Using idea's 4g data for which i've recharged 1, 700 for a year o[censored]nlimited calls, 100 messages and 1 gb data per day, i've noticed that very often they give at least 110 mb lesser than promised (Assuming they consider 1000 mb to be 1 gb), all xiaomi phones have data usage indicator from which my usage tells me i've consumed 792.2 mb whereas my account balance and data notification which idea sent says i've got only 95.18 mb data left.

I think this issue has not been fixed yet, you may not assist me personally because it definitely should be affecting other Idea customers as well so I seek that you provide a solution which applies to all your customers, not just me. I'm adding another update from today which shows the discrepancy of at least 87 MB, hope to see you provide fair data volume as per advertised for the recharge. Attaching another picture herewith and hoping to see the issue sorted at your earliest.

    Idea network is very poor and internet is not at all 4g. Customer care has informed me due to idea and vodafone merger we are having network issues, kindly support us for few months so i responded why should we support? Hence i have not paid the bill amount. If you are not providing proper service to me then why are you sending bills??
    My alternative number is [protected]. I am ready to repay the amount but discuss the issue with me.

      I upgraded my idea sim to 4g, after upgradation i stopped to receive any messages. I spoke to customer care representative thrice but the problem couldn't be fixed. I tried all the ways suggested by customer care representative but couldn't help. I need to do a lot of work online so i require otp. Please do fix this problem as the earliest.         I am venu idea cellular long-relationship, trusted 15 year old customer.
        My number [protected] suddenly deactivated today (7-may-19 at 11 am)
        Without prior-intimation, without couple of notification, how come 15 year existing, running number is deactivated?
        My 169/- plan is not yet expired even.
        I have all bank accounts, personal business mapped with it.
        Hence, you should not hurt long-run customer.
        I went to csr idea store, kphb road-1 and explained these.\
        Executive verified records and my messages, there is no prior-communication held.
        So, he given me new sim[protected]
        So, please immediately either you enable my previous existing sim for [protected]
        Or activate [protected] to new sim[protected]

        I cant even post grievance complaints as it warn 'not an idea number. Please enter valid idea number'

        The 3g speed in my area was good enough but since a month the speed has been worse. I'm getting max. 60KBps download speed. Can't even watch a youtube video at 480p. Even 360p buffers. Please resolve this issue as soon as possible.

          Hello,
          I've moved to idea postpaid on 03/april and since then i've been facing issues with internet and connectivity.

          For first 3 days i haven't got any 4g services then i need to contact your customer service to sort this out, they have sorted the 4g issue for me but i was still facing the internet connectivity issue, i. E sometimes it goes to 'h' and sometimes on 4g but somehow i've managed with this and trying to use your services and expecting that this would be sorted very soon as i might be facing these issues because i'm new to idea. But this will not stop here on 06/may the internet has totally stopped working i thought this is because my bill not paid so i've paid the bill but still the services got barred for 24 hours... And if you guys have given the credit limit of 500 it means you shouldn't barred my services till i exceed my credit limit but you had did that and again i need to contact your customer service for this.

          Till now i was expecting that this will get fix as it's my first month with idea so i'm facing more issues and after one month everything will get on track but this hasn't stopped here and on 07/may i have started receiving notification like i have few data left in my account. I would like to ask you that how can i use my 40gb data with such problems in a month and this isn't first time i'm using a postpaid connection as before this i was using airtel and every month my data carried forward from 30gb so how can i use yours 40gb data.
          For this i again need to contact your customer service and i talked with meena, she has advice me that i have used all of my data and now i will get charge rs20/1gb (I'm sending this email to you from these charges too) so i've asked her to refresh my allowances so that i can use internet services smoothly but she denied and said that there is no such option to refresh allowances, it's okay then i ask her that i wish to terminate my postpaid plan as i'm not happy with your services and explained all this to her the issues i'm facing with idea but she rudely (She was very casual in behavior and i think it's not good way to represent your customer service) ask me that i can't cancel this before 90 days of start date and she has placed a request of temporary disconnection on account which is totally not acceptable so i would like to ask you that from all this scenario, is the customer only face all the issues and company does nothing to sort this and in place of fix this the company is saying that i can cancel my plan and get out of this trouble.
          How? Why?
          I want a clear answer of this email that what will company do sort this for me and i also want to permanent lose my number as this is my very old number and if this will disconnect i'll raise this issue to cyber crime and court.

          Also i'll take some strict actions in this regard and sent the same mail copies to other complaints departments and regulatory compliance bodies who will look into this and help me to sort all this trouble.

          I had an idea sim since a long time but now its cellular network is not available.
          i had to install some apps that are connected to that number.

            I have ported my bsnl number to idea recently. After porting i am receiving calls form unknown number. I had called idea cellular customercare and they are not taking any action against it. I usually get call form north india form different number this is the 3rd time i’m registering the complaint here. This is the number form which today got the call ‭+[protected]‬. Please take the necessary action.

            I don't get any incoming calls and SMS. The person making the call gets phone switched off message. This has been happening since 29/04/2019. I can make outgoing calls from the same number.

            It is really a big inconvenience. Please look into this ASAP.

              Hello,

              I received up to 10 calls every week, each time from a different number, asking me to switch to idea/vodafone. These people call themselves employees of idea and vodafone. Al least 3 of these people have spoken to me extremely rudely after i have asked them to stop call my number as i am not interested and removing my number from their database.

              The last number i received this call from is [protected]. I am extremely annoyed and at a loss of how to stop these calls.

                Dear idea team,
                My mobile number is [protected].
                This is regarding the payment i have made on 22nd april 2019of rs 470.82. Amount has been debited from my icici account on same day. I have attached my bank statement and also the message i got from bank.
                I had called your customer care on 22nd april, as i had not got any message from your end in regards to the payment made. I was told to wait for 48 hours for resolution of my problem. After 48 hours as there was no resolution i again placed the following complains:
                Email reference id e[protected] on 24th april
                C[protected]. On 1st may
                C[protected]. On 3rd may
                E[protected] on 4th may
                On 1st may and 4th may i had also mailed you my bank statement which clearly shows the amount debited from my account still on 4th may my services have been deactivated by your team. On my request your customer care activated my services, but only for 48 hours. The complain that i have placed on 4th may, resolution date from your end is 9th may. That means that my number after 48 hours will again get deactivated till the problem is resolved from your end. You team is slow in getting my problem resolved than why as a customer i have to suffer for it. Does idea basically believes in harressing customer.
                This is a clearly harassment to customer. I have done my duty of timely paying my outstanding amount before due date, still as a customer i m harrassed by you. I as a loyal customer has been patiently coordinating with your team since 22nd april 2019 8pm for this issue and had been provided them all support they require for resolving the matter. But am not getting proper response from your end. My matter of 22nd april 2019 still stands unresolved as of today i. E 4th may.
                A humble request please don't test the patience of customer and force them to take adverse steps which in future run will affect the prestige of your company. I could have taken this harressment issue to consumer forum or press but am waiting for proper resolution from idea. Company has not right to discontinue my services even after my making the payment before due date.
                Sir/madam please look into my matter and get my problem solved today itself and also see to it that my services are not deactivated by your team.

                        Now, i tried to recharge the number but unable to recharge.
                        Also not able to connect because i have not balance in it.

                            After filing complaints so many times also the the solution hasn't been provided to me by idea cellular company for the mobile data connection issue at specific location.

                            This is one more time i am raising complaint here and i see there wasn't any much impact of this forum on them.

                            This issue has been logged with idea support teams many times and every time they call after as per the sla date and says that issue is resolved by network team and we are closing the ticket. I have asked them to keep this open until i confirm the issue is resolved but they had closed every time.

                            Every idea user is facing this issue in our area and now planning to change the service provider.

                              My plan was changed without any intimation to me. Regarding this i was having a word with your executive and without giving a complete information he simply hung-up on me.

                              My plan was changed from rs. 99/- pm to rs. 299/- pm which is simply the three times of what i was paying for your services.

                              Ethically it is the responsibility of the company to inform any such changes with proper medium and over an above, all the customer executives should be there to resolve our queries with proper manners and patience. I feel sorry to remind him of his duties of customer handling and of the most basis one of never hanging up a call without the complete information.

                              Initially i was talking to naresh who transferred the call to his senior executive whose behaviour was unacceptably unethical. Additionally i would strongly recommend that customer loyalty to be kept in regards while dealing with a customer who has been with the company for over a decade.

                              I simply wish to discontinue this plan and accept other plans for my number.

                              This unacceptable way of over charging is highly detested and no efforts shall be undertaken by me to pay this service that has not been used or opted by me.

                              I hope this is taken up by the grievance redressal team on priority.

                                I have port my number [protected] from bsnl to idea on dated on 20.04.2019 after a week on dated 27.04.2019 my bsnl sim was deactivated from network but idea sim wasn't activated by company until now.. It is a huge harrassment to me i have contacted the customer care twice but they does not come out with any solution.. Moreover the idea agent sh surinder from jalandhar who has the responsibility to activate this number is not giving me any solution also while filing application form he has filed wrong e mail i'd.
                                I will always regret that why i have choose the idea network the worst service provider.
                                The number is my corporate number due to deactivation of this number i may face reputation or monetary loss, and idea cellular will be responsible for all losses

                                  This is very really surprising to see that even after sending so many reminders i didn't get the resolution for my raised complaints till now by the IDEA company.

                                  Can you please update me the status for my following raised complains:

                                  1) What action has been taken by Idea against their cheated employee ( Ms. Renu)?
                                  2) What is status for migration of my mobile number ([protected])?
                                  3) When this mobile number ([protected]) will convert from Postpaid to Prepaid?

                                  I am a Postpaid IDEA customer and I have a big trust on IDEA services. This mail is to highlight a cheating, fraud, misguided issue done by IDEA executive which I am facing and for which I have already registered complain on IDEA complain section.

                                  Actually I had received a call on my mobile ([protected]) from IDEA executive (Mrs. Renu - [protected]/[protected]) on April 1st week regarding “Addon” to any family mobile number and she told & confirmed me that I will have to pay only your post paid bill as you are paying currently and your Addon mobile number will work as “FREE OF COST”. Then I said ok and I have given my another mobile number ([protected]) which was Pre paid earlier. She told me and confirmed me that your postpaid plan will not be changed and your bill will be remain same as you are paying currently hence after lot of efforts she has added my another number with my mobile number.

                                  Now April month’s bill has been generated (01.04.2019 – 30.04.2019) which having a high amount compared to which I was paying earlier. When I checked the breakup of the bill, it is quite surprising & shocking to me that now my another prepaid number ([protected]) has been converted into Postpaid number and it is under a different high value Postpaid plan (NIRVANA 399), which I was never communicated by her earlier.
                                  Only to covert Prepaid to Postpaid plan and sell the NIRVANA 399 plan, she has done this activity, which I was never expected from her. She has completely washed out the brand value of IDEA in front of me.

                                  Now I want proper action should be taken against her and migrate my mobile number ([protected]) from my main number ([protected]) and convert it from Postpaid to prepaid as it was earlier. Otherwise there is no option for me to port my idea mobile number to another operator (AIRTEL etc).

                                    I have recently port my number in idea ([protected]) on 7th april 2019. After some days, they stopped outgoing and incoming calls on my number on 11th april 2019. I contact to customer care, they told me it was some technical fault.

                                    After some days again i faced same problem, my outgoing calls deactivated on 25th april 2019. This time customer care told me to pay rs 140 for activate my number, they ask me to pay only cash, i paid the amount.

                                    Now its the third time in a month, they deactivate my number again o 27th april 2019, this time they are saying to pay rs 500 as any third person has put my number in alternative number and that third person not pay the bill in 2016.

                                    Please help me to solve the issue. Idea provider just harassing me. I need help from your side, my number is deactivated from last 7 days, this is my only number and i am not able to contact anyone. I am a working women and this can put me in great trouble

                                        I have an idea4g number. It was not recharged since 2-3 months. But I recharged it yesterday by 35 rs /-. But it is not working still.
