    One Epson all in one CX5500 Serial No. K37V016658 purchased on 07 Feb 2008 from Prestige Computers & Technologies which was having 2 years warranty and within warranty period 2 times printer become unserviceable and made it clear by Epson service IMAGE IT SOLUTIONS, Shop No. 8, 1st FLOOR, Panchasheela Towers, Parklane, Secunderabad-500 003 Phone [protected]. Before 3 months from today just after completion of warranty again printer become unserviceable and again I contacted same Epson Customer Care they played with so many ways last 2 months as printer was in my home town (West Bengal). I compeled to bring back the printer again in Hyderabad and again I contacted and Epson CS told to contact IMAGE IT SOLUTION. I contacted IMAGE IT SOLUTION and they told motherboard problem and it will spend 3500/- so better to purchase new one. Presently same printer costing in market 3300/- and I asked them how repair cost can be more than new one? They not replied and told me company only interested to sell cartridge. Then I email on 21 May 2011 to Epson Customer Care and told them if it so then you are compelling me to go consumer forum, after 2 days on 23 May 2011 they contacted to me and told they will do the needful within day but after that they neither contacted nor done any thing. On 26 May also I email them but not replied. Kindly make arrangement to repair the the said printer. My mobile no. [protected] and email id: [protected]@yahoo.co.in

      epson printers — very poor services applied, Worst customer satisfaction, fraud information about the product

      Epson services groups and sales distributors are not providing the better service.
      Our Firm got the worst services from the epson services centres .
      Many people dealing with epson printer product gave as the fault information.
      For the past 2 years they have wasted a plenty of time and money of our Firm.
      No beeter dustomer support on phone.
      Please do change the poor attitude service departments.

      EPSON AUTHORISED SERVICE CENTRE HELIX AUTOMATION (P) LTD IN CHENNAI IS A FRAUDULENT COMPANY I HOPE

      I bought a EPSON T13 Printer in 2011. Within few weeks o[censored]sage the Printer was not printing Magenta was not working. I placed a complaint with EPSON and that was forwarded to EPSON AUTHORISED SERVICE CENTRE HELIX AUTOMATION (P) LTD IN CHENNAI.

      I service person from EPSON AUTHORISED SERVICE CENTRE HELIX AUTOMATION (P) LTD IN CHENNAI came to my site and inspected the Printer and was not able to rectify. He said that the PRINTER HEAD will be replaced. This was done on July 13th, 2011. I made several Phone Calls to this EPSON AUTHORISED SERVICE CENTRE HELIX AUTOMATION (P) LTD IN CHENNAI, afterwards and they gave me the reply that the Printer Head has not arrived and they will replace it soon.

      BUT NOW MORE THAN ONE YEAR HAS PASSED AND THE EPSON T13 PRINTER HEAD HAS NOT BEEN REPLACED YET ( TODAY IS 17TH JULY 2012).

      Iam herewith attaching the service card which the EPSON Service Eng has given me as my copy.

      PEOPLE PLEASE DONT BUY ANY EPSON PRINTERS. THEY ARE WASTE AND THEY INTEND TO CHEAT OUR PEOPLE. THE SERVICE AND WARRANTY ARE JUST FRAUD AND THE COMPANY DOESNT BOTHER TO SERVICE IT ATLEAST.

        It seemed very amusing when, Mr Nayaz Ahmed on [protected] with reference number of the call 965111. Informed me that Calcutta does not fall under the Category of a Metro City.

        I wanted to order a cartridge ( 73N) for my Printer Recently purchased.

        Why has the company been advertising about "call for a cartridge". When its unable to service in Calcutta.

        I guess this is a perfect case for Consumer Court. As in how big companies Misguide or just take out ads but do not provide service ...

          As I stated that from beginning I tried several time over your toll free numbers and more over from where I purchased that co wind of within 6 months from that onwards I am getting troubles but your kind information that HiTech co came once and changed the head of printers and it was not serve the purpose as such I have lost my warranty period. Now I have called from Gautam Ganguly and he asked me that I have to bear charges which is very painful to me moreover uour cartridges of ink throwing vigorously which is should not to be and I am suffering from purchase date.
          Will you please consider my case to attend the call on FOC basis.

            The Epson printers costs lest but the company surely make you fall in a trap by compelling you buying new cartridge again & again and they make their income from cartridges as they get empty automatically because the chip sets it to zero .After installing its compatible ink cartridges 91N its ink level decreases significantly during every operation on/off operation of the printer[10% of the previous ink level approx]. Black 91N cartridges only give you 5 to 6 printouts whereas in their website they claim 170 printouts of each this type of cartridges.It will loose 70% of its ink level if you try alignment which is perfect for printing.realignment requires again if you change a 91N cartridges with a 73N cartridges.Pressing reset also decreases the count may be to zero and you have to buy your cartridges again.Their after sales customer care is also hopeless.This is a clear case of violation of the competition act.The printer shows better print quality but all their cartridges expired before the promised time span. They are just pickpocketing every customer with costly cartridges which are not refillable. We request to the consumer forum to stop this type of cheating business, and give us relief from this fatal company.
            I am facing the same problem, i think the company should be stopped from selling products in india...ASAP

              I am Pritam Chanda pro of Stodio Mood, Kolkata, bought a printer of Epson with
              following details: Epson Picture Mat 215 serial no KSUK 009185. Sir my printer
              is still in warranty. From some months it was creating disturbance, so send my
              printer to get repaired in high tech service kolkata in September.

              Now it is more than 4 times , that I have sent it to get repaired. And even
              after so many times, I see problem persists.

              I remember last I gave my printer on 9.9.2010 and accroding to Kolkata
              officials, it is still in Bangalore and on the stage of repair.

              I feel handicapped without my printer and since I am a professional
              photogrpapher, my work is highly effected.

              Infact i have spoken with with Suresh R, regional head of Kolkata but all my
              actions were in vain.

                  sir i ahve purcased a epson printer.

                  i was having some problem with the printer.i called them and lodged my coamplaint. the printer was taken away by the epson people and after a period of 10 to 15 days they returned me the printer sayin it is working properly.it worked ok for few hours and the problem still exits when i called up the call centre the sent me the same guy mr hemant.he is unadle to deal with the problem.today when i called himhe thretend me and abused me .this is not done.

                    Dear Sir,
                    I being a consumer of your product would like to state that, I have been through lot of difficulties in taking Service form your Service Provider. I have bought an EPSON PRINTER "EPSON STYLUS TX110 " and is under warranty period. But your service provider is not cooperating with me. I have given my PRINTER for service on 30/8/2010, as it was not working properly i.e. I was not able to take any print from my printer. The Service provider told me that it will take around 3-4 days to get to my warranty and provided me a Telephone Number for any quarry [protected]. But this Telephone Number is out of service, So I have to reach to them for any further quarries. They also don't take any job seriously which are given to them under warranty. I have to face a lot of problem as I am not having my printer by my side.
                    I have a question for you if my warranty period expires then what will happen ? If these are the types of your warranty claims then WHY does your company provides warranty on any product ?
                    I am a citizen of JAMSHEDPUR, JHARKHAND.

                    Kindly look into my matter seriously as I am going through lot of difficulties without my printer.

                      Bought Epson Stylus TX111 from Indiatimes shopping online. Seller was Epson India Ltd Sold the product very costly online for 3999 actual cost at dealers in the market only[protected].

                      Then the inks lasted for only first few prints - around 20 - 10 prints and 10 photocopies.
                      Ordered new black ink standard pack
                      after head cleaning - usual for new cartridge as informed the ink is already half after just 5 text prints.

                      Ink cannot be refilled, chinese cartridge wont work!! so have to buy only original no other option!!

                      Its a nightmare easier to buy - cheap but very high running costs!!
                      company says standard pack - 250 pages - bull - real - 20 pages only
                      economy pack - 150 pages - 15 pages only

                      Even the dealer suggests to buy HP instead for low running costs!!
                      was looted!! even the printer wont sell for 1000 now, dealer offered only 500 in exchange for new hp for only 3 month old epson.

                          I HAVE BOUGHT A EPSON PRINTER TX110 ON 02/04/10 FROM E-ZONE KAROL BAGH. THEY TOLD ME THAT IT HAS INK CARTRIDGES IN IT BUT DOES NOT TOLD THAT THEY ARE ONLY FOR DEMO PURPOSE.IT HAS GIVEN ME ONLY 8 PRINTOUTS SO AS IT IS IN CARRY IN WARRANTY I HAVE TAKEN IT TO THE WORKSHOP IN KARAMPURA & THE PERSON THERE HAS TOLD ME THAT I HAVE TO PURCHASE I NEW CARTRIDGE OTHERWISE IT WON'T WORK. SO I HAVE PURCHASED NEW CARTRIDGE 91N SERIAL NO.[protected] FOR RS 250/- FROM ARUN ELECTONICS & ELECTRICALS IN KARAM PURA. THE COMPANY HAS TOLD ME THAT IT WILL GIVE ABOUT 150 PAGES. BUT IT HAS ONLY GIVEN ME 20 PAGES. & NW NO BODY IS LISTENING IN THE COMPANY & SAYING THAT WE CANT DO ANY THING U HAVE TO PURCHASE A NEW ONE AGAIN.PLZ LOOK INTO THE MATER & SOLVE IT.

                          With referance to my earlier email regarding the poor performance of the EPSON TX121 Printer which I purchased from your dealer
                          now I am facing another new problem with the 91N Cartridge.

                          On 24.5.2011 the printer was showing the Black color cartridge empty and the cyan color cartridge was showing low.
                          Accordingly I purchased a black cartridge from staples store malleswaram and when I replaced the black cartridge the printer was showing cyan empty and today when I replaced cyan it was again showing majenta empty and when that was replaced it was showing yellow low and when that was replaced it was showing black as low.! Are we liviing in India or some Timbaktu land!

                          Ironically Again when I printed two sheets with some 3 LINES of 36 fontsize as test all of sudden the Black cartriddge became empty.Remember I have only printed TWO sheets with a new cartridge of Black by spending Rs.240 and again when I am forced to spend Rs.720/.
                          What is the logic behind replacing the three cartridge when one becomes empty.?
                          Let the enlightend customers decide.!

                              bhai log koi epson company ki di hui gaurantee par believe na karna. apne aap woh log kabhi bhi gaurantee khatam kar dete hain. aur baad main bolenge [protected] par warranty update karwa lo. waha phone karo to bolenge hum log warranty update nahi kar sakte aise.. aap bill and printer leke service centre pahuch jaao. waha woh log apne system check karenge unke system main out of warrnty ho to bas apka bill kuch matlab nahi rakhta.

                              bewkoof banate hain . Inki to report banake Newspapers main publish karwa dunga. Dhoti khul jayegi EPSON KI.

                                Hi this is naveen garg. i have bought EPSON dot mattrixx printer on[protected] which serial number is G7XY010866.

                                EPSON have good name in DOT Matrix printers. But i think now they start compromise with quality. i have bought that printer in april 2008 and i had been complaint for that head service in august 2008. in 4 months its head stop working.

                                now in 2 years[protected]. they said warrnty for 2 years. now i called they said out of warrnty. its logic card not working. i had wipro printer before. i used it almost 7-8 years. and EPSON good name in DOT Matrix printer didnot worked 2 years properly.

                                so friends think about to buy EPSON Product .... u must not be wasting ur money.

FROM THAT DAY 10-12 TIME SERVICE EINGINEERS OF ESPON VISITED MY OFFICE TRIED TO REPAIR THE SCANNER BUT EVERY TIME THEY KEEP ON SCRATCHING /DAMAGING THE BODY OF SCANNER BUT NOT ABLE TO REPAIR IT, I SPOKE THEIR SENIOR PERSONS OF MUMBAI AND THANE BUT THEY REFUSED TO REPLACE MY SCANNER ON ANY CONDITION. NOW I DONT NO HOW MANY MONTHS IT WILL TAKE TO REPAIR MY SCANNER. PL. HELP ME TO GET REPLACED NEW SCANNER FROM ESPON , BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT ABLE REPAIR MY SCANNER FROM LAST ONE MONTH AND GIVE ME FRESH WARRANTY ALSO.

                                  PL. GIVE WARNING TO SUCH COMPANIES FOR NOT GIVING BETTER AFTER SALES SERVICE.

                                    !!!!!!!!!!!!! NEVER BUY EPSON PRINTER !!!!!!!!!!!
                                    I have bought Epson CX5500 and 91N black gives only 2 or 3 pages print and becomes empty. Color text print only 2 pages of a bank draft and cyan becomes empty. I think epson sells printer at a low cost and then makes money from cartridges its a trap A customer cheating policy.
                                    Epson makes printer like this. I[censored] make off and then ON the printer, at least 10% ink will be gone and becomes empty after 2 or 3 pages print with mode set plain paper. Even sometime system shows 60% ink with new cartridge after charging process.
                                    Actually 96% ink goes in charging process and 4% gets utilized in printing. Very bad cartridge chip eeprom settings
                                    I HAVE PURCHASED 3 TIMES within a month the 91N cmyk set(Rs. 1000 per set) in a hope that this set will work fine and a page print cost more than 200 rupees!!
                                    These printers are INK soaking GAINT
                                    ONly way: USE AUTO RESET CHIP with refillable cartridges which is not available in india.
                                    TOTALLY FALLEN INTO A TRAP.Finally I have discarded the printer to get out of the trap and planning to buy HP printer

                                      i have purchased epson tx101 3 months ago.There is no problem in it but its in finish very fast .Ink gets finished after 5 to 6 pages......plese help me to solve this problem

                                      hi everyone
                                      i am subhash from coimbatore,
                                      i bought this printer Epson TX101 last year and was very happy that i could use it moderately in home for my prints but all that dream was shattered like a mirror when i went to the printer shop and asked for the cartridges for the price. and finally i got 1 compatible black cartridge which costs rs 100 it worked perfectly
                                      and again my ink was out and this time was my colored ink i went to the same dealer and asked for the different colors for my printer which cost rs 300 for 3 colors and i got them and installed them,

                                      but they did not work i went and told them the same story but they refused and they said there must me some problem with the printer & also told they cannot do anything as this product does not have any warranty as they said earlier.

                                      with a hard heart i came home and figured out what could have actually gone wrong with these compatible use and throw cartridges, the ans was very simple the old cartridge was have a V6.0 chip at the back. but the new cartridge was V5.0
                                      Bingo i got the solution, , i got the chip from my old cartridge and just pasted it in the new cartridge and that worked but it said ink was low on the cartridge.. but that was Temporary

                                      and i searched for some refillable cartridge for the printer i got some info in alibaba.com it was the same chip which is used in my printer the V6.0 with auto reset .
                                      i contacted them but they are whole sale dealers for that so i have to order a minimum of 5 set of cartridges, which was not worth for me. and also i faced some problem during payment.

                                      and again i searched for the refillable in ebay.in and came across this dealer who promised me that same thing this was very cheap also and i made no hesitation in buying this product throu ebay.

                                      i got this prod delivered in my home and i installed in my printer and PERFECT

                                      my printer is back with life and working very fine.

                                        last year i got new printer of epson after 3 days its stops working and when i send it back to the dealers from which i purchased it after few days they give me that printer back and after twodays its stops work again and i give it back to the dealer from which i purchased that printer and he send back printer back to jaipur till know i didnt get my printer back and the officer of jaipur did not talk properly to customer and he soeak s rudely always b i call him two or three times abt my printer he ask me to talk wid that person whom i purchased and he ask me to call that person which work in company i think the workers means staff is irresponsible coaz they dont know hw to talk with customers and hw to satisfy them
