Car Service quality

I given my Maruthi 800 car for service last week to Popular service centre at Mannanthala, Trivandrum. I got back the car on the evening. After 4 days I found the car tyre pressure was only 15 psi. Another local workshop asked me, did I replace the fuel filter? This is the type of service popular do? May be they have lot of new cars to attend, but when you take money you need to do correct service the old car also....

Over the past year, I've spent a significant amount on repeated AC repairs for my vehicle, totaling around ₹40, 000, but the issues persist. After replacing the AC compressor and other components, the system continued to fail, and there were additional problems like disconnected headlamp and fog lamp, missing wiper tank cap, and cracked gear head.

Despite several visits and assurances, my car's AC still does not work properly....

    We have a ciaz car. Previous week we service our vechile but there a waring lift issue. They will not find the reason for that .In the display there is “ SERVICE START SYSTEM “ but the service already done. I am not satisfied as a customer. I need a solution

      Wagon R AMT in use for 7 years and covered around 55000km shows occasional alarm in the shape of a gear wheel. The vehicle taken on 6th June 23 was returned next day after a thorough wash and claiming Rs.6800/. The problem persisted. After a number of telephone calls and checking by their technicians, it now said that there could be a problem with kutti motor and replacement can be done for the AMT kit, which will cost around Rs.70, 000/ They are not even sure that the problem is identified with the AMT kit. It is only a trial. (Kutty in Malayalam means small). The supervisor was not able to tell me even the function of the the so called kutti motor.
      Tried to escalate the issue through their website and numbers, given. No use. Most of the numbers given are not picking up. Those numbers which are available and picking up belong to the category of the above supervisor or even below that.

          I am shyno n k having baleno car bearing number KL 73B 7511 had given for full service at pathirippalm popular service centre( bathery wayanad) on 18th April 2023. But your service was not impressive and not in a satisfactory manner. Because of your poor quality of service I will not give my vehicle in future for service.

            My family members booked the vehicle from Popular Maruti Nagampadom, Kottayam on Jan 11th 2023, paying 5k rupees as advance. Till March last week no response from them even after telling them that we would cancel the booking. May be because it was CSD, they delayed as much as possible. No proper response to customers. After making many complaints, they returned the money after 20 days or so, cutting 250 rupees. We are the ones who wasted time & effort, suffered mental stress and trouble but they took 250 rupees as such. Not even an explanation as to why it is cut. Most probably, this way if things go, customers will shun Popular for irresponsible behaviour. The cutting of cash may be processing fee but no one to even bothered to tell us for what purpose the amount is cut, though it is a small amount. They proposed 100% cash reduction during booking time, telling that booking can be cancelled any time. We will not have the loss. Now we wasted our rime, effort and money. Please think thrice before going to Nagampadom Popular Maruti showroom, I warned all my friends, family and aquaintances.
            Wake up, POPULAR NAGAMPADOM, KOTTAYAM, WAKE UP!! There are umpteen showrooms and better quality vehicles available now. If you go on like this, you will soon lose the 'tournament' even in the case of the much successful Dzire!!

              We - my sister & family - booked a Maruti Suzuki Dzire at Kottayam Nagampadam Popular Showroom, Kerala. A 'higher up' there is the one who approached us when we visited the showroom, not any of the salespersons . Till the booking amount was paid, things were more or less fine. Afterwards, it was like making a call to an out of coverage area and the message that you get for unconnected calls!!! Everytime we call, he will be either too busy or he will not pick the call. A few times he was so 'casual' that he had not even much of an idea as to who called. He will not keep in touch with us, the customers once the booking is done. Neither will he offer any concrete or clear answers for any query. If he has no time to attend to us, then why did he take it up? We booked our car in the second week of Jan 2023. He promised that the car would surely be delivered in two months & that it was the maximum waiting period. In between when we called, he had no idea who it was/ which variant did we book. After two months, he said that the car was just packed from the factory for transportation- the standard answer that was always given by chance the call got connected.

              We wonder whether he was neglecting us deliberately as we planned to take the vehicle through CSD. Two of my friends who wanted to book the Dzire from there backed out listening to all his lukewarm replies and careless attitude. Is this how a manager should be? We believe that Popular Maruti has a great customer friendly atmosphere. Our three vehicles prior to this and the vehicles of most of our relatives are also from Popular Kochi. But Popular Kottayam disappointed us very very badly. Somebody had already told us not to take from there, still we expected it to be an unfortunate mistake when the person had warned us about the Nagampadam Popular Maruti's careless deals with customers. Very very unfortunate and disappointing, to be honest, Sir. People try to take a vehicle sometimes when they could somehow arrange a loan/ money. If the delay is not told about clearly, that money will be taken and spent for other things. The saddest part is even our booking amount is not yet returned. Ordinary people also have their needs, Sir. Now, we feel it is great that we did not take the vehicle as we cannot imagine, how much difficulty we might have faced in the future for registration, servicing etc.

              Sir, please train your Managers to be more responsible, serious, committed, punctual in response and considerate to customers. The good name Popular has earned through years will surely be lost if things go on like this. Today, my friend wanted to take a car from there and he asked the reason behind my cancellation. I just handed over the messages and call recordings. He instantly dropped the idea of booking from there and went to another dealer. Kindly view this seriously as we have seen many dealers in this lifetime for family & friends, but had never faced such a serious neglect/complaint. We are only happy to come back to you in future if needed, provided the negative vibes of extremely casual attitude to customers and neglect of customers from your employees' side are properly taken care of. This is not a complaint, but a request for better service. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

              The amount is returned today, but 250 rupees is cut. What about the customer's financial loss in driving 12-13 kms from home to reach your showroom & back home, twice? What about the salary lost for half a day's leave? What about the tension & trouble we took? Who will compensate us????

                I have claimed for insurance, but I didn't get proper insurance for which I have claimed.i have taken company insurance itself, if I have taken other insurance i will get all the benefits.Then what is need of taking company insurance itself.Its sure that I will not suggest anyone to take company insurance policy, it's totally fake .

                  My name is Manu Joseph and my vehicle is Maruti Ciaz 2022 model. The service will be available everywhere as well as the trust in a company like Maruti is the reason why I am buying a Maruti vehicle.
                  But service issues from Wayanad Pathiripalam service center make me disappointed.

                  Complaints came to me in the free service itself.
                  When I gave it a rating, I gave a very low rating. The service center immediately called me and promised to give me the best rate and to take care of the next service.

                  Now when the side mirror of my vehicle broke, when I went to make an insurance claim, the popular staff told me that the side mirror is not in stock and that if I book it, I will get it in 3 days.
                  I booked the side mirror on 31/12/2022.
                  There has been no followup till date, if called, the staff does not answer the call.
                  Even if you call after several days, you will not pick up the phone.
                  How can we get a proper service with such irresponsible staff.

                    I had booked for Brezza 2022 by paying Rs 11, 000 with Popular Maruti dealer at Trivandrum. Since the vehicle was not delivered even after 8 months, I canceled my booking. They have also informed that my booking with Ref No SOB 22001291 is canceled, vide SMS on 30 Nov 2022. Though I was promised refund of the amount within 3 days, I am yet to get the money even after 35 days
                    Even if they pay, some amount will be deducted. No one will even bother to inform us for what the amount is deducted. Then what about the compensation for our trouble???

                      I own a Swift Vehicle TN13P4027. I had claimed an insurance in 2019 for repair in the car back door which was rectified & was informed that the original painting was done. The paint on the top of the back door got faded recently which they said was original paint done during repair. The original paint on top of the car is still the same whereas the paint on the top of car back door got faded. Due to this I m highly disappointed & unsatisfied since during repair & claiming insurance amount I was informed original paint has been painted. Please look into this on high priority & I have also given my car for service today 3rd Jan.

                            I am writing to issue a complaint against the service i was provided for my maruti suzuki swift vehicle last Tuesday (18/10/2022) At Popular Vehicles service center Kattappana

                            Before having the service i called the service centre and explain all the complaints about my car. petrol pipe was leaking and they say 3 pipes are complaint they should change immediately. And i asked can you have the whole stock and they said yes. But my service day there is no parts for my vehicle's service parts. I asked them but the whole team was not responding my questions. Also today the team called me and doing their job in very badly.

                            This is very disappointing, and i expect better service from the official maruti suzuki repair centre. I demand that my vehicle be repaired properly, and this time without cost.

                              I did the 60, 000 kms period maintenance service for my car swift zxi KL35G-8191 on 26.09.2022 at the Popular Vehicles and Services, Pala Branch, Kottayam District. On 07.10.2022, during our travel with family to Thodupuzha, we noticed fuel smell in the car and it was fuel leakage from the vehicle. The car was taken by recovery vehicle to the nearest popular service center at Thodupuzha and they informed both the fuel hose (pipe to engine) has been damaged and they replaced both the fuel pipes.

                              When I called the concerned service advisor at Pala branch after this incident, he informed that fuel pipe leakage is common for Maruti cars and every day 1-2 cars are coming in their service center with this complaint. Then why it was not checked at the period service, the answer was if the fuel leakage is there at the time of service, then only they will check.

                              I believe that such fuel leakage can cause major accidents including loss of lives. When we send our cars for periodic maintenance service at authorized centers like Popular, we expect the cars to be checked properly for all the possible wear and tear. This incident shows that no such inspection is carried out at the Popular Service Centre at Pala.

                              I request for a proper investigation on this matter to avoid the accidents that can be caused due to such poor quality and irresponsible services.

                                Irresponaible dealing from popular maruthi killipalam karamana trivandruma. Assured me to pick up my car before 9 am today. But no response. Not able to contact them via phone... You people telecall daily and now such irresponsible behaviour... What ia this maruthi??

                                  I had given my vittaara breeza, 2021 Dec. Model, to Popular Maruti at Kelkatlai, Chennai, because of damage made by dogs in the wiring harness In April. When they delivered the vehicle the engine got stopped inside the workshop itself. Later, they made it working. Next day, the car got break down and they took the vehicle to the workshop and repaired. But, the instrument cluster, defogger etc is not functioning as before. There is starting trouble also. I am contacting popular to get the issues rectified. But, they ask me to bring the vehicle and nothing was done. They come and say some stories to brainwash me.
                                  Kindly take action to get the issues rectified.

                                    Didn't get my vehicle kL-16 Q 7583

                                    Yesterday evening I given my car for service till today evening 7pm I didn't received any call from service centre regarding the delay of delivering my call, after 7pm one junior persone from centre told body work didn't completed yet so they can deliver tomorrow only na... What a pathetic situation ? How irresponsible persons or mangers are working in newly started service centre ... How we ll give refference to others about this centre,...
