I paid the price, so this incident MUST be an eye opener for all the consumers.

I've made an enquiry on India MART regarding a PC Graphics Card on September 3, 2022. On next day, around 7.15 PM, I've received a WhatsApp message. The person on the other end called me by name and stated my query on India MART in relation with buying a Graphics Card. (Attaching WhatsApp screenshot). This person told me he has this particular Graphics Card costs around Rs 15000/-. I did not doubt this person because he called me by my name, and even iterated my query on India MART. He asked me to share the address for sending the product, and I did. One more thing, I have never made a purchase through India MART before, so I had no idea how the payment should be made. This scammer shared a bank account detail (belongs to someone in Nagaland), and I transferred the money, followed by sharing the screenshot of the payment. The moment he saw the proof of transfer, he said "please you didn't pay the delivery charge and the insurance fee which is Rs 4000/-". My heart started pounding, stood still for a moment, couldn't believe I have fallen for this.
You know what's worst, he told me he is a Muslim, and he swore Muslims never cheat others (Attaching WhatsApp screenshot). This is where his real game started, manipulating me to fall into his second trap. So, I transferred Rs 4000 and begged him, "I don't mind if you take this 4000 also, but kindly send me the Graphics Card".
Dear readers, this cold-hearted creature swore many times, saying why would he cheat me, trust me blah blah... He said he will send the order next day morning, I've waited till 12 PM, then my intuition told me "Bobby, you're not going to get anything. You just handed over your hard-earned money to some scammer freely".

I have following doubts:

1) This person called me by my name, so from where did he get my name and my mobile phone number?

2) This person understood my requirement and he introduced himself to be from India Mart. This is impersonation. How does this person know I have made an enquiry on India Mart?

3) He asked me "How many units would you love(suspicion) to buy"? The way this person asked me except the word "love", "How many units" implies this person is either a real seller or an imposter/disguised or a scammer who has terms with a seller of India Mart platform?

4) He typed "$15000", instead of Rupees, I've failed to notice that part.

5) I assume these sellers in India MART are exchanging our name, contact number, email address and query with these scammers and the sellers never get caught and these sellers and scammers might be sharing the scammed money, who knows!

Solution for all my readers if anyone of you get scammed not only like this, but by means of any kind of online fraud, follow these steps:

1) Report a fraud by visiting the National Cyber Crime’s website at cybercrime.gov.in or call the Helpline Number on 1930 to report the unauthorised transaction or any fraud.

2) Contact your home branch (Bank) either by phone call or customer care email (recommends email communication can be used as a proof of communication for legality) because you might be getting scammed on non-banking hours, at night, just like in my case.

3) Contact the scammers (culprit's) bank only if you know their bank. In my case, I knew their bank.

I believe I've created an awareness and kindly stay away from online matchmaking platforms like India MART, TradeIndia etc. These people steal your personal details. Share this with your friends, families, acquaintances.

Merchant from indiamart contacted me when I was looking for furniture manufacturer went met him Modern Furniture out of Bangalore name Khaleel Khan +[protected] after giving my requirements he gave a quote for all 3 sets 58500 for one 65000 for one and 23000 for another .and asked for 50k advance to start work . I have given writen
specifications he agreed.

Gave 15k advance and asked him to do 23000 took few days and called and said he is unable to do it due to cnc work his guy is unable to do.

So asked him to do the 58500 set he said need 20k more to start that requested him to do one peice of it first before any further advances he did after prolonged time . The. Asked for another 25 gave it to him ans told him to finish and then take the balance he agreed .

Later he finished all but one peice polish work and water proofing not yet done he again asked for another 2500 saying he is short and again 15000 gave him each time specifying how much balance is left for that set .

Total 57500 is paid only 1000 left . Again he came back and gave some new calculation and says he wants 80k for set and more advance again . Saying polishing not included initially which he never said so and but agreed quite is for all finished product with polish and waterproofing . Now thretens not to finish .

Whole ordeal had to go through multiple advance harassments changing things day to day Nad I have to keep him focused on track all the conversations are on whatsaap

When we add our product their no inquiries related to our product. All buyleads are fake. We are in shock that There is no Local or State enquiry against our product even after all our product used in each and every industry.

1) All the leads coming here are fake and not even a single lead gets converted.

2) Sales team got me registered saying that we can cancel anytime but they have 6 months locking.

3) According to India, if you take Annual plan then you will get 60 leads from which your business will grow but all these leads are fake

4) India gives us an account manager, if we have any problem, then we solve the problem by talking to them. But here after calling manager, they force to upgrade the account.

5) Will call you again and again to register the account, after that you will not even get a call.

6) Every single lead of Indiamart is Fake

We request Indiamart to Refund our Whole amount that we paid to them.

I bought IndiaMart Export pacakge to get export leads and showcase my product in proper way. For the service i bought the catalogue is not working properly. I tried to contact the customer care and complaint on 25th june and todays its 20th july and still they are not able to resolve the complaint and just delaying me. When i am asking for proper reason they just delay with false lies. I asked for refund but they denied saying you getting other half service. I Paid for full so i should get full service but they deny on that. when i complaint this to customer care they talk like nothing has happened and not at all helping.

i want to get the refund or compensation.

Please dont join membership with indiaMART They are scammer, first they call everytime once you paid membership they dont respond correctly, many scam buy leads are there...

i had bought premium buy leads services on 30 may and 7 june and in both the leads fake and fraud .As in both wrong contact number and irresponsive leads were added.Both time complaints were raised against it.But everytime lot of followup is required to close.Both time they also close complaint without informing and calling the complainant.I want strict action against the website and website owner .Kindly help

Our company is registered with India mart E Business Portal from Last almost 8-10 years. So before Covid, I have taken the paid subscription but due to Covid, our business is totally collapsed, I had shut my factory and sack out my every employee due to we don’t have any business from 2020 to 2021. I had not renewed the paid subscription of India mart, if we take paid subscription of Rs 25, 000/- then every buy lead we get from them cost us approximately Rs 28-30/- but due to non availability of fund, I have started purchasing single buy lead of my interest for Rs 353 or 471 /- but as per there commit, each & every buy lead which they are posting on there portal is verified buy lead.

During using their services we came across one issue whatever buy lead which I had purchased from there portal, after purchasing the lead we get contact details, company name and buyer address details, Once we get these details, we call the respective person but he refuses that he don’t have any such requirement or he just surfing the internet & at the same time he got the link of India mart to search product but he don’t have any such requirement or customer didn’t received the call or customers phone which they had given on portal is switch off or even we face such case like we purchased inquiry within few minutes after uploading on India mart portal after getting the contact details of customer, we try to contact that guy, he say that there requirement is fulfilled but as per our product is capex item. So it require to mature the order min. 1 month and max 1 or 2 year.

So in the year 2020 or 2021, as we explained in earlier para, we came across one incident that after purchasing the buy lead, we got contact details of customer, So we tried to contact him, he won’t picked up the phone, So we thought that the customer may be busy, So tried next day, on next day also he won’t picked up the phone call. This happened for 5-6 times, so we send complained mail with details of that customer to India mart, we took follow up for the same at that time they had given me the reimbursement of amount which we spent on that particular inquiry. We are not saying that each & every buy lead have problem but we want to highlight problematic buy leads only.

We got this inquiry around 5.27 pm, so we called to Mr.Chandrashekhar around 5.30 PM but he has not received the call

We got this inquiry around 2.18 pm, We called to Mr.Mohil around 2.20 PM, he received the call, when we had asked him about the requirement details, So he told that he don’t have any such requirement, also he is last year engineering college student and he was searching for the last year engineering project on internet and come across the product which we are manufacturing. We have call recording of Mr. Mohil also where he is clearly saying that he don’t have such requirement.

After such incident we sent complaint mail to customer care mail id of India mart with all call log details, recording & buy lead details but they had denied to reimbursement of buy lead points. we had sent them 2-3 reminder mail about the same and also we got n number of calls in reply to our complaint mail and we had explain the case to all the representative from India mart but no one ready to help me out and clearly denied to give reimbursement of buy lead points.

We have explain them that we had purchased around 10 buy leads in the month of Jan 22 but we had never report the complaint for all 10 buy lead but we are complaining about 2 buy leads which are problematic & rest 8 buy leads we found genuine buy leads. We asked them for the solution for those problematic 2 buy leads but they had not listened to any of our request. They simply ignored the case after we told them that we are going to file complained against them in consumer court, in reply to this they told me that they are not going to reimburse it even if we file case against them in consumer court. They rudely told that they are not afraid to any legal action & also said that whatever you want to do, do it so, they will not going to reimburse the buy lead points.

Please give me your mail id because in attachment section it is not allowing to attach PDF, Word File, Call Recording and Call History Details of both Clients, So Kindly provide us your mail id so we can give you the solid proof against our complaint

I have discontinued their services still they are debiting me with the amount. They are not ready to remove the auto debit and keep charging me. Its done for 2 months till now. I have called customer care hundred times but they talk in very bad manner and dont work. I am badly struck up with these kinds of frauds. Hello, I have contacted the vendors from IndiaMart named, Farid Hasan (Brightways Syndicate-GST No-27AEEPH9415E2ZM) . He has visited the our site and promised to start work and took advance payment . After that we were following with him since 3 weeks but he was giving always new excuses to postpone the work. Finally come to know that he is fake supplier . Registered the compaints against him in IndiaMart. But no updates
Requesting IndiaMart to do quick action on such vendors and do proper verification to avoid such fruads.

Woodlands Ltd. a hospital in Guyana South America bought gowns and linen from Alankaran Furnishings who was on Indiamart.

This website (https://ccuuc2.com/m/index) is fake. They use the name IndiaMart to do affiliate marketing and they persuade you into investing in this website. A person Named Siddhanth persuaded me into investing around Rupees 60000 in the website. I seriously doubt if it is really IndiaMart. If so this url says it's fake. Why would IndiaMart have some silly website without their name in the url. So people, please don't use this website in case anyone refers it to you. I have also identified similar websites with similar tasks in it. Don't trust any of these websites. Especially ( https://ccuuc2.com/m/index). This person Siddhanth persuaded me into recharging again and again saying that he would help me withdraw all the money I invested in it but after I invested there was no reply from him. This website is fake guys. Don't be fooled by these type of websites. A simple identification of similar websites is when you see categories like(VIP 1, VIP 2, Etc.) in the homepage of the website.
