of sewage in our lane on 28/01/2013 vide complaint No. 208. After repeated calls to one Mr. Mayank Pratap, our problem has not been solved. More over he says we work under our own wishes and you can't force us to see your complaint.Is this the way a public servant responds. The sewage water has got mixed with the drinking water,. Our children are falling sick. In fact there was a death in our road yesterday, which we feel could be because of the water also. They keep telling us that they will come , and that there is a big line of complaints. But are't they bothered about the common mans suffering. It is more than 10 days and still they have not finished with the older complaints. I cllad today morning also .they said they will come in one hour. But it is more than 4 hours still no one has come. Our area is stinking and has become very difficult to come out of our houses. hope this complaint will have a strong and quick response

Sewer connections in our colony engaged for quite long time, but our neighbors not yet had a sewer connection, and it comes in the groove Hey all dirt next to our house, which has become impossible sitting outside our house, and street leave in disgust

And other peoples of the passage of the stool of their sewer drain into the sewage sludge hey look so disgusted us

I Sir/Madam,

I would like to draw your kind attention towards water theft by our neighbour from many years. They are also using submersible from past 2 years. I am surprised to see Delhi Jal Board Employees do not take any serious action despite knowing all the information.

Please do the needful.

We would be highly obliged to you, as we are honestly paying water bills but there are some people who want to utilise water but without any cost.

Please keep my information secret as I could be killed by them. I believe my information is true which I came to know from my other neighbours.

I am a resident of A-1/69, Janakpuri and have been facing an acute problem of a blocked sewer line which is causing a back flow of sewer water into my residence and thereby addressing the issue to you. This drastic situation has occurred due to the Shree Makan Restaurant and the Cloud’s Banquet Hall, as the sewer line which had been laid for the Residential Complex is not designed to undertake the heavy load of effluents (ghee, plastic glasses & cleaning dusters) which is discharged by these Commercial Complexes, it regularly gets blocked causing acute problems for the residents. Despite repeated attempts at getting the sewer line cleaned at a local level, complaints to the Delhi Jal Board and requests to the Management of these Commercial Complexes, there is no solution in sight. The Sewage Water back flow into a residence has become a matter of grave health concern for the residents and can lead to spread of diseases like dengue. Keeping these aspects related to municipal and public welfare including Health and Hygiene in mind it is requested that this sewage blockage be cleared along with the cleaning of the sewer line at the earliest.

We have received the Bill no:[protected] Dt: 27/oct/12 with the amount of Rs 25786 with unecessary charges, However till aug 10 we have paid all the bills time to time. Then we have submitted the application to correct our bill at DJB, kakrola mode delhi on Jan/2012 with all the necessary documents and also we have receciving for the same and now again we receive Bill no:[protected] Dt:Oct 12 with Rs 25786 again unecessary charges.Kindly look into the matter seriously and correct our bill ASAP.

Dear Sir,

I have filed so many complaints ie; G. No. [protected] dated 24/06/2010, (ii) G.No.[protected] dated 22/11/2010, (iii) G.No.[protected] dated 20.05.2011 (iv) G.No.[protected] dated 24.2.2012, Complaint No. 3964 dated 21.6.2012, G.No.[protected] dated 09.07.2012, G.No.[protected] dated 11.8.2012 G.No.[protected] dated 29.08.2012 G.No.[protected] dated 06.09.2012 and G.No[protected] dated 14.10.2012 against polluted, Sewerage Water supplied by Delhi Jal Board and your department forward these complaints to ZE/JE of our area. Mr. ZE comes and cut supply pipe line different three places and see the sewerage/dirty water comes. But after this he is not taking any action against this problem.

So I am requesting to you please take appropriate action against him and resolve these problems

DELHI JAL BOARD IS NOT SUPPLYING WATER SINCE LAST YEAR AT B-BLOCK, BABA HARI DASS ENCLAVE, JHARODHA KALYA & JHARODHA VILLAGE, NEW DELHI. I HAD SUBMITTED THE WRITTEN COMPLAINTS TO ALL HIGH AUHORITIES THAT THE WATER IS NOT SUPPLIED TO US SINCE LAST YEAR, HOWEVER, NO ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN, THERE ARE AROUND 600 FAMILIES WHO ARE SUFFERING BECAUSE OF THIS. THE ISSUE IS KNOW TO ALL THE TOP OFFICIALS OF DELHI JAL BOARD BUT TILL DATE NO ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN. IT IS VERY SHAMEFUL TO SAY THAT WE ARE STAYING IN DELHI, NO WATER FOR THE LAST YEAR AND STILL CONTINUING. IT IS A VERY SHAMEFUL SCENARIO AND STRICT ACTION NEEDS TO BE TAKEN. WE REALLY HOPE THIS COMPLAINT IS FORWARDED TO ALL OFFICIALS OF DJB WHO MUST TAKE SOME ACTION TO RESOLVE IT. IF THEY HAVE TO SURVIVE WITHOUT WATER FOR THE LAST YEAR THEN THEY WILL COME TO KNOW HOW IT FEELS.
