I have booked the KPN bus service from Chennai to Palakkad on April 28 at 7:45 pm and the bus was suppose to start at 8pm from Chennai.We were supposed to board at Koyembedu at the initial time of booking and later they had sent an SMS changing the boarding point to MMDA bus point.

The bus started 30 min late and at 2:30 am early morning the bus ceased to work because of an engine problem.We had to attend a marriage at Palakkad at 9 am and actual scheduled arrival was 5 am.The bus was still in Vilipuram till 6 am which is just 3 hrs away from Chennai.An alternate bus came around 6 am in the morning on April 29, 2017. We could not attend the marriage and since we had a train booked from Shornur to Kochi, we thought we could at least get down in Palakkad and board the train at 3pm. It was the worst travel experience as we were still in Coimbatore at 1:30 pm and could not rememberven catch the train .

It was a big loss for us, as not only we could attend the wedding but also we lost the money paid in hotel, train and our valuable time.When we called the customer service, we got the worst response . Instead of taking the shortest route, the driver was covering the entire city in Coimbatore as if they had the intension that people would get down in half way.

When we informed them that since we could not board the train to Kochi, we would get down in Kochi as the bus facility is till Kochi with empty seats and there were passengers till Kochi.But they refused this and even asked to pay Rs 1060 per head ..The total amount is even more than flight ticket charge for such a tiresome 24 hrs journey.

So friends for your kind info, please do not afford to book this kind of bus service . Some of the passengers even could not attend their interview and I feel really pity for them. This is a very bad travel experience and we would advice our friends and relatives not travel with KPN.
KPN may be a big transport company, but they are really pathetic in customer service and their attitude towards customers traveling in their bus.
Worst service
We are waiting for more than 2 hours ... they not attend the call worst service.dont booking after 10pm they coming 1clock...

    I have booked d kpn bus from chennai to erode on 26th april 2017 at 9:00 pm... Firstly they changed d pickup point from koyembedu to mdma bus stop... N then till 9:45 the bus din came... When checked with the office... Such a weird response... Atlast they called me by 9:45... N the worst thing happen is they changed d seats... I booked lower seats... They gave me upper one inspite of my knee pain... N the response they give is like hell... Please tea h everyone of them how to speak or response to customer... They respond as if we r travelling free... Kpn may be a big travel company... But nothing in customer service... Such a worst experience...
    I have booked a bike on 20/4/17 from kallakurichi to chennai. he said me the maximum time for delivery will be two days. 6 days have been passed but still no delivery. no proper responses from kallakurichi kpn. dont say yourself as speed service even a tortoise can move faster than you. worst services i had ever seen.

    False commitments. As they said will be picked me tambaram by 7.40 am but d nus reached 8.15 am and no proper response. The bus detonation time is 1.30 pm but they dropped me 3.30pm. The worst service...i will never travel/ recommend this bus herafter

      Dear Sir,
      I booked a ticket from Madurai to Hyderabad on 31st march for the journey of 1st April, through net-banking made from Indian overseas bank. Unfortunately the transaction as incomplete, money was deducted from my account and the ticket was not generated. I was advised to make another transaction through credit card to book the ticket, which was successful.

      At that time I was told that, the money will be refunded in a week of time. It was not done and I contacted your personal, where i was told that it will take 15 to 20 days for refunding, if the payment is made by net-banking.

      By this day it is completing 21 days, still refund is not made.

      I am sorry to say that, this is showing gross irresponsibility on your part.

      Once again I am requesting you to look in to the matter, to retain me as your customer for future. Anyhow I lost my trust in you. Certainly I will be looking for other travels to commute between Hyderabad and Madurai.

        My son suppose to board at 11pm multi axel bus from bangalore to coimbatore.

        Bus came only by 1.30pm in bommanahalli starting 2hours late.

        Worst at 7.30am bus is in tirupur and waiting in the bus stand, spoken to head office yet to respond or neither able to locate... He is asking for bus number!!!

        Really pathetic now a days this has been the routine. He has been travelling monthly twice from bangalore to chennai and vice versa for the past 3years.

        Hope drivers and attenders have some sense and responsibility.

        Really horrible to see such service from a premium service provider.

        My son is travelling in seat number 7window.

          Hello m/s kpn,

          I have booked your parcel service from chennai to nagercoil for my bike shipment... Consignment no che[protected].. My bike received with lot of damages.. Yes even your staff told me any damages.. We are not responsible... But this much of damage not at all accepted. Basic packing knowledge missed from your workers.. My side mirror was packed at speedometer area instead if it could be on seat...

          Bottom of my bike aero blade cover was broken... Punch mark in my seat, indicator crack.. I'm very upset on my consignment. And another cheating from your side was labour charge 350 rupees took to chennai office and 100 rupees for nagercoil.. Loading and other charges already in your receipt..

          I lost lot of money and physical damages on my bike... Who will pay. For my damages and lost money because of your worst staffs behavior... I never thought your service is very worst like this... This is my last connection with your service. I will tell to all my friends about your service...

          Very worst..

          I request please ensure it will not happen to any other customers..

            Travelling from Blr to Chn by kpn at 2.30 pm but thE bus was late by 1 1/2 hr.. and even no responsible answer from the concerned staff or by the driver... When the bus reached Ambur the bus got break down... Only the driver is available no assistant for him...Again he started the bus got break down in wallajah ...When we called the manager he did not response.. so many ladies and children are travelling... So please take immediate action in this regard

              Dear service provider,
              I am an infrequent traveller in the KPN services, to be very frank and I have very low rating for all the private bus service operators. I am sorry about that. I have been advised by my friends who are frequent users of your KPN services and spoke well about your services, promptness, cleanliness of buses and the most importantly, about the customer friendly organisation.

              Yesterday, (02 April 2017) when I had a chance to travel from Madurai to Chennai, I chose KPN services. I felt that was the biggest mistake I have ever committed. The bus was to start by 1315 hours and started only at 1340 hours. My seat no was 39W which I booked through online purchase by paying Rs 923/- for which no hard copy ticket was issued. Right at the start the a/c was very poor with very low air flow. When I asked the crew they it is because the bus was parked in the hot sun, and the a/c will improve as we travel along. But that was a lie they have told which was found out later. The a/c did not improve and I was sweating like hell and so are many of the fellow passengers. Repeated requests to the driver and the crew were made and they could do nothing. Near Ulundurpet we did ask the driver to stop the bus and asked him the details. He said the a/c is not working well right at the start from Madurai. I asked him to contact your office and arrange to do the needful. He replied that he cannot do any thing except giving some contact number to us for contact. After discussion they made a false promise that a mechanic would come to ulundurpet and do the needful. The bus stopped at ulundurpet for 30 minutes and no one turned out for the repair. The bus continued to travel as it is with a very poor quality a/c. The bus not only did not have a/c but also the air circulation in the rear area of the buses. Imagine the plight of passengers travelling during summer afternoon in a bus with a/c provision which did not work and no windows to open for fresh air. Finally I got out at Chengulpet, with a great relief.

              It was a daylight robber by KPN services looting customers and not providing the services as promised. In the end of the journey I feel cheated, an unexpected thing from a company of your repute.

              I contacted all my friends and shared my experience who suggested "KPN cares for customers and do fair business". Both failed in my case - KPN did not care for customers and collected a/c fare for a non a/c service. This is simply outrageous, unethical and unfair trade practice.

              If your organisation cares for customers, get details of all the passengers from you ticketing information and refund the excess amount charged from all, unfairly.

              I am an optimist and still believe that renowned organisations like KPN would take this feedback positively and would like to keep up their reputation.

                Hello sir,

                I have booked the bus ticket from Bangalore to trichy in kpn travels in non-a.c. Sleeper bus. They called me evening and told that the bus has some problem and pls cancel it or change to a.c. Sleeper. I have told them that I am allergical to a.c. Bus. Then they told me to cancel the booked ticket and get the refund. We ask the refund payment but they didn't give. Pls help.
                On asking the status of the bus which is supposed to come at 10 pm on april 13th 2017 from chennai to coimbatore and has not showed up untill 12.3, the driver abused in bad words. I have the recorded call and i intend to file case at the consumer court for the same.
                Very poor from KPN travels, worst travels.
                We traveled from Coimbatore to Chennai in multi-axle a/c sleeper bus . Firstly, we were overcharged and the a/c dint work at all.. No proper response from either the driver or conductor.. Totally bad experience..Worst service

                  We booked 23 rd 80000 rs worth of goods with bill from tirupur to hydrabad at 23 rd February still won't received parcel sir. If asked Salem office first 10 days sale tax problem next ten days container accident.
                  Now buyer go to file case in consumer court. Buyer have all evidence telephonic conversation with Mr. Thangaraj. All bill.

                  It happened at Bommanahalli KPN office. The staffs who are all working in this branch also not ready to resolve this issue.
                  They stopped the bus for more than a hour to wait for 1 passenger. Due to that around 30 people gets suffered. Money minded travels and they aren't ready answer the passengers who already boarded into the bus

                  It's time 12.15 so far bus not arrived.

                    I have booked ticket in KPN AC Volvo coach from Madurai to Chennai.Vehicle schedule time is 13:15 from Madurai but the bus stared by 14:55 only. And AC is not working properly.

                        Hi, am traveling towards kodaikanal from Bangalore KPN travels today and really am fedup of this kind of service.bus reporting time was 8.45pm and we passengers were ter at 8 but bus came out of terminus at 9.15pm and we asked driver he s Telling tat why UL travel by timing ah, is this his job to ask he s telling late to come out of terminus tats fine wat tey wer doing early, no proper response in office too and bus is stopping in all d stops and getting delayed.i guess driver should not board any passengers who r not reserved but am not sure whether tey follow r not r it might b not visible to me...I didn't travel such kind of transport before...This all results in my tomorrow's scheduled duties
                        I think ter s no proper training given
                        Try to maintain time atleast in terminus (starting point).It will serve u better

                          Travelled by 1115 pm sleeper bus number PY01CB9919 Chennai-Bangalore. Reached Hosur at 430am and the bus did not move till 700am. The driver said they dont have permit and we have to change into another bus. They did not bother to keep a bus in waiting and some bus crossed our bus went to Bangalore and it came back to pick up us. No business can sustain if they think can do what they want. These guys should come to street as beggars.

                          Knowing very well KPN is the worst among the options, had to do this on emergency and it was a bloody experience. I know that they will give a damn to these complaints, but I want other users to know.

                          Some time the Travels owners / Drivers thinks that passengers are fool and they wont react what we do in journey. If you are dont have a permit to enter in to another state means why did you serving here. Dont make customer like this. You are all here for us. We are paying money to reach destination on time not to wait in between Journey.

                            Myself Pown and i am working in Bangalore.Frequently i will be travelling to madurai through bus.I always boarding at Madiwala or Bhommanahalli with my family members.Some time we used to wait more 2 hour because of early reaching or delay in bus arrival.In such situation every one wants use toilet/wash room before boarding.But there is no toilet facility for the passenger in both the location.Please provide good drinking water and toilet facility for the passengers as like your bus service.

                            The driver is not responding politely with the destination time, he comments its not flight to maintain timing, it's bus goes on road and don't have specific destination timing...

                            We booked ticket from trichy to chennai and the cost is 850..once we entered into the bus really we were getting vomit.. Cloth, bed and maintenance is very very worst.. Please don't choose this type of worst KPN bus..

                              i got down at kathiparan at 5:35 AM and i realized i missed my wallet in bus, i called them at 5:55 AM and got acknowledged from bus staff that my wallet is there in my seat 26w with 3.7k cash . They asked me to get it back at 9:35 near porur toll plaza, i was waiting for that bus. they gave me my wallet with 1.7k, i asked them where is my rest of 2k . they told this is what left in wallet and started the bus.

                              This is totally unfair . i strongly demand an explanation on it. And also enlight me what should i do further to make it right.

                              such a worst behavior . i thought to give 500rs after i get wallet but they totally disappointed me.

                              i never thought KPN people would do such things.

                              if i dont get proper response then i will seek for online help in internet,

                                I have booked ticket with dropping location central bus stand trichy. They have stopped in trichy junction and called trichy. I asked if the bus is going to central bus stand, no response. Then it moved towards pudukkottai. I was shocked, as i have missed the bus stop. I asked the driver to stop at airport atleast. He asked: " for which place did you book ticket?" he didn't even stop at central bus stand and asked this question. How rude. Then angrily i got down in the next unknown bus stop itself.                                   Hi, I am Subbulakshmi from Trichy. I am self employed (Mother of two grownup children) and I used to sell clothes bought from wholesalers in Tirupur and sell it to customers through stalls in colleges and schools. I had got first time appointment for putting stall in Mahindra city, Chengalpattu on 17-Feb-2017 and I have paid registration fees for that. Since I had put a salem last week, I have sent remaining clothes as a parcel from Salem to chengalpattu on 13-Feb-2017 & paid Rs.330 in KPN Parcel service office, Salem. They have promised me that they will deliver before 17-Feb-2017. Even I have tracked on 15th and 16th Feb. They said me that it was delivered already.
                                  But when I reached Chengalpattu office, I heard it ws not delivered. From morning, Salem guy was saying, the phone was not picked my chengalpattu guy. But chengalpattu guy picked all my calls. They have promised me that it will delivered by 4PM atleast. As function is between 1PM - 8 PM. Being a singe woman, i couldnt able to fight with them, I have accepted to get by 4PM. But its 6PM now, I didnt get responses from them properly. When I called head office first time, they have responded but from second time, till they recognizes me, they are talking fine but after that they are saying, couldnt hear my voice.
                                  The whole day in my empty stall, I was crying like anything. Waste of my registration fees and parcel fare. I have created a bad impression here, they wont call me again for this opportunities. I couldnt bear this money loss, Time loss, Impression loss. Crying like anything. Please help.

                                  I'm now travelling from Chennai to Coimbatore through KPN Mercedes Benz Sleeper... The worst experience forever...damaged in interior roof...dirty interior...LED player not working... Bus not clean...High Fare...But not at all worthy...

                                    I booked bus ticket in KPN through travelyaari from villupuram to Palani . My boarding time at villupuram is 10.45 pm .i called driver tel:[protected] he replied me it will taken 1.30hrs late . So keep on waiting in annamalai hotel (villupuram boarding point). But bus came @12.30 I waited on nearby area. I didn't noticed the bus . Bus started without pickuping me. I asked driver he replied me i taken 4 passengers so i started the bus. But i said bus already late then instead of my seat no L28 who take that seat.why u allowed without checking the ID . Plz take necessary action on him without notice my name & went carelessly. I am unable to come to villupuram bus stand from bypass road in midnight 1 am. Plz refund my Rs.752 my ticket(KPN Boarding Pass: 18656B

                                      My travel is from Rameshwaram to Salem on 10/02/2017 started at 7.10 pm and have not stopped the bus at Salem and for asking they forget to wake up and they changed the driver and he asked us to get down at Thoppur check post at 4.15 pm, is this the way to behave with customers and they haven't arrange any thing for us for return travel to Salem, Service and curtesy is worst and irresponsible and no professionalism in their duty.

                                      I had booked a shipment from Vellore to Erode. When I went to collect the shipment at Erode, the behavior of the Delivery Executive at Erode branch was very rough and bad. Would not suggest KPN Parcel Service to others.

                                        I had booked my bus tickets from chennai to bangalore as on[protected] in KPN travels for sleeper a/c at 10:30pm. On 4th 0f feb exactly at 8:14pm, I got a call from KPN travels saying that ' madam your bus has a break down should we book your ticket in semi sleeper a/c but i had denied for semi sleeper due to my medical issues for dat he replied mam then we will cancel your ticket and your money will be refunded tommorow by 12:00 pm to your account'.Later on[protected] when i called him for the refund he said mam you need to talk to red bus as you booked your tickets through it .
                                        now my point is it as not redbus which had called me and said the bus has broken down it was KPN travels which had called me i request for a imidiate action and for refund as soon as possible
