Hi,

We have Racold Geyser for the past 5 yrs now. recently we got our Geyser coil and thermostat changed through "Metro Services". they gave us a warranty of 6 months on the coil for Rs.1650/-. The coil stopped functioning within a month.

when contacted the company, they dragged us for almost a month.. did not come to check the Geyser nor attended the phone call.

after innumerable rounds to the shop, they finally refunded only Rs.1000/-

i want my full reimbursement.

    We bought 2 Racold Geyser (Eterno ) in the month of Octuber last Year. from Om Electric Masoodpur Vansant Kunj
    However we were unaware that we will have to bear the cost for the entire season.The so called Geyser is highly inefficent,the heating was so poor that a 15 L geyser would heat half a bucket.
    We lodged a complaint at the service station of Racold.So Called Engineer visited us, but in vain, as per him he had changed the element but for us it was good for nothing.
    we did not loose patience and lodged a comlaint again, the same engineer visited, and you wont believe, the situation worsend and after his visit the geyser was not even reaching cutoff.
    We again lodged a complaint but thing became worst from worse.and the problem is still persisting
    Not sure how a huge Electroic Company can behave in such a manner with the consumer.
    We have spent entire winter with this hopeless m/c.
    Not Sure should be done now

      I had purchased a new Racold Geyser on 31/12/2011 from Electri city,Galleria market,Gurgaon and thereafter the geyser was installed at my residence as under:

      H-905,Wembley Estate
      Sector-49,Rosewood city
      Gurgaon

      But after installation, the geyser started immediately leaking from the inlet pipe. The complaint was lodged with the dealer as above as well as with Racold Complaint number. The Enginner of Racold visited our residence and he tried to blame that either the screws installed in the wall have touched the internal wiring of the building or the earthing of the building is not proper. And due to this, there is leakage of current which is the cause for leakage. We contacted the Electricians of our Wembley Estate and consulted them regarding the issue raised by Racold Engineer. They have clearly stated that the Racold Engineer is just faking the things and is trying to blame the wiring of the building whereas the problem is with faulty new geyser given to us. If there had been any problem of the screws touching the internal wiring or the Earthing of the building had been faulty then there would have been immediate short circuit and supply would have been disrupted. Since the electric supply in our apartment is perfectly normal, this is not the case and the blame lies with the faulty new geyser supplied to us.

      In view of the above, my sincere request is that M/s Racold immediately replaces the faulty geyser supplied to us by the dealer with a new fresh piece and the same to be installed at our residence at the earliest. Myself & my family are simply getting harassed by supply of faulty geyser with no fault of ours.

        I had bought Racold Pronto gyser in Dec 2010, it worked well for few monts, off lately Current started coming in the water due to short circuit within the gyser, i called the Service center in Delhi, the tecnician visited & took the gyser promising that the same will be repaired / replaced (based on company's decision) & will be sent back within 3-4 days.

        Now around 15 days have past but i have not got my gyser, in between i was told that the gyser is getting replaced, When ever i call the service center now, there is a standard answer that they have not got the replacement as yet & when ever they will get the replacement, the same shall be delivered, This is hight of poor service / committment. How can a company of this stature behave in today's scenario

        When u call the service center at phone no[protected] / 24, a madam picks the call then comes a man on line after holding for 5-10 minutes & then he asks you about the address & then comes the standard answer that the replacement is awaited, Today morning also i called & this man called Sudhir gave this answer which i have been hearing from last 10 days, finnaly i had to raise my voice & then told him what do i do as a customer, i need this gyser in the winters only & you are not committing the time frame as to by when i will get my gyser back, he continued to repeat the same line & finally said that i am keeping down the phone, i cannot do anything beyond this.

        This is too much on the name of SERVICE & i am harrassed & unable to do anything.

        can somebody tell / guide me as to what i should do ??

            I have called the Racold Service Centre at K270, BlockK New Alipore number. Contact person Mr Ashish. Phone number[protected].
            The engineer came on Wednesday 4th January 2012, inspected my geyser, disconnected it and told me he would come back on Saturday 7th January 2012 along with the spare parts to repair it.
            In repeated calls they have been promising to come and fix the geyser and no one has shown up.
            Mr Ashish personally confirmed yesterday 13th January 2012 that Karthik would come today Saturday 14th January 2012 by 1 p.m. When I called at 2 p.m. Ashish was conveniently not there and no one bothered to give me an update.
            I have aged parents and young children at home. It is difficult to operate without a geyser in the winter.
            I would be happy if this matter could please be taken up.

              WORST SERVICE AFTER SALES

              I have a gas gyser of Racold company. I registered a complaint to KRUSHI SERVICE CENTRE an authorised service centre on 05/1/2012 for servicing it. I was allotted complaint no. 105 . Till date no body attended my complaint. It is clear that the performance of this service centre is very poor. And the way they give response to the customers is ridiculous they are not even bothered to speak to the customer and if we start arguing with them they simply say do what ever u want and wherever u want complaint do it we will come when ever our people are free. We are not expecting this type of service from a well known COMPANY. Either the RACOLD COMPANY SHOULD CHANGE THE SERVICE PEOPLE OR THEY SHOULD APPOINT AN ALTERNATE SERVICE AGENT

                  I have purhcase Racold Gas Geyser from authorised Dealer Sun Electronics-Maninagar.

                  Since the date of purhcase till today warm water not coming. For which we have many times complainted to there local authorised service centre Khodiyar electronics-Paldi and they also visited serval times and solved problem temporaliy. However they could not find permanet solution for the problem.

                  For the above problem we have also lodged complaint to the manufacture from theme also there is no feedback.

                  I hereby suggestiong that no one should purchase this brand geyser.

                    Though the water geyser is in warranty period, the company is not responding to my e-mails dated 23/10/2011 and repeated on 31/10/2011. One suggestion to all the Water geyser buyers.

                    Purchase all other Water geysers but do not purchase RACOLD Water geysers.
                    I agreeVery Poor Quality even very poor service. No Response
                    I kindheartedly agree with Nimesh. My appeal to all prospective Gas geyser buyers not to go for RACOLD geysers.

                      I have written to you in this matter on 13/10/2011, 21/10/2011 and e-mail dated 23/10/2011 and on 31/10/2011.
                      I have made complaints to your authorized Service agent M/s Khodiyar Electric, Ahmedabad 380 007. on 11/07/[protected], 10/10/[protected], 12/10/[protected], 20/10/[protected], 31/10/[protected], 03/11/[protected] and so on. They have serviced the heater on 22/10/2011 also charging me Rs 390/-.
                      The service agent Mr. Chandreshbhai has suggested the following.
                      1. I should attach the pump with the heater and it will cost me Rs.5500/- plus fitting charges of Rs.2000/-
                      2. I should change the water pipe line so that in-flow of water be more forceful. I have done this on 05/11/11 at the expense of Rs. 2000/- and now the in-flow of water is quite forceful. The heater has, however, gone dead today ( 06/11/11).
                      3. Your service agent will now ask me to purchase a new house where the heater may work a bit better. Mr. Chandreshbhai told me that even if I attach a pump to the heater, spending more than Rs.5500/-, it is not certain that heater will work better and longer.
                      The suggestions of your Service-man are totally ridiculous and whimsical. He is totally inefficient and does not know anything of Gas Water Heater.
                      Whatever the case may be. My heater is dead from 06/11/2011. The Power cells put up by the repairer on 04/11/11 are quite old and worn out and yet he charged me Rs 30/- for the same. The cells are similarly replaced for more than 4 times till now.
                      I am tired of writing to you and making repeated complaints to your service agent. There is no response from you so far and this creates doubt on your integrity also. If you do not consider my grievance very soon, I shall take up the matter with Consumer Redressal Cell, report the case to newspapers and media because I shall have no option but to throw away your Heater into garbage or dispose it off as scrap. Please think what you would do if you were in my place.
                      Kindly see that my case is resolved justfully and that too at the earliest.

                      racold instant gas geyser — malfunctioning

                      i have purchased racold 6 ltr.inst. gas guyser on 21/8/2009.within these 4 months it stopped functioning several times.each and every time near about 8-10 times i called customer care but they didnot solve problem yet.i want it replaced but they are not responding.we have to bath with cold water.
                      The rubber tubes with metal netted cover, to and from the water-mains supply, as well as the outflow tubes have all begun leaking since the last three days...begining with a few drops and increasing over time to quite a lot at present...I guess they need to be replaced...asap...

                        I have purchased two nos. Racold make water heaters in Dec'10.
                        As per the Guarantee card, the water heaters are guaranteed for two years from the date of purchase against electrical breakdown or mechanical failure caused through defective material snd workmanship.
                        Since 1st.Oct'11, one of the water heater's electrical system started malfunctioning. When the water heater is switched on the power is tripping.
                        I have lodget the complaint with Racold's authorised service provider on 3rd.Oct'11 (complaint no.2518). Though they have assured that their mechanic will atttend the water heater latest by 5th.Oct'11. When I called them today, they have refused to attend the problem without assigning any valid reason.
                        Since it is an electrical appliance and it's malfuntioning may be dangeroous to life.
                        I request for your help to stop this menance.

                          This is to bring to every body's notice that my leaking Racold Electric Geyser (Pronto - 3 Litre) which is under warranty was taken to the service centre for change of internal tank... and it is almost 29 days without any communication from their side....no update on any activity..today when I called they said still waiting for parts...

                          I fear that my geyser is lost.. Pity that I relied on Racold..supposedly the better brands...God help the other lesser known brand customers....

                            I too bought a Racold Geyser(Eterno 15 litres) in July 2008 which had to be repaired twice within the guarantee period. I now have an AMC done with ABM Enterprises, 370 New Alipur. The geyser is out of order and I made a complaint on 27th July 2011 and in spite of repeated phone calls the needful has'nt been done yet. This is very unlawful and needs immediate attention. It seems there are many complaints about this service centre. Where do I go now??

                              we already use for hot water RACOLD - GEYSERS last ten year and not facing any problem.

                              but latest three year before i purchase new fiber body another racold geyser and facing problem due to not coming hot water.
                              i called to service centre and he charged rs.815 and repair.
                              i surprised ten year old geyser don't have any problem and new geyser problem just come in 3 years.
                              and he told now using iron rod and before we use copper rod.
                              i donot understand - if racold type branded company come complain then why we use.

                                I have bought Racold electric geyser from Kishore electricals, Dhobi bazaar, Bathinda, 6 months back but it has stopped functioning properly. I called the service centre as well the dealers more than 8 times but they have not attended my complaint. Also there is no place on their website where one can lodge a complaint. They just leave it to the dealers and buyers after selling their product.

                                  I have lodged complaion of Gser not working vide complain no.1057 dtd.[protected] but till now no body has attained the complain.

                                  Every time your represantative available on[protected]/70 is telling that AAJ TO LADKA NIKAL GAYA KAL KARWA DUNGA (tecnocian is not available will attaind the call tommorow).

                                  Rally it's a very poor response of Racold type well known brand.

                                      Racold is one of the notorious companies in terms of customer care. This company customer care think that blunt argument is their forte. I have bought a instant gas water heater in Jan 2011. When ever we find problem with the heater, when we call the customer care, they don't respond rather tell us not to disturb them.
                                      Never ever in my life I recommend any body to buy Racold products. I think this company is run by JOKERS

                                        There is a lot of problem in finding accessories for Racold geysers in Goa. We have around 120 10 lit Racold geysers in our complex, but when they have a problem, the accessories are not easily available in the market. Please let me know where can we get the accessories from or who are the technicians to be contacted for.
