Airtel's have very Poor and BAD customer service at Present in UPW.

I had recharged my Airtel number ([protected]) at Fri, Jan 18, 2013 at 8:50 PM from Airtel website for 22 INR.. To get Rs. 22 All STD [protected]@30p/min … as Mentioned on Airtel website…

Kindly Note: there is not anything mentioned about timing limitation on that category 22 Rs Recharge.. There was only Written: Rs. 22 All STD [protected]@30p/min.. While they have mentioned timing terms on 16 INR recharge as: - All Local & STD Mobile Calls - 30p/min (10PM-5PM), between 5PM-10PM as per Base Plan.

After I have conversation with their customer support they said if you want 24 hours working plan for std you can go with 12 INR Topup… this will work 24 hours no any time limitations : -

I have recharged again on: Sat, Jan 19, 2013 at 4:20 PM.. RS 12 - All STD Rs1/3min.Other calls as per tariff…

But the same thing happening again with me on evening 5 to 10 PM if I make any STD calls for 14:30 Minute.. There 11 INR deducted from my main balance…

Also Their customer support team not responding well on this issue.. They always said that sorry sir at present time there is Technical updating on our site so kindly call us after 1 hour…

I Just want to know that this is the AIRTEL the brand WINs the best “Telecom Company AWARD”… what rubbish!

I hope I will get solution on this issue soon… My main concern is this that, my mostly callings are STD... So I want a STD plan which will work for 24 hours.. No any time limitations…

Airtel — AIRTEL'S EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

This is to put on record my utter disappointment with the service of Airtel broadband customer care team. From the facts stated below, you will understand that the customer executives have been continuously lying and deceiving me:



I have been a user of the landline number[protected] and broadband since August 2004 and I hold an excellent record for prompt payment of my bills. In December 2008 I had to leave the country for a few months on work and I had requested for cancellation of the aforesaid line.



I returned India on May 30, 2009 and I immediately placed a request for re-activation/reconnection of the aforesaid line by calling the customer care number 4444121 and my request for re-activation of the line 4214 2887 was taken by Mr. Harish and given a reference number 20373010 on May 30, 2009. I was informed by him that the line will be restored before 11:30 am on June 8, 2009. He assured me that the date given is the maximum time they would take to restore the line but they would be restoring the line much before that.



However, no one visited my residence or even made any call regarding the restoration of the line and nothing was done by June 8, 2009. Therefore, I made a call to the customer care number on June 9, 2009 and complained to Ms. Bharathi, who apologized for the delay and took a fresh complaint and gave a new reference number 20703734 and promised me that the line would be restored maximum by June 11, 2009. I called the customer care on June 10, 2009 and spoke to Mr. Sampath just to reconfirm that they had all my contact details and that they would restore the line at least the next day. He confirmed that the line will be restored the next day and I believed him.



However, the line was not restored by June 11, 2009 as promised and I felt completely cheated. By evening I received a call from Mr. Basha from the customer care department apologizing for the delay and he transferred the call to Mr. Jeshan in the back end office, who promised me that the line would be restored by Saturday June 13, 2009. On June 11, 2009 an executive from Airtel visited my residence but instead of restoring the line he took my signatures on a subscriber enrollment form and promised me that the line would be restored the following day or latest by Monday June 15, 2009. However, once again I was deceived and lied to because the line was not restored as promised.



I called the customer care line on June 15, 2009 and complained to Mr. Srikanth, who transferred the call to Ms. Genova, who apologized to me for the delay and took a fresh request 26548865 and assured me that the line would be restored within 4 hours. But once again it proved to be a lie. Nothing happened in the next 4 hours and I called the customer care number again and this time I spoke to Mr. Daniel, who after consulting his superior Mr. Blessing, assured me that the line would be restored within next 24 hours.



After 24 hours, when the line was still not restored, I called the customer care number and spoke to Mr. Maniraj and thereafter to Mr. Srirangam who apologized, and took a fresh request 20801778 and promised me that the line will be restored as soon as possible. I once again called on June 17, 2009 and complained to Mr. Robert about how irritated and cheated I felt by the action of the Airtel executives.



Today i.e. June 18, 2009 I called customer care again and spoke to Ms. Aysha, who said my request has been closed without giving any reasons.



I am utterly shocked, disappointed, cheated and extremely irritated by Airtel’s service. I used to have great trust in the brand Airtel especially because I’ve been a user of their services for 4 years. But all that has been shattered now. Now according to me Airtel’s service has the lousiest service. I am going to dissuade people from choosing Airtel, which had become worse than the public sector service providers.

AirTel — bad customer support

I just want the Airtel higher ups to know that inspite of me calling several times on one issue, the problem is still not fixed. And everytime the CSR's try explaining me that its a problem from my end..
there i a STD number from Gorakhpur(vodafone) which i am nt able to call from my airtel number.. in the mean time i am able to call the same number using aircel, vodafone & idea connections.
I have contacted the Airtel customer support number of times but still the problem is not fixed.. i just want to know whether you people can fix it or u r not technologically equipped to get it fixed.

I[censored] say that u dont know how to get it fixed i have no problem but please dont give all the Gyan to me and try to fool me because o[censored]r incompetence. Thanks

AirTel — Bad-customer service

Hi,

Today I was trying to make online payment for my Airtel Fixedline while talking to the Airtel Customer Service rep who was helping. After I submitted my debit card infoemation there was an error so the rep transferred my call to the technical dept. for help however they kept me on hold for 10 mins and hung up. So i claled up the technicla dept. directly and they were helping me to make the payment online and again the same error occured once i submitted all the info of my Debit card so the technical dept. again kept me on hold and hung p after 5-6 mins. So the 3rd time I login to the airtel website and tried to make the payment and it was successful. After sometime when I checked my citibank account all the three transaction were successful. SO I called the complaint number for Airtel however they told me that they will not refund the 2 unathorized transaction and will adjust it for the furtute usage of the service and also denied to trnsfer the call to any supervisor.
Never expected such a bad service from Airtel.
Everytime you called them they will disconnect the call and it takes a long time to get conncted to them.

Please help.

I have received a call from Airtel however the reprsentative did not give me any resolution . She just asked me if i have filed any consumer complaint for m, y mobile number and I said that it was not for my Mobile number but for my Airtel Fixedline.

I have not received my refund for my 2 unauthorized charged.
I have also contacted citibank and they said that Airtel needs to refund me as the transaction was made from Airtel website.
