MY MONEY IS STILL WITH THEM & THEY HAVEN'T CONFIRMED MY BOOKING YET. ALSO, I DIDN'T RECEIVE A CALL NOR AN EMAIL EVEN AFTER POSTING HERE. THESE PEOPLE ARE REALLY FRAUDSTERS. PLEASE HELP IN RESOLVING THE ISSUE AT THE SOONEST.

its really good that people are being vocal about this scam!! It's just that people should come in large number and revolt against this organization for cheating young individuals. They first charge 14900/- initially and then if student found result unsatisfactory they tend to charge 11125/- which is almost 70% of the fee. After providing this fee student should supposed to get some softcopy of test form which is submitted to the Cambridge to have transparency. Never know if the test are being reassessed in India or Australia even after the enormous payment for EOR. it time to raise your voice against this sophisticated thugs.

This is soo true. I have aslo suffered from the same. I appeared twice for IELTS and they did the same, earlier they give me 5.5 in one modue, and after that in two modules, and also in very easy modules like listening and reading, moreover i cant apply for recheck due to the fees and marks won't change in this modules too . Not only this they are also giving less marks in other modules whereas we deserves more than that . Not only me, my other friends have also suffered from the same thing.and it defenitely a time to raise voice agnaist this . they are playing with the carrer of the students and their language proficiency. How can it possible if one is excellent in english during his/her school days and medium of the instruction is in english in academics . this is purely scam .

I would like to understand the actions taken on this complaint as I too have the same complaint again IDP where they deliberately give low score in specific section ... because I too am very confident that I can Not get low score on reading ... however, as you rightly said .. They give you 0.5 marks less than the required one ... so that you take the exams again ...

IDP is a CHEAT and Fraud ... along with this they are Harassment to students ... I think there should be a strict action against them ...

Hi, myself Gaurav from Gurgaon. To test my ability in English I booked IELTS slot from IDP (https://www.ieltsidpindia.com) on 6th May 2014. As the nearest available slot that time was on 7th June in Chandigarh, I choose 7th June and booked it because it was Saturday (weekend) and I could easily manage to travel to Chandigarh from Gurgaon being my office is closed on Saturdays.
In total there are four exams to be given in IELTS (Speaking, Listening, Writing and Reading)
As per IDP process they informed about the venue and time details one week prior to scheduled exam date (7th June). With this information, I came to know that my speaking test was scheduled for 4th June i.e Wednesday at 10:20 am, at Planet EDU SCO – 84, 2nd Floor, Sector – 38 C, Chandigarh. Since I have my office on Wednesdays and it was difficult for me to travel to Chandigarh from Gurgaon on working day, I requested IDP to postpone or reschedule speaking test on weekend. But they were very adamant and said as per the rules it cannot happen. I had to agree with them.
Thus, I took an off from office for Wednesday for this speaking test, and travelled to Chandigarh on Tuesday night directly after leaving from office. On Wednesday morning while I was getting ready suddenly I got a call from the test centre @ 8:53am that exam is postponed for Friday as the examiner is not available and they called me to their institute if I want to say something. It was a complete shock to me and I was very much disappointed. I went to their centre with no delay.
When I discussed the matter with the owner of the Institute, he said that these short notice changes are very normal in these tests and can happen. I felt helpless. Now I had to travel back to Gurgaon the same day and again had to reach Chandigarh at test centre on Friday for the exam. As I was in bad mood, I calmly made a suggestion to the owner that they should have a back-up examiner to avoid such situations which cause problems to the examinees. On my these lines, the person turned furious, looked at me with absurd manner, and said in loud and rude voice “now I will see how you will get a good score”. I was completely shattered.
This is very painful to me. I am undergoing a fear now that they may ruin my score in all IELTS exams to take a revenge. My career and future is on stake.
But I had just raised my voice against injustice.

I believe that IDP IELTS is 100% corrupted, those students who are very good in English can crack the desired band score but those who are average students can't if they are not attached with any of the residing consultancies...I had appeared IELTS 5 times till now and I want to show tell how that had been unjustified with the results...
My 1st attempt...I got L-6 R-6 W-6 S-6 overall band score 6.0 I accepted because it was my first attempt and I am an average student...

2nd attempt...I got L-6.5 R-5.5 W-6 S-6 overall band score 6.0 I again made my mind n works hard to achieve the target...

3rd attempt...I got L-6 R-5.5 W-6 S-7 overall band score 6.0 this time I was very sure that my score will be 6.5 but as usual nothing happened...
all of my these attempt was in Pune center I was disturbed and consulted many people regarding this and one of my friend suggested me that I should change the center

4th attempt at Hyderabad center and my score was-
L-6.5 R-5.5 W-6 S-5.5 overall band score 6.0 I was shocked this was my best attempt as I am very much confident regarding all the four modules

5th attempt at Ahmedabad I was depressed this time
my speaking was worst compared to all my attempts but rest rest of the modules were really easy and good and today I again I received a drastic result
L-7 R-5.5 W-5 S-6 overall band score 6.0 how is this possible such scoring?
In all my attempts I had never received less than 6 in writing and in listening I am very sure that I got 34-35 correct answers in writing 27 answers should be correct while my speaking was not good so I expect 5.5 in speaking...

I am very much disturbed feeling like I lost everything...
I already got the PhD opportunity and sponsorship is also waiting for me I want to be a successful researcher but because of this IELTS I can't establish any good thing.
I am totally lost don't know how to move further now

Please somebody tell me that what can I do against this IDP who destroyed my career...

Does anybody who runs this IDP IELTS will able to give me the justification against above results?

I think one day I am going to kill myself because of this IDP IELTS only.

idp ielts is really not a international council.they are there for money only.my acadamic record shows that i have a capability of 7.5 bands in writing but according to thier evaluation i score 5.5 bands.this is such a harmful act by them.i hate idp ielts

The IDP IELTS organization itself is a fraud organization. They forcefully gives less score though you have performed very well in the exam, that why you would go for Recheck of exam paper (equivalent cost if you book for a new exam).
Ultimately they will force you either for recheck or to book for the exam again.

I had incurred a huge loss of nearly $100, 000 after getting Free  counseling from IDP India in 2009 to go abroad who are huge commission making Pty. Ltd companies from Educational Universities Around  the World is their present target starting from Australia, UK, USA, Canada Be Careful  Indians !!!  Struggling for Surviving is my current Situation :'( it's the truth from my Heart . Please Share this Hidden Truth with as many people as you can as I got a responsibility to save lots of Asians and people around the world from the under developing Nations  who are targeted by them too being affected human being I want to let the truth be Known to people Around the World :) Stay Safe Stay Away from Free Services offered  by Private Limited Companies >.<
