I used to travel frequently between Coimbatore - Chennai KPN travels was regarded as one of the best & decent travel during 90's. But for the past few years their service has become worst while comparing any other travels and even state transport buses doing better than KPN. If the scheduled departure is 9pm, they usually delay 1-1.30hrs. I experienced a bitter service from them. The bus started fro koyamedu and when it neared salem, the bus got breakdown.It was a A/C sleeper. They kept the bus in On condition and driven the A/c. The repair work was going on nearly for 3hours. My scheduled arrival time at coimbatore is 6.00am but it had reached only salem at that time. They are not making any spare bus arrangements. At last i reached coimbatore at 11.00am. The same experienced i witnessed twice in KPN itself. Please dont select KPN for any type of journey. They are irresponsible stupid fellows running the travels. Please avoid and have a safe and happy journey in some others.

      I am S.Pradeep Kanna has booked a ticket in KPN travels from chennai to ooty and return coimbattur to chennai. Yesterday I was started from coimbattur at 10 pm, the ticket checker came and asked my fried to show ticket, he has booked the ticket in online so he received sms, he showen that sms, but asked hard copy of ticket, my friend told to see that sms, suddenly he asked my friend to get down and treated as roude. And i asked dont you have sense, he suddenly raised his hand to beat me. Really worst expeience, instead of going private bus, we can use govt bus, both are same.

        Last minute BUS CANCELLATION
        I had booked a ticket in Volvo KPN Travels for my travel on 25th July 2014 at 6PM.

        I received a call from KPN at 3:00PM saying that BUS got breakdown and cancelled There is no alternate also

        Unfortunately No other bus is having free seat for my travels.

        KPN is not answering properly and simply they are saying they will refund the money.

        Poor service. With that money Can we travel first of all ?

        They are thinking that they are KING of travels.. As customers we
        should not PREFER booking in such buses. KPN is holding #1 in poor
        service.

          Bicycle was booked at oozy office of KPN on 11 th June tobe delivered at komarapalayam Namakkal district Tamilnadu about 140 km from Ooty This is yet tobe delivered When contacted the local office at. KOMRAPALAYAM the concerned person gives irresponsible response and cut the phone while I am online When contacted the head office at Selam they promised me to contact me after enquiry But yet to get reply from them

            I have booked ticket on 8th march 2014. My journey date is 6th April. I have canceled ticket this ticket on 3rd April. The ticket got canceled and the money got deducted is 241.50 and 1368.50 is the refundable amount. I believed by your terms and condition, if the ticket is not available in My Account then the ticket is canceled successfully. My ticket was not available in my account page. So i thought my ticket is canceled successfully. But on 6th of April i got call from driver asking where i am. We told we have canceled tickets.When i checked that time also my ticket was not available in my account. They have not mentioned to check mail or sms to check for confirmed cancellation

              I have booked ticket last week in KPN volvo bus, , , the push back is not functioning,

              route: Namakkal to Bangalore(time at 12:45am)
              the bus comes from Trichy.

              The driver went wrong route from tricy to karur road, and they again turned to right route from kulithalai.
              the bus was last about1 hour 15 mins...

              Seat no i booked 15, 16 and they gave me seat 5, 6 when i was boarding, and pushback also not fuctioning.

                Respected sir,  First learn, how to respect a valuable customer and then keep your customer satisfaction forms in website, first you act then u speak, I booked my ticket for 8.15 pm chennai to ooty bus through kpn travels on 3.10.2013. But without any prior information through mobile or phone .. how come you can cancel bus and change my seat number to l26 to u27.. and your empolyee mr karthick at koyembedu kpn travels speaking rubish ... and like illiterate he is speaking, if you dnt want cancel the ticket.. is this way ur management training your employes.. can't u call prior and say bus s cancelled... and I dnt have any right to ask ur employes about my seat I ll travel monthly 6 times.. but feeling very sad due to ur organisational behaviour.  It is last time I am travelling with kpn.. srm is the best and your organisational employees have no ethics... who is he to change my seat number without prior information. And acting before 5 minutes and saying i[censored] dnt like u cancel...i[censored] dnt know how to satisfy single customer. ?.                   Never take a risk to travel through kpn travels, because thy never inform anything like cancel of bus, changing of already reserved ticket, thy dnt ssy anything before... thy can do anything without ur permission, if you ask thy will make force to cancel ticket and talk to u like gundas and roedys... i[censored] provide ur cell number too thy never react.. thy dnt want consumer happiness.                     Dear Sir
                    I was traveling in the above subject bus yesterday 2nd October 2013 from chennai to ooty. As you aware that this bus is ac sleeper coach and I was collected INR 1820 for two tickets. But as soon as I step in to the bus, I came to know that AC is not working in the bus. I informed bus driver about this but he replied that his duty was only to drive the bus. And he also said if the AC is not working go and ask the person where I reserved the ticket.  I felt so depressed and I complained to Kpn customer care after a while the driver got a call from customer care, soon after the driver jumped into the passenger cabin and he started shouting at me in front of all the passengers which is insult for me.This violent act is not acceptable and such drivers has to be punished severely. I hope KPN customer service is also not supporting to customers and they are supporting drivers.  I can sue Kpn for such activity.Moreover the sound of the bus is so horrible and loud. No use of booking in ac sleeper bus.Kindly take necessary action against the mentioned driver and please let me know your actions. Awaiting for your valuable reply.

                      I traveled from Cochin to Chennai in KPN non-AC bus on[protected]. The bus should come at Guindy by 5.30am. The bus don't have permit and was blocked at TN check post. It took 4 hrs to start from there. and reached guindy at 9 am on[protected]. Since the time was very less and I have to rush to my office, i asked the bus driver to get me down at Pallavaram, but he told Chrompet as Pallavaram and made me get down there. I dont know places in Chennai. I am new to Chennai. I was lost and took half an hour to get correct direction and get to hostel and then to office. Since I was in hurry burry to go to office, I thought of calling the bus office at evening and complaint about the bus drivers. But when I called them, they talked to me very badly. I opted KPN for there punctuality and good behavior.

                        Whenever we are booking tickets in KPN travels from Tiruchengode to Banglore on weekdays they cancelling the bus and asking us to come either in salem bus or erode bus. Around 5 times this has happened to me.

                        When i went and asked for a reason they just saying "don't book here after in this travel it will like this only"...

                        The poorest response ever a help desk member can make.
                        Very very poor service. When we booked ticket at KPN Trichy, today for chennai at 2.15 pm, they said the AC semi sleeper bus from Trichy to Chennai, starting at 2.30 pm will reach chennai by 8.30 pm. But now the time is 11.18 pm. Still the bus has not reached chennai. And when we enquired Salem office at 10.05 pm, after knowing that the bus is 50 kms from chennai, they said, the bus is at Anna Salai. But at that time the bus was nearing perungalathur only. also, after reaching Chennai, inspite of the passengers requesting the conductor to take the bus straight to Koyambedu, it is not taken into consideration and the bus is made to go to all offices, like egmore, t nagar, saidapet, wastedly, since no passengers got down at these places. Why these people are doing like this? How can we travel safe if they behave like this.

                        I have booked a ticket from Trichy to Bangalore today (30.05.2014). The journey date is 22.06.2014. I have selected Lower birth in the Sleeper Bus starting by 10.30 PM.

                        The payment has been made through Citrus and the transaction number is [protected]. The Merchant Transaction number is 15269845. But the ticket was not shown in your page and in the booked ticket also shows empty.

                        Please send the ticket copy through mail. My friends also facing the same problem.

                          This is to notify the worst experience I had travelling Coimbatore to Chennai dated 23.03.2013.

                          #1 Bus suppose to start by 8.30PM ( AC Sleeper 2+1) but didn't start upto 8.45 Pm,

                          Apparently we found the bus thru text from KPN stating BUS number & got in .

                          Few moments later driver & cleaner appeared & virtually chased us down claiming we need to submit our ticket at entrance.

                          How in the world could we find the appropriate person to hand over ticket when the nobody is at entrance '

                          #2 The cleaner also hurriedly pushed fellow passenger to climb on top seat that too in very canny manner.

                          KPN Travels India Ltd — No backup buses if broken down mid-way

                          Avoid travel by the KPN travels at any cost. They never arrange any back-up incase if the buses have to break-down mid-way. They are least bothered when it comes to customer experience. Most of their Volvos
                          are aged enough and are maintained poor. In a recent experience, on 10th Oct from chennai-to-bangalore (KA03-AD-1), the bus started at 2 PM just to stop in the mid-way near pallikonda check post. The bus had a leaky hose pipe, the drivers’ minimal attempt to fix that proved futile. There were kids, ladies, seniors all stranded mid-way with no hope getting this rectified. KPN mgmt was least bothered to arrange for a back-up, they instead sent a mechanic all the way from hosur to fix the same. The mechanic in his way, always gave false information about his where-abouts that kept the passengers guessing. When the mechanic finally arrived it was already 5 hrs since the bus had stopped. Most of the passengers tried arranging cabs/alternate transportation, but got confused when the mechanic said the bus would start in another 10-15 mins. Some of the passengers left to chennai, some found alternate transport. Few unlucky ones like me, had to wait until the bus finally starts. But unfortunately, the fix short lived again. There were no hope for few of them who travelled as none of the buses accept even a request stop. All through krishnagiri/chinnar the driver and mechanic managed to drive the bus with NO AC, intermittantly stopping the bus once in every 10 mins to pour water to the engine coolant tank. Finally at A2B restaurent near hosur, they managed to arrange seats in alternate buses enroute to bgl and we reached bgl 5AM next-day. Given this, I would think twice to travel by this KPN travels. In an unfortunate event, if I have to travel, I’d have the travel option backed-up, since KPN would be least bothered about any passengers under such cases.

                            I used to travel in KPN from madurai to chennai..i got horrible experience on 8.03.2013..I seated in 9.30 KPN bus and bus started towards to chennai..within 45-60 minutes,bus got breakdown..time 10.30 to 10.45 pm.Driver talked to madurai branch..not sure what they have exchenaged exactly..waited for 30 minutes in the bus..after that get down fromm the bus and asked driver about status..he told that we will get spare bus ..after that waited for 45 minutes..no spare came...driver talked to madurai branch and told that no spare bus..need to come other KPN buses which will come on the way..31 seats are required..we catch some KPN buses and seats availabe only 2-3 persons...When we tried to KPN office..no response..totally disappointed..waited up to 1 am and catched another private travel to chennai..
                            This is very worst experience..even KPN is not responding properly..
                            aged people,kids,ladies are waited on the road...hating KPN..
                            please let me know to file case against KPN

                              I wanted to notify you about a very bad experience i had with KPN.

                              I had booked 2 tickets from Cochin to Chennai on 3rd March with the 8:15 PM bus (Boarding Pass No - BB[protected]. The boarding was agreed as Vadakkancherry in Palakkad District. The manager confirms that this information was passed onto the Driver (Ramesh).

                              Myself and my wife waited in the highway from 10:00 till 11:45 in the night. However, we did not get to board the bus. We had constant conversation with the Cochin office and we were told that the driver had forgotten to pick us and has crossed our boarding point.

                              The driver never bothered to stop at this pickup point. His phone was not reachable as well.

                              Such customer service is pathetic and would not do good for any business.

                              Please let this mistake be known to the concerned person, so that such bad instances are not repeated.

                                I booked a ticket in KPN from salem to Bangalore (a/c sleeper) on 25th december, 2012. When i reached the KPN office at 11.30 PM, i was informed that the a/c sleeper bus was cancelled and that we had to travel in a non-a/c seater bus (this was not a volvo or multi axle). As we, about 28 passengers were informed at the last minute, we had no other choice but to board that bus. At about 2.30 am, near krishnagiri tollgate, the bus came to a halt and we were ordered by the bus driver to get down and travel in another bus. As we all get down he then told us that there will be no seperate bus to take us to bangalore but had to occupy any free / empty / vacant seats in any of the KPN busses plying towards Bangalore. All the passengers had to wait in the early hours with their family, kids and luggages and the driver was only busy smoking cigarettes after cigarettes. It took almost 2 hrs for all the passengers to get a seat. As the bus was cancelled, neither the KPN service nor the Redbus informed us in advance. We were made to travel in a non-a/c seater bus, which stopped at Krishnagiri and we were asked to get down and board another bus at about 2.30am. We, about 28 passengers were made to travel in KPN buses travelling towards Bangalore, in vacant/empty seats. We had to wait for hours to get a seat in a KPN bus. It is shameful and KPN has lost its trust.
                                I invite suggestions to lodge a complaint against the KPN services for the deficient service rendered to the passengers.
                                It is high time that these so called Travels are brought to justice.

                                  My Dad sent my brand new bike from Tirupur on KPN Parcel Services tirupur on 18/11/2012. It is excepted to be delivered in tambaram on 20/11/2012 Morning. But my bike is not yet delivered. I called them many times and enquired about my bike delivery. Daily they used to say today nite 7:00 P.M. your bike delivered. But they didnt delivered it yet. I asked them why you people are delivering it late. They didnt respond me well. I told them i would complaint in consumer court. They said you can complaint any where you want. I never saw such an irrating persons.

                                  Please take necessary actions on them.

                                    A parcel was booked from Trichy to chennai on 22nd October 12, the same was when contacted with KPN customer care on 31st Oct 12 they informed that it is ready at Saidapet depot, but when we approached the centre they say it is not yet reached and need to check.

                                    There is no proper repsonse from the service provider

                                    i have booked the parcel on oct-12, materials part material delivered, another part items are missing, call to booking office salem [protected] ha said searching more than 2 months. worst service, not received the materials as on today.

                                      I parceled two sarees to my native Batlagundu from Chennai on[protected] to my parents. I booked that shipment in Nanganallur - LR No: CHE[protected]. They had charged Rs 130 for that. After delivery we found only one Saree in the Shipment. I called to many branches of KPN and could not get any possitive response from them.

                                      Friends, please avoid sending parcels through these THIEVES.

                                        I travelled on KPN travels from Theni to Bangalore on 22.08.2012. I reserved 2 upper berths for me and my wife. We travelled along with our 2.5 years son. Once we settled at our Sleeper berths we found the berths are wet in many places. We just ignored it. After some time we found water is coming in enmasse in different intervels from various AC openings. Water dropping on our faces, body, some times water pouring enmasse on our feets. Horrible. I paid for 2 seats Rs.1440. With one infant son how horrible is it please imagine. I complained to driver. He said he will switch off the AC once Dindigul comes. But the same ordeal continued again. As all seats are filled I cant go for changing the seat also. But the way the driver asked’the U9 and U10 seats know’ it became obvious the staff already know this wetting problem, so they ignored and keep on cheating innocent travelers of their money. Finally full night my wife and me sat on the berth and put our son our lap and kept switching between non wet spots. Please dont ever book in KPN upper berths with your hard earned money. Once back to bangalore I am keep trying their feedback mobile no, no body picking the call. Now me and my wife both are suffering with severe cold (sick).

                                        Another incident also happened on the same day when we started our KPN Bus journey. I booked my ticket from a remote village near Theni through my smart phone. So I need to take the print once i reach Theni. Unlike other travels, KPN doesnt accept mtickets. So I thought of taking it in KPN Travels office. Once I reached Theni, when I called KPN office to ask where it is located, they told me to go and wait opposite to krishna theatre, so that their bus onway will pick up me from there. I went there. In that area I searched for any internet cafe or DTP works. Nothing there nearby that krishna theatre. Once the bus came, the driver refuses to accept my mticket and forced me to submit the printout. I asked for few minutes time. The driver told me he will start once all passengers from that stop boarded. By that time all boarded. I requested for alternative. The driver told me to deposit the money equal to my tickets and take it back before next day 11 am by submitting the printed ticket. I am supposed to go to office by 8 am. Anyway I am ready for that since no other alternative. But when i asked whether any kind of receipt will be provided for that money, Driver refused. I dont know what to do. But I accepted all these since I felt guilty I didnt arrange the printed ticket in advance. Luckily I got an idea suddenly and told the driver I arrange the printout in the next stopping wherever KPN travels located. He agreed for that since next stop was Vathlagundu KPN Travels office. So until Vathlagundu comes me and my wife didnt go to upper berth. Anyway I accepted It was my fault. But once we went to upper berths the above said ordeal/ the sad journey started.
