my self ashpak kardigudd i had I had applied for Sid and Sid got approved and also got print and forwarded for dispatched but did not received my sid number is M34363057 SID issue date = 12/20/23 SID date of expiry= 12/19/33

I hope you will take action on this and solve my problem as soon as possible

Good morning respective Sir/Madam,
My name is Ashwini Chawda and I have had my biggest struggle dealing with Shakshi institute and sending email to DG shipping regarding my EFA which I completed during Covid and due to number of issues of DG website when I was provided my certificate it was provided for 18 months along with PSSR and other.

Than later my PSSR was changed to Unlimited and when I asked about my EFA I was told that DG shipping has a problem in the website and due to that Shakshi Institute was not able to change the certificate or do anything and I will have to wait.

I have waited for 2 and half years and chasing Shakshi institute who is advising me to email DG shipping no reply is received from DG shipping neither Shakshi institute wants to help me.

Me as a student this is not my fault if the DG website was crashed, but after the crash my PSSR was changed than why my EFA was not changed. My EFA Cedric are is still showing for 18 months and need that to be changed to unlimited. As even technically EFA and PSSR is always Unlimited.

Please help me as I have almost lost my joining date I can't move forward with this situation and now I am writing to you as I was introduce by my brother.

I have attached my EFA certificate please help me change this to atleast 5 years like other certificate as promised by Shakshi institute.

I as a crew will have to do this one course again for the mistake which Shakshi institute made and Bo help received from DG shipping.

I applied CDC on 29/10/23 at shipping master office kolkata (application no SMO(K)/2023/62830 ) and showing aproved from 4/12/23 but still not dispatched, why it’s getting this much late

This is in regards to the CDC Application number SMO(K)/2023/64322 which got approve on 23rd November 2023 and still not dispatch by the MMD Kolkata.Its been almost a month for its approval and I am on thr verge of losing my job because of the same.Please send it asap as company may cancel my offer letter anytime because of the delay.

I applied for INDIAN CDC on December 1st through DG Shipping Master Office Kolkata, and the application was showing under process from the very first day. After 15 days, I received an email that said my application is under verification process. Since I already have my joining date from my ship (Jan -12’24), I tried to reach out to the SMO KOLKATA through phone and email however I haven’t received any response for one week. No one answering the call. I was trying to reach in order to obtain the speed post tracking number so that I can push the Tamil Nadu State Board to speed up the verification process however I couldn’t succeed in reaching them. As per the research I have done online, I understand that the process would take now a minimum of 30 days to complete the verification due to the transit time of the hard copy back and forth, let alone the processing of CDC after verification. It could be approved or rejected only god knows. The process is entirely outdated, keeping the seamen, both freshmen and who are on vacation, wait for so long, without salary. Other organizations can do the e-verification in Tamil Nadu State Board however, DG Shipping, one of the important government institution is still using speed post to verify the documents. DG shipping needs to understand that we are not getting paid for the vacations, especially those who work in passenger vessels. For one document, we have to wait for 45 days. Even Passport doesn’t take this long. Transiting of documents through speed post is really an old school process, which is extremely delaying. Why wait for 15 days in the first place to send for verification, maximum 3-4 days, it could have been noticed and sent. Anyways I would like to thank DG shipping that my joining been canceled by my company and I will have to wait for the document and next joining date indefinitely without salary. At least answering phone calls or replying to email saying we cannot give tracking number would be really really great. Please upgrade the system. I beg.

Requesting the status of sid card and when it will be dispatched

I have applied for CDC on 7th of October 2023, application number SMO(M)/2023/270232.

As of the present moment, my application is still showing as "under verification process" since 45 days. I went to the board on 30th Nov, 2023 from where I have passed my 10th and did some formalities to verify my document (slip attached). They said they will send it through speed post within one week. I eagerly await the issuance of my CDC for an upcoming joining. I kindly request that you expedite the issuance of my CDC.

My name is Shaharyar Iqbal. I have applied for CDC, application number SMO(M)/2023/270232 on 7th of October 2023, On 25th October it came under verification and since that day the status is not changed. I went to my concerned Bengal Board to verify my 10th marksheet, they took xerox copy of admit card and marksheet with Rs 300 and told me they will send this verification via speed post within one week. but its now 10 days and i got no update.

I got job in reputed cruise line and i have to join as soon as possible.
