1.Unexplained Access to Lift Mechanism:

Despite the fact that we have no active AMC with the company, their service provider accessed our lift mechanism without any prior permission or information. This raises a serious question — on what authority was he given access to our system? The incident appears highly suspicious, and we will be conducting an internal investigation into the same.

I am a senior citizen 72 years old and some people in my building are 75 years old. I am writing to you in agony and loss of trust on the company OTIS Ltd and regret buying the Lift for my house.

I got OTIS lift installed in January 2023...

There is oil leakage from the gear box. Please fix it...

Poor service in my area by otis. raised concerns that elevator is not working. instead of fixing it has been shutdown. we have a emergency but they dont even listen over call. multiple tickets but still mo solution.

Lift not working

We have bought a flat in Tambaram East - Chennai Via DAC Promoters. In this flat there are three elevators installed for the 3 Blocks.

Out of these 2 elevators were not working for the last 3 days, We filed a complaint with OTIS customer care 4836953 is the complaint no. From the day one we are getting some problem in all three elevators. very poor support by OTIS team. They are making us to beg everytime. In fact all these three elevators are under warranty. I never expected this kind of support from a reputed brand like OTIS. . In fact in our block we have about 6 floors and there are senior citizens and pregnant womens in the flats. I have highlighted this points also with the local support team. You shall reach me @[protected]. Till now no response pathetic, As an Individual i will never ever refer OTIS brand to anyone.

The lift has stopped working on Sunday evening and Otis support engineer is not available till Monday morning.

How are elderly people supposed to reach their homes on upper floors?

Non availability of 24 hour support is a serious problem

To provide some context, I am a current user of OTIS Elevator in Goa and have been satisfied with the product's performance. Recently, I relocated to Gurgaon, Haryana, and now require an OTIS Elevator for my villa. Excited about continuing with your brand, I promptly contacted your customer care number on three separate occasions from my no [protected], clearly stating my requirement. Unfortunately, I did not receive any response or follow-up from your team.

I contacted customer care once again, On this occasion, I was informed that my request had been prioritized and that a sales representative would contact me. After waiting for two days, I finally received a call from Mr. Piyush Gupta of your sales team (contact number: [protected]). He provided me with information regarding the OTIS Elevator and its functions. However, to my disappointment, he failed to follow up on our conversation or provide any further assistance.

Due to this lack of proactive communication, I have been forced to constantly follow up on my case. Even after finalizing all the necessary details and sale cost, it has been three days since our discussion, and nobody has approached me for the signing of the contract. This delay in the completion of the process is both frustrating and concerning, as it reflects poorly on the efficiency and professionalism of OTIS as a company.

I have been a loyal customer of OTIS Elevator, but this recent experience has left me disheartened and questioning the level of service I can expect from your company. I am genuinely surprised and disappointed by the way OTIS has handled my request and the subsequent lack of follow-through.

I kindly request you to look into this matter with utmost urgency and take immediate action to rectify the situation. I believe it is essential for OTIS Elevator to address and resolve customer concerns promptly to maintain its reputation for excellence and customer satisfaction.

I trust that you will address this matter seriously and provide a swift resolution to ensure my confidence in OTIS Elevator is restored. I look forward to hearing from you soon and witnessing a positive change in the way my case is handled.

Two lift has been installed in upsida office building but one of the lift is not working from last 10 days kindly resolve the issue as soon as possible

Our otis lift is not in operation from last 3 days.
Your engineer did inspection on 12th April 2023 near about 02:00PM. He found aircord of the lift is warned out and need to replace, but till today EOD the work has not been done, consequently 42 flats are suffering for the movement including senior citizens, childrens, sick people.
You are requested to take urgent action and start the lift.

I am writing to bring to your kind attention that we M/s Kenge Construction co. have placed 6 lifts for TRIHMS block-II, whereas 3 lifts are already installed and the remaining 3 lifts are yet to be installed. We have already made full payment for all 6(six) lifts and the remaining 3 lift's parts have already reached the site. Now the problem is why none of the concerned engineers/ staff for installation have yet been dispatched. Whereas this is not the first time, no matter how many times we have to call you, or email your response is very late, we are so tired of contacting your executives. If you can't send your team for installation, why dispatch the material? We are supposed to handover TRIHMS block-II by the end of this month but just because of your lift we are unable to. We are so displeased with your side of works; we are losing our trust in OTIS company. We don't want to list the names of your team members/employee/executive. Now all you can do is take back the material which is yet to be installed and we are breaking our ties with your company.

My son almost lost his feet by a Otis escalator. He nearly could get his feet out in time.

Dear Sir,

I filled my PF form in the year 2021. After enquiring within 6 months i came to know that my form was lost by the department. I refilled the form in the year 2022 and submitted the same. When I enquired the department about the refilled form there was no answer by them. On december 2022 I sent a letter to the department manager telling about the situation but no reply or information has been received by them till date.
Therefore, I request you to kindly pay attention to the authorized department about the form and take necessary action.

One of the lifts (labelled A2) installed in Block A of the Suvidha Cooperative Group Housing Society Limited, Plot No. GH-10, Sector-56, Gurugram, makes loud screeching sound and appears wobbly while it moves up and down. This may be rectified. Thanks.

We have ordered 7 nos of lifts at vasai by order number contract number 52ND0541/45 and 52ND 0539/40 in 2 firms viz Shantee Housing and Shantee Swarg.
The Delivery Date was 30th october 2022 for all the lifts and the same was revised to December 5 2022 . The same was not honoured.

Mr Abhijit Pawaskar assured for 3rd date of dec 22, 2022 and the same is not honoured..

we want it to be done immediately or reimburse our losses.

In accordance with the Croatian Elevator Safety Ordinance from 2019, every elevator must have a built-in two-way voice connection, but your OTIS elevator, which was installed in our building in 2020, has a defect. On several occasions, I wrote a letter to OTIS Croatia, but they ignore me. It is shameful that a global company like you has such frivolous employees in Croatia.
Please let me know on which email adress I can send you Report of the independent company that established the deficiency.

On[protected] Otis Elevator was called to check our residential 2 story elevator. At no time was there a mention of the service (that was not completed) costing $1, 214.35! I am a 100% disabled veteran and on a set income and no way can pay this bill!

I am very concerned with the level of service we have been receiving from Otis. I sent a work order on Friday 2810/2022 along with the code to the door(please see the attached doc)
On Monday 31/10/2022 I was informed that the lift has not been attended to, I rang Otis who advised me that you do not cover this site after a lengthy discussion one of your officers were able to locate the site and confirmed that someone will attend within 4 hours as per your policy, I advised your officer of the access code.

No one attended on the 31/10, I rang again on 01/11 and I was informed that someone attended at night but no one opened the door (if the code has been given why would the engineer need a resident to open the door?)

My colleague chased this again on 03/11/2022 once again we were told an engineer attended early morning but the resident did not open the door. The code to the door works, I am confused as to why the engineer insist on the excuse that the resident did not open the communal door.

On the 4th, last week Friday my colleague, Maddie rang Otis and she was told someone will attend on the 4th by 4pm without fail, it is now coming up to 2nd week since the lift has not been operating. There are elderly and vulnerable residents in this building, almost two weeks and no one has attended, this is appalling to say the least.

I am also going to submit an online complaint, please confirm why engineer has not attended? As frankly the excuses given is very poor.
When will an engineer attend?
