1. breakdown near dharmapuri at 1.00 am. but alternate vehicle was not arranger till 6.30 am. worst service. vehicle no: tn 41a9901
2. blankets were not provided.
3. tv volume was too high and when requested no proper response for reducing.
4. this is not the first time. the same breakdown issue happened in bangalore trip also. same purple colour bus.
5. inspite of charging too high for tickets especially during festive seasons, why dont you maintain the vehicles properly.
6. luggage was not allowed to be kept in luggage storage space wherein it was utilised for some parcel service purpose, that too a bike was parceled which is against the law.
7. very much annoyed with kpn
... Booked a AC Sleeper bus for 1000 rupees but the qulity was utter waste .. the complete journey ... i was sitting with leaked AC water... :( driver and co worker never cared about that .. worst bus service ever... here after no more bus booking under KPN ... Sucks !!!
Bus No - KA51C-1879. Bus delayed by 1 hour. Improper bus maintenance, no AC inside bus, bad smell like toilet inside bus, rude behavior by driver, rash driving... Please take action as the travel is not worth the money we pay.This is cheating in the name of travels.

    The journey was on[protected] to bangalore from trivandrum.
    H[protected]

    This journey was cancelled by kpn itself due to the known issues and riots.

    I am still waiting for the refund, more of it.. The refund is blocked for customers and sits on kpns bank account, which accumulates interest.

    Worst of the responses from the center where i booked the ticket, where they are telling we dont know any thing..!!!

    Spoke to mr. Ajmal on this on [protected] and his response was rude and irrelevant.

    The argument used was collection amount was not available!! Which is really funny

        Hi Team,

        Booked two tickets for onward and return journey from Chennai to Thiruvananthapuram on 6th of August with the onward travel date as[protected] and return date as[protected], the total amount for four tickets was 6660. Due to some personnel emergency i have cancelled both the tickets on[protected].

        On[protected], i got the refund only for 2858 which is post the deduction of cancellation charges. This refund is only for one side of the journey. Following up with the customer care number given which is based out in Salem from past one month, there is no proper response where the other half of the amount went (Supposed to get a refund of 5716). They are saying that we have refunded, when i checked with the bank, the bank is saying we have received only one payment i.e 2858. Could some one from KPN look in to this and resolve this asap

          I travelled yesterday from Bangalore to Trichy. I was sent a message to mobile no: [protected]. The URL is unreachable and hence I searched net and forward this.
          The travel was satisfactory but I expected excellent. The only reason is between Namakkal and Musiri outer the road condition and the bus speed did not match. I was awakened by the jerks and jolts at about 04.00. This was probably due to the lesser occupation in the bus - there were only 9 passengers.
          Otherwise there is no complaint.
          I also suggest when you ask a customer for feedback, please avoid the word SUBMIT and use either FORWARD or INFORM.
          Pl send only messages or phone calls because i generally do not see Mails.

          Worst travel experience ever..Around 1 ½ i was waiting at the boarding point..the mobile number which was given to contact the driver was switched off..it took 11 hrs to reach my destination even though traffic was very less.

            We travelled in this bus from ooty to chennai. Bus was very noisy and when checked the iron rod above the bed were not properly fitted or may be removed which causing this noise. Addon to that its safety of the passenger who is sleeping as it may fall on his head any time.
            When reached driver he is not supportive and blaming the office maintenance that he reported the problem long time back and no action, if needed he asked us to speak with office people.
            Is there a way to give no star for this transport????

            I am going to file a consumer case for this issue..

              Travelers with knee pain, pregnant woman, physically challenged as well as aged people are having great difficilties with boarding. The steps are too high for them to get in or get down. Many people avoid using your bus because of this reason.

              As a convenience to the travelers, if the management can take one step to provide external steps, it would be a great help for the travelers and increase the travelers count also which is connected with business.

              Ultimately, it adds value to the company and takes it to the world class facility.

              Please consider and try to implement since its not a huge investment.

                My mother aged 60 has booked her ticket from Bangalore to Coimbatore at 2:30bus.she kept waiting at the booking office for the bus to come. But it arrived very late only at 5.15. They hadn't stopped anywhere for dinner also. We had already lost hope with kpn with so many accidents and drunken driver incidents. This is the last time that we are going to travel by kpn.
                Ticket 429C3B. Chennai to tenkasi 3 seats. Seat was wet. ;bus reached at 1pm at perungulathur

                  Helllo all,

                  I am so fetup with kpn travels, since we have traveled from bangalore to devakottai on (13th aug 2016), but the kpn bus (ka41 7299) was break down on the midnight at namakkal (tn) midway, they wont provide any alternate bus upto next two hours, and there is no response from the customer care. me, my wife and two kids are faced too big problem in the midnight, then we have booked rental cap from my packet.

                    This is to register our grievances with regard to the travel from chennai to coimbatore on 13th. August in bus no 1755, given bus time is 9.30. Started at 10.45pm. By 4.30 bus tyre got burst and next vehicle was arranged at 9.35am py 01 ce 9499. Now we are dropped in middle @ g p theatre @2.45 which is unknown place to us.
                    The way of treatment and action taken for the fault is ridiculous and atrocious to the core. I'm travelling with my 2 kids and my husband.
                    I need a compensation and immediate revert from your seniors.

                      Tambaram incharge guy in boarding point - no proper response on bus delay !!!
                      Simply Chating with is friends in boarding point, doesn't care about customer responding !

                      No proper answering for delay !!!
                      I asked the guy to track the bus, he said he can't do that !

                      To be mention - they are young boys, not speak respectively to customers!

                        I had booked a ticket for the bus bound to chennai from Bangalore (12.08.2016 10 pm sleeper ac seat no. L 24 KA 41A9599). It was supposed to pick us at bommanahalli at 10.30 pm. We all had been waiting at bommanahalli and there had been no info about the whereabouts of the bus. The staff at bommanahalli had constantly maintained that the bus will come in half an hour. Even after 12, .30 there were absolutely no signs nor any information about the bus. To our dismay, we found that the bus was there only, behind all other buses. The driver maintained that the bus is not in a position to move with a faulty brake system. The staff at kpn said that the driver is not fit to drive. All of them had been hostile and rude in their behaviour towards passengers. When we tried to board the bus and atleast sit, the driver high handedly said that we can't do so. About 20 of the passengers, seven ladies (one with a 6 month old baby included) were literally on the road until 1.45 in the night. After a series of calls to the head office and the customer complaints cell, the mechanic arrived and the bus started at 2.30, four hours after the scheduled time. Not a word of regret nor a polite information about the delay... All at kpn behaved as if they have shown an act of magnanimity by repairing the bus and bringing us to chennai. Let me ask KPN, have anyone of the passengers paid a rupee less for the ticket? No. You have accepted your responsibility of bringing the passengers to chennai for the ticket consideration. And who on earth has conferred upon you the right to put us into so much trouble at the wee hours of the night? And the behaviour and response of the staff, both at bommanahalli and the head office / complaints section at Salem over phone... HORRIBLE TO SAY THE LEAST. And thanks to this incident, I, as a self respecting individual, wouldn't under any dire situations, book in kpn in the future.

                        And am pretty sure that even this complaint is going to be ignored... That's one thing people at kpn excel... They ignore everyone and treat them highhandedly.

                          I had booked a ticket from mettur to chennai a/c sleeper at 10.00 pm. I got a call from kpn represent vimal on 01/08/2016 evening 5.30 pm told that the bus was cancelled and they arrange the a/c semi sleeper at 11.30 pm. I enquired him from where the bus come he said its come from erode. Then i requested him to arrange the pickup for me at nerijipet first he agreed and cut call. After 10 mins he again called me and said the pickup in nerijipet is not possible. I argued with him he given the manager number then i spoke with him he also not agreed and given his gm and i called gm covey my problem is am traveled with my family lady is there is not possible to reach there 11.30 pm because our last bus from nerijipet to mettur is 8.30 pm. If i catch it also i need to stay in the bus stop more than 2 hours. That fellow told it’s not there problem if possible come and travel or else cancel the ticket. Is the right way to spoke with the customer? If he told this to their family? I got the 8.30 pm bus to mettur reached there 9.15 pm. While enquiry the kpn travek desk he told bus was coming late it’s come by 12.00 pm and after that time while asked he said another half an hour. We didn’t get the bus up to 1.30 pm. Very worst service provider. I never experienced this kind of worst experience with kpn.

                            I had been booked a ticket for my sister in your bus service for 24.07.2016 travel. On that day i & my sister was waiting your bus [protected]@udumalpet bus stand from 7pm onwards., there is 2buses available & nobody was in the bus. I had no way to pick the travelled bus. I ran away from this end to that end which the bus holding area. Finally, i had cached the bus on 7.35pm. There was no responsible person i. E., driver/conductor. And also the door was locked with a seat. I had removed the seat & reached in the bus & then identity the seat for my sister. After sometime, the driver had arrived & moved the bus.
                            I asked to you the following questions:
                            1) if my sister was alone to pick the bus during that time she was definitely missed the bus.
                            2) are you refunds the bus fare?
                            3) the driver/conductor was not checking the passenger’s arrival with the check list in the udumalpet station.
                            4) if the passenger is older age, then they will how to able pickup the bus?
                            Please consider & advise to the responsible persons to avoid these mistakes to improve your best services. This is for your kind information & needful actions.

Your in charge person has rudely said nothing can be done and wanted us to proceed according to our convenience. We have to manage to organize a taxi and come back spending lot of money (Rs. 4500) to the transport. So, i kindly request you to replace our amount along with whatever charges we had spent on taxi for all the mental agony we have undergone at the late hours because of your staff and the defective bus you have provided us

                                I travel from tirunvandapuram to chennai on 11th july 2016. booked the l34 and l35 ticket for my family and paied 3378 rs
                                Problem
                                1. volva bus are not maintained properly.
                                2. 0 % ac on my place and looks 32 c. (very hot)
                                3. move to another place and very very hold.. lot of damage inside the bus

                                I toke lot of photos and let me share latter.

                                  I am a regular traveller in kpn bus service. i am 64 years old and booked a ticket at salem, tamilnadu, k. p.. n office, opposite to new bus stand. i had booked a to and fro ticket to bangalore and salem. boarding pass no g[protected] & g[protected].

                                  The guy at the counter was supposed to give me a change of rs 4, which he denied to give. on asking for the return change, he started using abusive words without even considering my age. i was not the only victim who was denied the issuance of change, there were nearly 2 other people who were also denied change.

                                  When i had told him that i would escalate the issue to the highest possible person in the heirarchy, k. p. natarajan, the guy was rude enough to say that none can actually shake me out of my position.

                                  During my last visit, i was persuaded to avoid booking a bus by giving out deliberate wrong information.

                                  I had to fight for 20 minutes to finally get the change. he had issued the change because there was a crowd that had gathered.

                                    On 11th june 2016, i traveled by kpn from chennai to madurai which arrives tambaram at 10.15 pm. My ticket no. Is tj[protected] and pnr no. Isf[protected] and the seat alloted to me in the sleeper bus is l22. While boarding the bus, the crew member ordered me to take the last seat (L30) as one of the buses has been cancelled. I told him that i cannot take that seat as i would feel jerk and i requested him to allot some seat in the front side. He shouted at me telling that i have to accept whatever seat offered by him. The driver also joined him and he told me that i have to get clarification only from the kpn office and not at him. These people behaved arrogantly and irresponsibly. They do not have even basic courtesy towards the passengers.

                                      On may 21st i booked 2 tickets (Seat no 29 and 30) in the name of balasubramanian and sridhar through ticket no: tj6m78348323, pnr no: e[protected] in kpn travels through redbus for chennai to salem and we have been about to board the bus in guindy by 11.15pm. By 8.15pm i got a message stating that there is a delay of 150 mins in the bus timing and since i was in an urgency going for a death i informed kpn travels that we are not travelling in their bus and in turn i booked 2 tickets from chennai to salem in airzone travels through redbus (Ticket no: tj6m95563564, pnr no: tsrb[protected] and i demanded for a refund from kpn travels.

                                      The next day when i approached kpn travels they said that after cheking their trip sheet they will raise a mail for my refund to redbus and the amount will get credited to my account and after that 11days has gone and in the meanwhile i have spoke to redbus 6 times and i spoke to one mr. Harish [protected] in kpn travels salem and he is the one who confirmed to ms. Rohini (Redbus customer care exe) that the details will be mailed soon and kpn travels also gave a oral confirmation to me and as well as to redbus that we didnt travelled in their bus on that day.

                                      I am feeling mentally sick that both kpn travels and as well as redbus are not in a position to help me out in getting my refund and they are keeping on dragging this issue till today since 21st may.
                                      Travelling from Chennai to Madurai by kpn all the kpn buses stop at Padur the if a passenger wants to use the was area as we are traveling for long distance the facility at this place is pathetic you can't enter the place due to the smell and even it does not have doors But they are charging Rs 5 for the usage Is it not known to the management?

                                        At 10.15pm they ask the passengers to report at Indira Nagar, Bangalore for the 10.30 pm bus available at Bommanahalli...passengers waiting for more than 40 mins for the arrival of pick up vans..stranded literally...no proper service and latharjic approach towards maintaining the time...no avenue for passengers to complaint on such incidences... Its almost happened evetytime with KPN...
