It is dismal to note the pathetic services by Airtel Broadband.
1. On 8th July -13 - based on your call from customer service offering Rapid 30 gb -1599 (8mbps/512kbps) combo plan, I HAD CHANGED THE PLAN.
2. Ever since then I have been facing frequent disconnection of the internet, disturbing my work and mails to my groups.
3. I had complained to your customer service Mr Hiju on 12/7/13 and reference number 35479660 @10.50 am.
4. Your technician came found it was working and after some time on observation he found it was disconnecting, he rectified and closed the file the same night
5. On 13/7/2013 once again the internet started disconnecting, I complained to customer service on 13.07.13 at 12.50pm and reference number is 35538790
6. A technician came the internet was working and he said the frequent disconnect is due to upgrading to 8mbps speed and copper wire in airtel cable cannot with stand and complaint was kept in observation
7. After Observation on 15th july I once again revised the plan30gb/1499(4mbps/256kbps) and it was effected
8. Even after this there are frequent disconnections
9. Between 15th July till now I would have made more than 12 calls to your customer service and complaint no – 35538790 is still open and no technician has visited, despite assurances by customer service dept
10. I spoke to Mr A.Karthik – Team Leader – Customer care - Platinum care, but it is of no use.
Till today I am unable to send mails with attachments nor proceed with my mundane work.
Airtel services is pathetic, they expect customers to beg, they call themselves as Platinum care Services and it seems to be like Rusted iron services. In fact I feel I am being cheated by AIRTEL, between 13th july to this date I am not able to consistently do my work on PC AND WILL airtel REFUND ME THE MONEY Pro-rata.

even i am facing issues's with airtel.

i have got my post paid number disconnected and even after that they have deducted 2 ECS from my account and now shamelessly they are blaming it to their franchisee and every other things in the world, but they are not ready to repay the money. Every time they are making execuse of repaying after 15 days, after 28 days etc.

AirTel Bharti — Pathetic processes and Customer Service

Airtel customer care is pathetic! The process are not so in place and as a result interacting with the cutsomer care can be mentally and emotionally draining!
for one problem 8 different people call you asking you for the same information. They note down wrong information in their database, wrong phone numbers and if they say they give you appointment for today in their database they would update it for tomorrow!
Disgusted totally!!...
They goo[censored]p even the smallest of the requests and then you end up calling them up following up with them like a hundred times.

Nobody takes ownership and keeps transfering calls saying it is not the concerned departments.

Please improve your processes and make your customer's life simple.

Airtel mobile services are the most pathetic services I have ever experienced….. I have converted my corporate connection to a personal connection ([protected])in last week in June and by giving all the required documents . after confirming that all the documentation and verification is over and there will be no issues they first disconnected my number in first 3 days and then when my ex company employees spoke to to the higher authorities, the same was started again . I was very skeptical about using the same no but still I though that they have confirmed so there should be no issues in future . I also paid all the unbilled amount well in advance to avoid any surprises…. As I am traveling most of the times ….today in the afternoon again I got to know that, my cell was disconnected with out informing me ….or even sending an sms . after numerous tries I got thru the postpaid call center and they told me that the system is migrated and hence they do not have any info on my account …..i had to send some one to visit the showroom personally to check as I had no medium of communication and I get to know after 1 hr being there that thre is some issue with transfer … god know how the airtel is functioning …it is ridiculous ….if airtel customer care ppl have any answer to this then call me on [protected] or [protected]@gmail.com

I had the same problem. i was having a prepaid connection.i complained them lots of times but no remedies.i myself found the solution. i jus threw my airtel sim and went for vodafone.

I am Kumar.k[Illiterate about your postpaid service]. My airtel number is [protected]. I have been using airtel more than 3 yrs. Before 6 months, I have changed my connection from prepaid to postpaid services in the same number. In this postpaid connection I have been faced a lot of service problems, which I mentioned below.
I paid Rs.300 as deposit. Ambathur Relationship centre agreed the following the statements while taking the connection.
1> Pay Rs. 300 as deposit which will be refunded from your fourth month bill.
2> If You wish, you can again migrate from postpaid to prepaid, without any migration fee, but it is applicable only after 3-months usage of your postpaid connection.
I choosen the plan name ”polarish-corp” which is a corporate connection. For this Ambathur Relationship centre given the following details.
1> Monthly 600-min free for any mobile, except roaming calls
2> 5000-local sms free.
3> You will be getting service tax of 10.36%
They didn’t tell that anything about credit-limit details. I have taken the connection in Aug month, after ten days Outgoing calls and message sent facility has been blocked. I made a call to customer care, those people gave the following information
1> Once your unbilled amount cross your credit limit means, your connection will be barred.
2> To overcome this barrier, you have to pay the unbilled amount totally, this amount will be minus from the sub-sequent months.
3> Otherwise, once your bill generated pay the billed amount, connection will be activated.
4> Your credit limit initially is Rs.1200, will be increased based on your usage.
You just think one think, if your AIRTEL service given me free sms of 5000 means, on daily basis minum I can sent 200 sms, so my billed amount will be Rs.200 per day. If I sent 1200-sms in 10-days means obviously my credit limited will reach Rs.1200. So as per your scheme I need to use your service only for 10-days in a month of 30-days.
And then I need pay the rent for the remaining days which I didn’t use for any calls and any sms.
So for 10-days service I have to make 300 right?. If you have strict scheme that should not cross credit limit menas either you need to collect that mount as deposit in the beginning or you have inform while taking the connection for the uninterrupted service. You people are working in such a brilliant and diplomatic way.

I took the connection on aug’05. My connection barred after 12-days from aug’05, probably aug-20. As I informed above, as per customer care people conversation, I was waiting for my bill generation that is on sep-05. The bill was not generated at the particular time period.
Again I called the customer care, again they are saying, there is a process updation going on, it will be rectified only after sep-12. Sorry we are helpless.
Finally bill generated, I didn’t receive hotcopy of the bill. Calling to cus care, they are giving bla bla bla reasons which is not at all acceptable. By raising complaint, talking, talking, talking to cus care, I got the bill after due date of that particular month.
FOR THAT I NEED TO PAY THE BILL BEFORE DUE DATE. How do you people expect me to pay the bill on time for this worst service especially the service with AMBATHUR RELATIONSHIP CENTRE.
IN AMBATHUR RELATIONSHIP CENTRE I paid Rs.600 as cash, those people[Ms. shakila] said connection will be activated within 4-Hours of the payment. But not, I called to the number in that bill, he said that sorry sir, that is wrong information. Customer care people saying credit card payment is accepted, in relationship centre they are saying card payment not accepted.
WHY THERE IS A KNOWLEDGE GAP BETWEEN CUSTOMER CARE AND RELATIONSHIP CENTRE PEOPLES.
FOR YOUR CARELESS I AM CHARGABLE RIGHT?
5-oct-2009 to 04-nov-2009- bill amount is Rs.292.30; due date:25-11/2009.
5-oct-2009 to 04-nov-2009- bill amount is Rs.274.21; due date:25-12/2009. For both the month payments you people called me, I said that please comeback with me deposit deduction of by bill, why you people not detecting the deposit which you agreed while taking the connection. So many people called me, I told the same to everyone. BUT NOT ONE CAMEBACK WITH THE DETAIL. Connection barred probably, on November 12. It shows that “SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED”. While try the call my number is “THE NUMBER YOU HAVE CALLED DOES NOT EXIST”.
I gone to AMBATHUR RELATIONSHIP CENTRE to make onemonth payment on 23-nov-2009. Those people said that “YOU HAVE TO PAY THE TWO MONTHS BILL, THEN ONLY YOUR CONNECTION WILL BE ACTIVATED AND AS YOUR REGISTRATION FAILED YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED ANY RENT FOR THESE REGISTRATION FAILED PERIOD” As I have two more days to pay my nov-bill, those people didn’t accept the oct’month bill Why is it So?



SUDDENLY,
On jan-01, I have noticed that my airtel number connection activated without any intimation.
You people didn’t accept the onemonth payment for connection activation.
BUT WITHOUT ANY PAYMENT YOU HAVE ACTIVATED THE CONNECTION. SO YOU WILL CHARGE THE RENT FOR THE ENTIRE MONTH WHICH I DON’T USE YOUR SERVICE RIGHT?
THE FAVOUR WHICH I EXPECT FROM YOU IS
DON’T CHARGE RENT SIM REGISTRATION FAILED TIME TO JAN-01.
REFUND OF MY DEPOSIT.
DON’T CHARGE ME THE LATE PAYMENT FROM 5-oct-2009 to 04-nov-2009. I will pay the latepayment for 5-oct-2009 to 04-nov-2009.
DON’T CHARGE ME FOR MIGRATION FROM POSTPAID TO PREPAID. I would like to retain my airtel number as prepaid connection, provided the favour of these.

AirTel — Airtel - Pathetic Service Provider

Dear Airtel (pathetic service provider)



I wish to inform you that I have given a request for conversion of my prepaid mobile no. [protected] into Postpaid on January 3, 2010 and paid the requisite fee (plan 998 Advance Rental) alongwith Application Form as well as Photo ID (Driving License), Address Proof (Airtel Landline Bill) & passport size photograph at Airtel Showroom at Dilshad Colony E-Block. My services got activated on 4th January 2010. Kindly note the following treatment which I have been getting till date:



9th January 2010: Got an SMS from AD-SERVICE to submit my documents to the nearest Airtel Showroom.



10th January 2010: Got an SMS from AD-SERVICE to submit my documents to the nearest Airtel Showroom.



12th January 2010: Got a Call from Airtel to submit the documents otherwise services will be barred.



13th January 2010: I contacted Airtel Showroom in Dilshad Colony and submitted the documents again and got the assurance that the
services will not be barred.


14th January 2010: MY OUTGOING CALLS WERE BARRED



15th January 2010: Given a complaint to Customer Care for the same and got the Ref. No. 30435704 with an assurance that the same will
be resolved by 19th January 2010.


18th January 2010: Got a call / SMS from Airtel and asking for my outstanding dues on a number [protected] which I was carrying in
2007 and surrendered in October 2007.


18th January 2010: Gave a call to customer care asking for details of the amount of Rs.1569/- as I have already paid all the dues in 2007
itself and after that got Landline and other postpaid connection in 2009.


19th January 2010: My incoming calls and outgoing calls were barred due to non-receipt of application form called customer care and asking
for the reason and got only Ref No. F[protected] to get a call in 2 hours time.




19th January 2010: After two hours again called Customer Care and got another Ref No. F[protected] to get a call in 2 hours time.





19th January 2010: I had to pay an amount of Rs.1560/- without even knowing the details as I was blackmailed by AIRTEL.



19th January 2010: Given a complaint to Customer care for the same and my services were resumed. No. F[protected].



20th January 2010: While roaming to Jaipur got a call from Airtel Showroom that my form has been rejected due to signature mismatch on Driving License (issued in 2001).



21st January 2010: Contacted Customer care and asking to give me one pretty reason why I am suffering with all these issues and got a ref. No. 30525977 and a call back assurance ref no.[protected].



21st January 2010: Contacted Airtel Showroom submitted all the documents 3rd time and fill the Application Form again.



21st January 2010: Got a Call from Mr. Sartaz who were not even polite and ask about my problem and I had to sing a song for him again. He just gave me an assurance that the same will be resuming in due course of time.



Could you please give me one pretty reason?



Ø WHY A COMPANY WHO CLAIMS TO BE NUMBER ONE doing these kinds of things with a prominent customer?

Ø On what basis you have asked for outstanding dues of Rs.1569/- related to 2007 even after 3 years?

Ø Why you have not sent any reminder in last three years or when I have applied for other postpaid number / landline number as I am residing there for last 7 years?



Kindly solve this issue and refund my 1560/- immediately or provide me the details of the outstanding at once otherwise I will be in constraint to lodge a complaint against AIRTEL in consumer court.

Airtel Mobile — Frequent disconnects

Airtel has disconnected my service and reconnected 4 times in last 5 weeks for address verfication. Everytime they say it would be the last time and then a few days later they disconnect again. Their support and technology infrastructure is very poor compared to other providers. Stay away from these guys.

Vodafone — Network Complaint is not fixed in more than 7 months

There are following three complaints.
1> The network in my locality is very bad. I am facing the problem of call drops and poor voice clarity. After filling so many complaint with Vodafone the network issue is not yet fixed. Here are the list of complaints made since Nov 2009.

The funny part is they close the complaint without my feedback and without doing rectification.

2> vodafone keeps on giving missed call for enrolling for the caller tunes.

PATHETIC SERVICE OF AIRTEL.





This is to inform that my name is Vikas Sarin, R/o: Flat No: 396, Sector:19, Pocket:3, Dwarka, New Delhi. I am using a regular connection of Airtel Bearing Mobile No: [protected], since from last 11 Months approx).







THE MOST PATHETIC THING ON PART OF AIRTEL .







I had visited their Customer Relationship Center situated in Dwarka, Sector:4, on , 20/07/10 and placed a request that I want to convert my Regular Connection into a prepaid connection & the response given to me was that we are out of stock of prepaid sim cards from last 15 Days & for another 15 Days they will not be available. I was realy shocked by this response of Airtel executive. The more worst thing is that after this I called at the customer Care Number of Airtel ( 121 ) on 20/07/10 itself & lodged a complaint about this with them.



A Service Request Number: 33225030, was given to me & it was told to me that Airtel will get back to me by 22/07/10, along with a solution for my complaint. But even on 22/07/10, nothing happened & the executives of a so called reputed company Airtel, even don’t have a curtsey to even call me.



On, 22/07/10, I called at their Customer Care No( 121) again for the same & instead of apologizing their executive simply told me that the all he can do is that He can take my complaint again & He simply gave me a another Service Request No:33260503. But even after my 2 Requests, till now ( On 23/07/10), nothing have happened yet & no one from Airtel’s side have contacted me yet. This is really pathetic on part of a so called reputed company Airtel.







Now I request the concerned authorities to kindly look into the matter & provide me a solution & please don’t force me to knock the doors of the Media & the consumer court for the same.

Airtel Broadband — Airtel Broadband and fixed line

I have been enjoying the services of Airtel Broadband and Landline for last 3-4 years. My due date for renewal is 18th March 2011. I was informed that the old unlimited prepaid plans have been discontinued and now I am under new plan of Rs.2000 per mont. This is against the law without asking / telling me this is done and they will come for recovery of dues which is never done by me. I have sent them a mail today i.e. 16th March 2011 for discontinuence of both the services i.e. Broadband and fixed line.
Please take up my matter with them.

Airtel Broadband — Broadband never works

I have an Airtel Broadband connection alongwith a landline telephone. We had made an advance payment for a year to use the broadband connection. Since the last 2 months the internet is not working. I lodged a complaint and their engineer visited our premises and got the connection working asking us not to switch off the computer for atleast and hour. We followed the instructions given to us. Next day onwards it stopped again. A few days later we registered another complain. Surprisingly this complain was closed even without a visit siting that there is a problem in the internal wiring. How could they reach to a conclusion that there is a problem in the internal wiring without even checking it? I filed another complain and the service engineer arrived to check. They worked for about 2 hours and said that they changed the wiring. It worked for one more day and then died again.
Finally I was fed up with the kind of service provided to me and decided to get rid of the connection and terminate it. I visited the Airtel office and filled in the form for disconnection. I ask for the refund of the balance amount which they have with them which they bluntly refused to refund stating that its not their policy to refund.
Airtel is incompetent to provide services for which we applied for and paid as well in advance. This is daylight robbery. Nowhere were we told that in case if we pay in advance and plan to terminate the services we would not be getting the refund. Their not refunding the payment made against delivery of a promised service, which was not provided and which is not wanted, is tantamount to unfair practice and breach of contract. Also, I had applied for a disconnection on 14/05/2011 for which I received an SMS stating that my query will be processed by 01/07/2011. Are these guys a bunch of ? Does it take them 1.5 months to disconnect a connection?
I am approaching the Consumer Court and file a case against them for cheating customers.

AirTel — Airtel Fixed Line and Broadband

Gentleman,

My Phone Line is not working from last 03 months. My Complaint no. is 43632248,
Phone is on the name of Kuldip Nath. I have given the request for disconnection
on 15 April 2011. For this you have given me a new reference no. 1448562. Now
you have raised a bill in favor of me. I just want to know that why this bill
raised when i have already disconnect the phone. Why should we pay this bill as phone line is not working from last 3 months and i have already disconnect this number from my side.

I don't know how much time Airtel People will take to disconnect my connection and cancel the bill for the amount of Rs.668/-.
Not sorted out yet.
My issue has not been resolved yet. Still i have got
message that u have resume your services. I don't know why you people
not disconnect my connection. Now it becomes a project for me to
disconnect my connection. These are your service that from 23rd April.
you are disturbing me every hour and till now no solution from your
side. Now you raised 2nd month bill.

Please waive off my outstanding bills because my phoneline in dead from
last 03 months. And also, disconnect my landline and braodband
connection.
