This complaint is regarding the Peter England showroom on Devaraja Urs road in Mysore City.
I had placed an order of 5 red t-shirts and 13 blue t-shirts with the showroom on 8th December 2010. They said the red t-shirts are available and they will have them brought by 15th December 2010. They weren't sure of 13 blue t-shirts being available and said they will let me know later of whether they would be able to order that or not.
2 days later, i.e. on inquiring with the shop, they said it won't be possible to order 13 blue t-shirts. I told them to proceed with the order for the 5 red t-shirts and confirmed with them once again that they will have the t-shirts by 15th December.
On calling up the shop on 14th December and asking the status of the t-shirts, they told me that the t-shirts have not been brought because I never placed an order with them in the first place!
On going that day to sort things out, they informed me that there were 4 red t-shirts of the style code I ordered available. I then placed an order for 4 of those and 1 more red t-shirt of another style code. They said they will have the 5 t-shirts available by 16th December.
On calling them up on 15th December to confirm whether they have the clothes or not, they then informed me that out of those 4, only 3 can be gotten. The reason was that one of the t-shirts was in Belgaum which would take 2-3 days to ship. We couldn't afford to wait that long, and hence told them to change the order to 3 t-shirts of one style code, and 2 of another code. They guaranteed (once again) that they will get it the next day. The same day at night, they call me up and tell me that there was some problem with the system because of which it was giving some faulty information and hence even those 3 t-shirts are not available. In their place, only 2 were available.
So, in the end, I ended up being duped not once or twice, but four times. First, they didn't take down my order, then 5 t-shirts became 4, 4 became 3, and 3 became 2. The communication was absolutely hopeless with the workers in the store. They seemed barely interested in customer recall or what the customer was interested in.
Thankfully, not all Peter England stores are this pathetic. We got our needed stuff through the showroom of the same company in K.D. road in Mysore. The experience there was thankfully heartening and reassuring.
I request all concerned never ever to shop at the Devaraja Urs outlet of Peter England, or else suffer a gruesome experience.
I purchased Blazer winters collection on date 20.10.13. At the time purchase Piece I asked to billing person if have found any defect in wearing, may be replaced or not, then says 100% replacement. Properly and later on, I wearied blazer on date 19 .11.13 and after half an hour, white spots are blinking in blazer. I think it was a defective piece. When I go back to the shop keeper on date 01.12.13, he was saying, this is not color fade. Please you may go for dry cleaning then after dry cleaning product is good. I am going to dry cleaning shop then dry cleaner shop was saying, problem is color fade and I don’t take this blazer for dry cleaning. Also again going to Pantaloon shop, giving the receipt of dry cleaner. Then he was saying, put the blazer, I am sending blazer in our dry cleaning shop, payment was giving to you.
My problem is not taken this product but he was not interested for replacing and he was misbehaved to me and refused to change the piece and asked me to contact here.
I request you to take a serious action against your dealer and change my product.
