Unheigenic Food practices at Jupiter Hospital, Baner, Pune

On 11 April 2025, my wife and my self consumed lunch at 1:30pm in the Restuarant located on the first floor of the Hospital.

By the time we reached home, we both suffered from severe indigestion.

Our meal was the following :
My self - Podi Ghee Uthapam with Chutney, Ghee Idli, Veg Fried Rice
My Wife - Masala Dosa with Chutney, Veg Fried Rice.

There is not grievance cell in the hospital...

Hospital is not providing proper information regarding bill since 30 days my patient renu ramrakhyani is admitted in hospital.

I would like inform that I am Vikas Rathore . my Daughter is Manasvika Rathore pediatric vard bed no 628 admit hai in your hospital. At 30 aug24 since 20:07 pm mediassist TPA query to hospital and hospital give answer at 31 aug 20; 17 pm.Many time inform please give answer to enquire. hospital give answer to late [24 hrs] and mediassist TPA team not statistified .aging same enquiry to hospital .today my Daughter discharge . please give answer to mediassist. my claim is pending due to hospital not cleared enquiry. please look into this issue. please give answer is timely

    Without payment not ready to process the admission, even I informed need to process through cashless process.

    No one is responding regarding complaint and not ready to listen in terms of payments and cashless...

    I am writing this to express my discomfort with the services during our hospitalization period of 12 days starting from 15th March till 27th March. RMO during night shifts are nt available on desk and appeared to be sleeping. Laid back approach was seen even after intervention. Had to keep following up with sister staff to provide medicine before and post meal. Adding to patient discomfort once they will do a sugar test and after 10 mins they will come back for BP n O2 test not allowing proper rest to the patient. Last, during discharge it was well communicated to have the nebs provided for 7 days and now they are coming back and saying this was nt agreed to b provided.

      This is regarding the unnecessary collection of OPD charges from customer even after doctor informed need not to pay.
      We visited on 08.03.24 to Urologist doctor at 1st floor OPD, during our last visit to doctor a week back for my mother, doctor advised to do a test and asked us to show only the date of the same test done previously before doing the new test. Since we did not carry old reports with us doctor told to bring and show the report next week.
      Today i carried the old reports to hospital and asked the billing staff at first floor that doctor want to see only the date of the previous test done hence i need not to pay and asked her to ask the doctor about the same before collecting OPD charges from me. But the billing staff Mrs. Gauri was so rigid, she was not even interested to ask the doctor and didnt take a bit effort to go to doctors cabin, she even didnt allow me to ask the doctor and unnecssarily argued with me on the same. She said she will not allow me to meet the doctor untill i pay OPD charges and collected charges from me.
      when i met the dorctor and showed him the date of previous test done and When asked, Doctor told me why did you pay? you need not to pay, take your refund from the staff.
      Because of this behaviour from Mrs. Gauri i suffered and wasted my energy and time at hospital. She behaved rigidly and gave it a reason of hospital protocol. This is the act of bahving arbitrarily and giving it a name of hospital protocol. I am sure that Jupitar protocol is not to harrass customers. But staff is ruining hospital name just because of their rigid behaviour and naming it a hospital protocol.
      I request hospital management to please look into this matter, take action and warn her so that she will not harrass the customers unnecessarily in the name of the hospital.

        Dear sir,
        With reference to captioned subject this is to state that on 28.02.2024 I visited vishesh Jupiter hospital indore in emergency as my son met an accident. In casualty it has been informed that you have to admit him as his hand got fractured. I went to admission counter to take admission but the man sitting and counter was not attending properly. He was neither showing interest and was procrastinating. Further after sitting there for 60 min he

        gave me semi private room. I requested for private room to which he said he will look into it. Then in afternoon when I went to inquire about the room he said room no 503 is alloted to you. Then I took my son for surgery. After surgery at 8.30 pm when we were returning to room they said you have been shifted to 701. I didn't know it is a suit room, nor I have signed anywhere for suit room. Since the hospital was not having private room so have alloted me suite room for which I am totally unknown.

        At the time of surgery they have intimated me charge of Rs. 52000 however in billing they charged 90000 for surgery .On enquiring they said charges are upgraded as per room upgradation. They have charged me heavily as if to suck the blood.

        No one is bothering or listening. Mrs Shakti Patel madam is very rude and impolite . She said aap aaye hi kyo agar paise nahi hai to. She is extremely harsh, rude and was abusive in her language and behaviour.Being single mother it is not possible for me to pay high charges. I request you to please look into this matter.

        I hope you will consider the matter and will not allowed such cheating.

            Refund of excess billing of MRI charges

            I Rajesh Shekhawat, admitted in Jupiter Hosptial Baner-Balewadi on 2nd Jan 2024, MR No 226675 for medical surgery of spine. At the time of admission estimated cost informed INR 2, 99, 748. My surgery get done on 3rd Jan 2024 under gipsa-ppn package. The hospital has billed of INR 4, 24, 668 against the estimated cost of INR 2, 99, 748. The insurance company approved amount of INR 2, 87, 874 after considering surgical discount of INR 95, 958...

            This complaint is regarding arrogant behaviour from jupiter staff. A young lady wearing specs sitting at the billing counter near private ward, near lift on 4th floor haven't answered patient relative queries property at the time of discharge and behaved very arrogantly with the relatives this week. Quick action shall be taken against this lady and she shall be given lessons to behave politely with the relatives.

              I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to address a matter concerning the recent autologous stem cell transplant undergone by my wife, Mrs. Mamata Daga, at your esteemed hospital. I must commend the excellent treatment and service provided by your dedicated staff.

              However, upon receiving the hospitalization bill amounting to Rs. 430, 426/- (after Gipsa discount), I was disheartened to discover that only Rs. 320, 040/- had been approved by the insurance company. Regrettably, Rs. 110, 386/- were rejected, posing a considerable financial challenge.

              I am perplexed as to how this portion of the bill, exceeding 25%, falls outside the scope of insurance coverage. I kindly request your attention to this matter to ensure that such financial burdens do not fall upon the relatives of patients who are already coping with stress, despite having insurance coverage of Rs. 12, 00, 000/-.

              I appreciate your prompt consideration and look forward to your guidance on resolving this discrepancy.

                I'm Manivannan, i undergo hemodialysis regularly in Jupiter Hospital. My slot timing is 5 pm to 10 pm.

                I want to bring this to your notice about an incident which happened yesterday September 2, 2023 when I visited Jupiter hospital for hemodialysis (several similar incidents prior).

                I'm usually accompanied by my friend who drops and picks me from hospital, but there are days when I have to self drive to hospital to get my dialysis done.

                So was yesterday the situation where I self drove my car to get my dialysis done. I took the facility of valet parking to park my car around 5 pm and when I finished my dialysis and walked to get my keys and reached the place where my car was parked (as after 10 pm no valet parking assistant is available to bring the car from parking), i noticed all the car are parked in a manner where one cannot open the card oor and enter the car.

                When I tried to question the parking supervisor, Mr.Roopesh, why there is no proper management of parking and how will I get into my car with my hand belted after a dialysis, he replied in a rude manner. He says park your car somewhere outside and he can't do anything about this.

                I wanted to question the Jupiter hospital management why such mismanagement. When the patient has paid for the facility, why there is no proper management of parking facility? What should a patient do in such situation?

                You expect the patient to park the car somewhere far outside and walk together miles to reach the car post dialysis?

                Requesting the hospital management to assign proper parking for such patients who self drive the car to get treatment done.

                Furthermore, please train your staffs to behave properly with patients.

                      Doctor is not available for more than 1 hour to carry Bilirubin test on 4 day old baby delivered in same hospital. Hospitals logo on Patient first is miss leading and only advertising gimmick.

                        Hospital is the permanent house of dengue and malaria. Even the authority are not addressing the issue. Hospital provide us with a racket to kill the mosquito whole night which is provided on hourly basis from one room to another. Even the hospital cannot afford for a pest control or a mosquito plug in.

                          I have been trying to get an appointment with Dr alpa dalal or her any assistant since Friday. But get not get through any response. The particular extension is not getting through and if got through, they are simply cut the phone connection. I am under steroid and my current course got over yesterday and want to know what to do now. Please help.

                            Our patient is admitted from last 1 week but there is no improvement in the patients health. Doctor is not visiting the patient, the nurses and ward brothers are not coming on time when the patient give them an alarm bell

                              Hi Team,

                              I am writing this in regards to some issues which we are facing in the current admission process at the hospital @ thane branch Mumbai.

                              The hospital is denying admission to single occupancy room, I suspect of some malpractice that are carried by your staff in which they are supplying beds to on basis of money exchange or bidding. Yesterday, they were also pushing me to opt for suite and other higher upgrades. To me it seems, they are having reservations for staff family members and doctors for single occupancy. This is ridiculous and unethical practice.

                              Please look into this matter. My dad is a Dr. and he has dedicated his life for others, your staff isn’t considerate and helpful. This isn’t fair and professional.

                              At times, I have also observed that they are treating my dad as a subject and with not respect. I thought humanity is at the core of the hospital service.

                              I also found your customer service and TPA department is rude and unprofessional. I approached your team multiple times, but every time I was turned down with humiliation. This is not what I expect you train your staff for, so please get this right.

                                I was called for endoscopy by Dr. Mukta Bapat on 7.11.22 at 8 am. she gave a slot of two hours, and she didn't reach hospital till 8:45 am. on speaking to her on phone she had a very casual approach towards me. my husband had a meeting at 11:30 am. and she very casually asked us to take appointment for another day. I was on dry fasting for 13 hours. how can a doctor be sitting at home when she has given time to a patient. I had paid Rs.1600 for OPD and Rs.2500 for blood tests which are o[censored]se otherwise that includes tests like HIV etc. I request Jupiter Hospital to refund me Rs 4100. which had gone wasted. Not even a single medicine has been prescribed.
