I am writing to file a formal complaint against Park Royal Holidays Pvt Ltd, a complete fraudster company, for their deceptive and fraudulent practices as a provider of India+Asia + Europe membership services. On August 14th, 2023, I entered into a contractual agreement with this company, investing INR 3, 00, 000 for a membership that promised access to 5-star properties in both India, Asia and Europe along with complimentary tour packages. The terms of this membership required me to submit holiday requests 30-45 days in advance.
My experience with Park Royal Holidays Pvt Ltd has been a nightmare characterized by repeated breaches of trust and fraudulent conduct. I am submitting this complaint to seek your urgent intervention in addressing these egregious issues and ensuring that Park Royal Holidays Pvt Ltd is held accountable for their fraudulent actions.
My grievances with Park Royal Holidays Pvt Ltd are as follows:
Deceptive Practices:
My first holiday request was raised on August 21st, 2023, for a holiday booking for October 29th 2023. In spite of repeated emails and calls, they never responded until October 20th and stated to raise the request 72 days prior to the date for international booking, penalizing customers for their incompetence in response.
Manager's Invisibility:
The manager, Rakesh, becomes invisible mode and never responds to calls or messages after the amount is paid, adding to the frustration and disappointment.
False and substandard Inventory Information:
The second request was raised on November 6th, 2023, to travel in February 2024 for our wedding anniversary. The response was that the booking window was not open yet prior to 60days window, which contradicts their previous reason for not providing a holiday.
Later, they came back claiming to have inventory only in April and could not provide it in February. When I asked for an alternative destination, "Maldives, " for the dates 12th to 16th February, a low-rated 3-star hotel was given as option that too with different dates which is, which is a clear violation of the commitment to provide 5-star accommodations in specific listed hotels. Infact askedto purchase some kind of full package if needed good hotels, ridiculous.
Again, I asked for a different destination, and there has been no response to date.
I would like to further emphasize that while Park Royal Holidays Pvt Ltd was incredibly active and attentive during the initial sales process, their commitment to customer service has vanished thereafter. They have consistently failed to answer phone calls, respond to messages, and have taken an exorbitant number of follow-ups to reply to initial emails. This lack of responsiveness and neglect of customer inquiries is deeply concerning and only adds to the overall deception perpetrated by Park Royal Holidays Pvt Ltd.
I feel compelled to warn anyone considering membership with them about their enticing but ultimately deceptive offerings. This company is a trap, and potential customers should steer clear to avoid the distressing experience I have endured.
I urgently request your immediate intervention to address this matter. I seek the following remedies:
- A full refund of the membership fee of INR 3, 00, 000.
- A thorough investigation into Park Royal Holidays Pvt Ltd's fraudulent
business practices, ensuring that they are held accountable for their deceitful
commitments and appalling service.
- The implementation of strict measures to safeguard consumers against falling
prey to Park Royal Holidays Pvt Ltd's fraudulent schemes.
