[Resolved] ICICI Bank — Wrong cheque honored with mismatched signatures by icici bank | |||
Hello Team ICICI Bank, After my repeated emails and follow ups and reminders, i couldn't able to get the justified reply from your team, As this is a complete fraudulent case from the bank side, below are the email conversation with the ICICI BANK, i have received only email reply from the bank which can also be seen below.. From me: mail 1. Date: 08.06.2014 Hello Team ICICI Bank, Bank have honored cheques for the below account number dated 07.06.2014 Name of the account holder: Layeeq Ur Rahman Account Number:[protected] Transaction Date: 07.06.2014 Amount debited by cheques: 7857/- INR and 5500/- Debited to: Bajaj Auto As there is a dispute between BAJAJ AUTO and me and bajaj auto has been claimed that the signatures on the cheques has been mismatched completely due to some service issues the dispute raised, Now How comes the bank honored the cheque with mismatching signature without even calling or emailing me, I kindly request to hold the above amount and Credit it back to my account ASAP, as i will be travelling on a international business trip i will not be not available on my listed mobile number [protected], you can reach me through email ID: [protected]@gmail.com. Kindly revert me back on this issue, how can the bank honor the cheque with fully mismatching signatures or please provide me the copy of cheques to justify the transactions. On the basis of Service Reference Number SR[protected]. We will update the status by June 21, 2014. Amount of Rs 7, 857.00 and 5, 500.00 on June 07, 2014 was debited towards the LAN#4000CD00511971 and LAN#4000CD00521254. We have enclosed the scan image of the mandate, on the basis LAN has been activated. The said LAN is registered under Auto-debit mandate. As per the process, the mandate is first registered and then confirmed to BAJAJ Finance Ltd. The debit transaction is executed by BAJAJ Finance Ltd on registration confirmation received from ICICI Bank. Hence, in this case, the execution of debit transactions was done by BAJAJ Finance Ltd. For any further reversals or clarifications, we would request you to get in touch with BAJAJ Finance Ltd. Mail revert from me: Dated 18.06.2014 Greetings, Hello Ms. Deepa, I thank you for the revert, I accept that the said cheque belongs to my account, but this cheque is very old, as it is not CTS-2010( Cheque truncation system ) and i kindly request you to cross check my signature with the bank records, the signature which has been provided by BAJAJ AUTO is completely different, even in the cheque enclosed and the auto-debit form, So i want to ask how the bank has been taken the request by BAJAJ AUTO and with this mismatching signature records why the bank has been honored the cheque's without even confirming me. I have taken the dispute with BAJAJ Auto also, for this and they also accepted and agreed that there is a signature mismatch and my identity has been misused by someone else, but this is secondary... How the bank honored the old cheque without CTS-2010 Standard and with mismatched signature. and for bank mistake or wrong honored why should i followup BAJAJ AUTO for this as you can see the old cheque already with wrong signature on both auto debit form and cheque. As i am still on a international business trip, i kindly request you to provide me the justified answer and also the further escalation metrics for this issue. Even though after this i have made several reminders but all in vain. i kindly request the concern team to revert me back for which i will be obliged. Was this information helpful? | |||

I am still waiting for your official to get in touch with me, I have not received any email till now, Bank like ICICI is this careless in resolving so sensitive complaints related with wrong transaction which have to be priority by the bank, I never expected this. Even though after my several email attempts and after writing my complaint here no bank official has shown up to resolve my issue...I kindly request the concern official to look in to my complaint which has been submitted almost 25 days back. Thank You..
