post — non receipt of magazines

I m not getting the magazines of ICSI and ICAI being a member of the institutes i have subscribed for them and the magazines have not reached up my house though posted by the respective institutes.Even though contacted with several officers i am not able to get the November Magazines. Plz help

Surprisingly, letters other than Book-Post which are posted at Mumbai are received by me in 4-5 days from the date of posting.

Indian Post Office — cheating

i &my wife had an MIS&RD ACCOUNT WITH POST OFFICE.WE STARTED IT THROUGH MAHILAPRADAN .WE ARE ALL WORKING &LIVING IN DUBAI.RECENTLY WE CAME TO KNOW THAT MAHILA PRADAN WITHDRW MY WIFE MATURED MIS(3LAKHS)WITHOUT HER KNOWLEDGE.SIMIL;ARLY AMOUNT IN MY RD(5LAKHS ALSO SHE WITHDRAWN FROM MY RD&CLOSE IT WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE.WHEN ALL THESE HAPPENING WE ARE STILL ABROAD&NOT PRESENT IN INDIA.WE DOUBT SHE WITHDRAWN ALL THES MONEY USING FALSE DOCUMENTS.DOES POST OFFICE HAVE ANY PROVISION TO GIVE THIS MONY WITHOUT OUR PRESENCE.DOES POST OFFICS RESPONSIBLE FOR RETURNING OUR MONY BACK OR ONLY THE MAHILA PRADAN IS RESPONSIBLE?

any way i inquired at chitalapakkam i.e 64 code post office,they said it would have resend to head office,
i could not find .where to approach,
i reminded the sender he told me that if it it is returned to us he may call or send to the correct place.can i get the correct information from postal dept pl.

Post Office — Delay / Non delivery of post

Dear sir

I'm a resident of Mayur Vihar Ph-3 and my area post office (Kalyan Puri) delays to deliver posts. Some times post return backs to the sender also. Due to this my children have fail to appear various exam and I have also received delayed post of important documents.

So I request to the concerned authorities to consider my concern and take an action.

I have not been receiving my letters magazines and bills on time . The post man is very much hostile and delivers the letters when he pleases to and that too when he feels he should or else he dumps all the letters.

but i had not received any acknowledgement from u so reply me as soon as compulsory.i shall be very thankfull to indian post.

but u see the poor bpl people dont hav mony to open a/c in icicibank. this is d only option. allow it. bcos india is democratic were it is made and by and for d people were popl is d primacy and dey r BPL.

1. Below given is the letter of acceptance of fault on your side as alleged by me.
2. As per your version the inquiry has been completed and fault being fixed clearly fixed on you, causing me interest loss for 5 days.
3. Please make arrangements for compensation and cost. Else you loose reputation and become a precedence for bad actions. Tomorrow every cheaters will show their finger at you saying when Postal dept. is by itself cheating it's investors why not them.
4. On 31/10/12 HPO India-600017 abruptly closed shutters at 2.00PM without any prior or proper announcement, put people to great trouble. Since being month end all seen sad at being shooed off by staff making them come again the next day to make R.D. and other payments with FINE.
5. Permanent NOVICES put on counter duty straight from school still have the mentality to "go home by the bell" are seen busy packing to go home at the slightest disturbance of weather. They fail to understand that they are employed in a public serving institution like railways and should not desire to run home at the earliest as done when in school. The same weather which they speak off, is applicable even for us people also. When we have come all the way to honor our commitment and to make payments the same commitment is expected from you [postal] also. Note: for T.D. one entry per page is seen done good without fault in PRINTER.
6. No G.O. is seen for this unlawful closing action of HPO and thus late payment fine for all dues to every people as on 31/10/12 should be WAIVED.

1. T-Nagar HPO Chennai T.N. India-600017 - dt.11/11/12 - Time 1 Pm, ended at 2 Pm - Token:103 - counter:6 (staff) - A.P.M.:Leelavathy - Sr.P.M.:S.Samuael.

2. TERM DEPOSIT AMT: Rs.50, 000/-

3. When approached your office as said above for receiving the repayment of above said TD. on maturity by cheque was denied reasoning that I did not produce enough proof in-spite of voter-card, driving license and land-line bill.
4. In the poster pasted in T-Nagar HPO, under the list of proofs required for transactions I offered copies of listed proofs such as driving license, voter's id and BSNL land-line bill. But all those were rejected and the staffs mentioned above INSISTED to produce all others like aadhar-card etc

5. Further in recent times after News of I-D card scandal where if given for I-D proofs were collected and misused for defrauding I-T refunds and TDS remittances the public including me have become aware to use Proofs not for all occasions and general verification purposes and to use only in case of absolute necessity.

6. Mandatory of proofs was not mentioned by anyone including your STAFF at the time of opening the account and is not seen pressed for in all post offices through India to the best of my knowledge. Erratic enforcement will only lead to ANARCHY and distress among investing public (including myself) who invest their hard earned savings in the Gov. organization for lower interest with the sole intention of SAFETY. Even in cases were it is religiously implemented it should be only PROSPECTIVE and NOT RETROSPECTIVE as per the general principles of Justice.

7. This suddenly pasted poster also is not found to contain G.O./GSR Number and the APPROVAL of TOP Authority except (unnamed) Sr.Postmaster. Such posters only make us think that these type of rules are not passed by UNION OF INDIA and is an act done under DISCRETIONARY powers of the concerned post-offices.

8. Such acts of denial of repayment of maturity amt(Rs.50000) on FRIVOLOUS grounds makes me doubt your intentions APPREHENSIVE of CHEATING my amount by defrauding. Loosing interest for each day of delay and so you are kindly requested to intervene immediately and ISSUE APPROPRIATE clarification to me and to your staff at T-Nagar HPO India -600017. to ensure that I receive my money with no further delay.

9. I perceive and construe this act by your staff at T-Nagar HPO-600017 as an act of VENGEANCE on me as I have raised complaints on their inefficiency in the past and use this trivial issue to satisfy their revenge.

10. Thus DENIAL of REPAYMENT of my invested principle amount on any account after producing sufficient Bona-fide I-D and Address proofs which are beyond reasonable doubts and non-acceptance of New Deposits TANTAMOUNT to OFFENSE as per both CIVIL and CRIMINAL Law and attracts appropriate PENALTIES.

11. To the best of my knowledge in Any-where such as in opening Application form, passbook, closing forms, websites such as "indiapost.gov.in" and "nsiindia.gov.in" and any such authenticated rule manuals containing terms and conditions pertaining to investments in all schemes under post office COVENANTED by you, are NOT seen mention of list of proofs and it's details and other prerequisites. These are found created by concerned P.O.s to their whims and fancies and thus lacking UNIFORMITY in enforcement. Further such demands made by sudden and abrupt fancies of P.O.s and Sr.officers will only put investors like me in fix and will only increase our fear of what further demands will be made in future so as to make my money not reach me and swindle.

12. You are hereby requested to Bring out a GSR or GO or Amendment or notification listing these prerequisite conditions for postal-investments so as to enable us to make suitable arrangements.

13. I SEE SELECTIVE FAVORITISM AND HARASSMENT IN T-NAGAR HPO-600017. WHILE SOME PEOPLE INCLUDING AGENTS OF ACQUITTANCE(WITH STAFF) ARE DISPOSED OFF EASILY WITHOUT SERIOUS SCRUTINY IN-SPITE OF HIGH AMOUNT TRANSACTIONS AND BULK BOOKS TRANSACTION; WHILE PEOPLE LIKE ME ARE SERIOUSLY NOTED AND REPRIMANDED FOR THE SLIGHTEST misdemeanor and now has gone to the extreme extent of REFUSAL OF REPAYMENT. And no PROOFS AND EXPLANATIONS SEEM TO SATISFY THEM.
Many ARE not seen ASKED FOR ANY SORTS OF PROOFS AS DONE FOR ME which is nothing but an act of vindictiveness ON ME.

The above money has been received.
