With reference to the cancellation of my policies, I have requested to cancel policies and return the policies documents to my assign relationship manager Rajiv Verma ( [protected] ) within a free lookout period, I am was allotted policy cancellation codes as mentioned below and told me I will be getting my money back on or before 1st September. Till today I have not heard anything from Maxlife, I call to their call-center and shocked to know that they have not processed my request to cancel the policies (and now the free look period is lapsed due to these delays). First of all the policies were sold to me with some fake promises like they will be given me 50% cash back and health insurance and these policies are refundable in a year . only one policy need to proceed with till 6 years ( but that all are false commitments). When I realize it and immediately asked for cancellation of the policies and call Rajiv Verma and he assured me again that I will get these benefits but I persist to cancellation of the policies and return my policy documents to them. Dear team please suggest me how can I get my money back Policies #[protected],[protected] and[protected] Cancellation code given to me: LGC_CC_5527, LGC_CC_5489 andLGC_CC_5410. It seems they have given me the fake cancellation code so that I could be assured of cancellation and wait for the refund and free look period lapses. I am going through with mental stress and I am not able concentrate on work due to cheat happens to me. Now I will not be able to trust anybody in the world . regards, Sachin [protected]

    I am having 2 policies of Max Life numbered[protected]/[protected]. Previously, I was staying at Kolhapur & the abovesaid policies were bought in Kolhapur. Last year, Company had sent the cheques of Bonus to my address, but as I was outside of Kolhapur, the cheques went back. I came to know the fact on mail, hence I contacted Kolhapur Branch, but I could not get proper services. Hence contacted & visited your Pune Branch (Kothrud). There I understood, that some forms need to be filled. Hence I submitted all the forms alongwith the necessary cancelled cheques. The person sitting at Kothrud branch checked the forms & ensured me that the bonus amount would be credited in my account within 7 days. As the amount was not credited, I tried to call your Kothrud branch several times but nobody was picking up the phone (!!! ). I finally called up Max Life Tollfree number, where I understood, there are some technical errors in the forms I submitted. I was surprised, when the person sitting in your kothrud office had checked the forms thoroughly, how come there is an error? Moreover, if there was an error, why any person did not call me to rectify? Why Kolhapur branch did not render proper services? Why Kothrud people were NOT RESPONDING THE PHONE? Why the Adviser of the Company who took my policy, did not respond? The Company is unnecessarily using my money for one & half year. Who is responsible? Would the Company pay me an interest on that money? ( Where they are charging late fee on delayed Renewal Premium)?

      I purchased policy no.[protected]dtd. 12/3/2014) of Max Life Insurance in the name of my daughter. Booking Agent : Axis Bank Ltd., Shakti Nagar, Delhi-7. The policy was received on 15/3/2014 & returned for cancellation on 18/3/2014 to the concerning officer at Axis Bank, Shakti Nagar Branch for which I've the acknowledgement receipt. Since then I am pursuing the matter with Max Life Insurance and Axis Bank. Till now, I haven't received my money back nor the reasons for detaining my money. And there is no reply from Max Life Insurance even. I've all the documents with me i.e acknowledgement receipt and the emails/letters sent to Max life Insurance as well as Axis Bank.         For the few days I have been trying to register my name in the customer portal. One suddenly it appeared on the screen that the my name was registered. The advised me to log in. I don't have pass word. Hence I tried retrieve the pass word. Now, there is a display on the screen stating that my e mail/customer id is not in the records. I am perplexed.

            Hello,

            This is to bring to your notice that I have been cheated by max life insurance company in partnership with IC Direct sales Agency from New Delhi.

            Max Life Insurance Company's Executives used to call me and they sold me two insurance policies (Rs.30000 + Rs.25000) with additional benefit commitments, Like Dividend, money back every year and additional medical cover along with insurance. The policy numbers are[protected]for Rs 30, 000) and[protected]for Rs 25000).

            They committed that I will start receiving these benefits with in 45-60 days from day I receive the policy papers. Along with that I will be given 180 days of time to surrender my policy if I am not satisfied with benefits of the policy. I was told that company is offering these benefits to the customers who are buying policies directly from the company, as there will not be involvement of any agent in between so the agent's benefits will be passed to the customers directly.

            But after 60-70 days when I did not receive any kind of benefits offered to me, I called and requested these executives to cancel my policies and refund my money. They confirmed that they have taken my request for cancellation and gave me confirmation code as MLCLGP22/48 and confirmed that process time for cancellation and refund of money will be 25-30 days. On follow-up after 30 days they gave me excuses for delay in the process and said it will take further 15 days for refund. Now they have stopped answering my calls.

            After this I called Max help line and I came to know that there is no additional benefits for my policy neither max has received any request for cancellation of Policy

            I want a strict action to be taken against MAX Life Insurance Company for this fraud. Request you to support me in getting refund of my hard earned money.

            Through this forum I got in touch some other people who also got cheated by Max Life Company in the same way.

            All the other readers please be cautious of Max Life insurance company before thinking to purchase any policy by them.

Sir madam 8 motnts before my policy has been dishonored i contact with yor executive your call center but no one can gave me satisfactory reason that why my policy has been dishonored then my agent call me and told me that my one emi in the year 2011 was not deducted form bank but when i saw my bank pass book in the month of nov 2011 2 emis are deducted from bank on 1/11/2011 & 16/11/2011 and in the month of april my another six emis are deducted rs 2030 has been deducted extra from your company, i am not getting yearly ststement also from yor side,

                  This is regarding the fraud/cheating by MAX LIFE INSURANCE company and their channel partner ’IC DIRECT SALES AGENCY’.I received a call in March 2014 from Ms. Neha Rajput - Mobile Number [protected], stating this call is from accounts department of Max Life Insurance company and to gain the high ranking in the IRDA list, the company is providing the dividend of Rs. 95, 746/- to its new customers for a limited period of time and this benefit for selected persons. Executive assured that whoever takes this Policy paying the premium amount of Rs. 30, 000/- or more will be given a benefit amount of Rs. 95, 746/- in next 40-50 days.They also arranged to collect the required documents and cheque through a local collection officer. They told me that “DO NOT SHARE ANY KIND OF BENEFITS OFFERED TO YOU” during verification calls as they will be from agent department and can object to your process.But after giving this amount of Rs. 30, 000/- as premium for Policy No.[protected] issued on 18th March 2014 and after waiting of more than 4 months I came to know that both Max Life and IC Direct Sales Agency (who are mentioned as an Agent in the policy issued to me) are frauds and cheaters. I was in fact following up with Ms. Neha Rajput and she was giving a different excuse every time. He made me speak to various people in that course so that I shall get convinced.

                  MAX LIFE INSURANCE IC DIRECT SALES AGENCY PVT LTD(New Delhi) NAME OF FPR’s CONTACT NUMBER IC DIRECT SALES AGENCY(479505), 1201, Surya Kiran Building, Kasturaba Gandhi Marg, New Delhi: [protected], [protected], [protected] Sachin Verma, Ravinder Pandey respectively. Further related to this issue I did the complain on Max Life Insurance helpline number. I called and spoke with customer care representative but no use.

                  This is to Request the concerned person to please look into the above issue and help me get my money back (at least initial premium of Rs. 30000/-).

                  Sir I have deposited 11000rs for correspondence course in Hindi medium bt not received the same as on 11/09/2015...after so many communication they aren't replying satisfactory answers.

                  Complaint against missed call

                  Sir / Madam I have been receiving missed call from no[protected] When called back he revives my phone but says nothing. Please do something. I want to know who the person is. And why he/she is giving missed calls unnecessarily.

                    Dear Sirs, I have received call from your direct sales representative on 25/05/2014 that my policy premium of Rs.15000/- which is lying with you for last 5 years and now bonus amount is around 27000/-, but for taking my money back I have to Rs.9561/- which they will refund (27000+9561)=36561/- within one week after getting Rs. 9561/- at your account from following address N-31, Noida, Sector 12, 2nd Floor, Near By Dolly Petrol Pump UP-201 301 from Mr. Ashish Choudhary Mobile No.-[protected] they asked me to send following documents 1 photo Pancard zeox 1 withdrawling amount cheque Rs./9561/- vide cheque No.511072 Date-27.05.2014, United Bank Of India, Dharampeth, Nagpur-440010, 1 cancelled cheque After the cheque was debited from my account I got sms in my mobile vide confirmation no. MX000521C till this date around 45 days have passed i have not received my money back.                       I have a policy with max newyork life insurance, and while opening the policy on 24th May 2011 I asked agent(Rajan kumar Nair - 377980 ) if in future I want to surrender the policy, i sit possible and her told me, there is a locking period of 3 ears and after that you can withdraw the policy anytime.He di not tell me any charges will be deducted. I am urgently in need of money and so, I called up Max life insurance customer care, and they are telling me that I will et 30% of my investment and that too I wont get the money I paid in 1st year. If they want they can deduct th interest, but atleast return the amount I have paid.This is a fraud.

                        This is to bring to your notice that Max Life Insurance surely do not care about your customers, you do not care about their hard earned money which is invested with you on trust. I had raised a complaint for both my policy no[protected] &[protected], on Mis selling of policies to me where the complete information was not conveyed to me at the time of selling the policy (sales target to meet I suppose). I raised a complaint against the same when I actually came to know the real policy terms, maturity after 100 yrs, sounds so stupid let me know which one of you is going to live for hundred years. The person who developed this product shouldnt be in the right state of mind while creating this product. I was given a call almost 10 days back that one of your officers would be having a meeting with me which was scheduled for next day. I constantly waited the next day that some one would call or come to meet me from your company. But just high hopes for Max life you guys just make good advertisements but are zero in real life. I receive a letter today that some Mr Phurba Dorjee Sherpa (I have raised a complaint against him as well, complaint no[protected] who seems to be your companies grievance redressal officer has resolved my grievance . How can you have such employees who are in grievance team who donot even bother to call up the harrased customer. On what basis has he passed a resolution to my grievance. Its high time you start employing and hiring correct people for their respected jobs, your Insurance agent was not trained enough due to which my hard earned money is stuck with your company and wrong information was passed to me regarding the policy, Now when I have grievance one more pops up Mr Sherpa who resolves grievance without even speaking to the customer . What kind of customer care & service is this. I donot need any benefits given by your company, I just require my hard earned money back which I have paid in terms of premium, I will surely go to social media and IRDA if your company feels like joking around with me and my money . I even want Mr Sherpa to answer if he would ever purchase such a dumb policy which was sold to me and would he stay alive for 100 yrs. It seems they all are very well aware about the fraud and are part of it. This is to request the concerned person to please look into the above issue and help me get my hard earned money back(at least the initial premium of 30, 000). This seems to be a really wrong practice by IC Direct Sales Agency and MAX Life for selling the policies to ignorant customers by playing with words and it is going to give the really bad name to MAX Life insurance company.                           As mentioned in my earlier comment your customer care service team called me and said my policy will not be cancelled. However they never gave clarifications on the issues I raised. I replied back to your nodal officer as well but he has not yet replied again. I just want my hard earned money back as soon as possible. Also stop the false practices to sell your policies.

                          Your customer service team contacted me only after I submitted my concern on internet and told me that my policy will not be cancelled. However they never gave any significant resolution to my concerns. I want my money back as soon as possible. Also stop using false practices to sell your policies. Just let me know how soon can you cancel my policy and give my hard earned money back to me.

                          sir, I have recived a frequent calls regarding policy of max life insurance that i have to deposit Rs 20000/- ( one time investment) in favour of "Clubmax"and i will get Rs 675/- per month upto 9 years & cashless medical card of Rs 3 laks Kindly tell me is there any such policy exist or it is a fraud policy?

                              To, The Manager Max Life Insurance Sir, This is with reference to the policy No[protected]. I am writing this letter with great sorrow that I have trusted one of the most reputed brand in life insurance and in turn I have been gifted with wrong commitments & betrayals from your side.I have taken the policy no[protected] Dec2013 on the basis of below commitments from your staff or agent. I have to pay premium of 25000/Year-till 6 Years and in return I will get the following benefits: A. 10% bonus from 3rd year of the policy till the 20th year of the policy (2Lacs 4 thousand) which are mention in policy document as non guaranteed. But your agent make me a big fool he show it will be guaranteed from Max life. B. Final Maturity value of this policy will be 4 Lacs 60 Thousand. in same section of 10% non guaranteed. But your staff make me a big fool, I know the truth when your customer care talk to me about this policy, he told me that the final maturity will be 2 lacs 4 thousand & bonus depend upon company it will be 0 or 1, 2, 3, %, he also admit that your staff who did this policy play cheating with me. I try to solve my issue since 4 month before but all of your employee talk with me like 3rd class company. Before I was not aware all about that. Now I'm going to complained to IRDA+Consumer court.                                 insurance having a direct sales agency called’ IC DIRECT SALES AGENCY’ located
                                at new Delhi . I got a call from same agency on July’13 and offer me MAX Life
                                insurance Gain Plan with health insurance for my entire family.But after paying
                                sum of Rs 15, 000/- for policy no[protected] and wait for 10 months I came to
                                know that Max Life and IC direct are fraud and cheaters. Even they don’t attend
                                my call. They have provided fraud information. MAX LIFE INSURANCE IC DIRECT

                                  This is regarding above mentioned subject and detailed is below, I got your reference from Mr. P Verma, LIC India.

                                  Somebody doing fraud work on behalf of "MAX LIFE INSURANCE", I have given complaint to "MAX LIFE INSURANCE" also.,

                                  The complaint is, Preeti Sachdeva, Raman Bhatia, Palak Sharma, Amit chauhan (contact No.: + 91 [protected] & +[protected] / 1072) doing fraud work from Delhi, they gave me a call on 3rd May 2014 and explained the policy with the name of "MAX LIFE INSURANCE" and they told me to do the document process and they also told me that we will make your bond paper withing 15 days and will dispatch soon, so on trust basis on "M L I" I did the document process and gave the Cheque of Rs. 17, 000 in favor pf "CLUB MAX" (Cheque No. 003163, Name - Kamlesh Patidar, date - 3rd May 2014 Axis bank, Kala Nagar, Mumbai, cheque cleared on 7th May 2014), now they are not giving any proper response, every day I call them but they don't receive the call, if they receive the call then they tell me that we will dispatch the bond paper today evening, same thing they are telling me since last 30 days, still I didn't get any bond paper or official document from them, so I felt that they are not MAX LIFE INSURANCE, I called to "M L I" also and explained the situation so "M L I" told me that this type of information is not related to us somebody doing fraud work with you, so definitely they are fraud people, so please help me to get my money back and keep out this fraud things from India, because they are doing fraud work with the name of "M L I"

                                  Please find the attached acknowledgment receipt given by the form collecting guy

                                  You can contact the fraud persons on above mentioned numbers and confirm whether they are really doing policies for "M L I" or doing fraud work and keep my email as on priority because it harm for "M L I" and for me also

                                  Even I got a call today. And I was going to pay money for it. THANK YOU again.
                                  If "MAX LIFE INSURANCE" is not taking any action against it that means they also involved in it,

                                  They should take serious action because fraud work is on their name only and still "MLI" at home, I need help from "MLI"
                                  Today One guy called Amit Saxena called me up and told me to Pay Rs.30, 000/- one time payment. He said that I will be getting Rs.900 every month for next 9 years as pension, after 12 months and he wanted me to make payment to him by way of cheque. He also said that There is Health Insurance coverage to the extent of Rs.5, 00, 000/- I have also sent to him my Photo and Pan card copy thru Whatsup.
                                  His Number given is +91 [protected]. Please confirm back whether this is genuine or it is a fraud.

                                  Please do not pay. This guy is a fraud. I have lost 45, 000.00 as I bought 3 policies under similar circumstances and am still waiting to get documents. No reply from Amit or his team. No one picks up telephone. If you or anyone is offerend any policies, make sure it is original form to be filled up and also check with the insurance company prior to making payment. Once payment is made, your money is gone. I am trying to put up a case with the police. Not sure if they will atall look into the case. But we need to stop this guy...

                                  They will be calling me in a day or two as I told them to.

                                  I too got a call on 14th Oct (a day before elections in Maharashtra) from a girl named Kanika Sharma. She said that she was calling from the New Delhi head office of Max Life Insurance. She came up with this plan wherein i had to make a one time payment of 20, 000 & after 5 years i will be getting an assured amount of 40, 450 (Tax free). Also this payment of 20k can be considered under 80C to save tax. Plan name was 'Guaranteed Return Investment Plan'. The benefits don't end here. Along with this i get a Life insurance of 4L for 5years + family medical cover of 2L for 5years which will include cashless treatment where hospitalization is not compulsory. Plus i get a lifetime membership from Max Club. She gave me 2 options:
                                  1. Plan without membership wherein cheque payment of 20k will be in the name of Max Life Insurance.
                                  2. Plan with membership that has 3 more benefits wherein cheque payment of 20k will be in the name of Max Club.
                                  2.1. 1st benefit is a commission of 20% !!!
                                  2.2. 2nd benefit is that my Life insurance will get extended for 100 years.
                                  2.3. 3rd benefit is that my family medical cover will get extended for 100 years too !!!

                                  I told her that i had been cheated earlier & hence i wont invest unless you send me a mail or tell where can i find more details about this plan. To this she replied that "Sir, it is a limited 1 day offer for limited customers. It is not a standard plan & hence details aren't available in writing or on the website." I was too skeptical about this plan but the lady sounded so professional & convincing that i fell for it. I confirmed that i was interested. She told me that there will be a free look period of 15 days during which i can cancel the plan & get my entire amount back. She gave me a couple of other numbers where i could call for assistance. She assured me that this is a genuine Max Life Insurance product & that there is no involvement of any agent & hence safe. All the agent benefits would be given to the customer.

                                  She told me that i will be getting a confirmation call next day morning i.e.15th Oct & product details will be explained & verified once again so that you are satisfied. I got a call in the morning from a guy named Amit Singhania. He spoke to me for a while, explained the exact same things that Kanika had said. I told him too that i doubt the authenticity of this plan to which he again told me about the free look period of 15 days. I again fell for it. It then struck to my mind that it makes no sense for anybody to go for this plan 'without' membership as it has no benefits that i get with membership. So obviously everyone will go with membership & hence make payment to Max Club instead of Max Life Insurance. I tried searching about Max Club on the net but couldn't find anything helpful. I then called up Max Life Insurance customer care number but the office was closed because of elections. I had a feeling that something was wrong. So i delayed her calls for a while. Went home after voting & again checked the net. The document collection boy was about to reach my residence (which was wrong address given by me as i was already doubting the plan :P) to collect the cheque & documents & so i had very less time to do a last check. Fortunately i found many blogs where exact cases were mentioned & claimed to be frauds. Names of Kanika Sharma & Amit Singhania were also found in such complaints. Also their numbers were found but with different names. None of the complainants had received the policy bond or money. Infact no one had answered their calls. Then came Kanika's call & i confronted her. She got furious & nervous & disconnected the call. Even the document collection guy didn't call. Thank God & thanks to all you people who shared their experiences on the internet, otherwise i would have been a victim too.

                                  Note: Always ask to provide policy details in writing. Either in the form of a brochure or on email. Check the ID of the person who is contacting you personally. If possible take a picture because even employee of insurance companies do such stuff. Friends & relatives of mine have been victims earlier. Invest safely.

                                        Dear all Before surrendering this policy[protected] i verified in your customer care and after knowing fund value and necessary documents required for surrendering the policy i went to the branch and given all documents and ecs cheque for surrender. The operation department has got all from me and given me the acknowledgement also...and intimated me that it takes 10 days to reback my money.( happened on 3/3/2014). 2) Today 8th day i called up the customer care and asked the status of my policy, they said it is declined and i have not paid 2 ATP`s. I was very much upset because in this pension plan there is nothing mentioned in surrender have to pay 2 ATP`S. More over this is unit liked plan with 0 DB. 3) Why your operation people in branch not intimated this on the time of surrender, same to customer service . The IRDA has clearly said in unit linked plan if the policy cross the 3rd year, it should be accepted for surrender ( there are some plans differ for 5 years surrender) But my policy documents said 3rd, 4th and 5th year we can surrender. 10 to 30% surrender charges as applicable as per surrender year. How can a life insurance company can reject the unit linked plan ...that too a pension plan just like this, i want clear explanation and surrender the policy.

                                        My complaint has been reached and got a mail from max life insurance, saying that this policy can not be refund unless paying 32000 rupees.Because they are saying i have not paid 2 ATP but i have paid 1 year and 11 months premium till now, As per their rules if any i have to pay just one month premium to complete 2 ATP, But MAX LIFE asking me to pay till date premium 32000 to surrender. So i had forwarded the complaint to IRDA too, let me wait.

                                        Max life is telling me to pay till date premium 32500 rupees to surrender but


                                        As per MAX LIFE concern and rules 2 ATP has to be paid in the time of surrender. If it is so i have paid one year and eleven months premium so i have to have just one more month to finish 2 ATP.
                                        But you are telling me to up to date premium. There is no logic and you also lapsed my policy after my first surrender attempt. This is 0 DB policy and ulip so how can you lapsed my policy. Nothing bonus or gurantee beneifts you are going to give it in this policy apart from my fund value. I would like to pay just one more months premium and i want to surrender.
