I bave placed an order for a laptop on 14th of may 2021 and the product reached my nearest delivery hub on 17th may 2021, by noon when i checked my portal it is being shown that its out of delivery area (pincode-address mismatch).
Yes indeed i have to provide an address because of the past experiences in which the delivery boy have been waiting for me in the wrong location as i am living distantly from my registered post office. So i had to use a near by postal pincode, and there was no option before payment to check for the postal code and post office.
And now after payment when the delivery reached my nearest hub they just decided to reject it without notifying me, it was an indeed an arrogant action, because it is the users indeed paying for the delivery and we only get a free delivery if we make a purchase above 500 INR.
Presently l have bought the laptop when there was a discount of 10000 INR and now the discount has gone, which means now i am facing a loss of 10000 INR because they were not able to perfectly check the location address, eventhough i would have personally went and collected it from the delivery centre if they have contacted me regarding this issue.
I still dont understand how the delivery executives are authorized to cancel an order before promised date without even trying to contact the consumer, and i do mention it strictly that there is no means of contacting this ekart delivery company, every bit of details they provided are wrong or wont work. The quality of the service they provide is very poor considering that the parent company of ekart is flipkart itself, when other online shopping sites like amazon notify us about every bit of information of our delivery.
