This is a serious issue, regarding no receiving of bills, no option available to see your bills or generate duplicate bills, recently notices to consumer to replace the defective meters where as most of the consumer can not follow the time consuming procedure and the Jal board inspacters/ touts/ employees are charging unreasonable amount to get the things done while consumer sitting at home. This is one of the worst department in terms of services.

I have paid my sepetember bill on 14/09/09 of amount Rs 392 in bill no 126063 dated 04/09/09 in post office and same amount was refflected in next bill in the month of nov 09.Ipersonnely request at jal board Janak Puri.They deducted the same amount and take balance amount.But in third bii in the month of Mar 2010 same amount Rs 412/- added again.So I request you please updated your records to avoid human harrasment.I will be thank full to you.

Recently I received a bill of Rs 508 for the water consumption. This bill was ALSO showing a previous outstanding of Rs 253 where as it is already paid vide cheque No. 466828 on Syndicate Bank dated[protected] and debited from my account on[protected]. Passbook entry can be produced if required as a proof of transferring account to Jal Board.

It is not understood why such a blunder is done by a large government organization. Will you refund with other service charges already charged by you and explain the procedure to get it refund.

It is requested to investigate the lapses on your part and take necessary action so that no reoccurrence happens in future.

SUB: VERY HIGH AMOUNT OF MY BILL NO.782178 DT.28.4.2012 FOR Rs.2178/- for on 1 month 8 days – k no.[protected]

I refer to my above Water bill which is very much on the high side. Even for Electricity bill I do not pay of such huge amount.
The Unit used is only 70 unit. I enclose copy of last bill which was only for Rs.881/- and that too for 92 units of the same connection.
There is something wrong in your calculation. Or Reader has wrongly taken the reading on the very high side. How can be so much difference in previous bill which was for Rs.881/- only for 5 months and now bill under complaint has come for Rs.2178 for only 1 month 8 days. It is a clear picture of some mistake at your end. I have paid this bill under protest.
Kindly check and arrange to refund the excess amount paid by me.

I fully agree that Delhi Jal Board doesn't have a consumer helping attitude.Almost all information mentioned at backside of bill are misleading as no e payment is being accepted. Post offices have also stopped taking bill paymewnt besides other banks except corp.bank, Moreover a bill collection center opp.MCD office Rajouri gdn. isn always closed . For last 15 days, there is contaminated & smelly water coming from the Delhi Jal Board taps. Kindly look into this URGENTLY

i am a resident of 57-C, block D1-C, Janak Puri.We have been getting contaminated, smelly water for the past 5 days.I believe it has been mixed with the sewage water and is completely unusable.I tried speaking to the people concerned but with no avail.I hope you look into the matter immediately.

Sub: Drinking water problem in some area of Madangir

Respected Sir,

We are resident of Madangir Block E-II. We are facing the grave problem of water. Only houses No. E-II 68 to 78 and E-II 87 to 106 facing this problem, but in the same block except these houses other houses have no any problem of water. The supply of water is continuing without other houses have no any problem of water. The supply of water is continuing without any problem or restriction.
In our houses water supply is being only for one time and only for fifteen minutes, sometimes this water contaiminated, but except these houses water supply is being for two time morning & evening for one an hour daily.
We have been facing the same problem for last some months . We have loged a written complaing to concern authority manytimes, but they take no any action there for condition is as it is.
We take water from other's houses with lot's difficulties.
We hope you understand our problem and help us as soon as possible.

We wish to bring following facts to your kind notice:-

1. That we are the residents of Gali No. 8, 9, 10 and 11 of Raj Nagar Part II Extn. Dwarka Sector 8, New Delhi.

2. That main Water Pipe Line was laid during 1997-98, supplying water in this area i.e. Gali no.8 and later on
Water was supplied to gali no. 9 to 11.

3. That feeder Water Pipe Line was laid between Gali no. 8 to 11 in this area in the year 2008. All the water connections from main water pipe line were disconnected and new connection from feeder water pipe line was provided.

4. That the depth of main Water Pipe Line is 5’ and the depth of feeder Water Pipe Line is 3’.

5. That the water flows in main pipe line and the height being constraint for the feeder water pipe line, no water flows in the feeder water pipe line. Resulting NO WATER SUPPLY to the residents of Gali No. 8, 9, 10 and 11 of Raj Nagar Part II Extn. Dwarka Sector 8, New Delhi.

6. That in case if no water is supplied through feeder line, the residents shall be compelled to get the connection from main water supply line.

PRAYER
To over come this problem it is humbly requested that to ensure the water supply in this area the engineer be requested to visit the area and needful action be taken by DJB.

We shall be grateful if an urgent action is taken so that life of the peoples could be made easy.

Attitude of Delhi Jal Board is not neutral. They always favor the community colony block for the distribution of water. We are suffering very badly due to water is not supplied in 31 Block West Patel Nagar from the last three days. This is regular feature and we never get the smooth supply and sufficient water washing bathing etc. It is really shame on us as citizen of india.We are the income tax payee and every kind tax is paid. Although there are two tubewells which supply water to this block. One tubewell is in Gali no. 3 and another tubewell is in Gali No 1 (near Govt Sr. Sec. School). But it seems that some people have intentionally stopped the water supply from these two tubewells to the resident of P Block. We are forced to buy the waters from Pvt. water suppliers.

Sewer Problems — Fed up with sewers and neighbours

I m resident of A-36, Rohini, Sec-2 32 MTR Janta Flats and the condition of the sewer in my vicinity is worst than the worst.
It is always filled up and coming out all the time in front of my house and i dont get a space to step out and the neighbours specially residing in a-37 are delibrately closing all the 3 sides except the side of our home and they used to put lot of water in their sewer lines so that all the waste material comes out and flows in front of our home and all the time we are living in a hazardous environment.

I am totally fed up with the sewers as well as neighbours, i cant live with these illmannered and backward class neighbours.Even I have called the police for the matter and they have done nothing because they are good for nothing.

We get reply by DJB out of area. I am the residential of 1/17 D.D.A. J.J.Colony Garhi, our area is comes under Giri Nagar zone and sub zone Okhla what we are tolerating, but nobody is ready to take action against these complaint. Sewage water mixed in drinking water and we get through tap many peoples are suffering from disease and many are hospitalize. Drinking water is too much smelly and dirty, senior citizen prays to God for death.

sir, there is sewer problems, in front of my house, orally i had lodged multiple complains to the area complain office. but every time they just pretend and said we do not have enough materials to repair the sewer, sir, our street sewer r more than 30 years old, now they all become useless and acquired pores between the walls, therefor water is soaked by the sewer walls and our houses r getting water ceiling.
currently sewer is filled by malwa, mitti, etc. but employee neglecting by telling this is not our work, then who will do this work, it is request to u please take immediate step towards our sewer problems, which causing inconvenient to nearby residents .

I am a resident of RZ-I/75, Old Sombazar Road, Mahavir Enclave, Part II, New Delhi-110045. Front and back side of my house sewer lines over flows most of the month. We get it cleaned privately by engaging private
people every time it happens to over flow. Inspite of several complaints made earlier the concerned authority does not response to the complaints. DJB is raising bill every month and charging us "SERVICE CHARGES". DJB is not providing any "SERVICE" to claim any charges. They are supposed to do maintenance work for Sewer systems. Water we get is "SALT" water for the past 10 years yet they are raising bills for "POTABLE WATER". We are purchasing Potable water every day and also paying water bills for the connection taken from DJB. That's how the DJB, whose chairperson is the Chief Minister, functions.
Please let me know who is responsible to look after the maintanance work of sewer lines in our area.

I would like to inform you tht the out side combind drain of sewer & rain water drain backside of our house is blocked last 22days.After our Repeated Complaints their hasbeen no action taken by aney officer.

I'm Rajesh Pandey, r/o D-3A/32, Dayal Pur, Delhi-94, since last 2 weeks we are not getting regular water supply in Gali No. 3A, Dayal Pur (West Karawal Nagar). There are lot of illegal water connections in the main pipeline of the road. So that the people who are not paying the bill they enjoying free water and we people are not getting water.
We have to borrow water from another residents to fulfil our requirement for save our lives and for other daily works. We have register lot of complaints against it to our nearest JAL BOARD office and the Area Engineer. but they didnot take any action.

So, I request you to please do the needful for the same as soon as possible. because we are really in a big trouble.

It is submitted that I, JC-724379A Sub Atar Singh (Retd) was retired from Army since 01 Mar 2009 after that I have purchase a small floor at Nanhey Park (A-60) T/Floor and I have applied for water connection on 04 Feb 2012, DJB ZRO, Dwarka Mode office has allotted registration No DJB/ZRO/SW-I/2012/886. In this connection Mr Ravi Sharma (Mob No [protected]) has informed on 01 Mar 2012 that three connection has already been provided in the same building, hence it is not possible to provide another connection. On 06 Mar I have again requested to Mr Ravi Sharma for sanction of water connection and Mr Ravi Sharma told me that your application has been sanctioned and dispatch to DJB ZRO, Dwarka Mode office but today (14 Mar 2012 ) I have confirmed from office that no files have been received from ZE, (South-West-I) D-Block, Janakpuri Office last 10 days.

2. In view of above it is requested to advise concerned staff to provide water connection accordingly.

3. Your cooperation in this regard is highly solicited.

Sir,

I am resident of Inder Puri, New Delhi-12. I would like to draw your attention to a serious problem i.e. supply of highly contaminated, dirty and smelly water from the last fifteen days which is not even suitable for bathing, washing and cleaning purpose. We get water supply only once in a day which is also at very odd hour 3.30 a.m. NOw it start affecting everybody's health. I request you to look into this matter on urgent basis before it get worse.

I would like to highlight the ineffectiveness of the Delhi Jal Board Deptt and the respective officials responsible for the same.
Instead of paying bills on time we are not getting the Basic amenities required for any person to survive i.e. WATER.

But these officials are least bother to live upto the responsible for which they are in the system.

I live in Vipin Garden in west Delhi and the water supply coming to our area is like coming from some drains it smells like sewage water and black in color.
I wish to offer this water the DJB officials and they will realize the peoples pain.

I have complained several times but these bluddy BABUS are least bother as nobody is there to ask them about pending complaints always showing as pending in their ONline system.

We, the residents of D-Block, Hari Nagar, Clock Tower, New Delhi - 110 064, place before you the following facts for your consideration:-

1. That the residents of D-Block Hari Nagar is not getting water supply for the last one month. That's why we are facing lot of problem for want of drinking water.

2. That the adjoining blocks are getting proper supply of water everyday.

3. That we have met our concerned area MLA regarding our water complaint.

4. That the concerned area MLA has given instructions to the concerned J.E. to find out solution of the problem.

5. That the concerned MLA and J.E. asked the residents to give land for planting a submersible pump in the D-Block.

6. That the residents of D-Block is not in a position to provide space for planting submersible pump.

7. That the residents had made a request to the concerned J.E. to plant the submersible pump in the nearby park.

Sir, everyday we have to carry water from the adjoining blocks for drinking and for cooking food. Due to lack of water, there is an adverse impact on the health of the people. Scarcity of water is also causing physical and mental irritation amongst the people of this block.

It is, therefore, requested that kindly consider our request sympathetically and resolve our problem as early as possible.

I complety agree with your complain.Even I am having the same problem.I complained online twice abot the billing problem of DJB (Bills not received since last two years) and sent a complain to CM Delhi also on Delhi Govt.Grievances Registration. I think they hardly check the complains made on-line. The e-governance of CM Sheila Dixit is a total failure. CM is concerned about commonwealth games and beautification of delhi ( at the cost of citizen's money and taxes) which is not bad, but the citizens are totally ignored.

respected sir, i had recieved my bill dated 18/6/2009 bill no. is 13226, area 2/cz-2, water connection no. -35624, non domestic-2.addressed at 2830/18 beadon pura, karol bagh, new delhi.my bill amounted to rs.24479. which was a surprisae to see. basically my reading on 15/7/2008 was 1300units and on 17/2/2009 it was 1416 that means it is for a period of 7 months average reading per month is 16.57 units.and the current billreading is 1750 units i.e for the period 17/2/2009 to 26/5/2009 is 334 units that maens 105 units for one month which is impossible, again we rechecked the meter by ourself on 2/7/2009 it was 1780 units i.e again 20units per month this shows that the meter is not in the right position so i request you to check the meter and allow us to make the payments on behalf of the last bills, which is wrritten on the back side of your bill in informzation coloum no. 12 . i shall be grate ful so that you sort out my problem as early as possible otherwise i have to take matter to the higher authorities, waiting for a affermative and helpful response from your side
