    I have a maxlife policy "stepping stones" a 11th year term done on 3/07/2006. which is inactive from 2014 when i wish to run this policy after auto call frm company, , asked me to send health declaration signed form and outstanding premium even i paid all requirement.. but one by one requirements demanding is continued by the insurance company..and i had to get a maney back on 30/07/2015 .yet i didn"t get it. what will i do???????????????????

      I have remitted on 3rd july 2015 through indian overseas bank rs. 12500 towards half yearly premium on my policy no.[protected] in the name of vimala m sundaram from my savings account no. 32372 with matunga branch, mumbai - reference number - bild - maxlife o 150703 - [protected]@905608. My account with maxlife insurance company is not credited and receipt for premium paid not received. If the remittance is not received by maxlife it should have been credited in my savings account by now. Please check and confirm immediately.

              My Name is Kishore and am from Hyderabad. I have a policy with max life insurance which was taken in May 2012 in and the policy number is[protected] .The complaint on them is I had paid 3 years premium of 297250 i.e 97000(plus tax) per annum for 3 years. the lock in period is 3 years, after the locking period i contacted them over email for my fund surrender and they replied me that the cash surrender value is 157, 175.15 only.
              I am shocked to see such low amount and on the first day when i was taking the policy they have not told me about the loss of amount if i withdraw any time after 3 years of locking period.Even they have not mentioned anywhere in the bond they given to me.I am feeling like cheated by them and now i am in a position that i can not continue paying 1 Lakh amount every year as it is getting burden on me and not able to with draw my policy as losing almost 50% in 3 years.Need some help on this.

              My name is Murali Krishna. I have taken a Max Life Insurance policy in my wife's name Hema Lata in the year 2012 through Axis bank. every year an amount of Rs.32, 718/- is deducting from my wife's Axis Bank account. From the 3rd year onwards, my wife supposed to get bonus. the policy premium amount is deducted in the month of august every year, but now this is October, but bonus is not credited. since premium is paid through ECS mode, I hope to get the bonus also through ECS mode in the same account. till date bonus not received. policy no.[protected]. pl. do the needful.

                I had purchased one insurance plan of Max Life Insurance before two year ago. From initial time i payed installment by online/cheque. Last time without informing me or without any confirmation with me company started auto debit installment from my account. Due to some reason i don't have enough balance in my account bank charged me auto debit bounce charges to me.

                I contact the company regarding this case so they just stop the auto debit service nothing else. I asked them, who is responsible for this bank charges? Refund me money but nothing from them. Still waiting for the reply of company.

                  Hi, I am a policy holder with Max Life Insurance Company since yr 2005 and it's "Whole Life Participating Plan". My Annual Premium is around Rs. 11, 000 which is paid in 2 terms (Half Yearly). This is my 10th year I am paying my premium. When I inquired about the procedure to surrender my policy, they said that it's only 30% of my Premium Paid Amount ie. around Rs. 56, 000. In simple words, I'll be losing 50% of my Premiums Paid. I don't know on what basis, Maxlife can take 70% of my money into their pocket. The customer care executives also repeat the same answer what they see on their system(s). As per law, after Locking Perios, I should be getting at least my Premium Paid Amount (if not bonus) but they are excluding the first year's premium and also assuring only 30% of my paid amount. If I had paid my Income Tax I'd have ateleast saved Rs.90, 000 in my taxable income. So, I have consulted my lawer and working on to file RTI petition and also to reach out to RBI to get justification on this issue. Thanks Bala

                  Even I am facing the same issue, I paid 3, 00, 000 Rs in 3 years and when I am asking for the surrender amount 1st time they said 1, 57, 000 is the value, but now they are saying it will be 37, 000 only..Please let me know if your issue is resolved.

                    I had bought a policy from Max New York Life on the 28th Feb. 2007. The same policy was surrendered by me on the 30 th may 2014. Till date the company has not refunded the money. 1. For selling the policy the agent would call everyday and make earnest request to sell the policy. 2. For surrendering the policy the agent was nowhere to be found, and the call centre gave different negative views about the policy we are holding. I . e the policy is not in force and there will be no refund. 3. After much inquiry we reached a dungeon on the 3rd or 4th floor where 50 people were persuading on the phone, trying to sell policies. I forgot to mention the office had to be reached by stairs as the lift installed was from the bygone era and seemed to have never worked. 4. When I asked the receptionist why do we have to come to surrender the policy? why can’t take the surrender of the policy on phone or on the net she said we don’t make any money on the surrender. She promised that my refund would take 20 days time. 5. I have made number of inquiries on the call centre with only false promise that the money will be refunded soon. 6.                       Dear Sir, I had surrendered my policy number[protected] on May 6, 2015 at 12.00 PM. Please find attached the acknowledgement slip for the same.Declared NAV value was 43.50 the day I surrendered and it was before 3.00 PM as per your policy but the total amount that I have received is Rs.11, 89, 506.41 instead of Rs.12, 15, 060.88. Why did you do that? This is a fraud that you are doing to the customers. I even got the printout of the total fund value from your Noida store and I was assured that 12, 15, 060.88 was the amount that I would receive but you people cut it down by Rs.25, 554.47. I want my balance money immediately which I rightly deserve or I would be filing a case with the consumer court. This is very nonprofessional from your side and for such a reputed Company.                       This is a fraud and lying company.I received a call from their head office today saying that their staff had tried to convince me to not surrender the policy and the NAV of 43.50 was not conveyed to me. All lies. Whereas I was given a printout of my Fund value by their customer service guy. The person from the head office says that the amount that they have given me is full and final and I will not get anything else. When I said that I will go to the consumer court he says do as you wish. Wow.
                      I surrendered my policy on the 6th of May when the Stock market was falling. Had the customer care guy told me that that day's NAV would apply, I wouldn't have surrendered it and would have waited for the market to recover a little bit (I had a Growth Fund Driven policy). My premium was quarterly and the next premium would have been due only in end of July so I had 2 months time.
                      They are all fraud and I would be filing the case with Consumer Court against Max Life Insurance. I had planned to invest in their other policies for my wife and daughter with less premium option but I would say I was saved by these crooks for a very small amount. Thank you Cheaters/Liars/Fakes, etc.

                      Here is the mail sent to your customer care representative:

                      Dear Sir,

                      I had called your customer care many times (You can check the service requests) and I asked them a simple question:

                      " If I surrender my policy today, what days NAV will be applied to the surrendered policy" I was told declared NAV value.

                      I asked them again that if I surrender my policy on say May 6th, what day's NAV will be applied to my policy, I was told "Sir, 5th". Please check the recordings you may be having.

                      Now, when I went to surrender my policy, Your customer care person did not try to convince me (It would't have made a difference anyways). He asked me why I wanted to surrender and I told him that I needed funds to buy a property and it would be difficult for me to pay pay the premium as well as the EMI for the loan I would be taking. I asked him what is the total value of my policy and he went to the system and got a print out of my fund value which he gave me. That clearly showed NAV of 43.50. He did not tell me that it would not be the value of my surrendered policy.

                      Now, some logic.. Share market was in a bad shape that day. It was falling. After confirming again and again with your customer care what days NAV would be applied to the policy when I surrender, I went in. Any sane person who would have been told that the end of same day's NAV would be applied, wouldn't have gone to surrender the policy when it's market linked. I had almost two months for my premium due. I would have waited for the market to recover little bit if I was told that same days NAV would apply, but I was misguided by the professionals you hire.

                      The person who called me today from your head office does not want to believe a customer but believe your staff. When I told him I would file a case withe the Consumer Court he is telling me "Sir, It is your wish". Fair enough. You must be having a CCTV footage of your office where I surrendered the policy. You can check whatever I have said is true or not. Infact when i called your customer care to ask why my 25, 000 were deducted, the person on the other side is telling me, "SIR, Surrender CHARGES, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, etc. Check the recording sir. After correcting him and waiting for 25-30 minutes he comes up with other excused. When I asked him to speak to his senior, he says he is on call. What Nonsense.

                      Your customer care is not properly trained and misguide customers. God bless you all. And thank you for saving me even more money as I was supposed to invest with you guys for more policies with lesser premiums for my daughter and wife. I can now imagine the trouble you must have given us in the future if I continued with you.

                      How is it possible to approve fraud policies without any help from Govt even IRDA is also involve in this as they are getting millions by fooling people and they just don't care for common people.

                      This is totally fraud company, Just makes fool to the innocent and uneducated people. No body informs about the dangerous terms and conditions before the start of policy. As my mother has deposited near about 60, 000rs in three years. Now because of bad financial conditions we can't give more money. we want to surrender but Now Axis Bank near maqsudan Jalandhar punjab through which my mother purchased this policy saying that we will get only 3500rs. This is totally making fool I'm going to newspaper office and will tell story of my mother to everyone and will aware my all Indian citizens about the fraud max life insurance and axis bank. I will also going to consumer court.

                        I have invested rs 25000/- per annuam from two years for suggesting your agent . he had commited that any time you took your money from company but now he refused me to give any one money i.e. he is not giving me only a single rupee due to say that company term and condition but he had commited me firstly when policy issued said that amytime you took money from co.                         No body will going to help as IRDA Govt is involved in selling fraud policies to Common man as lots of money is going into their pockets.Only way is get all persons who has complaints against MAX and start a Dharna in front of MAX Office and slap everybody those are working there

                          Dear sir my self vijay kumar singh taken a on line term policy application No[protected] on dated 12/04/15.at the time of online form submission i choose the medical check up date was 19/04/15 but now till date (22/04/15) no medical check up is arrange by the coustmer service center

Okhla, New Delhi-11020 Sub: Claim of Maturity of Investment matured on Dec’14 Sir, I, Rashbehari Guchhait is trying to take your attention, that I have invested in a Policy named “STEPPING STONES WITH PARTICIPATING INSURANCE” vide No[protected], dated 02nd day of Dec’2003 which have already matured on 02nd day of Dec’2014 at your “CONTAI” branch, but still now after several efforts I have not received maturity value. Sir, On maturity of the policy I have submitted Original Policy Copy along with an Affidavit against dispute in spelling of name and other documents (i.e PAN, Voter Card & PNB Cancel Cheque) at your GTMS Office, Contai Branch as per direction of your posted officer. But Sir, after about four months also I have not got any result & as I live in Durgapur, I went to your Durgapur branch for the same and they advised me to make a Notary deed of lost policy and to submit all documents along with a new cancel cheque to them as earlier I have done in GTMS Office. I did so on dated 23rd day of March’2015. Now I have came to know from Durgapur Branch office that maturity amount has been credited to my account on 29th March’2015, but sir, I have not received any amount on behalf of same till today (08.04.15). I have also informed that to your Durgapur Branch office by showing them my updated pass book. So, I want you to kindly look on this matter and do the needful so that I can have my invested value with all interest up to till date as soon as possible.                                   A proposal form (enclosed as annexure-I) for the above referred policy was filled on[protected] in front of Max life insurance agent Smt. Abha Bhujle, agent code-129394. On the same day SBI cheque no. 461139 dated[protected] for `10, 000/- was issued to the agent as initial payment and in turn the initial payment collection receipt was issued to me by your agent (enclosed as annexure-II). This cheque has come to State bank of India (09484) NPCC, Kaiga for clearance on[protected] and an amount of `10, 000/- has been debited from my account and credited to Max New York life company (refer bank statement annexure-III). After this crediting the amount of Rs 10000 in your company account I have received insurance premium receipt no.[protected]/2006-07/01 dated[protected]refer annexure-IV) subsequently I was regularly paying premium for the year 2007-08, 2008-09, 2009-10, 2010-11, and 2011-12 and the respective receipt no. 2007-08/01, 2008-09/01, 2009-10/01, 2010-11/01, 2011-12/01 have been issued by M/s. Max life insurance company (refer annexure-V) and everything was going smooth till then. On July 16, 2012 I have received a letter from Max life insurance company for reinstatement of policy and returning of `154/- as an un allotted amount (refer annexure-VI). There is no question of re-instate of policy since this was not lapsed by me . Then why I have to re-instate with additional amount. Please note that since the issue has not been resolved by you I have not paid premium for the year 2012-13 and 2013-14. I was all of a sudden shocked to read this news and immediately e-mailed my complaint to “service [protected]@maxlifeinsurance.com for clarification on[protected]annexure-VII). For this complaint, I got clarification from help desk by e-mail on[protected]refer annexure-VII). I was shocked to see the premium payment total amount received by Max new life insurance company was `50, 205.95/- instead of `60, 154/- . Then I went through the details of the statement and found that in the details it was mentioned that the cheque no. 461139 for `10, 000/- issued during initial payment on[protected] is bounced on[protected] that is after almost 5 months. Further it was interesting to see that Max life insurance has received back the same cheque no. 461139 again on[protected] and the cheque is again bounced on[protected] after almost 4 and ½ years. It did not understood to me that if the cheque is bounced on[protected] then who has issued the same cheque again to Max life insurance company on[protected]. You are requested to explain the hidden mystery of this statement. It is still more interesting to know that the same cheque is bounced again on[protected] as per your statement. Is the cheque valid for 4 and ½ years ?. Your this statement is totally contradictory and leads to the harassment of a bonified customer. I have given justification for the same via so many E-mail from last 2 yers. Further your customer care requested me to send the bank statement to see whether the amount is credited to Max life insurance company . This statement was sent to Max life insurance company (refer annexure-III). Even after this bank statement Max life insurance company was not ready to accept the mistake but insisted me again to send Bank acknowledged receipt. With great difficulty after pursuing with the SBI, Kaiga branch I have sent you the acknowledgement receipt also (refer annexure-VIII). Even after receiving the acknowledgement receipt of SBI Bank you have informed me in writing that the cheque has not been received by M/s max life insurance. In these circumstances after going through all the above details and collecting all the evidence(enclosed) the undersigned has decided to do the following. 1. You are requested to amicably resolve this issue immedietly . 2. Interest for `10, 000/- from[protected], the amount which you are claiming not received but the bank statement and acknowledgement slip issued by SBI bank, NPCC Kaiga clearly indicates the amount has been credited to Max new life insurance company on[protected]. 3. Compensation for physical, mental torture done to me harassing for `10, 000/- in which there is no fault from my side, from almost last 3years. 4. All the documents and evidences required to investigate and mentioned above as Annexures are already E-mailed to you earlier. 5. You are requested to resolve the issue and issue my policy statement from Sep. 2006 to as on date. 6. I have sent you back the cheque of `154/- which you have sent me as un-allotted amount through Indian speed post (refer annexure IX) for re-issue since the date of the cheque was expired. But till date I have not received the revised cheque from M/s. Max life insurance Company. You are requested to re issue revised cheque for Rs 154.00 to me immedietly. But I feel the problem has not been resolved yet even after two weeks. Please issue my account statement including this amount received by you and guide me how to proceed further to reinstate this policy.
