Himalayan Scram-411 service issue with warranty claim

Hi,
I had purchased Royal Enfield classic 350 Halycon Black in Aug'22. This is Dual ABS and got the vehicle modifications done before delivery by the Royal Enfield itself. After the 2nd Service of my bike on 27th Jan'2023. Till i gave my bike for servicing at Royal Enfield service station at Sanathanagar- Hyderabad it was perfect with mild sound in the front (may be fork) and it was informed when given for service. After couple of hours, I got a call that rear disc brake pads need to be changed and they asked for my approval. I had approved and they were replaced. After collecting my bike in the evening that is when the issue started- NOISE IN THE BREAKS. I had gone again on next day they took inside and told me they cleaned it and now I will not get the noise. Unfortunately, it started again after an hour. So, I had visited again & asked them to fix the issue and told I will wait and collect the vehicle. So, I had collected back but with same disappointment. Now I had sent an email to customer service, on 2nd Feb'2023 and they reverted raising a complaint ID for it. Next day I got a call from the Sanathnagar Service station, one lady named- vijaya durga (arrogant person), she says as the brake pads are new noise will subside after using it for some time :(. I asked her if new pads are replaced why noise will come and what's the use & meaning of new? She doesn't have an answer to it so informed me she will send a surveyor to collect the vehicle and see for fixing the issue. I handed over the vehicle to person who came to pick up and also went with him for almost 15 mins drive to make him understand and hear the noise. He acknowledged and took the vehicle to service station and I followed up for 2 days and personally went to collect the vehicle. THIS IS VERY SURPRISING- AGAIN THE ISSUE IS SAME, they just kept the vehicle with them for 2 days and only tried to change with other pads and given back with the same pads removed from the vehicle.

I called the lady after 2 days (as they went to Chennai for meeting) mentioned above, she says there is some problem with the brake pads from the company itself and it is a known issue to them and also told me they have an SOP from Royal Enfield company itself acknowledging the brake pads issue.

NOW PLS TELL ME WHO WILL FIX THIS BRAKE NOISE ISSUE AND SOUND IN FORK (which is not being addressed)

    I recently went to get my bike serviced at the Royal Enfield (Hridaan Motors) service center. I told all the issues I had with my bike and the attendant agreed on those issues and assured me that they would get the work done accordingly. I own a thunderbird 350x and it has the odometer and the instrument cluster placed on a metallic plate. With time the plate bends and the odometer starts to wobble and it is normal. So I told them to sort that out or at least change the metallic plate which I was ready to pay for. Also, the digital odometer comes with time, fuel indicator, etc. Before the service, the time was perfectly set and both the ‘SET’ and ‘MODE’ buttons were fully functional and in sync. But after the service was done the ‘SET’ button stopped working and the time too was out of sync. I complained to the service center regarding and also showed them proofs about the same. The negligent attendant was denying that and was shamelessly trying to convince me that it wasn’t their fault and said “To be honest this issue is useless and it’s impossible to fix that”.
    I gave a 1 star rating and complained about all this. They immediately contacted me and said that they’ll resolve the issues which I’m still waiting for. They never fixed those issues and ignored it completely.
    I wasn’t even gonna complaint anymore but I faced another issue. A small stick or some part went inside my ignition lock. My key wasn’t completely going inside the lock and this was blocking the key from rotating. As my bike was a thunderbird the lock and ignition lock were the same. I told the service center about this issue and the lady over there told that she has registered the issue and booked a slot and a mechanic for my issue. This happened the day before. She gave me a phone number and told to contact the mechanic. The mechanic told it won’t be possible for him to come on that day. I again contacted the lady and asked her that why was she lying if she hadn’t arranged the mechanic. She told that there was a rush going on that day and promised that she will send a mechanic and an attendant the next day(today). I called her in the morning she didn’t pick up the first time. The second time she recognised me and again told that a mechanic is on the way to my place and will sort this issue today itself. I waited till late afternoon and again called her. This was the time I was really pissed as she had already promised me that there were people coming to fix the issue. But then she told me “sorry sir but can you do one thing take your bike in a tempo and come the the showroom.” The thing that made me angry was her promise and even after telling that the key won’t rotate and the bike was locked how can I even ship the bike via a truck as it was handle locked. I waited for 2 days listening to their promises and couldn’t use the bike.
    This was really tiring and my bike is still locked and I don’t have a spare vehicle to use.
    Never going for a service ever again at the service center. Even after charging a premium amount they refuse to fix issues and show no respect to the customer.

      This is the worst experience I had from Royal enfield showroom BTM Bangalore after receiving the new bike within a 8 days the main two screws with connects the mudguard has not be torqued so I myself fixed and when I took the bike to the service and said the complaint they've charged me for tightining of grab rail ..I just need to know how can showroom guys deliver such kind of vehicle without inspection ? that too without torquing the main screws. Was this a production fault or it was showrooms fault.. worst experience. I can share the video as well ( video is lengthy not able to attach )
      The guy who installs side mirror asks additional money for installing mirrors during delivery of new bike.
      The guy who installs number plate asks additional money for installing number plate and its screws.

        I brought new Royal Enfield bike from Rudrapur on dated 22.01.2023.

        I am facing two issues which are still not resolved which already shown to showroom team members, which are mentioned below-

        1. Noise related- Engine sounds unpleasant (some knocking sounds).

        2. Aesthetic related- paint peel off observed due to which the bike aesthetically not satisfactory.

        Request you to please rectify and resolve the issues on top priority to give confidence and satisfaction to customers.

          Hi,

          Bought Royal Enfiled Beach from Madinaguda Hyderabad branch in the month of April 2022. Now I drove the bike for almost 7000 kms. When I planning to give for third service, the Service guy observed and told me that back indicators lights (In black) are not same as front indicators (Chrome color). How come the spare parts are changed and sold to me.

          If I dont get a resolution here do let me know will proceed throught consumer court. This is how royal enfiled is cheating customers bye changing the spare parts.?

            My motorcycle is just a year old and I have been facing problems from the first month. I have complained for about 5-7 time that my bike doesn’t start after a week of standing and everytime i get a response that everything is fine with bike and its just i have to start the bike everyday to keep it working. Thats not how machine works and its just a vague excuse from the Royal Enfield.

            My bike no. is DLSFA1051.

            If you can see the RSA and complain history you will see how many times I have complained about the same problem.

              My classic 350 abs signals sand sotone service done on 5 jan 2023 on ev motors calicut pavangad service center.My job card no is-rjc011579fg07348.Rs.5665 work is done when i give the bike they said the give same day but they not give that day and give it to next day ther service executive behaviour is very bad even they not picke the phone when i call to know the staus of  service. After service there is  a sound form front side and bike side of bike when running it is very difficult for me to visit service center f .Today i take a lve form office and went to service center they told front baing want to change when i given to first service there is no sound  after the service the sound is came.When i told to these to there service person his behaviour was very bad .Then i said ok change i they said they cant chenge it now  ake one more day to take change it.It is there fault but there service center person and the serive of evm moters behavour is very bad.Evm motoers is one of the bad service centers of calicut.I want to rectifiy these problem, as soon as possibleÂ

                I recently had a very dangerous incident with the bike. I was crusing at 80 kmph approx as usual and suddenly hear a weird sound coming from the front engine/fuel tank of the bike. So I pull up to the service road and check on the bike and I find all the fuel almost being emptied out of the tank and I was lucky the fuel didn't catch fire...

                Hello,

                I am one of customer who got the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 bike yesterday from Tauras Motors located in Panama godowns, L.B. Nagar, Hyderabad, 500070. There was major problems with the bike within 24hours of buying the product where I as stucked in traffic for about 3-4hours then, I have been to one of the nearest showrooms of Royal Enfield located in Shamshad they say that there’s a severe issue with bearing of the bike which isn’t actually the new part of the bike, that bearing was just temporarily fixed which caused me severe problem and I am seriously very dissatisfied with your service moreover I am gonna need a refund with compensation on this. Also the payment was all one time, I haven’t even financed that . That’s so disappointing for me the service of tauras motors is so worst.
                I request you to please contact the store and get the complete case of my bike and resolve the issue ASAP.

                  Yesterday my classic 350 was puncher at outside city, then I call to RSA for towing my vehicle to nearest workshop.but the RSA team said me that the mobile no., chesis no. is not registered to us so we not gave you service. I purchase vehicle on 12th of January 2023 still my details not updated yet...whom was responsible for that trouble i dnt know...
                  But yesterday I suffer a lot and i never suggest anyone to purchase Royal Enfield vehicle in future...
                  The service of Royal Enfield is worst...

                    I have bought Royal Enfield Meteor (Black) from Hare Madhav LLP miraj, last year on 06/11/2021.
                    I have bought my bike in custom colour by paying all the necessary extra charges as per demanded by dealer.
                    All the necessary RTO registration was handled by dealer only.
                    When I received copy of my Registration Certificate, i found the colour mentioned in RC was white, I had taken this matter with Dealer on phone call and WhatsApp. But I didn't get any satisfactory resolution. Then i had taken up this matter with Royal Enfield Support Team through Email and they had assured me that they will resolve the matter. Now more than 3 months have passed and I have to renew my Full Insurance which was expired last month. On telephonic conversation with the insurance agent to renew the insurance she had suggested me to get corrected RC before renewal of insurance otherwise at the time of claim the issue will raised because of differed details in RC.

                        It crucifies me to pen down this complaint of the pathetic service from Royal Enfield which is yet not resolved after 25 days, After so many follow up to call centre where the representative is only sitting to say a recorded apology without taking any action.

                        On last 18-Oct-2022 suddenly My Bike (WB20BC-8427) Royal Enfield Interceptor stopped in middle of the road and with the help of RSA it was sent to nearest service centre of Kolkata (Austin Motors).in 20th Oct it was informed me from the service centre that there is some Self Start motor problem which need to replace and it is not in stock and it will take some time, and also Please note that the Bike is only 3 yrs. Old and its and run about 4020 Km and it having some serious problem and which will cost a lot to replace .

                        However, I raise a complaint (CAS40845612S4S6W8) to customer care to speed up the process as Bike is something essential now a days Where as in 22nd of October I got a call from Royal Enfield that you issue has been noted and it will be resolved in next 7 days and also request to resolve the request and unknowingly with due to trust with Royal Enfield somehow, I convinced and agreed to resolve the case and from then the game changed to 360 degrees.

                        And then after I didn’t get a single call from the customer care and every day, I need to chess up by calling customer the issue but apart from saying sorry and highly apologized they didn’t do anything even I didn’t get a single call back from them which they promised to do after every call to give a resolution in next 24 Hours

                        I am most annoyed that I wasted my time every day calling in the call centre waiting for the issue to be resolved. My impression of Royal Enfield has been tarnished and also highly disappointed to invest in such a Brand those having a wider presence across India but unable to cater the minimal support in Metro City /Kolkata.

                        Now Certain question comes up in my mind,

                        Why only 3 yrs. old Bike having such a serious Problem? And company just ignoring the same by replacing the parts only and what is the guarantee it will not happened in every year so is that only made for some commercial aspect only which laid the customer in such feedle situation

                        What would happen if the same happened during a long drive?

                        Why has just a Bike been sold without proper Service support?

                        For me Interceptor 650 was one of dream but now seriously it’s a turn to disaster for me, I pledge to no recommended the Bike any more ☹

                        I am very disappointed and shocked from what happened and I didn’t find the proper solution and that’s very irritating.

                        I trust this is not that awful company wish to conduct service with any of the customer

                            Sir i purchased a royal enfield on 2020 but till now i ran only 400kms yesterday my bike was not started.Then i contact the nearby service center. They pick up the bike on road.Today they told fuel pump was not working need to change the pump and also its not comes under warranty because of 2 years only have warranty.But initially the showroom i purchased the bike concern person says 3 years warranty for fuel pump or 30000kms .In my case both the criterias were not acheived.the same complaint has been registered through customer care number through phone. The same has been replayed. This is disappointed me very much. I purchased the bike for 2.25 lakhs and ran only 400 kms and need to change the pump for to drive the bike .For every 400kms i spent nearly 8 to 9 thousand to run this royal enfield. Three month back also services the bike. But not told about the pump was not in good condition but now after 2 years, they said the pump was need to be replaced. For their quality of motorcycle pumps only ran 400kms and also its not under warranty because they need to pay after 2 years. i parked my bike in enfield service center in Trichy. Already i told to the service center the pump under warranty means change it otherwise dont do anything i will pick the bike and parked in my home and kindly advise in this regards

                              Providing service bill in different name and address rather than that was in RC book. Though it has been addressed several times, they are not responding properly. It was wrongly updated in their system but failing to update correctly.

                                I have purchased my RE bike meteor fireball 350 on 23rd of August'22 from Sreeji Automobiles Gurgaon. Till date i have not received my RC. I have called several times to the showroom and filed a written complain also still there is no action taken and i am getting harassed by police official on road because of RC. This is a mental toucher i am facing because of Sree ji Automobiles . I need solution and harassment charges .

                                  Dear Sir,
                                  The Complaint is against the Royal Enfield 650 Design and also other bikes design specific to its Silencer having end angle to upper side. Due to its upper side angle, the vehicle Exhaust emissions are directly with force touches the face of the Biker coming just after the bike which got inhaled by the rider.

                                  As its already proved with strong evidence about the link between vehicle emissions and health problems.
                                  I request the Pollution department, Health Department and Ministry to check how such design got sanctioned which affecting the health of the People of the nation.

                                  I request the forum to order such 2 vehicle companies to change the silencer design to old pattern of 180 degree from the existing pattern o[censored]pper side angle.
