Sir/Madam,
This is to bring to your notice the shabby state of affairs and possible area of trouble due to non-lighting/unavailability of proper street lighting in Kalyan Nagar, Phase 3 area (near Newton High School, Sriram Nagar).

There are at least 3 street lights which do not work for the past 8~10 months.
There was a 4th one which was repaired 2~3 months ago and thankfully thats been working well.

However, I'd like to point out that I've often observed in the late hours of the evenings, very young children often smoking "beedi" and cigarettes in the shadows of darkness near Newton High School, Sri Ram Nagar. If at least there is proper lighting at least it will discourage such hazardous activities.

There are 2 lanes (inverted L-shape) which lead to the back entrance of the Newton High School and there is ZERO street lighting within at least 100~200 feet of the school entrance.

I humbly request authorities to look into the matter, and ensure proper street lighting a.s.a.p.

Armed forces personnel owning a house / Flat if residing in that house/ Flat is exempted from paying house tax under GHMC Malkajgiri ( RR Distt). There are cases where the house is either on rent or permanently sold to a civilian for a long time . In the instant case Flat No 405 in Ushodaya Apts SV COLONY , RK PURAM- 500056 was purchased by one Major ( Indian Army) . He was exempted from paying house tax. In the year 2006 the flat was sold to Mrs Meenakshi , a civilian duly registered at the Sub-Registrar office at Malkajgiri. But neither the Sub-Registrar informed GHMC of the transfer of the property to a civilian nor the present owner informed of the transfer to GHMC, Malkajgiri officially. GHMC Malkajgiri with its field officer , namely Mrs Manjulata , in collusion did not update the status of the Flat and is extending exemption to the civilian owner in the name of Major Radha Krishna, the previous owner.
I have brought this case to the notice of the field officer , her superior section officer , the manager and the Dy Chairman GHMC, Malkajgiri. I fact as per the rule in vogue houses / flats not resided by the respective owners are not also eligible for exemption. The field officers are well aware of the status of such houses / Flats in their domain. They are in direct collusion and taking their cut .
My complaint to Dy Chaiman GHMC has remained unactioned as on today.
I hereby draw the attention of the Chairman GHMC to take the necessary disciplinary action against the errand officials.
I also draw attention to the IG registration to advice Sub-registrars to intimate change of ownerships of such properties to the concerned office of GHMC so that they are compelled to update their records on exemption of house taxes etc.

Am a resident of Nizampet (Kukatpally), would like to bring to your notice that the stray dogs problem (10-13 in number) has been increasing day by day in our area leading to much inconvenience day and night times. I request the concerned authorities, on all the surrounding apartment residents behalf to take necessary action sooner sending a dog van to move all the dogs...

Dear Sir,

My name is G. Srivani resident of Borabanda,allapur, Hyderabad. I am very glad that, my street have many street lights and I am thankful to GHMC for that. However, I have noticed that on the pole no.D-119/1017 is having two lights on one pole. I request you to shift one of the light to the next pole i.e., D-119/1018 so that some of the dark area will be covered with light.

H.NO.1-9-34/B/2/1, RAMNAGAR, HYDERABAD, is constructing GROUND + 2 FLOORS is not following the terms of G.O. Ms. No. 541 MA, dt.[protected] and his permission will be revoked U/s 450 of HMC Act 1955.

The construction is made on the ancient well filled with loose sand and garbage. Even the Borewell he dug is totally failed and the garbage filled some decades ago oozes out when pumped. It may endanger the neibours living and their buildings if neglected. Even he not laid foundations / basements at sufficiend depth and not much deeper.

PLEASE SAVE THE PEOPLE AND LIVES AROUND IT BY HALTING THE construction; (BETTER LATE THAN NEVER) SIMILAR THINGS ARE IDENTIFIED IN RECENT CONSTRUCTION AROUND IT.

The following things are not adhered;
1. Sanctioned Plan shall be followed strictly while making the construction.( whether sanction taken or not)
2. Stocking of Building Materials on footpath and road margin causing obstruction to free movement of public & vehicles .
3. A safe distance of minimum 3.0mts. Vertical and Horizontal Distance between the Building & High Tension Electrical Lines and 1.5mts. for Low Tension electrical line not maintained
4. The construction not done by the owner, in accordance with sanctioned Plan under the strict supervision of the Architect, Structural Engineer and site engineer.
5. Not know whether he obtained the Structural Stability Certificate by the Structural Engineer duly certifying that the building is structurally safe and the construction is in accordance with the specified designs. Because construction is undertaken on the ancient well and generates lot of doubt to various neighbours of that building. NO ONE IS DARE TO SPEAK OPENLY BECAUSE TO MAINTAIN PEACE IN THAT STREET.
6. Extending his boundaries and stair landings on to the road side may be taken care and demolished urgently.
7. Not maintained or created a joint open spaces with the neighbours building / premises for maneuverability of fire vehicles. Also making constructions whithout making nay setbacks area and no space for parking.

Hoping for a favourable action and stop any further danger to the residents around this particular building in street no.18, Ramnagar

Roads all over the city are in pathetic condition with pothles, pits and bumps, mud all over the city. Traffic is in total chaos in city due to bad roads and GHMC is not doing anything ????

I'm a resident of Priya Nivas, Yellareddyguda, HYD-73. We have a severe problem of mosquitoes in my area and unable to survive ther since a month during the nights. And have noticed that there is a huge water tank where the dirty water are stagnant right behind my house. So we request the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corp. to take care of that and save hundreds of people's health in that particular area. So please take certain measures to prevent diseases warning the owners of that house where the tank is situated.

Ushodaya Apts in SVO Colony has 25 Flats . Out of the 25 flats only nine are owners occupied. Rests are rented except two which are not rented. Rented Flats are registered in the name of Armed forces personnel who are exempted from paying house tax if self occupied. The apts came into existence since 2002. Many of the flats owned previously by armed forces personnel have now been sold to civilians whoe are in-eligible for exeption of house taxes. Flat No 405 is registerd in the name of Smt Meenakshi , a civilian. However she is not paying the house tax since 2006 as neither Sub-Register , Malkajgiri had informed transfer of property to the GHMC nor the present owner of the flat 405. Ghmc field officer who is well aware of the fact is concealing the change of occupation to GHMC. Flat No 405 Ushodaya Apts is therefore still exempted from paying house tax.
There are other category where a flat owned by a serving soldier is rented to a civilian i.e not self occupied to claim exemption of house tax. But the defence personnel are availing exemption in collusion with the society executives as welll as the GHMC field official without whose help ( in exchange of some favour ) this will not be possible.
In both ways GHMC is loosing a large chunk of house tax. It is happening in many other apts in RK PURAM , Sainikpuri etc . Will GHMC take the concerned field officials and the officers responsible for such loos of revenue to GHMC?

Street lights not burning at Street NO 2 Veera Reddy Nagar, NACHARAM

Subject: Request to restore the bus-stop opposite NIN, Tarnaka.


Sir,
We the staff of National Institute of Nutrition, Tarnaka, wish to bring to your notice that the bus-stop shed which was right opposite to our institute (NIN) were the buses going from Secunderabad station towards Uppal, Nacharam, Dilsuknagar, Moulali etc. used to stop, was removed in the process of road widening. As there is no shed the buses are not stopping at this bus-stop now. The bus drivers are refusing to stop the bus saying that there is no bus stop here. Regarding this issue the Depot Manager, Dilsuknagar was also informed.
We request you to kindly restore the bus-stop shed, as not only NIN staff but also Railway Degree College students, employees of SBH, Lallaguda, Axis Bank, Lallaguda and many others are facing lot of inconvenience. Please do the needful as soon as possible.

We, the residents of Laxminagar Colony of Lalapet that, in our locality, the milk vendor Mr.Balraj ( resident of beside H.No:12-1-489/7, Laxminagar Colony, Lalapet, North Lallaguda, Secunderabad-5000 17) is tying the buffaloes on the roads and causing the lot of inconvinience to the Laxminagar Colony residents. He is throwing the garbage and wastage in the nearest drianage manholes, digging the roads, throwing watage on the roads etc., Due to that, drainage water is blocking in the manholes and dirty water is floating which is leading to lot of inconvinience for the tresspassers. By this, our children and we are getting various kinds of health problems. We had requested him so many times to remove the cattle from the said area but he had threatened to our life. Though, we had given numerous complaints to the respected authorities in your department but no one has taken any action on him.
We request you sir, to take the seroius action as soon as possible on the milk vendor Mr.Balraj and do the needfull to the residents of Laxminagar Colony, Lalapet which is having under your esteemed control.

I AM RESIDENT OF HYDERABAD.MY HOUSE NO IS 4-7-128/3, SIVAJI NAGAR(MARUTHI NAGAR), ATTAPUR, HYDERABAD COMING UNDER RAJENDRA NAGAR DIVISION OF GHMC. OPPOSITE TO MY HOUSE, THERE IS A LEAKAGE OF DRINAGE PIPE AND DRAINAGE WATER IS OVERFLOWING BEFORE MY HOUSE GIVING FOUL SMELL FOR THE LAST ONE WEEK. INSPITE OF MY REPEATED COMOMPLAINTS, NOTHING CONCRETE HAS TAKEN PLACE. MAY I REQUEST GHMC AUTHORITES TO UNER TAKE THE REPAIR WORKS URGENTLY.

The open NALA is occupying by the neighbors due to this the drainage system is damaged and the road is filled with full of drainage water and the road is damaged. People are facing problem with drainage water and due to this the mosquitoes are increased and also the smell is horrible. So please look into this issue and resolve the same.

We live in Miyapur area (near Talkie Town; road parallel to St. Rita's school).
There are too many stray dogs and puppies in this area.
We are afraid of coming on the roads. Also they bark too much in the nights.
We do not have the phone numbers for registering a complaint.
Can the Municipality people take away these stray dogs?

The approach road (parallel to St. Rita school) gets completely flooded during the rains.

There have been a severe drainage leaking in street no.6 west maredpally for the past 3 days. The sewage water is going like a small river causing health hazards to pedastrians.

Street No.6 can be renamed as a drainage street, because 95% of the time this road is flooded with drainage water.

No authorities is bothered to look into the same.

Hope the complaint is looked seriously and sorted out at the earliest.

There are many stray dogs in the following area Macleodguda , Next lane to Hindi marwadi Vidhyalaya , near kutchuria vatika , Laxmi narayan apartments , PG Road ,Secunderabad and lanes before that , Complete area there are at least more than 500 stray dogs which are attacking the passers by. You can find most of the dogs in midnight and during the day . I will be thankful if GHMC takes immediate action . I want them to take the dogs away on a daily basis till the dogs are not found as many a times when the van comes the dogs hid off and unless the vehicle comes for few days regularly the dogs cannot be removed.
