I have got an idea prepaid number ([protected]) since 2012 and never had any issue with idea services. Few weeks ago my number got deactivated without any consent or notification, so i visited idea store located in noida sector 64.. I told them to reactivate my pre-paid number. They told that i'll get a new sim card and that might be postpaid/prepaid number based on the approval. I told them that i am not interested in a postpaid number and it should be prepaid only as i have been using it as a prepaid number. They then agreed that it'll be a prepaid number and i don't need to worry about it
Inspite of my requests and instructions to them, they booked this number into a postpaid connection and got a blank postpaid sim in their store. Since 8th of april they have been calling me and telling me to collect blank postpaid sim of my number ([protected]). I told them that i never requested for a postpaid number rather requested for prepaid then why it was converted to postpaid#?
Now the thing is, why the number was converted to postpaid without my consent? I never requested for a postpaid number then why did they convert it and harassing me that either to collect it soon or it will be given to somebody else???
This is the first time i faced this kind of issue with idea and that too a harrassment and threatening by customer service... First the number got deactivated without any notification and then it got converted to postpaid without my consent. Is this kind of service they are providing now??
I already contacted their nidia and appellate authority but no proper response from them even.
I want this number to be reactivated and should be a prepaid connection not a postpaid.
