Sir,

Kindly see the blow site information which is selfexplainatory. Till yet my passport has not been despatched where as site shows as on 17th Feb 2011 "It will be dispatched by post on[protected]" . Kindly do the needful at the earliest.

My application no. for reissue of my Passport is F033573 & my husband's is F033572.
It is more than four months that we had applied for the reissue of our passport at the regional passport office Delhi. Whenever we check the status it is the same for the last four months which reads "Police verification has been waived and application is underway".
We fail to understand the delay in despatching the passport & making further progress in reissuing the passport.We had applied for reissue on 20/09/2010.

I applied for passport renewal on 21.09.2010 vide file no F033788. Now the website shows that " pending for want of police verification" Whereas the police department of verification replied me by SMS that the said file has not been received yet. I am unable to understand which department is true. In the whole process my passport is being dalayed.

My wife has applied for passport with Receipt No. DLH-D003728 on 7 Sep 2010 at Delhi Passport office to correct the change in surname after marriage. I had arranged for a Verification Letter that is needed for Tatkal Scheme. Her earlier passport was issued from Bareilley where her date of birth was not correctly fed into their computers. On noticing this, Delhi passport office said that they will not take this under Tatkal and rather would go for Police Verification which I accepted. I had discussed about the urgency on which PRO had assured that it will be delivered in 10 to 15 days. But till now even police verification has not been completed.

I have to travel on-site along with my family but because of delay in getting her passport I am helpless. In fact after receiving her passport I have to apply for my kid passport also.

I request if issuance of her passport be expedited.

I applied for fresh passport in Year 1998, but at that time after submitting all the documents at the fresh passport application counter and all document verified by the counter clerk itself and after police verification I got one letter from Passport Authorities that some of my documents are missing and I have to submit the documents then only the Passport Authorities will issue me a passport, after that I submited all the documents as required by Passport Authorities in Year 1998 itself, but I did not received my passport till May 2007. Then again I applied for fresh passport on 22nd May 2007 under normal scheme, police verification was done within 15 days from the date of application and I checked the status in the site www.passport.gov.in it is showing that passport was ready on 26th June 2007, but I still not received my passport till date, because of not having passport I lost a job opportunity in Africa. I already submitted an application by hand to RPO Bhikaji Camaji Palace with my Job Offer letter and Appointment letter of Africa in last week of June 2007 and RPO told me that you will receive your passport with in one week (i.e. 1st week of July 2007), but till date I haven’t received my passport. I also E-mailed twice to rpo.[protected]@mea.gov.in but I haven’t got any response through mail. Then I called up the telephone number[protected] that is Chief Passport Officer number, one lady picked up the phone and told me that your passport with File No. A[protected] dated 22nd May 2007 is not dispatched because you applied earlier also in 1998 and not mentioned in your second application, then i asked her now what to do then she told me that come to passport office and submit the fine Rs. 1000/-, after that i went to passport office and submited the fine on 03rd June 2009 and they told me that now you will receive your passport with in 10 working days time but it more then a Year i have not received my passport, when ever i went to RPO, Bhikaji Cama Palace they always told me that it will take 1 week, 2 week.

I have applied for my Passport on 20april 2010. Police verification was done on 07may2010, and at the time of police verification i have provided all the necessary documents to the police officer. But few days later when i have checked my passport status online it says that :

"Pls. send attested copy of Marriage Certificate or Marriage Affidavit as per Annexure-D of Passport Information Booklet of Form 1".


and after checking this status online, I have submitted my Marriage certificate to passport office at, Trikoot - 3, HUDCO Building, Bhikaji Camaji Place, New Delhi Two (2) times. And still i am getting the same message online to submit my marriage certificate or marriage affidavit.

I have even complaint about the same issue over email to the regional office, but i have'nt got a single reply from there end till date. Please Look into this matter as i am in urgent need for passport, Even the passport office phone enquiry numbers are not responsive and they are not updating my status even after submitting the required documents twice.Please help me.

I Meenu Kataria D/o Late Shri Jagat Singh, do hereby state that I have applied for a passport on dt 04/03/2010 and submitted fees Rs 1000/- in District Passport Office, Asaf Ali Road, New Delhi. They have issued me a file no. DLHZ002044. I regret to say that I have not received my passport till date, even all enquires have been conducted by the concerned department. I have also checked the details on internet and there is a message that “Personal particular form referred for re-verification to concern Authority.” As you are aware that a period from 04/03/2010 to 01/06/2010 is enough to complete all the formalities by the concerned department.

Hence you are once again requested to please check the status and issue me my passport without any further delay.

I don't know if these would be read by any one but no doubt, it is a nice way of ventilating ourselves. I think, the way passport department is run by the government has made it apparent that its privatization is mandatory. If some one has been to a passport department recently, would notice half of the country's population lined up in a queue waiting for the turn to come. We hope that by standing in a queue we would get to see some one who would actually help and guide us with a solution to our problem. But when our turn comes, we get hold of some one who is almost illiterate, ill-mannered and irresponsible enough to make us think twice that if we should really continue with the attempt to get the passport.

I applied for the passport 2 years a go and still I have not received it. I have furnished my documents over and over again but to no avail. It appears that they just don't want to issue a passport even when the documents are suffice. I have missed 3 opportunities of abroad where I was suppose to migrate a business for my company. It would have been a great career opportunity for me. Now, I am at a verge of getting no job else where as all the employers in my field would need a ready passport. There can be 3 reason that I can think of for not issuing a passport to me:
1) I am a MUSLIM and our government is communal enough to not to issue a passport. Or,
2) Our government employees are dramatically incompetent to complete the procedure. Or,
3) Both of the above.
But both the cases show that government is unable to handle this department. Passport is a very basic thing that one should have and if the government fails providing such an elementary document then I don't think that we should really expect any thing further from them. .

I submmited Application no. Z / 600065 / 08 dated 17-06-08 through Rewari D.C office . I send again aDraft of rupees of 1000 in reference to RPO Delhi Letter no. Z / 600065 / 08 dated 1/07/2009 wide speed post dated 13/07/2009 police varification is already send by D.C office Rewari and sevral letters through speed post is already send . Sir,
I submitted Application no. Z / 600065 /08 dated 17-06-08 through D.C office Rewari (HRY) again send DD of rupees 1000 in reference to RPO no.Z / 600065 / 08 Dated 6-07-09 by Speed Post Dated 17-07-09 . Police varification already send but since then neither received the passport and nor expired draft which was expired due to negligency enquire the matter and give relif . In this connection several letters and emails already send but no fruitful results or reply .

Dear Sir / Madam,

I applied for the re-issue of damaged passport, I needed it urgenty, but the passport office delhi employees didn't submit my application form in Tatkal.

So, I applied in general mode on dated 04/02/2010, my file no. is D000425.I also submitted an application after the police verification on 25th March.

Now the status of my application is 'Dispach is underway' since 1st April.

If I enquire for the file no.s which were applied on the same day or later than my application got thier passport delievered.(Please refer the attached pic)

The application of 'Hazel Kakkar' for the issuance of a new passport was forwarded through Speed Post centre Ramesh Nagar on 24.06.2009. The receipt issued by the Speed post centre carries receipt no. ED[protected]IN , file no. DEWW15084309 and Key no. [protected] dt. 24.06.2009.

This application was accompanied with a Demand Draft number 105124 dt. 12.05.2009 drawn in favour of Regional Passport Office, New Delhi. However, after passage of four months, passport status as shown in the website said 'Application is pending for want of Police Report'.

We re-submitted the application enclosing all the photocopies. Police verification was also done around three months back and since then status on the website says

'Police Report is clear. Application is under process.'

The application (W150843 for the year 2009) in the name of Hazel Kakkar has been pending since 24.06.2009. I have complained multiple times on the emails mentioned on their website but no response.
