Dear Sir/Madam,

My birth place is Hatgobindapur, Burdwan, Pin 713407. Since 1987, I am out of home due to study and job.

Once I got an apartment in Mothijheel, Dumdum, Kolkata in 1999, I am trying to include my name in the voter list.

I put my best effort for the same in 2006. Being an IT manager in Cognizant and having very little time in hand, I visited Bikash Bhawan for 15 days. Government employees were mostly involved in providing ration card and voter card to homeless basti people not having any Indian identity. I submitted my application with copies of the following:
1. Ration card
2. Driving license
3. Pan card
4. Old passport showing my address as Hatgobindapur, Burdwan, Pin 713407 (Where I lived till 1987 till my age of 18)
5. New passport showing my address as P-42 Motijheel Avenue, Block B, Flat 2B, Kolkata 700074 (Where I am living since 1999)
6. Madhyamik admit card
7. Form 6 from Hatgobindapur Burdwan showing that my name is not there in the voter list

Later, I came to know that my name had been cancelled as it was submitted under wrong constituency.

I again applied in July 2010. My hearing date was 2nd August 2010. I was in US that time. My wife attended the hearing and marked as ‘ATTENDED’. They did not show any cause of canceling my name. However, my name was not there in the list.

I discussed with them and they asked me to bring the voter list of Hatgobindapur Burdwan showing my family members’ name in the list. I collected the list and meet them. They told that time was over.

Please let me know how I can include my name in the voter list.

I have not recieved voter id card can you please guide me from where do i get the application form and what where i have to go to get my voter id card, perviously two times i have submitted forms for voter id card but those people says something else govt has discard all those forms in past 3 yrs. but still there is no response where should i go so kindly check and do the needful help..
i m ready to go to the voting card office to get my voting right but i dont knw where the office is........ if this process is goin according to area wise then let me know where i have to go i stay at borivali west mumbai

SIR, THE MISSPELLING IN CARD WAS DUE TO THE MISTAKE OF VENDOR WHO HAVE PREPARED THE CARD ,WITHOUT ANY FAULT OF MINE. SO, I THINK PENALISING THE VOTERS FOR THE FAULT OF OTHER IS NOT DESIRABLE .

TAYYEB SIDDIQUI" and the name printed on card is "TAYAYAB SIDDHIKI", i add MOHD. in my name. Hw to change it. AND my father name is also incorrect on voter id card. I am Rajiv Kumar, just for a query that, wrong name printed in voter id Card.
In actual my name spelling is Rajiv Kumar, but in voter id card having Rajeev Kumar, so kindly help me as soon as possible.

i did not receive voters i.d. card for myself &my wife for vejalpur area address 6,tapasvi jalaram socy.,nr.ramtirth socy.,jivrajpark,vejalpur,ahmedbd-380051.our names appear in voter list of vejalpur

I am 28 years Old; still I don’t have Voter ID.

5 months before me and my wife applied them. Last week my wife got it Voter ID with very CHILD/Chilly English Grammar mistakes.
- Husband Name Error
- Address Error
- Candidate Name not case sensitive.

Note: Still now Am not received VOTER ID.
