I have purchased 4 bonds having certificate no 147096 to 99. Certificate number 37572. I have submitted these original bonds for buyback inthe month of march 2017 after completion of 5 years. Still date i have not received the bond amount. Karvy informed that they will process the bond in the next lot. Even after 2 months they never responded to my emails and refund of money to me

      The undersigned alongwith his wife-mrs. Anita gupta, are having joint saving bank account no. [protected] in punjab national bank, sansad marg, new delhi – 110 001 for last about 17 years.in addition, both o[censored]s are having separate nsdl-demat account with punjab national bank (Dp id: in 300708) and client id: 10042082 in respect of vidya bhushan gupta and (Dp id: in300708) and client id: 10042099 in respect of anita gupta. Both o[censored]s are getting nsdl – consolidated account statement regularly. As per latest statements, our kyc status are “ok” (Relevant extracts as enclosed herewith).

      In addition, both our demat accounts are linked with saving bank account of punjab national bank (Details of which has been given here in above). Further, our demat accounts as well as saving bank accounts are linked with aadhar numbers also.

      Recently, we wanted to invest certain amount in “axis mutual fund” as well as in “reliance mutual fund” especially, in “equity link saving scheme”. However, these mutual funds are not accepting our subscription on online as well as otherwise, on the ground, that kyc status is not “ok” and we have to get kyc compliance first and then only we can invest under such scheme.

      It shall not be out of place to mention here, that as per the above record our kyc status are ‘ok’ and we have been investing regularly in the mutual funds. This is for the first time, that such objections are being raised in respect of our accounts.

      My only query in this regard is that, when we are having our kyc status as ‘ok’, then why we again required to fill fresh application form alongwith photographs and so on? All the relevant details required for ‘kyc’ are already there in our demat accounts, namely;

      (I) registered mobile numbers;
      (Ii) linked bank accounts;
      (Iii) pan nos.;
      (Iv) e-mail ids;
      (V) linkage of aadhar numbers etc.

      Lastly, the relevant extracts of mutual fund transaction’s statement for the period 01.02.2017 to 28.02.2017 in which kyc status has been shown as ‘ok’ by karvy i. E. Your company, then we fail to understand as to why my wife is again required to undergo entire process for kyc by furnishing 2 photographs, copy of aadhar card and copy of pan card etc.

      With reference to the query that you had posted, we would like to inform Ms. ANITA GUPTA, KYC was done before 2012 by CDSL Ventures Limited (CVL) which is not considered completely, if the status ‘CVL MF KYC”.

      As per CVL website, Ms. Anitha Gupta KYC is dated 31/01/2011 and shows as ‘CVL MF KYC’.

      If you have already invested in any particular fund house and the KYC done prior to 2012 and now wish to invest again, then you have to complete the KYC formalities again by filling up the new KYC form as per new guidelines.

      From December 1, 2012, certain additional information needs to be submitted as well as an “in person verification’ (IPV) needs to be completed for further investments in any mutual fund with supporting documents duly attested and complete the ‘n person verification’ (IPV).

      Hence we once again request you to register her KYC through (Karvy / Reliance).

      Please provide us your email id, so that we can send the soft copy of KYC application form.

        I had submitted a form with cheque for submission to fpi premium fund at karvy dubai.

        Since the charge structure was not given to me, i asked to hold processing cheque.

        But karvy went ahead and processed the cheque.

        Now i asked for the refund and can cell the application, they deduct 5 percent.

        Because of their fault, i am paying the charges.

        Their service is always poor at dubai. Please check

        We wish to inform you that an intimation was sent to you on 13.07.2016 to surrender the original bond certificate(s) for buyback payment due on 12.12.2016, but we did not receive the same for our further action, since the last date for submission was 11.09.2016. We request you to refer Clause vide No. 6 on the reverse of the bond certificate specifying submission period. Moreover, in line with the said clause, submission of the bond certificate is required for record/reconciliation/mutual protection and to avoid any misuse considering the 10 year maturity of the bond and buyback happening at the mid of maturity period.

        Since we did not receive the original bond certificate, we were unable to consider for buyback and referred for next buyback payment on 12.12.2018.

        Also note that, the bonds are already listed with Stock Exchange, where you can trade the bonds anytime till maturity date. Or if you retain the bonds till next buyback date 12.12.2018 or maturity i.e. 12/12/2021.

            I have sent the original bond to karvy computershare pvt. Ltd., hyderabad-32 on 31.03.2017 vide registered letter receipt no. Rk[protected]in for encashment of idfc infrastructure bond. Till date i have not received the buy back amount. I have several times tried to contact this office, but operator pick the line and transfer to customer care and no response for long time.

Moreover, in line with the said clause, submission of the bond certificate is required for record/reconciliation/mutual protection and to avoid any misuse considering the 10 year maturity of the bond and buyback happening at the mid of maturity period.

              Since we did not receive the original bond certificate within the specified period, we were unable to consider for buyback and referred for next buyback / maturity payment.

              Also note that, the bonds are already listed with Stock Exchange, where you can trade the bonds anytime till maturity date. Or if you retain the bonds till next buyback / maturity.
              I had sent them everything and scanned copies also by 8th november 2016. I have email proof of this, but they did not do anything. And same story 3 years later.

              Each time they suggest that you should sell them in stock exchange which is actually lower price

                      Hello Team, The delay happened because of Karvy Team as they did not inform initially that i need to sent the Indemnity bond as Karvy was not holding my original bond certificate. I have send all the documents on December month and got confirmation from your GREAT CUSTOMER SUPPORT TEAM that I will be receiving the payment by February. Further I have followed up with your Team and came to know that I need to send another set of documents .. And now you are saying that you will process the request by batch only and not as Single Payment. Seriously this is called purposeful cheating !! I'M WONDERING HOW THIS COMPANY IS SURVIVING !! WHY CAN'T YOU EXPEDITE THE PAYMENT PROCESS ? I CAN'T WAIT FOR ONE MONTH AS THIS IS THE SECOND TIME YOUR COMPANY IS CHEATING ME WITH MY BOND MATURITY AMOUNT PAY BACK.
