On 29th June 2020, my Activa 125 cc stroked an unfortunate fate at the hands of City Honda service center Kalyan Nagar Bangalore

Fundamentally, I have been a great fan of Honda products all my life. However, the poor experience that I had on 29th June has changed my perspective about Honda service center completely. I regret to say, but am no longer a follower of the Honda brand, and given a chance, I would like to spread a word of mouth on the same.

To start with, my vehicle has not been serviced at any of the Honda service centers for the last two years. However, I have been getting a timely service at a local service center right next to my house and had no complaints so far. Lately, I have been experiencing wobbling of the front Tyre and I presumed getting this issue fixed directly with the company service center would work best for the bike.

Now this was the despairing time, when my decision to show up to the Honda service center happened, so the most proficient technicians at the branch could fix the issue
Given the bike for service, speaking of the wobbling issues, an estimated bill of Rs 2400 was scribbled into my hands. On reaching home, by the mid of noon. I receive a call, where the bike in-charge blows me with a list of things to be replaced, failing which the vehicle is not going to run smooth. I agree, the vehicle was not serviced for two years with any authorized Honda service center, now that does not license anybody to charge me with another RS 3500 as parts replacement cost. Listening to all that the technician had to pitch, I politely denied, requesting not to replace any parts and let be, now by evening on the same day, reached the center to pick my vehicle and as promised I ended up paying around Rs 2400 and got my delivery.
Here is the first scam, even before I could get my bike delivered, the security guy carrying a gate pass asked me to sign a few papers which also included a feedback form, suppose I would only sign, while the center would fill the form to their will and satisfaction.

On test drive, I did not find any issues but while nearing home, I could hear heavy rattling sound and noise like something was unfixed and undone inside the vehicle and an uproar by the rear Tyre. I immediately take it back to the service center, hard luck, the center was closed, the very next day, I take the bike to address the issue, the executive in charge takes a test drive and pretends like everything is fine, Until I open the dicky to show him that the screws were left loose, soon he takes the vehicle inside and brings it back saying everything is fixed and should not have any more issues, trusted him, and on crossing a few kms, I experience the issue again.

This time, I raised a complaint online, and here comes the customer relationship manager who tries to convince me saying, my bike was not serviced for 2years at any centre. And since I asked them not to replace any of the parts, and as the parts were cleaned and fixed back, the sound would occur and the noise is common, as I did not want to argue as the solution he gave me to fix the issue was to change the parts. I decide to ignore the complaint and take to the local mechanic and get it fixed.

But plight not over yet, the third day, my wife takes the bike to the shopping mall, and with our house key and her wallet and everything kept inside the dicky, the key fails to open the storage space in the bike at the shopping mall, and she had to stand there helpless, waiting until I come. I quickly take it to the local mechanic and he inspecting the vehicle, agrees that the service was terribly done and the consequence of the service lead to all the issues that never occurred in the past, without waiting any further, I call the Activa service center to come down and help with the lock issue.

There was a mechanic sent who promptly unlocked the dicky and claimed the cable was broken and needed replacement. I got back my bike today, where again a few feedback forms were signed blindly and bill receipt stuck to my hands. I don’t know if the issue is fixed, as they say experience is a tough master, I learnt my lessons the hard way. Hereafter, I will not go to any Honda service centre nor believe Honda for a brand.

Despite the lockdown and economic situation, I wanted the bike serviced at authorised service centre, hoping they would maintain their standards and do justice. But, unfortunately, I became their scapegoat for them to redeem their losses for the period of lock-down at the cost of damaging my bike forever.

And yes, a feedback i would like to personally address to the management team in particular, please see if the name HONDA SERVICE CENTER can be replaced to SPARE PARTS REPLACEMENT CENTER.

I know my Activa is not going to be the same, with the pathetic customer service I know nothing is going to change, but I had to pen down my frustration for me to be at peace.

    My honda activa was having a problem of self start from day one (06 — 03 — 2020). I assumed that it will be fine in few days, since it was a brand new vehicle. But the problem persisted for four months. Even after mentioning this issue during first service and specially visiting the service centre again to resolve this issue, nobody informed me that there is a problem in the battery.
    Now, after visiting the service centre again for this problem, i am told that the battery needs to be replaced, since it is not functioning, it will take minimum 3-4 days time.
    This means that the vehicle was not checked properly before it was sold, it was neither checked during first service. I had to come back to the service centre fourth time in 4 months, to get this issue resolved. This also means the battery was not functioning properly from day one.
    This is a case of not only neglect and carelessness at sales and services end, but harassment of the customer. Please take necessary action.

      Dear sir,

      I booked a bike sp 125 gray colour at shyam honda kolkata west bengal pin 743127, on 24/06/2020. Its already 20 days but they are not given us any importance and saying it will take more 20 days to get bike.

      They are manipulating with bike and giving to
      Person who are paying them higher price.. Please see to this as till date they are not giving us any information about the exact date of availability.

        Sir. We are purchasing activa 5g honda two wheeler motor bike at sridevi honda showroom at kakinada in the month of january. Actually iam working as govt employee. The main problem is starting trouble. Already 2fre services completed & and taking observation for one half day. But problem isn't cleared. My vehicle no ap39l6840. My cell no is [protected]..           In bobbili handa showroom.. There is no customer receiving.. And there is no first come firs serve... Staff were talk to people without manners.. Some servicing boys are make fear to customers as they re covid-19 infectious.

                I give my scooty for paid service. But i dont know how they servicing. I think they service any this kind of vehicle with trainee. There was no improvement after servicing. But the vibration & noice is more than previous. The smoothness & pick up is not up to the mark. My experience is very bad about honda paid service. Dealer is s. P honda. Purulia. 723101. My vehicle is honda activa 5g. Reg no - wb82c3374.

                    Dear sir i buy a honda dio from a muthoot honda dealer in mundakayam. I buy vehicle 2018 october after 2 days the petrol completely overflown and the carborator of vehicle is changed. After that a sound from the silencer starts and the dealer says that it's normal sound. After that the a sound from engine and they said that the clutch belt needs to changed after that we changed that. We have done all the services as the company said and change oil at regular intervals now last day i give the vehicle in the showroom to change clutch belt and again sound is there from silencer they check all and says no problem two three times i visit showroom with similar complaint and they said no problem when i was travelling with that the engine suddenly stopped with a sound and visit nearest showroom they said there is no oil in the vehicle and piston blocked. The showroom which we buy the vehicle said bring it to there showroom and they will check and we bring it from there and 1500 fare for bringing that and they check and said timing belt has broken. Pls remind that the vehicle is now only at 9000 km. How this timing belt has broken. When i take the vehicle from that time there is full of complaints so you have to take any decisions now the engine has damaged and needs to repair they said 10000 rupees needed. We can't spend that much for a new vehicle so you have to take action on this and solve this problem

                      Mai mr ramjappo paswan mere gaon ke near ardhya honda agency's se new honda bike liya tha cb 125 jiska battery kuch hi dino baad kharab ho gya tha fir agency's par jake ke return ke liye jama kar diya tha 1din ya 2 karte karte 2 mahine se upar ho gya hai abhi battery return nahi diya hai or bolne par time badhate jata haiisi ke subject me complaint kar raha hu aage karwaye aap karein

                        I booked a motorcycle - sp125 (Gray) ref booking no: 2295 on 24.06.2020, in m/s. Shyam honda - 743127. Advance of rs. 500/- (Rupees five hundred only) paid with receipt no. 2295, dated 24.06.20 as a confirmation of booking of motorcycle.

                        When i booked the vehicle, sales officer in m/s. Shyam honda told me that vehicle will deliver within 10 days from the date of booking. Whenever if i called your sales office to know the status of booking. They said awaiting for the supply of orders from honda factory. If they got the confirmation of order of supply from honda motors will inform me of delivering the motorcycle.

                        I booked the vehicle, because the sales office belongs to honda. I'm having a doubt whether my booking was processed or not. Kindly confirm my order and delivery of motorcycle asap.

                          I have got done the paid service my scooty aviator model 2018 from m/s bhalai motors dhangu raod pathankot on 22/06/20. There was issue of starting trouble i have cleard the matter to service boy but day after i am facing the same problem ater service done with satisfactory note. Yes ter day i have got the problem same again in mid way pathankot to nurpur and the same problem arises. While showing to some mecahanic he has reported that carburator was not claened properly during service. The same has beeen cleaned there and am able to proceed further.
                          Please let me know what is fun of doing service at authorised centre. I used got service at r. K honda jassur regularly and i have not gort any problem earlier. Due to corona my daughterhas to visit daily to office at pathankot and service has got done at pathankot. This is really rediculus. Why not the matter is being taken to consumer cell.

                              Hi all,
                              I have purchased unicorn 150 6months back in orange honda (Moinabad, ranga reddy, telengana) now my bike battery is not working i have given complaint at show room. They said to recharge your battery and check once i have done but it's not working again went to the show they staff taken my battery and said they will replace it in a week then i said okay and given battery for replace after one week i went to the show room to take my battery back again they said battery not replaced you need wait another week again after week same thing they are saying finally after one month they suggested me to buy new battery replacement will take 3-4months they said very worst service.

                                The honda activa bs6 scooty heated after using 30 minute and they give low average, low fuel efficiency, sometimes hang digital meter, heated activa disc and boot space bettery

                                    Kindly look at see this following trail mail and kindly resolve my problem,

                                    It's urgent... I bought honda activa 6g on[protected] at venus honda showroom velagoundampatty, tamilnadu state, but almost completed 45 days over but i am not yet received rc insurance invoice warranty book anything, if i am asking regarding that queries to concern showroom their are not respond properly.. Kindly resolve my issue.. I raised complaint 3 time but my issue not yet resolved

                                    Note:
                                    Yesterday is my free service date, i submitted to showroom for services, but their not did proper water service and oil changes, their not changed oil but their asking to oil changes charge 500/-, same timing service incharge person mohan and relationship manager said very rude and harrasment words like (If i am not paid 500/- won't release vehicle go to outside)

                                    I am really depression in that services, still i am not getting any rc, my insurance, and warranty card anything, they are not provided, kindly resolve my problem,
                                    If you are not resolved my problem then otherwise i will got to legel court and file case on honda company,
