I have been charged with a Challan bearing No. HSPCC[protected] for Speed Violation near Manor, Maharashtra on 16th December 2020. The speed limit stated in the challan is 94 kmph on the highway and my car was moving at 105 kmph.
We are law abiding citizens and we always adhere to the rule and regulations set by the government for its citizenz. Sir, in relation to the above raised challan, I would like to let you know that, there were no notifications displayed in the said area, which would suggest us to slow down or maintain this speed limit. Therefore, request you to please cancel these charges and reverse the challan at the earliest.
◦ Dear Sir
◦ Please refer to echallan no.HSPCC[protected] sent to my phone via SMS. I would like to lodge a complaint regarding wrong Echallan issued to me. The facts are as follows:
◦ The location, vehicle make, vehicle number plate as per the image in the challan do not pertain to me :- a) Location- I stay at Nashik and have never gone beyond 8-9 kms from my residence since 20th March 2020 as I do not have a reason to do so. b) Secondly, as seen in the image provided the vehicle fined by you is a white colour SUV with number plate MH15-FN1680. So, the number quoted in the Echallan is wrong.
◦ I own a black Maruti Baleno car with number MH15-FN1660 - so vehicle in the image does not belong to me.
◦ In view of the above facts it is clear that Echallan has been wrongly issued in my name. The mistake may kindly be rectified, thanks. Regards, B V Purohit, Nashik.
