I filed it return through speed post though the form was not relevant to the year, then realizing this submitted correctly by hand delivery in the aykar office jammu after a few days & within due date. Seeing rs5510/ outstanding for the year, i went to ito jammu & gave application with challan copy for the correction on[protected]. Now cpc has adjusted refund of rs 1470/- for ay2016-17 against so-called outstanding. Tried to explain the position to cpc in e-nirvana but of no avail. Also met ito ward2 (1) in march 2017, he told to come after 10th of april 2017. I do not know as to why things are not done at their end when nothing is outstanding actually. Since i am a senior citizen it becomes difficult to persuade the matter in which a correction /rectification has to be made by income tax office.

I am working as a govt teacher in Kashmir. Recently a sr asstt namely Khanday who is posted at Zonal Education Office Charari Sharief Budgam included the arrears of March 2016 in my annual income I tried my best to made him understand that income of March 2016 cant not be included in the financial year 2016-17 but he behaved inhumanly. At last he demanded for bribe which I totally refused.
Sir the said person forcefully included me in income tax and deducted amount from my salary and saved others whose income was much more than me.Sir this issue may kindly be solved on prior basis

With due regards I want to bring in your kind information that one namely Mr Khanday who is posted as Sr. Assistant at Zonal Education Office Charari Sharief Budgam has violated all the norms of Income Tax rules at the said office. The said official has no knowledge of Income Tax rules he has included income of March 2016 in the income of financial year 2016-17. When asked about this his behavior was inhuman. The said person has give full relaxation to those persons who are eligible to pay Income tax on the grounds better known by the said Sr. asstt. and deducted income tax from those who were not eligible for the tax. This matter may kindly be taken seriously

ravindra palli's response And also I paid online payment. I got Acknowledgement from them that money is deducted and bank reference details. But when I try to validate the payment by the website provided by them says it's not valid.

yet upto this day i have not received and tracking by given postal refernce the consignment is not found .
