Unheigenic Food practices at Jupiter Hospital, Baner, Pune

On 11 April 2025, my wife and my self consumed lunch at 1:30pm in the Restuarant located on the first floor of the Hospital.

By the time we reached home, we both suffered from severe indigestion.

Our meal was the following :
My self - Podi Ghee Uthapam with Chutney, Ghee Idli, Veg Fried Rice
My Wife - Masala Dosa with Chutney, Veg Fried Rice.

There is not grievance cell in the hospital...

Extremely poor response from billing admission team regarding admission process and rude behaviour,

Without payment not ready to process the admission, even I informed need to process through cashless process.

No one is responding regarding complaint and not ready to listen in terms of payments and cashless...

Refund of excess billing of MRI charges

I Rajesh Shekhawat, admitted in Jupiter Hosptial Baner-Balewadi on 2nd Jan 2024, MR No 226675 for medical surgery of spine. At the time of admission estimated cost informed INR 2, 99, 748. My surgery get done on 3rd Jan 2024 under gipsa-ppn package. The hospital has billed of INR 4, 24, 668 against the estimated cost of INR 2, 99, 748. The insurance company approved amount of INR 2, 87, 874 after considering surgical discount of INR 95, 958...

Day Care bill

My wife had Immunotherapy session on 30.09.2022. Bill was given to me. On checking it next day, I realized that Rs. 9200/- towards procedure was not charged to me. On 01.10.2022, I contacted day care accounts staff and briefed about wrong preparations of Hospital bill. I was told that now new bill can not be prepared and hence I should keep mum. I tried to convince that lady but she told me to forget the matter.

Jupiter hospital 3rd floor day care department

Dear Team,

My father is a regular patient of jupiter hospital. We have been taking chemo since 7 months. I want to complain about following issues in Daycare department 3rd floor Thane:
1- no availability of beds at given appointment. We come on time and have to wait for 2 hrs to secure bed.
2- No or late availability of drug. The required drug or equipments are always unavailable and procured only after arrival...

Unnecessary bill and torture

Pathetic behaviour and careless attitude towards people who are in need of desperate medical attention and with tight budget.
Not ready to wait till the money is arranged and keep asking for money without that not ready to treat the patient as well.
Scaring the hell out people by saying pay or take your patient in this condition to some other place and at the same forcing people to stay back by telling this is very critical...

1There is dispute of medicine in the final bill for day of discharge.

I charged for the medicine which were not given to me on 20th Aug 2021.

RMO not listening to patient's complaint

refund of security deposit of rs 5000/-

Hi,
My name is kiran tapkir.
I underwent pcnl surgery in jupiter hospital on 08/07/2019 to 12/07/2019 and my hospitalization bill was settled under insurance policy. However, i have not received my rs 5000 which i paid as a deposit. Hospital staff had promised that it will refunded once bills are cleared by insurance company but it has not refunded it.

Please help me get refund asap

huge billing difference between estimate or actual bill

I had admitted my wife [removed] in jupiter hospital, pune on 29.06.19. The estimates for the surgery was taken by phone as well as during admission (Daycare) which was around 12000 plus medicine at actuals. The surgery was done and the bill which was presented was for rs.21000 approx.in this 21000 bill the medicine bill was 11000 only. I had to run for around 2.5 hrs to verify the bill with hospital authorities. Many medicines were billed...

refund less amount of deposit

My mother is admitted in jupiter hospital pune from 21/09/2018 to 23/09/2018. We have deposited 5000/- as a security deposit. On the day of discharge, they said that you have to pay 2550/- as per insurance claim. I asked about security deposit of 5000/- and tell them to cut from security amount. They refused to cut it from security amount by saying that this will refund to you after getting confirmation from insurance company. I paid 2550/-...

Refund of Hospitalization claim

1. My wife she got hopitalized in Aug. 2010 and We are covered under corporate medicliam policy from my employer.
2. At the time of admission to Jupiter Hospital , Thane , I deposited Rs. 5000 and they told me they are holding Rs 3000 and will relese the payment after getting payment from Insurance.

Hospital is not providing proper information regarding bill since 30 days my patient renu ramrakhyani is admitted in hospital.

At 30 aug24 since 20:07 pm mediassist TPA query to hospital and hospital give answer at 31 aug 20; 17 pm.Many time inform please give answer to enquire. hospital give answer to late [24 hrs] and mediassist TPA team not statistified .aging same enquiry to hospital .today my Daughter discharge . please give answer to mediassist. my claim is pending due to hospital not cleared enquiry. please look into this issue. please give answer is timely

    I am writing this to express my discomfort with the services during our hospitalization period of 12 days starting from 15th March till 27th March. RMO during night shifts are nt available on desk and appeared to be sleeping. Laid back approach was seen even after intervention. Had to keep following up with sister staff to provide medicine before and post meal. Adding to patient discomfort once they will do a sugar test and after 10 mins they will come back for BP n O2 test not allowing proper rest to the patient. Last, during discharge it was well communicated to have the nebs provided for 7 days and now they are coming back and saying this was nt agreed to b provided.

      This is regarding the unnecessary collection of OPD charges from customer even after doctor informed need not to pay.
      We visited on 08.03.24 to Urologist doctor at 1st floor OPD, during our last visit to doctor a week back for my mother, doctor advised to do a test and asked us to show only the date of the same test done previously before doing the new test. Since we did not carry old reports with us doctor told to bring and show the report next week.
      Today i carried the old reports to hospital and asked the billing staff at first floor that doctor want to see only the date of the previous test done hence i need not to pay and asked her to ask the doctor about the same before collecting OPD charges from me. But the billing staff Mrs. Gauri was so rigid, she was not even interested to ask the doctor and didnt take a bit effort to go to doctors cabin, she even didnt allow me to ask the doctor and unnecssarily argued with me on the same. She said she will not allow me to meet the doctor untill i pay OPD charges and collected charges from me.
      when i met the dorctor and showed him the date of previous test done and When asked, Doctor told me why did you pay? you need not to pay, take your refund from the staff.
      Because of this behaviour from Mrs. Gauri i suffered and wasted my energy and time at hospital. She behaved rigidly and gave it a reason of hospital protocol. This is the act of bahving arbitrarily and giving it a name of hospital protocol. I am sure that Jupitar protocol is not to harrass customers. But staff is ruining hospital name just because of their rigid behaviour and naming it a hospital protocol.
      I request hospital management to please look into this matter, take action and warn her so that she will not harrass the customers unnecessarily in the name of the hospital.

        With reference to captioned subject this is to state that on 28.02.2024 I visited vishesh Jupiter hospital indore in emergency as my son met an accident. In casualty it has been informed that you have to admit him as his hand got fractured. I went to admission counter to take admission but the man sitting and counter was not attending properly. He was neither showing interest and was procrastinating. Further after sitting there for 60 min he

        gave me semi private room. I requested for private room to which he said he will look into it. Then in afternoon when I went to inquire about the room he said room no 503 is alloted to you. Then I took my son for surgery. After surgery at 8.30 pm when we were returning to room they said you have been shifted to 701. I didn't know it is a suit room, nor I have signed anywhere for suit room. Since the hospital was not having private room so have alloted me suite room for which I am totally unknown.

        At the time of surgery they have intimated me charge of Rs. 52000 however in billing they charged 90000 for surgery .On enquiring they said charges are upgraded as per room upgradation. They have charged me heavily as if to suck the blood.

        No one is bothering or listening. Mrs Shakti Patel madam is very rude and impolite . She said aap aaye hi kyo agar paise nahi hai to. She is extremely harsh, rude and was abusive in her language and behaviour.Being single mother it is not possible for me to pay high charges. I request you to please look into this matter.

        I hope you will consider the matter and will not allowed such cheating.

            This complaint is regarding arrogant behaviour from jupiter staff. A young lady wearing specs sitting at the billing counter near private ward, near lift on 4th floor haven't answered patient relative queries property at the time of discharge and behaved very arrogantly with the relatives this week. Quick action shall be taken against this lady and she shall be given lessons to behave politely with the relatives.
