I am writing here to show my dissatisfaction with the arrangements made by idp for ielts test on 18th august, 18 in amritsar at punnu international hotel. It was so pathetic that nobody could concentrate on their test properly. Listening module is supposed to be conducted first which was not done due to technical errors in sound system then reading started first. Then they again tried to play listening which could not be played due to technical glitches n short circuit resulting into fire at backside of exam hall. Everyone was panic and in state of restlessness in this situation. Then they started writing module after wasting about one hour. Listening was played at end at about 5:15 pm. No one could concentrate on test properly which means wastage of time and money.
No fire extinguisher n no safety arrangement in well known international test venue.
Authorities plz do something and look into the matter.

I am writing to make a complaint against arrangements at venue in amritsar. Ielts test conducted under idp by punnu international hotel provided the ever worst arrangements; a test which is supposed to finish in 3 hours, finished in 5 hours. And listening module which is supposed to be conducted at first was conducted last on 18th of august. Candidates got so exhausted that outcome was highly disappointed as could not concentrate fully. Ielts is all about concentration and that is what people could not do which resulted in wastage of valuable time and hard earned money. Could you please look into the matter. Will be really grateful if you could take any step in this regard as it is becoming a business only. Please improve your arrangements.

I'm Raj, I have gone to your idp in Vijayawada & there's a counselor Mr.balaram, he just wasted my 2 months time & he didn't even responded to my calls, he used say that I was following up by university didn't reply, "HOW COME A UNIVERSITY CAN'T REPLY FOR 2 MONTHS" & he's so such a useless fellow that didn't clearly mentioned that he can't guide me, on top of that he used give filthy excuses, very bad experience with your IDP...

The exam staff did not give me instructions o[censored]sing another sheet for writing task 2 and i ask a question about the sheet the question is that it is necessary to fill information in another sheet she did not give me answer and get away my row number 7 or seat no. 5 even after the exam she tell me it is necessary it's is ielts idp falt if the company did not check my answers sheet and it's case of my band score lose

I am writing to complain my speaking test due to medical problems i was late to my speaking test. Before the exam has started i have already shown the inspector i have a medical problem and would need to take the medicine inside the exam hall, which they allow. However, now they refuse to admit that i have shown them and mentioned i have a medical problem and refuse to give me any help; also forcing me out of the exam hall. The inspector told me that i should have told them i would be late for the test but i was in the toilet so i couldn’t contact them and when i got back to the exam hall they told me it was too late no one can help me. I have a diarrhoea problem which i have seen the doctor in korea and period pain which i need to take the strongest pain killer from uk, i believe that with my medical problem they should allow me to retake my speaking and i couldn’t control my illness.

I registered for my IELTS test through IDP and money got deducted without registration. I paid Rs12650. I have no acknowledgment of the payment whatsoever. The customer support call gets dropped out mid way without getting through the customer support executive. So, now I am supposed to track my payment without any confirmation. Also, I can't log into my account I created on the with my login creds. This seems like a big sham to me. Would really like a response asap.

Hello sir, i m gurpreet khurmi from bathinda (Punjab). I was working in idp company as invigilator. I was working there from 6-7 months with honesty that every tds know. Daily i catch 5-6 cheating cases those who carry the device system and mobile phones that vivek sir knows very well. I used to check and having responsibilities of packing and then suddenly my duties were stopped and told to me that your mail came without informing me it was stopped so that's not fair and after that device was used in exam as to its extent and then only 2 people were loyal and they reach the centre on time and went late (Gurpreet khurmi (Me) and rajat chaudary).
There was an invigilator named jaskinder singh who was involved in device case who was caught in stella hotel in bhatinda which was also recorded in camera and he was caught by shobit sir. Later, jaskinder told that help him in cheating cases, otherwise he will put a mail, when i refused, he mailed my fake mail and after seeing that mail you stopped my services and duties. As no such proof is available to you as this was not done fair with me. Without checking and asking me you stopped my services. Is this fair and justice?
Sir, kindly take some action and clear our record as no backup is being kept with planet education of their employees.
So, kindly take some action and clear all the doubts. So that these cheating cases can be stopped.
Even, vivek sir also take bribe, that's why my services and duties are stopped, because we catches cheating cases. As our service and duties were loyal towards institution.

Hello,
Ielts is an english assessment exam for foreign trained people. It’s an expensive exam, also listening section is dependent on speakers too, while writing and speaking sections are subjective too. Last saturday on june 23rd, i noticed that speakers had echo and sound wasn’t proper and one of the applicants pointed out that problem too but he was told that sound would be better later on but it wasn’t.
This is going to affect listening results. I appeared at global village calgary test center.

I wrote my ielts on 24th march and my results were to be announced on 6th april, but i haven't recieved my results yet and every time i check with idp, they give me the same reason that my scores have come under scrutiny and it is under investigation. I understand this investigation is for their quality check but for more than 3 months is something painful and now they have stopped responding to my emails as well. I am looking for support here so that i can get my results soon. I have been patient enough for the past 3 months and have invested my money. Time and efforts for the same, hence impatient now.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with marking procedure applied on ielts writing section. Please allow me to elaborate on my complaint thoroughly.

First of all, as an associate professor in english language teaching (Elt), i have been teaching english formally, both as university professor and ielts instructor, since 12 years ago. I have a phd in elt and a tesol cert iv. From australian qualification framework. I have also attended numerous workshops held by idp ielts in my country. You may kindly find the documents in the attached files.

As an individual possessing a phd in elt from an international university, as well as living and teaching in native-speaking country for more than 7 years, i would definitely consider myself to be well-qualified and highly proficient in english. The result of my most recent ielts proves this as well, with reading 9, listening and speaking 8. However, the problem here is with my writing score, which is non-academically marked as 6.5.

Basically, is it, in your opinion, possible for a person, who has written a phd thesis in english, published more than 50 articles in internationally recognized journals, taught in native and non-native countries and been ielts instructor for more than 10 years to get 6.5?! It seems practically ridiculous and ludicrous!

I certainly did not have any kind of grammatical problems, and any spelling mistakes, any deviation from topic and surely i observed all the rules of essay writing for ielts like: cc, ta, gr, vocab, number of words, etc.. Therefore, i find the assigned mark totally illogical and unfair, not to say suspicious!

I am expecting you to take immediate action by taking this matter seriously and asking the related manager to remark my paper. I filled out the enquiry on results form and delivered it to the center exactly on the day i received the results. This, along with other documents like the receipt of remarking, is attached.

Your timely attention to this matter is needed and, unfortunately, if no satisfactory result is obtained, i am ready to take my complaint to higher authorities as well as public. I will definitely send a letter of complaint to australian competition and consumer commission (Accc). Then, the same kind of letter will be sent to australian consumer affairs, and finally go to small claims tribunal.

I did not know why, but the chinese airlines took me to somewhere else leaving me there when chinese custom checked my passport and the date was abnormal, then the staff misunderstood me, i thought it was the only reason, i hate the airlines, my exam result can not be submitted any more, so sad. The chinese airlines can be hard to follow, the workforce's average literacy can be middle school in that district, the passengers were only less than 10, who waited for many hours where we were delayed for a long time without any noticing, at the same time i was having a stomache, overlooking any details, when i went to take exam, the staff perhaps suspected that, i do not know anything else any more. Then the staff in idp never ever told me and notified me, violating my privacy, i hate them.

While booking a slot for general training on 27-05-18 for centre = jammu, money has been deducted while doing hdfc bank netbanking transaction but no confirmation has been received on mail. However message received that payment has been made to idp.

I got a message that my speaking test date is on 30th may 2018 while i booked a test date on 2nd june 2018. I am unable to contact any of your customer care numbers. It's not possible for me to come the days earlier to hyderabad as i have already applied for leave on 2 nd and booked my flight tickets on 1st june 2018
I need some urgent resolution of this issue as i will have to lose 12000 rupees. They have only mentioned that speaking test date might not be the same as test date as a small point in their terms and conditions but is not displayed boldly while booking the test date
I need an urgent resolution or else please refund the money

My name is rachhpal kaur and i gave speaking exam on 2 may 2018 at hotel clarion inn amps arjan complex, sirhind road, patiala punjab-147004. The timing of speaking test was 3:00pm in room no. 426 and candidate no. 1880. The examiner who was taken my exam very rude in a nature. She gave me a bad face expression when i was answer her question and give a bad hand moments while i was speaking due to this it impact on my speaking badly.. And she also moved her chair here and there. She did not give attention to my speaking.. It also may be give bad influence on my result my help me

Today 26 april 2018. Test giving in jalandhar kings hotal. My sister give exams today. Staff talking with her very miss bheivour. Mostly every people have so on anxity in exam and staff give more burdan. My sister rightdwon listing task on answer sheet do quickly and do mistake answer cequance wrong and staff never do correting in reading task. It is not fare because i give 12800 and all time is my resonsibility correct in reading task. Because its my desecition i do reading or wittring and staff member do misbhaivour.

I have booked my ielts english language test exam for april 21st. I will not be attending exam due to health issues (Had kidney stones problem on march 25th and doctor suggested to not sit for long hours as this will increase pain and i will be operated on april 19th, i have all test reports, medical records if required). Also if i will try to postpone my operation, i have urgent office work to deliver on april 21st. So in both cases i m not available for exam. But idp team is not listening. I have told them to postpone to next available date that is may 12 but they are not agreeing. They are saying my total fees which i paid for exam inr 12650 will be gone and i need to rebook exam by paying same amount again.

I gave an ielts exam twice one in december 2017 then now in march so in december i got not good result but this time my exam was very up to the mark but i don't know how due to some technical error on both dates my previous result is reflecting same band score in every module two times is not possible and they are not cooperating me i paid them twice so at least they should cooperate otherwise i will sew them in coat soon. I gave my ielts idp academic exam on 15/march/2018 in jalandhar city and the result was declared on 28/march/2018.
The test report form was dispatched through blue dart with awb#[protected]. The shipment arrived in jalandhar on 30/march/2018. They misplaced the courier their. I need the test report form as soon as possible. The ielts idp website shows they don't send replacement copies. Please help me.

Many people make their future by taking up an ielts. But for me it has not been the case.

I had given the ielts test through idp chennai on the 14th of december 2017
11 weeks after giving the test, idp has not yet disclosed the results.

I have sent numerous enquires over the phone, mail and chat service, and yet there is no information shared about the results.

Idp is conveniently delaying the investigation process, quoting their policies as a reason for the delay.

This delay by idp ielts has costed me dearly. I have lost the oppertunity to apply to a host o[censored]niversities.

Even when i say my future is at stake, these people do not care.

I would like to know if idp can be sued for its irresponsiblity here and lack of time commitment.
