Income Tax Department — Link PAN with Aadhar | |
Sir, I had received mail that now linking Aadhaar name with PAN is made easy. So I tried to link my name (as exactly printed in my Aadhaar card) with my PAN no from the income tax web site using ''LINK AADHAAR''. I get the following reply displayed on the screen : ''Aadhaar-PAN LInking failed''. ''The Aadhaar name provided has a mismatch with the name as per PAN. Please check spelling and correctness and try again''. Though the mail received from I.T. Dept says that linking Aadhaar with PAN made easy, practically it is not accepting to link and it fails. All the details Name, Date Of Birth, Gender all same on PAN and Aadhar, Though all time it's saying Details Mismatch.
Income Tax should / must have to Show WHICH DETAIL IS MISMATCHED in PAN & Aadhar while showing mismatch information to end user.
this really painful. Who's going to take responsiblity of this ?

The website is not working for the Linking and I have filed my returns but has failed due to the Linking

I have tried for adhar pan linking more than 100 times.
It is showing name mismatch.
But every detail in Pan is same as Adhar.
Your site is not working properly.
Your customer care is not responding correctly.
I have visited adhar card center and card center they told me that it is not their business.
your linking center is also not able to link adhar with.
They told me that your details are correct but they also don't know why linking is not proceeded.
Now please tell me who is going to help me for linking.

Linking is failed due to mismatch in name.
What can I do?
For PAN card details, there is no website as aadhar and why the names (surnames) are shortened on PAN card ...no idea.
What is the solution now?
