But hdfc is having a front end charges whereassome hav backends or mid charges or either hidden charges. but as yougstar is a child plan n for long term atleast 10 yrs, it ll give u better returns as compare to all other companies. as shown by irda. as a charge called fmc which is very harmful, that is very low in hdfc

It is hard to believe that a reputed company like HDFC SL will cheat customers so blatantly. It is true that commissions are exorbitant and in return no services, I mean NO services are offered and the commissions swallowed by the so called benami " financial advisors".They share it with HDFCSL employees. It is true that they sell policies after misleading you that it is all a good investment, better than stocks and mutual funds when it is not so. They do not respond to customer complaints and confuse the issues deliberately. All in all, HDFCSL is a major scandal. I am a victim and can give all details. I tried to explain it to HDFC SL but they have given no satisfactory answer and they resorted to outright lying by saying they could not contact me over the phone. It is time IRDA and SEBI expose all this threadbare and offer relief to the beleagured customers. I am willing to cooperate with any one.

    MY Name is Stephan and I have a home loan with HDFC(MA/1621340).. I am planning to go for another home loan worth 50L with HDFC, so I need to preclose my existing loan(11L). I managed to payout that 11L from my savings. I have given a cheque on 15Dec2007 and cheque got realised to HDFC on 20th Dec2007. My loan account got closed.. But till now I have not got my papers back. I have already made almost 20 calls. nothing is resolved, atlast I got in touch with Mahesh(HDFC-Annasalai-chennai)email id : [protected]@hdfc.com. Now he is asking for the proof of my payment. I do not understand what is the logic of proof, if money got credited to HDFC account and my loan is closed, I do not understand why that person is asking for proof.

    I am now thinking whether I should go to HDFC for my second loan... HDFC SHOWS GOOD SERVICE WHILE TAKING LOAN BUT IF YOU WANT TO PRECLOSE IT, THEN IT IS A BIG PAIN WITH THEM. Some body help me in this one...

      Dear Sir / Mem,

      I Nirmal Choudhary, Age 27 Yrs, residing at D-5, 212, Gorai-2 Borivali (W), Mumbai -92 since last 1 year. I have credit card account with HDFC Bank (Credit Card No. [protected]) in Andheri Branch – Mumbai.

      I got credit card bill amount Rs. 43643 on date 16th Dec. 07 (Due date will be 11th Jan 08). I drop a cheque amount Rs 43643 on date 2nd of Jan 08 to HDFC Bank in Aurangabad Branch and this cheque not cleared till date i.e. 10/01/08 . I am constantly following HDFC Bank Andheri branch regarding my cheque clearance but they are not able to give me any sufficient reason for delaying in my cheque clearance.

      On date 09/01/08 I got call from Credit Card Customer care & they informed me that my credit card bill amount increased from Rs 43643 to Rs 44370 due to delay in payment.

      I request you to please have a look on above issue and take strict action against the concerned person

      I also request to HDFC Bank to deduct the extra amount that is Rs 674.56 (Rs 43643 - Rs44370) charges on me due to delay in Payment because this delay occur only because of HDFC Bank.

      SVITS indore — monthly statement

      I have a Credit Card acc. In Hdfc Bank. My acc .no. : [protected]. On 29-April 2009, I convert one transaction amount of Rs. 15, 000 into EMI. But still My availability limit shows 15, 000. I want to Know the Exact Credit available Limit of my Card. Customer Care Executives will not give proper information about this.
      Kindly consider this case and Let me know the Exact Credit available limit in my acc. and solve this error and will not continue in future.

      I have done a shopping of 7300Rs on 20th Aug09 using HDFC Credit Card..so as per HDFC bank rule i should get 45 days for my payment..and even after 45 days i dnt pay the amount then bank can charge late fees from customer...
      Now in my case i have shopping on 20th Aug and bank is sending me statement on 22ndOct and that too with a late fees of around 1300Rs (i.e 650x2 months)..And after a day or two after recieving a statement i got a call from lady named Shweta.Kadam from andheri branch([protected]) saying that she is from creditcard dept and sending a person for collection of 400Rs on urgent basis..i paid that 400/- on same day to that guy and plus 8000 after that in bank...I explained whole matter to her..and she said their is some mistake from bank and she has sent the request to her head office in chennai about the difference of 1300/-...
      i am not getting that my 45 days period has still not over then also bank is charging me with the late fees.. and customer is not getting enough support from customer service...and this lady shweta kadam is too fooling for last two weeks now... i am not getting exactly where to go and whom to complaint to get my 1300Rs...
      Plz try and help me out...

      ds iz siraj here,m very much unhappy regarding u r bank service.m a fd account holder 4m last 10 months.where i get a credit card on base of my fd accont.whene ever we visited to residency branch in bangalore,we have to wait for more then a hour to contact a counter executive.so becouse of ds resone i surrenderd my credit card and request for cancel a card 0n 4th of feb 2010 with writen letter and executive replies it will take 14 working days to cancel.after few days, that iz on 22nd feb i again visited the same branch.after long hour of waiting
      i got the result from executive dt u have to come on 11th of march bcs still a credit card nt yet cancel till dt date u can;t withdraw a fd accont.y dt much sober
      peoples working in u r bank.those people r spoiling the image o[censored] r bank.and pls make my payment back from my fd account from u r lazy bank

      This is to inform you that I am credit card holder of your bank and holding the above mentioned card and paying my credit bills in time and I have maintained good relationship with bank.

      In this regard I further inform you that due to death of my nearest relatives I had been to my native place where I got a call on my cell from one SMT.MINAL YADAV, from your chandivali branch Mumbai from her mobile no.[protected] and[protected] who allegedly told me that my address given for obtaining the said credit card is false and she was talking very rudely and in inhuman manner, she was unnecessarily interfering with my personal and family matter as well as my religion without any reason. She uttered me that I have no office or any house and I have obtained this card with the intention of cheating the bank. I am very frustrated with kind of service that you provide to the customers.

      In this connection I would like to inform you that I am having this office since the year 1971 and that also in a reputed area in Mumbai. Besides this I am genuine businessman and I am holding number of credit cards from many other banks. She has purposely tried to blame me and my family thought I have no relation with her.

      Due to above reason I am very much depressed and harassed by your above bank employee and anything happens to me then your bank shall liable and responsible for such act, because I am a heart patient. So before anything goes wrong in further to take immediate actions against her so that in future she will not dare to do such act again with any other customer, if you don’t take any actions against her I will escalate this matter at the top level of your company otherwise I may think to keep a relation with your bank or not?

      Your early actions in the matter shall be highly appreciated.

      My name is K V R murthy, having credit card since 5 years and paying outstanding amounts.
      But last from 4 months i could not meet to pay my outstanding amounts in times due i am
      not have job at present due to my health problem. The same informed to your people who are
      called me regularly.
      As I feeling very bad condition in my financial position (at least not paying house rents also in time)
      I requested to you kindly give me 3 to 4 months time to clear my outstanding amount completely.

      If you are consider my case, it will help to getting recovery from mentally and fiscally as early.

      Your people regularly dist rubbing even though taking medical check, insisting rudely at my house
      to my family members, If it is continuously happens there is no way to take last decision. If anything
      will happens to me, your people only take total responsible to my family. So kindly understand
      my position and give me time to pay balance amount at a stage directly.

      And also at present i am not using my credit card since 9 months, but debit balances is continuously
      increasing in your statements.

        Dear Sir

        I am a holder of saving bank account in HDFC Bank ltd and I hold a credit card of the same bank. Without any intimation or information to me, bank transferred my saving bank money to credit card outstanding, which was kept for my monthly installments of loans. Even the credit card people are harrasing me for non making payment of my outstanding which is more than my expenses amount after making payments of all my expenses dues.
        I have talked to credit card people several times even visited to their office at chandivali but not a single person was ready to meet me.
        Now the bank is not responding properly and credit card department is writing mails to me regarding the hidden policies of bank regarding credit card payments.

        You can approach DISHA to sort out your payment situation with the bank. DISHA is a NGO floated by the banks and they talk to the banks on your behalf if you have a genuine pay back problem and the banks typically give you an EMI plan to sort out the situation:

        I am also facing the same type of problem with the said bank . am a holder of saving bank account in HDFC Bank ltd and I hold a credit card of the same bank.         As I have settled this my car payment with them on phone, and as per their advise i paid the half of my dues ason date march .2008 and was suppose to pay the balance 50% of the dues to clear all my dues in April 2008 after receiving the full and final setlement letter per mail as advise by the credit card staff named Sahil . Ever since i did my firsty payment have talked to credit card people several times even visited to their office at Rajauri garden but not a single person was ready to meet me and even told me that ther is no such person by the Name of Sahil . Hence i failed to pay the Balance amount and now again HDFC has held my saving banl account where my monthly salary is credited.

        Now the bank is not responding properly and credit card department is only trying to pass on with the 15 days of the said time tranfer all my salary amount to the Credit card payment .

        I am really in a bad state of mind and really do not know what to do, as all my efforts talking to HDFC Credit card and SAving bank people is of no help .

            Hi,

            My name is paresh i am using HDFC credit card from last 3 years and got relocated to Chennai.. i called up customer service to change my address on couple of occasions but they did'nt. I called up them again in the month of Sept'07 regarding my payment that i have no access to my statements since its on my orignial address and i dont know how much i have to pay again they didnt changed my address and my charges keep on pilling up for almost more than a yrs now. In the month of Oct'07 one of the recovery agent from HDFC bank went to my jaipur adress thats the orignial address on a/c and abused my Mother. He ,iterally abused her and used really unprofessional language and treat her to pay otherwise they kill her. As my monther is window and she is satying alone there she was afraid and was in shock. She is sufering from BP and due to all these stress she has to hospitalised fro 2 days. I called up HDFC dept and had word with there call center head Mr. Tejendra Zutsi regarding the same and since than nothing is happening form banks end and even till noe recovery people come to my place and at time they talk to mother mother in same tone. if this is the same behaviour they continue. Please help me with this.
            How can i make payment till the time i dont have access to my statements? And after requesting couple of times for address change they are not ready to change it...

            mera naam arvind nath purohit hai or maine hdfc bank se silver credit card liya tha jis mai mujhe 15, 000=00 rs ki limit dee gayee thi jisko ki maine loan ke liye kaam mai liya or mujhe ye loan 24 month mai jama karna tha. meri 900 pm instalment huee jo ki mai lagatar jama karwa raha tha ho sakta hai ki 1ya 2 month mai jama nahi karwa paya is ke baad inhone kabhi 1800 rs to kabhi 2900 rs kabhi 3909 rs is tarah ki instalment ke letter bhejne start kar diye or ki bhi help line wale se baat karo to bolte hai ki late fee 500 rs hai cheq bounce hua hai uske 500 rs hai or ye rs ham aapke account mai se recover kar lete hai or cheq bounce bata kar per month 2600 se kam ki instalment ka letter nahi de rahe hai jab ham puchchte hai ki itni rs ki instalment kaise ho gayee to court ki dhamki dete hai mera bhai jisko poliyo hai usne bhi is se credit card se loan liya tha usne bhi ek baar 2000 or ek baar direct 6000 fir ek baar 750 rs ek baar 900 ka payment kiya hai uska abhi due balance 15000+1892 rs due bata rakha hai to aakhir ye itna rupee gaye kaha aisa konsa loan hota hai jis mai 15000 to balance hi rahe or baki sab rs interest mai cut kar liye jaye mai aapko ham dono bhaiyo ke credit card no. bhej raha hoo please aap is matter ko solve kare nahi to ham dono ko bahut loss ho raha hai. ab ye pata lag gaya hai ki is bank ka itna profit kaise bad raha hai.

            COMPLAINT FOR RECOVERY OF RS.35, 000/-


            Respected Sir/Madam,

            The complainant is account holder of Account No.[protected] maintained with H.D.F.C. Bank Ltd. Branch Gujranwala Town, New Delhi.

            The complainant has been duped of Rs.35, 000/- by the representative namely Mr. Sanjay Kumar Kushwaha, Employee Code No.CS-14706 of the above said bank who had opened the said bank account and was pursuing for credit card/loan for the complainant and in that process misused a cheque of the complainant fraudulently.

            The said person forged the signature of the complainant and withdrew Rs.35, 000/- vide cheque No.0474559 dated[protected] by issuing the cheque in favour of Mr. Lalan. The complainant has nothing to do with the said transaction and/or with Mr. Lalan.

            The complainant had already lodged complaint in this regard with police on[protected]. The complainant has also lodged the protest with the aforesaid bank. But no amount has been recovered in favour of the complainant.

            Therefore the complainant request and authorized you to take up the issue with the said bank and get recovered the said amount of Rs.35, 000/- in favour of the complainant.

              my acct. no.[protected] at paradise branch code no[protected]:223174 my previous employer walsons from delhi had stopped payment during the month of sept/oct 2005 for the amount of Rs 3100/- or so. They, walsons is not persuing the case and are not the least bit bothered. I lost my wages of Rs 36000/- and now I have to run in circles to get the small amount of Rs 3100/- released. What do I do ? The bank will say get a NOC from walsons which will never happen , next step , the amount in dispute stays on as a ledger balance forever in my account ? Who benefits from this issue ? The bank of course.The fact is that the money is there in my account- Ledger Balance and will remain there till such time some executive reaches out to help this guy , with no loss to the bank nor to himself , just being Good and Just in his job of responsibility. God find One.

              hi,
              i applied for HDFC credit card, and normally with other banks, once the verification is over i vl get a refernce number through sms, but i never recieved any info from hdfc bank,So i called csutomer support to learn about this ,and they asked my mobile number and finally i got a reply ."its in the fianl stage of process... ,i[censored]r appliaction is approved ,u will get the card within 4 to 5 days", anyway after a weak i again gave a call to customer support,"i got the same relply"...So wats hapenning? i dont have a proper way even to check my application status.. iam worried to bank with these guys..iam not worried abt the status of the application , iam worried abt my documents which i produced to the agent..Dont have any option to check the application status online?

                I had HDFC Credit Card between[protected]. My last transaction on the card, is payment of Rs 25000, probably sometime in Sept 2005. After which I havent made any purchases nor payments, so I was not receiving any statement. But after a few months after Sept 2005, I started receiving statement which contained only "Late payment fees" and "service charges". I called up HDFC customer care and asked for details on the late payment fees many times, but they coudnt give any details because my card was blocked. So I didnt make any payment. A couple of times some recovery agents called me asking for payment and my response was that if I get my statement, I shall make payment whatever I am liable for. Then everything stoped no phone calls from agents and neiter any statement from bank.
                But now again, after more than 18months, I being hounded by recovery agents for some small settelment amount. I am not willing to pay any amount unless I get my statement.
                Can I use "Right to information" (RTI) act against this bank to get my statement? Anybody who have used RTI act, please respond.

                  In the month of sept/oct 2005 my previous employer walsons security, failed to make my settlement & requested me to issue a letter so that the amount deposited in my account i.e. Rs 3100(or so) could be retrived by them, to which I refused,my settlement was never made by walsons which was 36,000/- & the said amount remains in my account since then. What do I do now, please do not ask me to get a letter from them-walsons. Is there a time frame ? The cash has been there for to long on the ledger balance !

                    I have a salary account in hdfc bank in U N BRAHMACHARI BRANCH ,KOLKATA. I used to have a credit card of HDFC bank (no links with my saving accounts) which i have surrendered due to billing dispute by them four months before by paying all the dues acxept the amount which was wrongly charged by them.
                    actually i had booked one home theater costing Rs6000/through HDFC SHOPPING over phone ,but as of now i havent recieved any product nor any written communication about that product but suddenly they started charging the EMI OF rs 1000/. i called the credit card department they said this will not happen in next billing and asked me to pay the rest amount ,i did the same . but again the same thing happened then i have written mail to them asking for the details if they have given me such product . but they didnt do so and started harrasing me o ver phone . i got mentally rustrated and then stopped credit card.
                    but i continued to have mine saving account with HDFC bank.
                    now yesterday the bank has debited 11,026/ from my saving account to the credit card department internally.
                    i really got upset . i went today to my hdfc bank to meet branch manager there , she refused to talk to me and ask me to talk to credit card section in other place .
                    I am really upset and in dilema about this .please advice.

                    HDFC Bank — Wrongly Rs.15000 is Debited from Savings A/c

                    Hi,

                    On 28th Nov 2008, Rs.15000 has been debited from my HDFC savings account in favour of "HOLD FUND RELEASED LAN # 2673985". I dont know what is this Loan Account Number and i dont who's this LAN #. I called HDFC Customer Service(Banaglore) 4 times, but till today no response. Even i dont have any email id to send a strong email about the invalid entry in my account. But i dont have.

                    Please help me to get it solved. If you need more information, please let me know.

                    Rs 15000 wrongly debited in my Saving account.

                    Due to ATM machine fault, we could not get money but showing debit of Rs 15000/-. in Kolkata New Market branch.

                    When went to SBI new market Kolkata branch for the complaint then I have been told to go to taht Bank where in Saving account has been opended that is Exhibition Road Patna and Patna branch is saying to go to New market Kolkata branch.

                    I got fed up, because of loss of money & problem has not been solved.

                      Let me narrate you the things happened that day very clearly. I alongwith my friend Mr. K.V.Mohan visited M/s Mobile Hut Electronics Singapore on 18/06/07 and purchased the following items :-
                      1) Nokia N-95 with accessories
                      2) Sony Portable Playstaion with accessories

                      The above items total amount came to SGD 1,570.00. Firstly We were giving them him cash but the vendor insisted to pay the amount in credit card as it would be advantages for us as we can enjoy the credit limit and we are not also required to pay credit card transaction fee. So we agreed to pay through credit card. I took out my HDFC credit card out of all other credit card available with me to swipe. He swiped the card in the machine present in his shop but didn't got any feedback in return, he again swiped but same thing happened and then he called up some bank guy to check why their is no feedback coming after swiping, they told that their is some server problem and you have to wait. The shop representative told me that he would take me to the neighbouring shop of their where we will swipe the SGD 1570.00 as the transaction is not happening at their shop credit card swiping machine. I went with him to the other shop and he swiped my card in the credit card swiping machine in that shop and in front of me we got a slip of SGD 1570.00 being transacted. The slip was from DBS bank and I have already forwarded that slip to HDFC Bank. I signed the slip as accetance and after that we got the bill and the GST return form for SGD 1570.00 from the shop. I have only signed in one lip of SGD 1570.00. Hw come this slip of SGD 590.00 came into picture, this slip never came in front of me and neither signed by me, that means the shop owner has doen some fraud when my card was swiped first in his own shop but we never got any slip and we have to move to other shop. Please trust me if I would have made a payment of this amount I would have never asked HDFC Bank intervention, see my record, if I can make payment of SGD 1570,00 then why the hell I should flight for SGD 590.00 payment. You guys should understand the client problem who has been loyal to your bank instead of harassing him and supporting the merchant who has done this fraud.
                      Tell the merchant to produce the bill for what I have purchased for SGD 590.00 and why the GST of the same was not included with the GST form they have filled for SGD 1570.00 transaction. I have already submitted my credit card for cancellation to HDFC Bank and due to this type of irresponsible behaviour from HDFC Bank, I would never recommend anyone for the same. I won't pay this balance amount until my views has been heard and justified that Iam liable to pay this amount. If I have to go to court or to media for the same I would do the same because I dint want any other customer to suffer like I did because of the irresponsible behavior from HDFC Bank.

                      this is to your kind notice that an amount of RS. 5618 (Rupees Five Thousand Six Hundred Only) Was deducted from my HDFC CURRENT ACCOUNT NO:[protected] by the name AMERICAN OPTICS, MARGAO. In order to install Swipe Machine, The amount of RS. 5618/- was charged. where as the Swipe Machine was not install at all.

                      The Branch Manager Mr. Desmand Crasto told me to close the current account but to my surprise the amount of RS. 5618/- was not refunded to my account.

                      Therefore it an request to you to kindly refund my amount of RS. 5618/- which was deducted from my account on 26/02/2009.

                      Incase the above matter is not settled I will be forced to take a legal action.

                      I know this not your department but you should get to know what happened behind. Last week i got swipe machine in my shop, Dilip Patil(Mb no.-[protected]) and engineer Ramdas(Mb no.-[protected]) came to install machine, that guys dont know how to installed machine, they gave me reason for data cord is not connected with new machine. I said ok fine then they replace my machine again they have same problem that when I was going out to talked to my client on phone that time Ramdas has swiped demo credit card and attached receipt to form. When I asked without data cord how you connect machine? And how your transaction is done? He said i took reprint.
                      They both people were making us fool. I launched complaint against them but no reaction at all then i called customer care, i got MRM Rushikesh(Mb no.- [protected]) mobile no. I told him each and everything but he said dont worry tomorrow i will send my member he will solve your query, still my machine is not working no one can take serious attendance, plz sir now I dont want HDFC swipe machine because I suffer from this service, I suffer from that kind of cheap people who crash HDFC brand name.
                      They dont do there duty well I hope you will do.

                        Dear All,

                        HDFC is not able to give the porper service to the customer the reason is.

                        I Applied in the month of May for loan as nashik (as property at Nashik) with the processing fee and documents after one month HDFC rejected my application stating that I have to apply at kalyan branch as I am residing at Kalyan.

                        Applied at kalyan branch in the month of June ( Documents & processing fee cheque collected directly from nashik branch. Only asked to fill the new form).
                        Sanctioned the loan, recd. SMS on Mobile.
                        Till date I have not received the hard copy of Sanctioned Letter by courier/post ( Xerox of Sanction letter collected personally from kalyan branch)

                        Submitted all the required documents at kalyan branch. Kalyan branch forwarded it to nashik branch for legal & technical verification.
                        Nashik branch asked to submit fresh documents three Times ( Different-different Document asked by bank every time)

                        Submitted all the documents in the month of Nov. at nashik branch.

                        Now the thing is this till date I have not received any posotive feedback from kalyan branch. While enqiring at branch, today the executive of branch told me to collect the file from branch as they are not able to give the loan due to some internal problem ( Engineer is not taking responsibilty to create the property in their system)

                        Please do the needful if possible

                          I had the worst experience in my life with HDFC bank, and I am expecting a response from a senior person from HDFC who would understand me.

                          I work as a support engineer in a BPO for Microsoft, An unfortunate incident happened with me when I was traveling by local train when I realized that someone picked my pocket and I lost my purse which contained 4 credit cards and Rs.650.00 my personal diary two debit cards and one ATM card and few of my personal stuffs.

                          This happened with me while I was going back home after my shift at 06.30 am. I rushed to the bank and blocked all the cards that I had so that no one could misuse it.

                          I walked around 8 KM to reach the bank since I had no money to pay the bus fare. Finally I reached HDFC bank so that I could get some cash for the next day to go to office.

                          I spoke to the Branch Manager Name Namrath Kotian (Emp. Code : N0025). She said he would only give me the money if I have the check book with me, and I have no other option available.

                          I explained her about the whole incident happened with me, and informed him that I stay far away from the railway station and it is around 16 KM away and I don’t even have a single penny to go back home. And I have a 2 year old account with HDFC and I haven’t used a single check am not sure i

                          She repeated the same script and kept ignoring me.

                          I requested if I could give a written request. She said it up to her to decide, and she would not accept it.

                          Then I had to leave and walk 16 KM to home, even after having money in my account. I am not sure if she was following the company’s rule, or she was misusing her designation power.

                          And if it the company’s policy I would never ever use HDFC credit or debit card. Because policies are made for the convenience for the customer and not for harassment.

                          This could have happened to any body, and if this the treatment that we will receive from HDFC I think no one would open a account.

                          The Branch Manager Name Namrath Kotian (Emp. Code : N0025) also gave me this in writing that she cannot give me cash without debit card or Check book.

                          I wanted to bring this to your notice so that this can be avoided in future.

                          And also want to inform you that I am very dissatisfied and disappointed with the service.

                          my debit card cannot use me for fund transfering.error is coming {debit card detail not present}.
                          I am starting to have same opinion about HDFC as you. They want an FIR for lost ATM cum Debit card.
                          1. WHY was i given a Debit card when i wanted only an ATM card !! >>>>???
                          2. My signatures are not there on the Debit card transaction. WHY was it honoured??? I cannot be responsible!

                          everyone reading this , HAVE to push the banks to oblige!
                          I completely with you Kochumon, If I would have been in you place I would have sued the bank for this type of service.

                          Did you read that para “the bank manager gave it in writing that she cannot give him cash without debit card or Check book”

                          It seems, it is a policy set by the bank not to give customers there own money without a check book or debit card.

                          So HDFC bank wants there customer to carry there checkbook and debit card together wherever they travel, so that they can use these check book in case of theft or loss of debit card.

                            hello,

                            I had deposited my DD at hdfc bank counter on 10/12/07..
                            DD was of hdfc bank itself, maximum of 3 days were asked for clearence.

                            - but till date there is no trace of my DD

                            - i complained to phone banker on 13 and since every day i contact them.... but no use.

                            - i personally contacted the branch manager-Ram Lulla 2-3 times.. the guy commited me to call me but i never did rescive any call from bank. i felt he was of no use..

                            It was my 1st sallary DD... and HDFC has given me the above service....

                              I HAVE'T RECEIVED MY CREDIT CARD BUT BANK EXECUTIVES CONTINUOUSLY CALLING ME FOR THE PAYMENT(i.e. rs 1400) OF THE CARD.
                              THEY LITTRELY IRRITATING ME BY CALLING IN MY OFFICE PHONE 30-40 TIMES IN A DAY.
                              I CALLED TO MR ANKUR (AT PH[protected] TIMES TOLD ALL THE PROBLEM BUT THERE IS NO ACTION TAKEN BY THEM.
                              PHONE WAS FROM HDFC BANK RAJOURI GARDEN BRANCH (MS. KANIKA).
                              I TOLD THEM IF THERE WILL BE ANY FURTHER PAYMENT IN FUTURE I WILL BE NEVER RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS.

                              False credit card payments

                              I am holding HDFC 2 Credit Cards.

                              I have collected the Customer copy from executives for the payment and executive has mentioned clearly on the receipt like "No Dues and clear the amount" and executive has collected the Credit Cards from me.

                              After 2 months again i am getting so many calls from Agencies to pay the payment without using the card and cards are collected on 08/02/2008. Regarding this i have talked to bank people and i have sent mail also but i didn't receive any response from bank side.
                              But till now i didn't receive any response from Bank but i am getting calls from (rajouri Garden, New delhi) from agencies and they are talking fallaciously words with my family and to me also.

                                  Tell me why a person takes a loan?? because he is badly in need of money. Now he is deprived of the money, is this the small issue??

                                  You are living in the competitive world, if you cannot deliver, pls do not be in the business.

                                  Pls refer my mail for god shake, i have asked to write the name of person writing to me and one who has taken the final stand on the issue. Over the phone, I have also informed the same and the officer calling was having no answers to some of my basic questions.

                                  I will only be satisfy when i get reply point by point (pls put remarks) under my each point.

                                  If the mistake happened from your side, why i had to run to locte that mistake has happened?? What will happen if I make the mistake???

                                  If your system is under fault, why am i one who is suffering??

                                  Pls reply me on each of the point at the earliest with the authority who has taken the final stand.

                                  Otherwise, I dont see any reason in paying remaining instalments of my loan and will discontine my savings and fixed deposit account with the bank.

                                  i am also attaching the last mail which clarifies that i am not interested in the apology, i want the final stand of the bank on the issue taken by some senior member.

                                  DETAILED COMPLAINT:

                                  A/501, Rosewood Estate, Jodhpur Road, Satellite, Ahmedabad - 15

                                  1) Applied for HDFC personal loan through Net
                                  2) Call was received from lady - Sweta telling that she is calling from HDFC Bank directly.
                                  3) Documents for the loan collected on 06/June/2007 and loan was approved on 08/June/2007.
                                  4) A SMS was received on 08/June regarading the loan approval and approval number is 11599779
                                  5) Agreement was signed on 11/Jun/07 (Monday) morning and three cheques were submitted.
                                  6) It was promised that amount of loan will be deposited on 12/Jun.
                                  7) No amount was received on 12 june. Not even on 13 june
                                  8) There was consistent no replay from the number of Sweta who co-ordinated.
                                  9) On calling phone banking for more than 3 times and visiting Naranpura branch, there was call from Sweta telling that they have made mistake in calculating EMI amount and fresh trhee cheues to be issued.
                                  10) Fresh cheqes were issued and it was confirmed that amount will be credited by 10am on next day.
                                  11) In anticipation of confirmed deposit, cheque was issued to from the account.
                                  12) Had to request to the party two times to not deposit the cheque.
                                  13) Again on 14/Jun, no amount was credited
                                  14) Visitednearest Vejalpur Branch of HDFC Bank.
                                  15) They have given number of officer. Officer had told that it was mistake on the part of DSA the incidence had happened, and promised that he will try to deposit the loan before banking hours.
                                  16) Loan was depostisted ultimately at 15.40 on 14/June.

                                  THEY CALL IT EXPRESS LOAN. That means, amunt was of no-use on14/June also.
                                  17) Subsequently, cash amount was to be deposited in the account of the party.

                                  Consequences:

                                  1) The incidence badly affect the credit. 17% interest was paid only to ensuretimely payment to the creditor.
                                  2) Continuous two days wasted on follows
                                  3) Bank should repay for amount of time,money and enry wasted on follow-ups
                                  4) Bank should clerlfy the actions taken on the officers
                                  5) Loan cannot save the credit, that means should be made interest free

                                  LAST MAIL CLARIFIES THAT MATTER CANNOT BE CLOSED

                                  Do you know who has signed that letter??

                                  have u read the mail i send in reply of the letter??

                                  if the mistake has done by your employes, why there was no call?? why the phones were no reply??

                                  i had to visit two braches and make over 50 calls to locate problem created by you. even the senior officer did not picked up the phone.

                                  pls note that what you have writeen in the letter is not the factual. pls locate the problem in house first, ratehr than markeing it close.

                                  and i hv several time reported that apology is not the solution to the proble, do u know u r talking to the customer??

                                  i have never before raise point of repayment of loan, but it is total irresponsible replies fm ur side made me writing the same.

                                  i do not understand why dont u keep the previous mails in the loop while replying.

                                  I am not going to pay for the loan at all. I will not pay any instalment from now on. i will pay instalment on the annual basis??

                                  How come you just let the troubles happen to me by just saying the apology?? I have lost my credit to the party and have lost continuous gain i was getting?? your apology signed by some junior does not have any meaning.

                                  It was after five days of continuous follow up and pains, i have been able to get the disbursement. and so called ur department never lifted the phones, right from the junior to the senoir most.

                                  There should be punishment for whatever happened and i should get compensation for whatever pain i have undergone.

                                  I think Bank is geeting fun out of the issue.

                                  Have received the stereo-typed apology letter with Ref No: RA/CSD/2007/CSE2/702 dtd August 10, 2007.

                                  Letter is written in the name of Mr. Amitabh Sinha (I do not know who is he!!) and signed by someone else. Is the bank making fool of its customer??

                                  The letter further say that officials have explained the things. I have never received any explanation and have asked to explain the matter only in WRITTEN. How can you say the matter is closed without confirming with the consumer?? why wrong information is given and admitted by customer service??

                                  I have raised query point by point as given below and expect reply Point-by-point.

                                  Please do not waste my more time on the stereo-tyed replies and revert point-to-point and set the timeline.

                                  Havealready raised matter on core.nic.in and on non-receipt of the satisfactory reply, will furhter raise to the appropriate levels.

                                  Major issue is delay in loan disbursement has affected the crdit lot. Time of three days, enery and money wasted on follow ups to get the load disbursement.

                                  this is to bring in ur notice that i took a business loan from hdfc bank ref.no[protected] dt 26/9/2007 of 5.0 lacs and the monthly installments were of rs 18080/= they were regular after a period of six months i recieved a call to enhance my loan i was not in a mood to enhance but the sales person and sales manager put a huge request that i was not able to say no to them.and my loan was enhance from 5.0 lacs to 8.5 lacs reducing my paid installments and installments became of 30000/= aprox.against a/c no.13090549 and ref no[protected] and it was about to start from 7/6/2008 but on 10/5/2008 a cheque of rs 18080/= was cleared from my personal a/c of sbi agra.i was surprised and when i called sales rep. he was also surprised .anyhow after 3-4 days i recieved a cheque of rs 18080/= in the name of my firm i immediately rushed to the bank and asked why it is so? miss vinita sitting on customer care replied to write a letter and we will make a new cheque in ur name, i returned the cheque and a request letter in the name of bank to kindly issue the cheque in my personal name as it is being cleared from my a/c .now after one month has passed i m continuosly going to the bank and making calls to get my cheque.on 10/6/2008 when i made a call on phone no[protected] miss vinita replied it will take at least 4-5 days more to return the cheque, i asked bank is using my money who is responsible she started to shout on me and said why u come in the bank again and again when the cheque will come from mumbai we will issue u not in ur name in ur firms name, i once again asked her to tell me why not in my name she put the phone down, i called on that no. again and again she never responded after half n hour i called from a different no. and asked her to talk with ur sales manager she transferred the call to mr nitin i requested him also but of no use .
                                  i m very much surprised that when to make customer they were very formal now paying back the installment cheatly taken from my a/c they are harrising me.why? if i would i been default ur cheque u would have charged on me why u shouldnt? pl reply

                                  I bought HDFC credit card on 2005 and purchased only 5000 from that card... from that day to till i am paying only interest and not getting any card settlement.. If i have raised for settlement... they told you have to pay this much that muct which is double the amount of card value...

                                  so please guys dont want to get HDFC credit cards.. they do not reply us reply ... now, i am struggluing with that person very much .. so my kind advice is not taking HDFC credit cards...

                                  Home Loan — Irresponsible sms

                                  This is related to unnecessary sms for a loan unavailed by me.Every month i got sms from icici hfc saying that my emi for the loan a/c no.LBSAL[protected] is Rs.9071/= and to be paid on or before 9-th everymonth.Nothing wrong in getting a wrong number for sms but the stories is related to irresponsiveness of your staff and your agencies to make correction whenever it is reported.
                                  I am in Namakkal, a place in Tamilnadu.I am Sokkalingam and my mobile no:[protected].I have not availed any home loan at all but i received sms everymoth as above.When we want reply the sms we get failure report and the sms number is also not displayed in your sms. So, i contacted your local office at Namakkal to help us to report this to the concerned authority for corrective measures.
                                  They give us numbers as 2441610 and 4018151 and also told me that this is in Salem.I contacted this number and they told me that this is cv section and they said they don't know houseloan section number. Again i contacted the Namakkal branch for any other number and they responded with number [protected] belonged to one Mr. Nallathambi, an agent of icici home loan. When i contacted and narrated my story, he simply not only refused to give us any contact number but advised us to go in person to Salem, a place 50km away from Namakkal to get cleared of my problems. This is a kind of apperciation for offering to help the icici bank for correcting their mistake and to avoid my headache. I wondered how these staffs will deliver in the longrun and carry your product forward. My problem is this: i don't know how to reach your staff to avoid sms to me.Atleast you take necessary action to stop giving simillar sms to any body and to me also.
                                  I, have applied PL of amount INR 1lac on[protected]. At the time application, the bank executive informed me that the discounted rate of interest will be 14.75% for REAL (a Reliance Group Company). On[protected], I received the message towards the approval of loan. Until now the amount is not credited to my account. In spite of several follow ups, they informed that the loan is approved @ 17% and they have sent for the approval for 14.75%.

                                  I am unable to understand that why it has been sent for approval again when earlier committed for 14.75%? And if 14.75% was not acceptable to BANK, then why it was committed by a responsible executive.

                                  Please arrange to resolve this issue at earliest so that the purpose of loan could be fulfilled or else it will be of no use and at the end I may decline for the loan once I could manage the fund from somewhere else.

IN AUGUST 2007 THEY INCREASED THE RATE TO 12% AND EMI TO 47026/-. IN JULY 2008 THEY HAVE INCREASED THE RATE TO 13% AND EMI TO 52000. IN TWO YEARS THEY HAVE INCREASED THE EMI BY RS.13000/. NOW CENT. BANK IS HDFC BANK. NOW A DAYS OTHER BANKS ARE DECREASING THE RATE OF INTEREST BUT HOW YOU THAT MEANS HDFC BANK IS INCREASING THE RATE? Now i request u to please try and understand my problem regarding my waiver for the bounce charges ie.rs.450/- which she said will be charged to my a/c.i[censored] see my past record for the past 1 year it's been always clean and will be so always. i request u to consider the trouble i had to go through, that i had to go home from my work place, get the money and get it deposited. if i had to have the money on me i would have surely got it deposited it earlier. i have 2 a/c's of hdfc and a gold credit card of hdfc and my payment record has always been on time.

Now the bank has put up an observation that there is no boundary wall of plot so we can not approve your loan, but plot no. 550B is clearly shown on sector 4A plan and engineer of HUDA has issued possession of plot No. 550B. Moreover there is no boundary wall of other plots of HUDA in Dharuhera. So kindly guide me how can i get loan for this, because HUDA has given me a date of registery up to 16 Jun 09. Kindly help me.                                   HDFC Bank — Irresponsible and lack of information

                                  I have submitted a form for Third part transfer in Nizamabad branch on 6th of Oct-2010.I was said that it will get activated in 7 working days. When i cheked on 13 th it was still inactive and when i called customer care they lodged a complaint and said that i will receive a call from the bank in 1 day. I never received a call. I have spend more than 100 rupees by calling to HDFC customer care but no use. No one could able tell the status instead they disconnect the call telling they are transferring to concern department. They even gave me a contact number saying that i call to that number and escalate further but such number does not exist.

                                  I even went to the Nizamabad branch and the manager over there is irresponsible... he says that they do not know the status and they are not ready to react.

                                  I suggest not to go for HDFC instead go to rural banks they will perform better than HDFC.

                                  It does not deserve the caption "Leading bank in India".

                                  . my name is suheel and i am using my brother sameer ali khan's idea number [protected] i made 5 rupees recharge on 10th oct 2011 which provides 75mb of data to browse... on The same day i made another recharge of rupees 55 as the service requires 5rupees of minimum balance to browse....
                                  i browsed for about 10 minutes thats it within which it is highly imossible to browse 75 mb of data simply the service deduted my 47.60 rupees when i asked about the deduction they are refusing to explain about it and showing their negligence in solving my problem......
                                  i request you to take action against that company and provide me the justice

                                  Worst service by HDFC. I applied home loan and they asked me 5-6 cheques for security. I given those and these people didnt check my payments on my loan account. They simply trying to withdraw the money using cheques. as aresult, about 2.5K levied on my account as cheque return charges.
                                  I got reply from customer service : "why did you pay your EMIs online?. have you requested not to use the cheques given".

                                  How stupid is this? They may say "dont use ATMs . come and stand inqueues to collest your money. its your fault... "

                                  myself Ajay Sehgal had taken a personal loan from your bank in 2007(centurion bank of punjab) loan amt.450000/- approx. loan a/c.no. LOMP[protected]. after paying five instalment i had a big loss and i was not in a position to pay the rest instalment so your banker suggest me that it is better for me to go for a settelment. the banker demanded 200000/- as a final settelment amt. but after a long argument it was fixed at 175000/-.that amt. was paid on 26th of march 2008 to mr. naresh sharma (bank executive) with reciept no. 1984217. at that time your banker assured me that your cheques along with your settelment letter would be deliver within 3 months at your postal adderess, but it didn't happened. but i was very sure about my payment. after 3 years 9 month later i had summoned by the ohnrable court for a loan repayment. kindly tell me what is the issue. i want to share my current status that i am working in a transport company based in south and earning very limited salary in which i have to feed my 5 members family. so pls.send me my cheques along with settelment letter and close my loan a/c. my ph. no. is [protected]
                                  I had applied for a Car Loan in HDFC Bank. The representative contacted me and as I was a corporate Customer i was assured a Car Loan at the rate 11.75%. Then after the Representative informed me that i have to take either Insurance from HDFC Bank or my loan would not be sanctioned. When i said that i would not take the Insurance then he said that it is because that he has to sell Insurance Policies and that is the reason he said so. After purchasing the car the interest shown was 13%. Before that he took a second time the cheques for the loan informing of some discrepancy and with an increased amount. When contacted that my loan has been reimbursed at 13.5% he informed that it is because I did not avail the Insurance and that is the reason for a increased interest rate. Also when I went to collect my Registration Certificate from my Dealer he informed that a pending amount of 2300 rupees has to be adjusted as the same had come less from the Bank.

                                  HARASSMENT BY HDFC BANK CREDIT CARD DIVISION FOR THEIR OWN FAULT : Ref. cr. card no. [protected]
                                  With reference to my letters dated 20/09/2009 & earlier letters I hereby submit that HDFC bank did not presented my cheque no.35239 (drawn on Axis Bank Ltd.) for Rs.33481/- issued against my credit card statement dated 07/03/2009. But this cheque was not presented by bank till due date. After enquiry from customer care & on their advise I deposited cash of Rs. 33481/- in HDFC bank in lieu of cheque not presented by bank. But surprisingly the presented the above cheque on 21/08/2009 i.e. after five month when nothing was due against my credit card (NIL).Luckily At that time I was not having sufficient balance in my a/c and cheque was retd. unpaid. HDFC bank than debited different types charges for their own fault, as when nothing is due against my cr. card the why they are presenting an old cheque which they are not supposed to present in any case. After my no. of representations they have reversed some of the charges only. Although I stopped using this cr. card after making some extra payment against the actual due amount. I was asked to make full & final payment of Rs.1200/- by HDFC executive Ms. Harlin on 29/11/2010 which was more than the actul amount spent by me by credit card, even than for peace of mind I opted to pay Rs. 1200/-. But even than I am being continuously harassed by HDFC Bank credit card division recovery cell. I most humbly request you to please cancel the fake demand & oblige.

                                    I was credit card holder of HDFC Bank . My Credit card A/c No is [protected].I was settled my account on 12.11.2006 at ahmedabad,gujarat and paid by installment as mentioned in settlement letter on 13.11.2006,14.12.2006,11.01.2007.

                                    After Eleven months of payment still I haven't receive N.O.C(No due Certificate).

                                    With reference to my credit card application No. [protected]S1 and my further letter dated 22.12.2007 and my telephonic talk with customer care executive today, it is very painful to state that your bank has not cared to process the application though the verification formalities were already been completed on 22nd dec 2007. In this juncture, please note that if you want to process the application on merits, please expdite and do it immediately, or else please inform the same to my E-mail I.d., to enable me to drop the proposal as other Banks are interested in my proposal to render their service within a few hours only.
                                    I haven't recieved ny monthly statement yet.
                                    This is in regard to my payment whic i ve done for the month june on 30/06/08.I paid Rs.4000 towards my credit card number [protected] through a indian overseas bank cheque number 216633.but it was not reflected in the current month bill.Also there is discrepancy in the bill too.                                     I would like to regreat that I am a customer of this bank branch santoshpur kolkata-700075 pincode.
                                    Some sornaly dey from head office phoned me that a atm debit card is pending to my wife purobi pathak(may be titenium).I asked her is it a debit card/credit card she told me that it is debit card and if i dont get it I am not entitled to draw money from my existing atm card.
                                    This card is necessaty for drawing money from my account. she send me a person to my residence and that person forced me to signed the paper without verification.I called some of my friends and when threatened that person i come to know it is a credit card which i am not interested because I have already a card with my wife purobipathak.
                                    My question to hdfc management is that the position of the bank to offer credit card.
                                    Why are you recruting such brainless person in a important section.
                                    My another grivence to the branch that I have FD a very good amount in that branch.Accidentally I asked a person regarding the current interest rate and asked him what is the procedure to go to the current position.After a few days went to admit hospital for a operation.When the operation was going on my wife receive a call from the agent and that person wanted an appointment to discuss the matter with my family members. My wife told him that she is not in a mood to discuss the matter as a serious operation is going on.That agent contineously phoned her for an appointment for the day long as she switched off her phone. Afetr that we panicked that HDFC bank has no more money in there hand so they are trying to get money even a person is in operation table.I am an Architect and having very good social statious.All my friends are having account in hdfc bank and panicked to withdrawal/close there acount.
                                    Please look after these matter to protect us at least when a customer is in operation table.

                                    Hi, This is Chandra. Regarding my Credit Card payment I am using it for more than 2 yrs. For past 3 months I was unable to pay the amount properly since I was in roaming profile through out India beacuse of my job. And for the month of April I was unable to pay at the due date and I got ac all from HDFC executive tat he come to collect the amout directly.But I asked him to come the next day since I was in critical situation.Without knowing these problems I got a call from HDFC number [protected], [protected] who behaved so illerately and used harsh words and threatened that my name will be in defaulters list!!!Is this the way a bank executive behaves to a 2 yrs card holder and who has savings account at HDFC?? Jus want to take severe action against tis concerned person

                                      This is the reply of the letter which i received from HDFC Bank Credit Card for enlisting my name in defaulters list and given below is the reasons for delay and the difficulties faced by me, please advice

                                      Dear Sir

                                      I’m in receipt of your letter mentioning to impose my name in the list of defaulter according to the Credit Information Company (Regulation) Act, 2005.

                                      In this regard, I would like to once again bring to your notice that the so mentioned default, which you have embedded on my name, is actually due to lack of response from your end and further harassment which you give to the customers is surprising.

                                      As you have mentioned that my last payment received by you was on[protected]which was not the full payment of my dues), can you please provide me with an answer as to when did you further called me up for the payment and also to look for the details that after my payments how many times did I made a call to your Collection Department seeking corrections in my account.

                                      I would like to throw light of facts on the happening which took place prior to my last payments once more (as I have repeated these over the telecom with your representative a number of times).

                                      I received a call from one of your representative named Shalini prior to[protected] for the payment of my dues, on that occasion I did mention to her that prior to this period in which the bank had levied interests & other charges on my account, I did of my own called up the collection department and asked them to collect the complete payment so that there are no dues in my account but there was no response from your end, at that time I also explained them that I have got my Office as well as my studies so it is not possible for me to go to any ATM centers or any collection centers of your bank to make the payment of my dues, but at that moment no one from your bank turned up leading to delay in payment due to which the said charges were levied in my account. Now can you please help me out and explain, is this the Customer Service which you excel in? (as when I applied to your Credit Card I did brief out that it is not possible for me to visit your Collection Centers to make the payment and it was promised to me that your bank will send the representative for Collection of my dues and this service will bear no charges) and is this the way that your customer has to bear with the charges being levied on his account.

                                      I did brief out this to Shalini and she said me that, “Sir, please make some payment so that the same could hit to your account and then we can request our division to waive off the charges being levied on your account”. A guy named Gopi came to collect the payment of Rs. 7000/- and at that time also I asked Shalini that I can make the complete payment and then you waive off the charges from my account but she adviced that “Sir, please make a part payment and after that I will request our division to waive the charges and once it is done, you make the remaining payment in a couple of days time”. I made the payment of Rs. 7000/- that time and waited for Shalini’s call as she promised me to give the updated regarding the corrections in my account.

                                      I waited for her call for a couple of days but she didn’t turn up. After that, I made a call to her from my end to take the update but that time she said me that, “Sir since this is the month end period so we are busy in following up for the payment, please give us some time and once this pressure is over I will definitely get back to you”.

                                      And after all this happenings I didn’t receive any calls from Shalini and not even from any of your representative either for the updates or for the collection of my dues.

                                      In such a situation can you please brief me out as to why I didn’t receive any calls from your end for my dues for a span of 2 months?

                                      Consequently, I received all your statements, mails & phone calls regarding the payment of my dues and I did explain all this over the telephone but didn’t have any positive response from your end. Sir, I hope you understand how difficult it is to receive the personal phone calls when you are at your place of work but even then also I had repeatedly briefed these happenings to the representatives who called me up. Many times I had faced insulting words from your representative and I was urged to reply in the tone they deserved, leading to an overall mess and mental trauma.

                                      Let me also bring one more thing to your notice that, if you go through my account history you will notice that I had once made the payments for Interest & other charges as it was a delay from my end for which I’m liable to bear the charges, but this time I’m sorry for the happenings because this issue have mounted up due to lack of response from your end.

                                      Sir, one more thing, today morning i.e.,[protected], I called up the HDFC Bank Cards Division phone number[protected] for Kolkata printed in your aforesaid letter, to know the email address at which I can mail this letter but the phone was busy attending another call, I then reached the voicemail box of the number and dropped the message giving details of my card and my name and requesting for a call back tagging it to be URGENT, but for more than an hour I didn’t receive any feedback, I again tried to call up the same number but this time no one was picking the phone and unfortunately on my part the voice mail box was also full. Sir, please try to understand how this lack of communication creates the bridges where these discrepancies crepes out leading to a hurdles in smooth function of a relationship.

                                      I urge you to kindly waive off the charges & interest which are debited to my account and send me a fresh statement reflecting my real dues (the principal amount) and I promise to make the payment in a week’s time from the receipt of your statement. I hope that you would definitely take corrective measures and actions to uphold the name of your Bank and advice me for actions from my end.

                                      I have immediately entered complaint in Central Bank India Complaint Register and inform their Manager.

                                      With reference to your letter dt.05/06/08, I would like to inform you above the horrendous experience with HDFC.

                                      During the month of August ’07 had requested HDFC to waive off the finance charges of Rs.1705 debited to my statement dt.14/08/07.

                                      In this connection, your representative Sree spoke to me and requested me to pay an amount of Rs.3000/- as an advance to settle the entire outstanding, which will enable him to get the approval from Mumbai for waiver as well settlement letter. Subsequently, I made the payment by way of cash on 13/11/07, after which she asked me to call the next day . When I called her she informed that the concerned Manager was not in station and requested me to call after 15 days. When I called HDFC Bank after 15 days, there was no proper response and all that I had to hear was that Sree was not available and no one from Customer Care was forthcoming to take an initiative to atleast know the reason for so many calls to the Bank. When there was no response from HDFC on the calls made for more than a month, I visited the Bank and when enquired for Sree, I was informed that she was from the collection center and not from the Bank. The next day I received a call from Karthik demanding the entire outstanding payment, for which I had to explain the previous communication with Sree. He said that he will check with his Manager and also informed that such approvals will not be given, after which there were no calls from him.

                                      During the month of February '08, I received calls on a daily basis from Sunitha demanding the payment and she was literally abusive. She did not stop with just calling me but, continued to make calls to my parents also mentally harassing them. There were occasions when she had sent 4-5 people to my home when my mother was alone and threatened her as well as used abusive language. I had categorically informed her that I will make the payment only for the amount that I had swiped but, she was not prepared to take the payment from me but, insisted on taking the full payment. She also went to the extent of threatening my parents on account of the non-payment.

                                      On 3rd March '08, I received a call from Ganesh ([protected]), who called himself as HDFC Agent, informed me that he was responsible for collecting the dues from me. I had to explain the whole story once again and assured him that I was ready to pay the amount and had no intentions of defaulting the same. He handed over a duplicate statement along with an excel sheet with all workings. The report has details of total amount spent and the amount paid ie.,

                                      I insisted that I will only pay Rs.29427, for which he informed me that he has very good rapport with his superior and that he can get the waiver. To obtain the waiver from his superior, he wanted me to make a payment of Rs.5000/- initially and thereafter to make the payment in 2 installments of Rs.12213.5 dated 15.04.08 &15.05.08.He assured that he was the final person to handle this case and requested me make the payment of Rs.5000/-, 2 days after which I would get the letter for settlement. Based on his assurances, I made the payment of Rs.5000/- vide cheque no.401795 dt. 17.03.08 had drawn on IDBI Bank to his agent Vignesh ([protected]) and the receipt no. For the same is 5724207 dt.17.03.08. I made continuous calls to Ganesh for the settlement letter but, there was no response at all from his end. Subsequently, he stopped taking my calls. When I called Vignesh to find out the status of the letter, he brought his Manager from HDFC to my office. I did not meet him as I was totally fed up with all the follow-up calls made for the past 8 months.

                                      I would like to re-iterate once again that I am willing to make the payment of Rs.24427/- i.e., Rs.29427/- less Rs.5000/-(above payment made). As a result of all the mental torture that I have undergone on account of the above. I had to incur substantial amount on medical expenses.

                                      Due to the above reasons, I am not able to concentrate on my work as well as my day-to-day activities. I hold a responsible position in my organization and such third rated treatment is not at all acceptable and I have every right to take this up with the Consumer Court, which I am not willing to do.

Then i immdiate inform to HDFC CREDIC CARD CALL CENTRE and hold the card services. Immdiate inform to your CHENNAI OFFICE AND SENDED THE SIGNATURE LETTER BY FAX AND SAME WAS DROPED IN BOX. BUT TILL THERE IS NO RESPONCE FROM YOUR END. PLEASE IMMDIATE REPLY AND TAKE NECESSARY ACTION AGAINST THE ROYAL SUNDARAM ALLIENC COMPANY.
