My voter Identity card bearing No.SXBO289553 received on 12/07/2011 bears wrong name. It should be Tapas Samal. Whereas it has been printed as "Tapas Kumar Samal". my date birth should have been 08/04/1991. but it has been printed as 08/04/1989.Though I correctly wrote my name in the application form and the photo copies of my documents: Matric Certificate and the addressproof, cylinder filling contained the correct spellings.I complained this before the Chief Election Officer, Orissa on 12/07/2012..

Are we citizens of India just asses or we really taken seriously as tax payers who really deserve to be shown respectability towards?

I am a resident in Pune and thankfully a native of another state. I got my Card with my name correct but a totally different address of another building ner my society. And it is not just mine but hundreds of other people have received their cards with the same address?

Who makes these? Who prints them? Don't we have value for paper, time and labour and above all what a national waste?

Don't we have educated and level headed people in our Government who can at least enter correct data without typos?


And by the way guys, by asking it here no is going to attend to your complaint. Go, write your application and walk up and down some stupid ward office until your chappal wears out! And also, be aware that there is something called IDENTITY THEFT by which anybody can forge your full detail which you have given very foolishly open on the internet!

my name is r shanthakumar staying in #761, 10th cross, 4th main rbi layout, j p nagar 7 th phase, bangalore 560078 which comes in bangalore south assembly constuincy .totally in our family there are 4 voters myself my wife my son and my daughter, what i want camplaint is i want to be included in voter listt .i have already given form 6; 10 days ago now next what i have to do .my mobile is [protected]

on 28/12/2010 I saw a notice sent by the electoral registration officer, malakpet constituency 58MalakpetD.M.C.04, that I have to attend the above said office on 22/12/2010 at 4 pm , stating that I am not residing at 16-2-738/B/A and my name will be deleted. The letter is stamped by malakpet post office on 23/12/2010. It shows the callousness of the staff attending to the electoral rolls and the way to delete the names of the voters very negligently. I am an Advocate practising in the High Court of A.P., for the last 20 years and I am resident of the same place from October,2000. I have telephone connection of 24066015 and I have been receiving the bill also on the same address. Under these circumstances, can it be said that I am not residing here for the last 6 months. I demand my name THOTA SREENIVASARAYALU at S.nO.923, part No.126 of Malakpet consituency shall be continued and severe action shall be initiated against the negligent officer who issued such notice under Rule 21A of Registration of Electoral Rules, 1961.
