Today evening at 1800 hrs i approached to mukat hospital chandigarh for treatment of my ward as he was suffering dengue fever and dehydration at that time my son was having high fever and he was in unconscious state, but the hospital adm refused for the treatment. My son is every thing for me i told them i will pay all dues plz start the treatment, then they have started the treatment and they have shifted my son to icu, means it was extreme emergency but they refused for admission through echs and told me as my son is 18 yrs and above they will not treat him. This email is in regards to the misbehavior and refuse to attend attitude towards us.

Incident - today i bought my mother to echs polyclinic sec 47 chandigarh, where she was suffering from some brain issue. Also my wife and my 4 months daughter was with me. I asked my wife and my mother to get in, doctor - j. P sethi was the attendant. Firstly his behavior and attitude at the first go was very wired or ignorant. He said that we have already given you 1 month medicine and its 2 days still left for the completion of the month and how come you are here. My mother said that i am facing some medical health issue so i wanted you to have a look. She said that we went through some blood test which was advised by one of your doctors before, so we came along that report. The only change was the we were not carrying the hard copy of the report and we had that report in our email which my wife tried to show that report in the mobile. He simply denied saying that bring the hard copy only then i will check, else i wont. And without checking the reports he gave the medicines. I was out waiting for them to come out. While taking the medicine my mother told that he had not checked the reports and said that condition.

I went to dr. Jp sethi and said that my mother is facing some problem and instead of you treating her or checking her you are asking for the hard copy of the report. Atleast have a look at the report once. And then you advise what medicine is good for her. Without checking how can you give any medicine? What if anything worst happens?

He was adamant and said that i will not check until i dont have hard copy, and he upfront said that if anything happens to your, mother i am responsible for that. He said that i am ready to face any consequence if happens, i said lets go to oic and meet, he was not ready to move from his chair. He said if you want to complain to whomsoever go ahead, i am not scared of anyone. Look at the attitude. Atleast give one valid reason why you dont want to attend.

This was the time he made me upset. I asked him, shall i wait for anything worst to happen with my mom and instead of curing her i should come to you to blame you. Atleast check the reports, check her why she is facing such problem and then give the relevant medicine. He said that i have given her those medicine which she took last month. I mean how ignorant he was, this attitude simply shows how he just want to get rid of the patient and want to end the day just like that. He was not in mood to attend any one. Just that its the job so he is just letting it go without proper treatment.

Now his rude words, at the time i was arguing - who are you? Are you the prime minister? I am the doctor? How can you talk to me like this? I can cancel your all medicine for your whole life. I will put you behind the bars for the mis-behaviour, i am ready to face the consequences if anything happen. You dont know me and my approach.

I said sir i am simple citizen, may be not much status comparative to you. But i guess he is paid to serve us, his salary is just because he should take proper care o[censored]s. If your mood is upset due to xyz reason then please take a leave but dont let that hamper the patient. And what mis-behaviour, is that a pub or disco where i am drunk and mis-behavinig. That is the hospital and my mother is entitled for the echs service, and if echs doctor will ignore and misbehave then where will we go?

My father served the army, he fought for this country, 3 moths back he got expired, may be due those reason my mother is mentally not able to deal this and her health is going down. I am not saying to have pity on us, its just that atleast do your job and help the patient to get rid of his/her problem.

And later when he started shouting at me the staff members stepped in the cabin and without knowing they pulled me out and pushed me out. My 4 months old daughter was in my arms sleeping. They dint even had a thought, it might harm that small baby.

If he has such attitude of being the doctor and retired from the army, then i must say please take some action against such people, who is not doing there job properly and considering themselves a god.

If this was paid service then i can bet he would have not behaved in this manner and would have asked for more tests. He said that when you tiny people when have to pay the hospitals bills then you will know what medical services are, you are getting things in free of cost and over that you are fighting with us.

Is this right? The beaviour he carried was that correct? What if he just had a look at the phone and checked the report? It hardly makes the difference. He would have known the health issue and would have given the medicine accordingly.

Echs head - sir, i request you to come in my shoes and understand what i went through, if you think that this was not right then i request you to please take some action against dr. Jp sethi. It might be not only me but may be with others can happen in future. Before any blunder if you stop him to serve. Else he might kill someone one day and with the help of his approach and money he might get rid off.

We expect only one thing and that is army retired person whomsoever who is not able to pay the bills in private hospitals they have echs and they have trust, that atleast there is one place in india where he/she can avail the medical services without any cost. But i think some doctors in echs dont value there position and behave like god. Make them understand that they are paid to serve us, and that too in proper manner.

The staff who supported him without knowing anything and tried to harm me and my 4 months old daughter, might have done something to my mother and my wife too. I just felt threaten and came out of the echs knowing that it might not be safe for me and my family. I dont know the names of the staff but yes i can recognize them.

To whomsoever this is concern. I request you to take serious action, and until this is not resolved i will not stop sending emails, letter and many more.

Also i would be sending the hard copy to hqs and to md echs maj gen ashok kumar and where ever possible i can expect the action to be taken.

My father is an ex-army jco, he had to undergo for an eye surgery at aravind eye hospital, coimbatore, tamilnadu. The hospital insurance staff was totally disrespecting echs and screaming about the kind of troubles they go through with echs. Indeed they really hate processing echs requests. I really felt bad about indian army for the kind of support it provides to our ex army personals and ashamed about it. I no longer proud to be a son of an ex army officer.

Dear sir, I retired in oct 2003 From Indian Navy.ECHS was newly founded.They forcibly deduct the policy amount from our final amount.I filled all those forms and posted to ECHS HQ.but still I have not been Issued with the card also, since 14 years, every month ECHS is Receiving my medical allowance directly. I am not getting any service from ECHS.I am paying for medical treatment for my family.
They should shame for this .pl do the needful help to me.many times I complaint but not getting any reply from ECHS.

My mother is serious and referred to harihar hospital gutkar but she was checked by the dr sinha and even the staff is not treat well with us they said that only 2 patient was checked in one day is this justify.?
There are so many formality done by me but all in vain. At last i registered my mother as general patient then she was checked by the dr. Sinha.
If the hospital does not want to checkup the echs then cancelled the empanelledment of the said hospital

Myself aniruddha shinde son of pradeep shinde (Ex-serviceman). My father met with an accident on 1st may 2018, currently he is admitted in sancheti hospital pune. He requires some medical treatment which is not affordable. So i am trying to submit online application for echs, but somehow i am not able submit application online. So could you please check & let me know is there any alternative to submit the application.

The behavior of staff is worst they dont have manners that how to treat with senior citizens and many people there was also not good with the behavior of lady doctor i do not know the name of doctor but she is from any village name chehla and also there is no time of their lunch she is doing lunch on 11 am in the morning and instead of treating the patients she is busy with there any relative and also she is also got out one patient just to gossip with their friend

Sir mera name saurabh rawat hai. Mai apne father ko echs center chhapra me dikhane le gya tha. Unko khasi aur dam phulane ki problem hai. Sir oic echs ne unko uphar reaserch center pvt ltd chhapra me reffer kar diya. Waha aane ke bad unko gasologyst ne dekha aur medicine likha medicine lene gya to wo paise mangne lage aur unhone mere father ka ek blank paper par anguthe ka nisan laga liya. Maine puchha to bole bad me entry karenge.
Mai dawa nahi liya aur wapas echs center aaya unko pura bat bataya wo kahne lagin ki aap ko waha se medicine le lena chahiye tha. Unka likha medicine yaha nahi milta hai aur unka likha bhi hame samajh me nahi aata hai.
Sir jab ek bar reffer kar diya to medicine ki byavastha bhi wahi hona chahiye. Ye kya ki dikhane waha le jae aur medicine kahi aur se le. Kuch samajh me nahi aa raha mai kya karu pls help me.

I am kuldeep singh, ex-serviceman from signal corp indian army. I admitted my wife for treatment in base hospital. She was there for 4 days (File attached) but she was complaining that there is no care and cleanliness in base hospital and sometimes cockroaches can be seen on utensils and even in meal. I want to give my wife best treatment and for that i want her to be transferred in rr hospital, kindly give us permission for that.

My name is pradeep and i have admitted my father in oscar hospital jhajjar in emergency. But hospital have not sufficient doctors and facilities. Which care patient. So pls avoid this hospital and make out from panel of ex servicemen. Because they do not have enough care and good behavior against ex service men. Pls consider my grievance. Main 30 sep 2017 ko indian army se retire hua hoon. Mera pariwar nasirabad (Raj) mein hai. Meri daughter wahi class xii mein parai kar rahi hai. Mera parent echs policlinic gaya hai jo mera home se 70 km par hai. Main apne echs form par sign karane me liye do bar ja chuka hoon lekin sign nahi kiya gaya. Policlinic ka oc sahab pure pariwar ko gaya ke echs policlinic mein lane par hi echs form par sign karne ko bole hain. Mera pariwar nasirabad mein hai. Main jun 2018 tak apne pariwar ko gaya nahi la sakta kyonki meri daughter ka feb 2018 mein xii ka test hai. Meri wife blood pressures air sugar ka patient hain. Unko pet ka char bar major operation ho chuka hai. We hamesha bimar rahti hai. Iske sath - sath mujhe parent policlinic gaya se jaipur transfer karana hai kyonki main wohi par settle hoon. Please mujhe help kiya jay. Mujhe 4 nov ko wapas nasirabad jana hai. Jai hind.

I am a navy retired sailor, living in nasik (State - maharashtra).
Sir, in oct 2003, echs was newly founded & our releasing batch was ready to become a member of echs.
After all, the membership payment was deducted from our finial accounts. After became a member i am not getting medical allowance. Or not issuing echs card also.
After came to my home i filled all those forms and posted the same to echs hq in 2003. Since 2003 i am not getting any medical allowance nor issued echs card also.
I posted many complaints on echs complaints cell. But still today not received any reply from your office.
It is my humbly request to all those concerns please do something. Because i and my family not getting proper medical treatments. I am not able to pay in private hospitals.
Today, “i am requesting with joined my arms” please do the needful.

I put the complaint on oct 2016, now today is 12 sep 2017."is there anybody live in echs office. Still then i will keep to drop my complaint.

Dear sir, iam son in law of p l krishnaiah rank havildar (Retd amc) army no 13927952a. My father in law met with a cardiac arrest on 13/06/2017 at 5.30 am, we rushed him to madras medical mission at chennai in a emergency situation, where he was hospitalised and got discharged on 26/06/2017 during the hospitalisation period he incurred an expense of rs.2, 01, 913.

Due to emergency we couldn't take him to echs empanelled hospital.

Know when we are trying to go for reimbursement at echs hospital at avadi chennai, we are not given proper information about reimbursement, we have approached the co of echs avadi but no proper response, when ever we go with the documents asked by them but they are again asking for a new document. We are totally help less. The deceased person does not have any other source of income other than pension. Kindly requesting to solve the issue.

Hi sir/mam... My father in law admit in tongya heart and general hospital c scheme jaipur for aortic valve replacement (Avr) through echs. Last 3 days patient continue admit but still no advise for plan of surgery. Although patient all parameters and investigation are normal. And patient diet not available by hospital. Diet are purchasing by us. This is abnormal conditions for us. So i want to requesting to investigate all matter and take action against tongya heart and general hospital c scheme jaipur. Director dr prakash. Withdrawal this hospital to echs panel.

Present oi/c col mohapatra is inefficient to look after the echs balasore state odisha for following reasons :-

1. The ratio of civilians to ex servicemen is more.
2. He is not following the yojnas and planning of our honourable pm narendra modiji.
3. No toilet is available. Whatever toilet is there even dog will not pass there.
4. He has told me we do not have computer to read the echs card and the staff at this centre are not capable to verify the registration no of the echs card.
5. Yesterday (19/08/2017) i came to his office at 01.20 pm that time he was playing wid his mobile.
6. Please change the officer in charge.

Today i visited the sonipat polyclinic for some work and i asked the toll free number of echs from reception and surprised that they don't know that. There is more laughter part of the story is that receptionist send me to the oic room for same. When i asked the oic same thing he also doesn't know. Despite accepting his mistake he starts giving me lectures on unknown topic. His behaviour is rude and not proper for a organisation head. I request u to give directive to all polyclinic to display the toll free number on display board and advise oic to be polite and humble.

I would like to draw your attention towards the humiliation we experienced in echs polyclinic shakur bastia new delhi in last two days, on 12th may 17 when i reached in polyclinic shakir basti along with my mother for collecting mediclame's we came to know that none of the doctor is available so we can't get mediclame's we have to come again next day, my mother is approximately 80 year old and unable to walk her own. Today ie 13th may 17 we reached at 1100 hrs for the same purpose, got no-116 in room no-3, dr col s. S gupta was attending the patients we waited for five hour for our turn but dr col s s gupta refused to attend us because his duty time was over at 0400 pm we requested him many time saying that we are here for the same regular mediclame which we had last month but he didn't listen, we approached to oic col b s basaron but he failed to help us. At the same time dr monika deswal was attending the patient in room no-5 and got free well before time. She saw us waiting outside but didn't she help. My self along with three other patients no-113, 114, 115 waited for five hour in 42* celsius temperature but dr had no mercy to wait ten minutes extra. Oic was help less. We didn't understand whom to contact, i found this website through google and writing your with hope. Kindly do something so that we might not experience this humiliation in future.

Refer to my complaint id[protected]e) which was submitted in feb 2017. despite my requests and reminders col. r. malhotra has not replied to my complaint. my call on his mobile has not been attended.
As mentioned earlier in my complaint that i had personally discussed my problem with him in feb 2017 during his visit to echs noida. this complaint was made in the presence of col. sen oic noida echs. surprisingly, he has also not been able to address my complaint.
Should this be the attitude of our esteemed organisation while attending to complaints of veterans. kindly, let me know as to what the echs organisation is doing to solve my problem.in case no reply is received, i will be constrained to refer the matter to higher authorities.
