For Pronto 3L Water heater bought on Vivek's, Chennai, on 14/10/2013. The very first complaint was made with Racold under warranty coverage, and on receiving the request on 7/8/15 the technician was sent from Sairam Enterprises (Official Racold Service), and we were told both the tank & thermostat has been worn out. but on 8/8/15 only the tank has been replaced and it was working for a while, where they even acclaimed Rs. 400 for Clamp Rod, as they said it'd enhance the lifespan of tank in future. but just in a month's time the heater has gone to non-working condition, with some fumes of smoke.
Last month when I reported the issue to Racold, the tech was sent from the same Sairam Enterprises, and after knowing the fact the original warranty has been expired few days back & now currently it holds in Extended Warranty - he made a false investigation stating as now only the thermostat have gone broken, hiding the true picture where the newly replaced tank has been broken leading to thermostat & thermistor to failure as well, which then was came to light & acknowledged by Home Serve technician (Vivek's - EW Coverage).
Post which i was asked to get in touch once again with Racold/Sairam Enterprises - Complaint ref #ES10223184 to have the tank replaced, as it alone 5 years warranty coverage. Still they are refusing to having it replaced free of cost, in spite of faulty replacement made 2 months back by them.
Even after agreement of all service charge payment, I'm yet to receive a technician nor any close of having it repaired.
I'd request concerned team & authorities to have necessary action taken, and have the problem resolved at the earliest.
