    Dear sir/madam,

Mira bhayandar road is become a hub for used and new car market all along the mira bhayandar road,

Wish to draw attention on the space for bus stop which is being used by the immediate behind and near by motor mechanic shops.

This creates lots of inconvenience and safety issues as many commuters are facing problem as bus are not able to stop at the designated stop and stops around 10 - 15 mtr away from the bus stop. This becomes difficult for all the commuters of bus to board the bus, especially this is a serious problem for senior citizens, specially abled persons and ladies commuters. Also this distance of 10-15 mtr gives way for smaller vehicles during boarding and some irresponsible vehicle driver are a threat for safety for waiting commuters and also commuters trying to board their respective busses.

I urge the respective department to give special instructions or enforce some strict law to avoid parking in this area and help in safe travel of bus commuters.

Daily akurli road in kandivali east faces terrible traffic situation. It takes over 1 hour to cross 1 km distance.

Akurli road is the only road for all residents of lokhandwala township to reach kandivali station and western express highway. There is no alternate road.

Auto rikshaws drive on wrong side of the road, bikes and vehicles taking u-turn from divider gaps block both side of the roads, mcgm digging has made the road narrow. No traffic police to regulate the traffic situation.

Please appoint permanent traffic policeman near mahindra gate to regulate traffic.

In the past volunteers from the colony have shown that by preventing wrong side driving and u-turns from gaps the situation can be much improved even during peak time traffic at that time it used to take 10-15 mins to cross this road now it takes 1 hour minimum.

Traffic police is required there everyday or else construct full divider allowing no u-turns or wrong side driving for the entire stretch of the road.

        Hi.
I hope i am writing at a right place.
Its been many days i find local police constables standing in any corner in our locality and stopping people for not wearing helmet.
I have several queries on this.
I have a car so dont face this problem but there are many instances where i need to ride a bike to travel locally.
Ive read several news articles where its mentioned that a traffic police constable or other constables cannot ask to display insurance papers, puc and other papers.
Now ive seen that this constables who stands alone in any corner doesnt issue any challan just threaten people to take to the police station and charge them for several things.
Now is it allowed for any police constable to stand and catch the bikers on local roads where there are no signals and no traffic flow?
Can they charge on the local roads for not carrying a helmet?
I remember i had a conversation with a friend of mine who is a police officer himself, he stated that there should be a senior officer if the constable is charging u more then rs.100 and also constables cannot issue the fine reciept. Is it true?
I also wanted to clear many things.
        1) is there any dedicated boundary till where a localite can travel without a helmet?
        2) does a single constable without any senior has any right to investigate or charge people not wearing helmets?
        3) can a constable issue fines and issue a receipt on his own where at the end of the reciept a signature of a senior officer is required?
        4) are there different charges for not wearing helmet if caught by a traffic police or other police constables?
Many people are not aware and so end up having an argument.
It would be a great help if i get this information from an educated officer.
I hope i am reaching the right place.
        Thank you.

This is a near miss incident case.
On my way back to home from kanjurmarg east via eastern express highway. After left turn from signal on highway, where flyover bridge ends on thane side. This area comes under vikhroli traffic police. Car no. Mh03z8418, came down from bridge and took left turn for service road which is actually not advisable and against traffic rules. Car was following other car on same road. Though its indicators were showing left turn, it overtook car from left n drove left. I was at speed of 45-50, n suddenly i saw that, i blown horns, driver ignored. After travelled some distance, i stopped that car and asked questions about his wrong method of driving.in spite of feeling sorry, he cursed me in bad language saying can't u see the indicators, are your eyes f.. Led?
It was the young driver with family at the back, and they also didn't bother about the happening.
Please do something n take necessary actions on such drivers who doesn't care of other lives.
Hope traffic police will look into this matter and close that entry point to service road from flyover bridge wherever seen and rules are violated.

            Thanks

                  Hi,

I am writing with regard to daily red signal breaking of traffic signal on lal bahadur shashtri marg in vikhroli west. Between godrej colony and r city mall there is a road which connect to powai (Hiranandani link road). Everyday morning, i take the road to my office and i observe that most of the vehicles (Specially auto rickshaw) keep breaking the red signal to turn right toward powai. Many times vehicles break the signal if they dont see any traffic from the other side and dont want to wait for their signal to turn green. But in other case vehicles (Auto rickshaws again) break signal despite traffic on the opposite side because they know there is no traffic police to monitor them, thus risking accidents.

My suggestion is that one traffic policeperson can be deployed for few days so that the regular commuters stop the behaviour and the timing of traffic signal can be adjusted to ensure optimal waiting time. However i would leave it to the experts at your end.

Request you to look into the issue and provide resolution for the same.

                  Regards

I (Nehal agarwal) was travelling from andheri to goregaon. At andheri bridge signal the police officer stopped me for lane cutting on service road. I told him that i did not do anything wrong which he agreed later. 1 lady police officer took the photo of my cars number plate and told me (Aap achhese baat nahi karte, aapko challan lagega). Within 30 min i got 2 fines (Mtpchm[protected]) dated 31/07/2017 fir rs.400.
This fines should not be imposed. Please see into the matter and take necessary actions

Your constable at western express highway and 90 ft road junction at thakur complex/ thakur village, kandivali east was using foul language and was very laud and his behaviour was almost like road side criminal. His name is mr. Santosh nijai. I think you are having so much of power that there is no scope for argument or quarrel. Its very important to set an example by becoming good police.

Here i would like to complain about the wrong towing of my bike suzuki access from in front of joseph baptista garden at byculla on 28 july 2017 in between 6 and 7 pm.
My bike (Mh 09 bz 0866) was parked at a spot in front of the baptista garden where i go for jogging since last 3 years. I have been parking my bike in the same spot for the last three years now when ingo for jogging in the garden almost everyday.
There is absolutely "no sign board" denoting that this area was a no parking and my bike was towed from such an area. My bike was in no way an impediment to the normal flow of traffic. Just saying, that part of the road is one of the least traffic areas in mumbai. Plus my bike was in no way obstructing the flow of traffic.
If there are no sign boards, how are we supposed to know that we should not park our vehicles at that spot. This is absolute anarchy. I had to waste my ₹436/- for absolutely no fault of mine for any kind.
The towing process is less for ensuring a smooth flow of traffic and more for filling the pockets of mtp.
What i have seen is these private contractors for towing work on phone calls of private citizens who want to park their cars in thaf spot. They just make a call and the towing vehicle is there in a matter of 5 minutes. This is modern india at its worst. Is this how we are supposed to be a superpower?

Attaching photo of the spot from where my bike was towed. I request you to go and check at the spot if there are any no parking signboards present there. Also note, the cars which are now suddenly parked from the spot where my bike was towed. These people apparently have setting with the towing guys.

Surprised to see the e-challan against my car reg number. We are not aware of the incident and request the traffic police to give us more details regarding the nature of the issue and place of the incident. The matter did not come on the mobile and it completely surprised us when we just open the website today.
We have paid the fine under strong objection and would like to know the entire detail under which the fine was charged to us.

On the signal of S.v.road i was riding woth helmet on and at a decent speed of 10-12kmph that time nilesh bhaidkar caught me and charged a false fine of ₹200. He didn't haerd my statement that I didn't attempt to breaking the traffic rules and i either did that.I request you to look into my case.
An additional lane is open on the north bound lane in the morning for south bound traffic and vice versa in the evening leading to huge bottle neck at both entry and exit points. Instead of proving respite, this leads to chaos and there is no net impact on the traffic. In fact the traffic on the opposite side is also impacted by this approach.

This is to kindly request for immediate and prompt actions for parking issue faced on daily basis.
My office is located at yash kamal buiding, nr kala ghod circle, sayajigunj and i face major parking trouble on daily basis as all 4 wheeler vehicle are parked with just no trfaffic/parking sense.
All the cars parked in official parking lane as permitted officially are obstructed by cars parked just behind the car and not allowing to drive car from parking.

It is been observed certain cars owners intionally park the car to obstruct other car, not allowing to drive the car till the car in non parking area is moved.

This is very serious issue and i am facing trouble regulary since past 60 days and more.

I have made several complaing to traffic police help line / compaint no but the response is very disappointing.

First, the help is not extended inspite of several calls and requests.
In case the help is available, we get a reply that we cannot move the vehicle as car towing vehicles are not available and it is just not possible to identify vehcle owner in such huge commercial area.

I have experinced incidents where i have to wait for 2-4 hrs to move my car.

Also at time i have to travel by auto or other mode of transport inspite of my own vehicle available.

Most strange to note is no action is take against such car owners/ vehicle for not obeying traffic rules and parking

                                    The traffic signal at mithchowki.

The signal from laljipada towards goregaon changes in only 45 seconds, thereby leaving a huge trafffic jam during morning peak hours.

Whereas, the signal, i. E the trafffic coming from marve towards malad station is too long i. E it changes almost after 150 seconds.

This is purely bad signal management.

You should keep the signal changinf after 90 seconds at both signals or keep a traffic police to manually change the signals depending on the traffic

Trust the traffic cop will be more vigilant to traffic jams during peak morning hours where everyone is in a hurry to reach office on time

                                    Regards

I had parked my car dd 03 j 921 at m. K. Marg near kala niketan bus stop parallel to railway line on 18/07/2017 at 10 a. M.. I use to park there only daily when comes to office. Car was behand bus stop yellow box line. At 6 pm when i was returning for home, i found that my car was not there hence i enquired with constable at junction. As he suggested, i went to ocs chowky at the end of fashion street and found that car was there. I argued on counter and was told that i have to pay 672/- if car is to be taken hence i paid forcibly and taken my car.
Sir, i want to inform you that the car was well far from bus stand and there were no marking for towing on spot.
I feel that this is the clearly harrasment to public when vehicle is parked safely at right place. My cell no is [protected]
