I was using the domain www.geetanjalimehra.com for the past 5/6 years, this year there was a bit delay in payment and it was put in auction, I bid also but it was given to someone else, is this a way to treat old clients, I spent so much money creating my website and it's all gone. As a consumer I want justice and immediate action on my complaint

    Hello Consumer Officials,

    I recently contacted Godaddy regarding backup and restoration of the hosting panel where 15+ websites were hosted by my clients. My whole family had been suffering from covid for the last 3-4months. And because of this I didn't get any chance to look into my hosting plans and all. After we recovered from covid I checked many of my clients saying that their websites were down.

    So i contacted Godaddy chat support on 16th July, and one of Godaddy chat support guy's(Arun P) told me sir backup is available and you need to wait for next 10days for the restoration. That day I tried almost 9-10times from different credit cards but payment wasn't processed(Issue at their end). At last in the evening it's done. And as per Arun's(support chat guy) saying i waited for next 10days means upto 26th July.

    And when I again chatted with a support guy Piyush P, he was telling me that he cross-checked with the server team and the backup is no longer available.
    Because of Arun's miscommunication I waited for almost 10days and now when I'm asking why it is not done, Piyush is saying that you haven't created or ask us to create a ticket for restoration.
    The thing is all my clients are harassing me like anything.

    I don't want to understand anything. Godaddy should have contacted me for restoration of the backup.

    It is not my duty, my duty is to pay for the services which I have used. And I paid 5k INR for the backup + 1year hosting panel charges.

    And even after paying and it's your side mis-communication, which affected me badly.
    They are saying now sir, we can refund you 5k, which you paid for us for back-up restoration. But I don't want this amount as I assured my Client's that Backup is available as said by their Chat Support Team, and now on 26th one of the other chat guy is saying the backup is deleted on the same day. When you want to delete it at least they must have uploaded the content on my freshly bought hosting but they deleted without knowing me and this led to my client's dis-satisfaction and now they all are asking me for their code compensation. There are almost 15+ clients who are asking me their code, and I'm helpless now.

    I want a total refund of 15lacs+GST(harassment + mis-communication charges) because all my clients are harassing me like anything or please restore the code on my current hosting plan ASAP, this is what i asked to Godaddy's people. And [protected]@godaddy.com(Arshad Qureshi) who is Lead C3 in Godaddy, he told me that he will only refund my 5k not more than that. But this is not done, he called me on 27th and told we can't do anything and it's not their mistake. He told me to check their Terms & Condition. But he didn't told me about their Backup Restoration Fees terms & condition, which wasn't there on their site. After taking 5k, and taking my 10days more, false assurance that restoration will be done within 10days, and after 10days they are telling me it's been deleted on 26th July only. I have all there chats.

    I have added the chats & call which are done on 16th July, 26th July and on 28th July with Godaddy Colleagues.

    Please look into this matter ASAP. Because I already waited for almost more than 15days and still it's not done.

    Please provide me with a refund of 15Lacs+GST or please restore all my code on my current hosting, this i told to Godaddy Officials but it's of no use. I think restoration is not possible for now.

    If you had paid in that day during chat itself, the agent should raise ticket. But I checked the history you paid after 3 hours and didn't informed anyone after that

      An UPI payment of 1073 rs was done via paytm on 14th june 12.23pm to GoDaddy for renewal and stuff through UPI reference ID:[protected]
      but the amount was deducted and the my service wasnt fulfilled despite this, i would like a refund for the above

        My GoDaddy cx id[protected]

        I have been using GoDaddy for the last 4-5 years. I was managing 3-4 business websites under my GoDaddy account. Today dates 8-apr-2021 around 8 pm I received an email, stating that my one hosting is flagged for malicious activity and we are going to suspend it permanently, and they deleted other products means my other business websites and domains as per their email.

        My other websites are down, I can’t access my websites, can’t access my website customer’s database.

        Now my complaint is regarding – if you find any malicious activity, then you could inform me once. So that I could check what was the problem and if you have to suspend that particular hosting, you could suspend that hosting.

        But how can they down my other business websites, they are not allowing me to access my database, my other domains and backups. What I purchased from them.

        Due to this action, I am losing business as my business is totally based on the online platform. How can they just block me?

        If they have a problem with me, then let me take my website back up and our customer’s database. And let me go I will use other hosting services. They do not have any right to hold my customer’s data, and domains.

        Who will be responsible for my business loss? It’s been 6 hrs now that my websites are down.

        Please help me, get my domains and our website data, They don’t have any right to hold my data. I paid them for the domains for the full year, for their hostings, SSL and backups. They don’t value my money. They just want me to waste my money.

        It's not fair at all. Tell me I will do everything to proceed further. Help me.

          I have a motoplast. In domain, if i mailling to same domain motoplast to motoplast there is no error, but i am unable to send mail from motoplast domain to gmail, as i send mail to gmail, then i instant return receive mail, motoplast. In has exceeded the limit 1/200 per hour, i have already discussed to godaddy team, but they are unable to resolve the issue, one thing i am unable to understand when i have purchase domain and web mail hosting from godaddy so who will reslove the issue, i am very disappointed to godaddy service, bcoz i am facing this problem last 15 days, but till date i have not got solution, very disappointed 😔😔 this was my big mistake i have purchase this domain as well as web hosting

              I have paid hosting renewal fees and my website is being pulled down. Customer care agents confuse me and took payments. Now they want me to pay again twice as much to host my website.
              Not just unethical but pure fraud.

                  I was paid money Rs.2817.84 for Renew WEBSITE+ MARKETING PLAN to GoDaddy on 3/December/2020, Money is deducted from my account same day but because of some error in the GoDaddy server that day my products not being renewed even after deducted payment from my account. from last month 3/dec/2020 to now godaddy executive making me fool that you will get it this and that but i still not receive my refund yet.
                  GoDaddy India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                  pls reply ?
                  Same problem with me. I've cancelled the domain but didn't received my refund yet. It has completed more than a 15days.

                    I had purchased hosting for a domain from godaddy in the month of August for a period of 3years and I want to cancel the hosting in the month of December i.e. I have already paid them the amount for 3 years for using their services but now when I want to cancel the service they are saying that they cannot refund the rest of the amount. I asked them that you can keep the amount for the number of months I have used your service and refund me the rest of the amount but they are saying that they cannot refund any amount at all, their subscription is also cancelled for hosting i.e. they are not providing me their services neither my money.
                    Please take necessary actions against them else like me many other customers would be bound to use their worst services.

                      Problem
                      Domain renewal done on September 03 2020 - Amount Rs.706.82 - Transaction failed and page not returned to GoDaddy Website

                      GoDaddy Customer - 169018XXX

                      First Complaint #[protected] Dated Sep 04 2020 - Complaint given by me

                      Second Complaint #[protected] Dated Sep 26 2020 - GoDaddy Supervisor created this, after receiving my bank statement

                      Both complaint closed with out any resolution or with out any confirmation

                      Customer Support:
                      3 Phone calls - Last one "October 9" - Lady support person said, issue will be resolved with in 2 days - "Billing department Contacting Payment Gateway CC Avenue and investigating issue"

                      8 Chat - Last one "October 13" - Agent name - Ibrahim - Supervisor name - Sangeetha Madam - Time - Over 90 minutes

                      Ibrahim said that refund process completed and complaint closed - When I asked Refund details like "Refund Date", he could not answer

                      Sangeetha Madam said that they need "My Personal Bank Statement from September 05 till date" to process complaint further - I requested her to open another ticket, she said that unless I give personal bank statement it is not possible to create another incident - She never answer to my question "Why GoDaddy closing complaints with out any email feedback or customer consent" - 2 complaints, both closed with out any consent

                      Sangeetha Madam Email - She said that she will be handling this issue and asked me to email the bank statement "[protected]@godaddy.com"

                      27th September - Chat with another supervisor "[protected]@godaddy.com" - I explained him difficulty of giving personal bank statement - He assured that issue will be resolved in 7 days - Phone support said that issue will be resolved in 2 days (4 days before) - Today incident closed with out any incident

                      Questions coming to my mind:
                      1 - GoDaddy Invoice date, amount are matching with Bank Statement - Bank statement clearly shown "GODADDY NAME" - See "SBI_GoDaddy.png" attachment

                      2 - Bank IFSC Code, Transaction Date, Transaction Amount are clearly visible - Will that not sufficient for GoDaddy Team to find the details - BANK IFSC "SBIN0002266" - Is that not easy for Godaddy to find details?

                      3 - Supervisor "[protected]@godaddy.com" assured me that issue will be resolved in 7 days on 27th September - Sangeetha Madam today said that "Bank Statement till date is must" to investigate further

                      Why GoDaddy asking my Personal Bank Statement for investigation - There may be 10 or 20 or more lines in last 40 days with my personal transaction details - Why should I give my personal statement for their mistake? Missing payment is Godaddy Issue

                      Today I have made another payment to renew my domain since domain renewal date Oct 19

                      3 Phone Calls - 8 Chats:
                      Each agent, supervisor keep saying different thing
                      End - No resolution after 40 days - Spent over 8 hours of chat time

                              We took a service contract from global service centre for elica hobb and chimney. Before taking the contact the vendor had said that burners had to be changed but after taking the contract for 10000 they said burners need be changed. Its been more than 10 months but our utensils are still getting blackened and burned while cooking.

                              The vendor is fraud and has not repaired the gas till date.

                              The complaint was filed on Saturday and it's already Wednesday, still the service centre has not responded to the call or even sent a serviceman to look at the stove.

                                They are dishonest and fraud company, They will steal your valuable domains. I was discussing to renew my domain with their customer supports because they were forcing me to pay high cost for private registration for renewal of my domains. I didn't want private registration.
                                As they not solving my problem and time was passing so, i decided to pay their blackmailed money to renew my domain. But they renew it by their own money and start selling it.
                                I have all proof. I contacted customer support. He told Now they will sell my domain at high cost to other customers.
                                This is very big fraud company. if you want to lose your valuable asset, use this company. They make money by stealing domains.

                                  I kept some money in store credit facility provided by godaddy for smoother checkout.
                                  But when i asked them to put back money in my bank they refused and asked me to use this to buy products or renewal.

                                  I my view its unethical and unfair too.
                                  I feel cheated.

                                  Please do guide how to resolve this issue

                                    I have couple of domains of my client that i manage and i was trying to renew one of the domain but for some reason am unable to make the payment. Nor am able to buy any domains. I contacted at least 4 times via chat and telephone over past 3 weeks and they have no clue to get this done and requesting me to wait.
