    Paid idea bill on 4th May 2015. Transaction is successful on icici bank side. But payment updation issue is from IDEA portal and they are not accepting or chceking the issue in IDEA portal. I have called customer care multiple times but IDEA customer care employees are not giving proper answers even they don't bothered about customer issues and even they are very rude in talking. If idea is providing this kind of service and then there is no point of continue with IDEA provider.

      Yesterday 05/May/2015 evening I received a message from IZ-IDEA saying, your request for promo offer activation for Mob. no.[protected] has been successfully processed through Communication Id C1-[protected]; I had not authorized such a service activation. Kindly register my complain and stop this service and do’t deducted any charges

          Hi. . This is butta, [protected] Today morning i recived new massage from idea Care that " now recharge with 13 get 65 Mb data and 3 day Validity". Then I recharged with 13 get only 30Mb. I Called to idea care [protected], they are no helping And hold my Call upto 10 min .This is rePeated three times on 5/5/2015. I Request pls Dont repeat and dont mislead.

            I have recently taken a new postpaid connection "Easy Share 2.0" with 5 additional numbers on it (total 6 numbers), from the Idea executives at Pavan Communications, Shaikpet. Since the free minutes, sms and data is shared between all the 6 numbers on my connection, I had a concern about this before I went with this plan. In case if we go over the free 1000 minutes, I wanted to be able to reduce the number of calls me make from these 6 numbers. For this, I asked the Idea Executives at Pavan Communications the following questions: - Can I see current usage details of minutes, sms and data (used, remaining, billed) any time I wanted to? - Can I see all the numbers on my connection at once place, and their respective usage? The Idea executives confirmed me that I "can see all that information on the portal anytime". With the main concerns addressed, I went with the connection. After my connection is activated, I have signed up with Idea Web Portal and checked to my surprise that I cannot to both the things I asked, and the Idea Executives confirmed about. Now, either they did not have the correct information and misguided me to sign up for a connection that I had concerns for. Or they knew it, but gave me false information willfully to fraud me into signing up for a connection. Either way, I have been given false information about my concerns, in a way to misguide me and subscribe to services from Idea that I was concerned to subscribe for. I have called the customer care (on 29th April, 2015) and even they seem to be misinformed about that is possible and what is not. Refer to my recorded calls if needed. I would like to find out what are my next steps. I definitely would not like to continue with such company where their agents say anything to get new connections, and customer care agents are fully not informed. Please refund the conenctions activation money you have charged (300 x 6 = 1800) and terminate my subscription. Also, move the 2 numbers back to Prepaid that were converted to postpaid to be part of this plan. Let me know what are my next steps.

            The concerned team followed up and tried checking the issue. But was not able to fully resolve it. So, eventually switched providers and I am at peace now.

                Hi, we have paid INR 470 for the Idea number [protected] and [protected] (altogether) on 25.4.15. But, still Idea has stopped our outgoing service. We have called local Idea service provide. He is also not taking any step. We have sent mail to Idea customer service and their representative. But, even then the problem is not yet solved. Kindly help us to solve the issue as early as possible.

                  They have deducted 173 from my phone and i have 0 balance and they are giving the reason of Internet surfing however its not even possible because my data connection was off for the entire day i had used it for 1 minute but after a minute i immediately switched off the data connection and these idea persons are not even talking properly on phone nor giving the valid reason for this deduction, i have checked all my VAS service, call and sms deduction for the past 4 days and nothing about this hefty amount is showing in the message. my number is [protected] and i have ported from vodafone but now i am regretting my decision.

                    Hi, I am Ronak from Jaipur ( Rajasthan ). This is in reference to the above subject of excess post paid bill charge on my mob. no. [protected].Please consider it as a high priority if you value your customers. I had to write this mail out of my busy schedule because i am unable to get any satisfactory comeback from your customer care team. I usually gets my bills around 600 - 700 on a monthly basis. I hardly use Data services and is on WIFI for most of the time in a day.I am amazed to see the bill of Rs 3198, which doesn't make sense to me. I constantly keep checking my usage but this huge bill in the end was a complete shock. Well, Miracles do happen. I advice you to re-examine your system software as they are doing flaws in bill generations. Being a customer, i am not suppose to pay for something i haven't used. Kindly rectify my issue else i would have to take escalate it to a higher level. And if nothing is possible from your end as a part of customer retention policy (which is great in AIRTEL & Vodafone ), then kindly terminate my connection and i shall ask my friends and family members to do the same if they are using Idea.                         Hi, I'm a customer of idea and my number is [protected]. I have applied for porting to TATA DOCOMO on 15th April and submitted all necessary documents but my porting out request has been rejected by my present network operator i.e, idea without any acceptable reason for rejection when I contacted the customer care they said porting has been rejected, reason they mention is ridiculous they say in the system its set as "User Cancellation" . Why would I opt for portability and then cancel myself don't I have any better work. I ahve also dropped an email to the customer care also the Email reference id is E1-[protected] So I am requesting you to solve this problem of porting. Hope i will get positive response from you.                           What is Data Pack ProRation charges?? I have been charged 290 Rs for it. My internet pack is always active. My pack was over 2 days before the end date & for using internet after the prescribed limit i have been charged additionally 78 rs. So from where did this Pro ration charge come?? Please check & tailor my bill else i will have to disconnect Idea & port it to some other connection.

                          I dont understand why is this proration done? When my net pack was active, when i paying for the net i am using Why i am I supposed to pay for the data which i have not used. If I have changed the plan from 299 to 399 then charge me extra 100. Why should I pay 290. I am paying for the amount of data i have used. This is worst kind of service I am getting. Please help me clear this matter n waive off this pro ration charges. Or else please let me know the procedure for porting the number.
                          Also not satisfied with the customer helpdesk person. They are not resolving the issue, instead when i said i will discontinue the service, he said ok.
                          Please check the issue at the earliest.

                          I deactivated ADD-ON data pack of 1GB in mid of bill cycle and Idea charged me 507 Prorated Overage Charges.

                          Not sure really this is as per TRAI regulation. If it's as per TRAI regulation then TRAI must have to change this regulation. As we see here many people like us are trapped in this case and on this way operators are earning on unaccepted way.
                          I have the same problem today. I have a plan of Rs. 499 that gives 2.5GB data and these idea guys are so intelligent to keep my credit limit as 599. For the first 3 months, they don't allow changing the credit limit. The total bill goes around Rs. 574 when added the taxes and after few calls and a VAS boom, You outgoing is disabled because you have crossed your credit limit. Where do so intelligent people come from?

                          Any ways that was not the only problem. The major problem is they charge this Pro-ration charges on the money we actually pay. Last month I activated a Rs. 100 pack for 300Mb 3G data as i required it and a Rs. 154 1GB 2G data after that. I was aware of this being added in my bill.

                          But here comes their trap, Idea charged only Rs. 64 for the days I used that Rs.154 2G internet pack from 30th Dec, 2016 to 11th January, 2017 and added the Pro-ration charges of Rs. 751 on the complete data I used making my bill rise to Rs. 1627 with the Tax of Rs. 212.

                          These guys know very well that few customers can do nothing and will have no impact on their business. Rise up folks and let these telecom companies know where they stand without us. Move you and your friends, family and anyone you meet everyday out of idea.

                          This is how Idea greets their customer Happy New Year. Very Well done Aditya for such service. Now I learned an important business lesson. "Pro-ration".

                          I have same problem.I got May month bill dated-23may 4237.90 which is very high called prorated overage charges.
                          Previous my plan is 666cug plan and then next switch to 299plan.Now they are charging for 13days 3235.44.At which cost they are applying?
                          In previous bill also they are applying 75 rs for 18.525mb.

                              I am using [protected].idea deducted 135 rupees. On May 1st evening I had 283 rupees balance and 200MB 3G data balance. Next day morning 148 was my balance. Customer Care guy said its due to internet surfing, I don't know what about my 3G data balance. Thanks Hari [protected]

                              Same thing happened with me today, in fact they have deducted 173 from my phone and i have 0 balance and they are giving the same reason of Internet surfing however its not even possible because my data connection was off for the entire day i had used it for 1 minute but after a minute i immediately switched off the data connection and these idea persons are not even talking properly on phone nor giving the valid reason for this deduction, i have checked all my VAS service, call and sms deduction for the past 4 days and nothing about this hefty amount is showing in the message.

                                Myself Mr. Sandeep Jadhav had taken a Postpaid Internet Plan of 5 GB for Rs. 750/-. But the Plan I had taken considering the Best Net speed which will help in my official duties. But right from activated from 26th March 2015, I am suffering the Speed Problem as well as the Operating Problem. Actually I am using Micromax A120 Mobile with one of the Sim with Airtel and the other in Idea. But the Idea Internet when tried to use, shows only 3 signal bars whereas my airtel shows all the four signal bars with Good Speed. Problem for Idea is that due to only three signal bars, the internet speed is slowly accessed which takes almost 20-30 secs to open the webpage which is making me really disappointed. Secondly when I interchanged my Sims card locations within a mobile, same problem is suffered to me. Also when accesssed after few mins, 3G network converts into 2G network and again the Speed is becoming slow. So no 3G Continuity is seen. Second part, When I had talked to the Customer Executives, Supervisors, & Technical team for the same, NONE OF THE PERSON IS HELPING ME. They take my complaint several times, and said me that your issue will be resolved till 11th April, 23rd April, 29 April & now today again 7th May is given. Why so much times Committments are given but no resolution is done. Another thing is that, they close the Complaint without making me aware at their own. WHY WHY WHY such harassment is done to me. My main planning for taking the Idea Plan is for INTERNET but I am being supported for the same. Kindly do resolve the issue asap. The same is observed whenever I move in Pune at any location. PLZ PLZ PLZ close the matter Quikly and make free from the INTERNET SPEED problem

                                  I made a recharge of Rs 124 for 650 MB 3G data for validity 24 days... And on the same day at night i made a recharge of RS 8 for 25 MB data for one day.. The next day they start charging me for data packs.. I called customer care and enquired. They said the validity of the previous 124 rs pack was cancelled and overwritten by the 8rs pack validity... What kind of rule is this?? They denied me the 650 mb i paid for. I asked them why they havent intimated me about this rule.. They said they have sent me a text of this rule in sms on feb 3rd 2015. Do they expect customers to reading through all the sms they sent me..

                                    I had recently recharged with the internet pack of Rs. 197 on my number [protected]. It was told that the speed after 2 G.B usage would be throttled to 40kbps but I got the speed of 1-2 kbps and when i called customer care then they just took complaint but it was not solved. I lodged 2 complaints but to no avail. I woult like the authorities to take necessary actions against Idea Cellular Service. They are just looting people.

                                      Hi my name is manish valecha. I had ported my number [protected] from airtel to vodafone and than to idea. it was a postpaid connection. Than i converted it to prepaid. I was assured that if i make recharge of rs 102 this number will be stay activated as it is a life time validity recharge. This info was given to me at idea gallary ulhasnagar. I recharged as they said. But even after a month my service was not active. Than afer one month i went to idea gallary they said ur number is deativated. U have to go to airtel. I went to airtel they said idea must release this number first than we can activw it. But employees at idea gallary was not interested to listen my problem. They said we cant do anything as number is not active. Please look it to this matter. I need that number.

                                        I want to file a strong complaint against IDEA Cellular for unnecessarily charging me high amount of bill. My cell number is [protected]. Under the pretext of high internet usage idea has charged me a bill amount of Rs 6168, which i don"t accept. I have hardly any internet usage on the phone, except what'sup and checking my emails, i don"t use any other service or online application. I am using only 2 G internet pack which is unlimited one which is sufficient for me for almost past 10-11 years, but for the last one month your idea company is charging Rs. 6168/ bill towards me. Infact my all previous bills itself shows that the ratio of my bill was Rs. 500 to 700/- and in any time the bill was not over Rs 1000/- as per IDea record. But now the IDEA is cheating on me by showing high internet usage and charging me heavily. What is the proof of such high usage ? Until and unless idea does not give me a sufficient proof by giving me details about which sites i have visited and details about the downloads i have made, i am not going to pay such huge amount. Tomorrow they will charge me Rs 10, 000 and ask me to pay by showing false usage.. how should i trust them. I cannot be forced to pay such huge amounts. Pls i need a detail explanation .
